A bidding war
« on: March 09, 2020, 07:51:01 PM »

Confidential communication for the Heyran government

We are contacting you in order to formally express our interest in acquiring assets in the Heyran Republic. We are aware that the cuts in subsidies made by the Christian Pope have affected the finances of the Republic and we would like to reach a mutually beneficial agreement where the Tamoran Empire acquires some of the Christian Church’s property in Heyra.

Should the Heyran Republic be interested in selling such assets or broker such a sale, please note that the Foreign Office is willing to enter into negotiations to acquire some of those assets.

Following reports that Heyra are looking to sell off parts of their transport network the East Moreland Airways Travel Group believe they would be the ideal candidate to take over operations of air-travel for Heyra. EMA Travel Group are the largest operator of air transport for East Moreland and have a safety and security record that is second to none. We have a wide network of routes that criss cross the whole of Mundus and by linking them with those in Heyra it is our belief we could expand the options of travel for the citizens of Heyra as well as increasing capacity. As our fleet of ever expanding aircraft is soley provided by EMAC you can also be rest assured of the fact that aircraft being used will be using cutting edge technology to keep passengers travelling in comfort and safety while also minimising the impacts of sound and emissions pollution.

We firmly believe selected us to take over these assets would be of great benefit to all parties and we would be excited to work with you.

To whom it may concern,

Tytorian World Airlines (TWA) is the largest and most experienced airline within the Kingdom of Tytor.  Our operations date back to 1947, and we offer flights across Albion, Ardia, and Cotf Aranye.  Our routes to and from Alba Karinya are admittedly limited at present, so we see the sale of Λ as an opportunity offering great benefit both to TWA and, more importantly, to Heyra.  With this in mind, I would like to formally announce TWA's intention to bid for all or part of Λ, so that both may prosper as Heyra enters this new period of its history.  Representatives from TWA's Acquisitions Department will be in touch shortly.

If Λ is fully acquired by TWA, the former will become a subsidiary of the latter, continuing for the foreseeable future to operate as it has hitherto done.  Λ will retain its current name, fleet, workforce, and company image, with only minor adjustments being necessary to bring it in line with TWA's existing policies.  Consideration is being given to making it possible for Λ to be listed partially on a Heyran stock exchange, and effort will be made toward keeping the company fully part of the Heyran economy.  I look forward to establishing a good working relationship between TWA and the Heyran government, so that we may see the Heyran airline industry remain a force for good in Alba Karinya for many years to come.

Respectfully yours,
-Cornelius V. Rasband, CEO of Tytorian World Airlines

TO: The Heyran Finance Administration

Greetings, this is a formal notice from the New Derusmia International Airways administration that our company is interested in bidding for Lambda Airlines (^) and its assets. If acquired, all of Lambda Airlines (^) assets such as, but not limited to, its fleet, employees, equipment, etc. will be integrated into NDIA. We are willing to negotiate for prices. NDIA is also interested in bidding for the National Airport Company and its assets. We are willing to negotiate for prices.

New Derusmia International Airways is a fairly new airline, being founded in 1986 from the merger of multiple former Derusmian airlines. However, the airline has gone under rapid expansion since, and has become one of the largest airlines in the world, joining the ranks of prestigious airlines such as Pan-Ar and TWA. Our destinations stretch to all over the world, from Ardia to Albion. This acquisition of Λ and the National Airport Company will allow us to heavily expand our operations and destinations to all over Alba Karinya and Aranye, meaning that we will be able to provide our safe and reliable service to all Heyrans and Alba Karinyans.

Sincerely,

Finn Riedel, CEO of New Derusmia International Airways
