Last night the world was awoken to a surprise and almost neurotic action by the Southern Albion Nation of Oriania. As a run down of what lead to this, as we all know weeks prior there was a chilling terrorist attack within the nation of Orania that killed a disputed number of people and perpetrated by unknown persons with no real facts or accusations released. What we do know is soon after the attack, Orania Government Spokesmen started claiming without evidence that communists from the "shithole" nation of Kaitaine were involved. Weeks now later, without any further evidence or even a statement released by the accused nation of Kaitaine, the so-called President of Orania seized the powers of other government officials to launch a military operation against a nation in a region that this nation doesn't reside as if sending horsemen on a mission off a cliff. In violation of standing agreements threatening half a dozen unrelated nations Orania announces the final strike on communism but then immediately looses his nerve and realizes the great mistake he has made.

Unfortunately, this all happened in such a short time frame that only Moreland was able to rise protest before this incident had rolled in and out but none-the-less the Republican Council of Sobek mounted a response below included an excerpt of the speak given by the Chairwoman of the Council during her press release.

"While I understand the frustration of the Orania People. You are being led off a cliff by a madman, you can't get anywhere on the international stage with no goodwill or respect from your neighbors. If I were to punch my neighbor I would not expect him to lend me his lawnmower how can you expect to punch yours and expect them to help you in your times of need.

The Orania Government is not complete you still bleed in key areas instead of gallivanting across the world terrorizing people with no reason or cause why not turn inwards and start to mourn and heal. You accuse communists left and right but you bring us no facts no reality just your deranged frothing accusations. 'President Underwood' might want a 'final victory' or to put the nail in the coffin of communism but communism is not something you can kill it is not a person or something you can destroy it is an idea, a theory, a belief and the more you crusade against it the more you destroy moderates and to empower hardliners.

There are communists in the Sobeki Council. They are my co-workers, they are cousins, they are family, they are friends. Communists aren't a monolithic boogeyman they people. Some are bad but the same can be said of every group. What I have to say to you Mr. President, if you want to nail a final victory against communist, will you bring the fight to Sobek, we accept our communist brothers and sister. I dare you to try to purge us of ideas you personally don't like. We will win on the ideas and we will not apologize."

Council Aflame as Snap Elections Called

Tonight amid the airwaves a shock announcement was made by the office of the Premier of Sobek. The Republican Council shall dissolve effectively at the end of the week as the Premier's hastily constructed Snap Election Proposal of 2017 garnered enough votes from the opposition party to be announced to take place officially in three weeks. Rumors of such a proposal have floated around the nation as infighting rocks the core of the Governing Liberals and Greens Pact as we all know inhabited by the Centrist Green-Yellow Bloc as the larger Senior Party and the Premier's Social Democratic Party as the Junior Party. Leaks from the Office has suggested that among the reasons being a threatened Vote of No Confidence by senior GYB Councillors and their influence in silencing a proposed Sobeki Recognition of the Utman cause.

It has been no secret that Premier Illenia has been pushing an official recognition of the Provisional Utman Republic coupled with an official "Letter of Regret" to the Lakhzovian State regarding their recent suspiciously conducted electoral foray. In the end this forced the SDP to announce their resignation from the LibGreens and to apply formally to join the The Left's Agenda's March Forward Bloc which since 2009 has been solely occupied by the TLA.

An interesting electoral season shall be in store for us as the powers of the Council shall be transferred to the Emergency and Election Oversight Board, a political apparatus primarily controlled by the Imperial Commission with input from the incumbent Premier and other Senior Politicians to react to national emergencies and such. An unscientific snap poll directly after the announcement suggest a massive miscalculation by the GYB dropping from a 45% approval rating a month ago to an estimated 28% following revelations of threats lobbied against Premier Illenia. More to be released as the story unfolds.

Margrave Summons the Ecclesiastical Ambassador to Holn

Amid growing fighting in the current electoral season between the struggling Centrists and Right Wing Coalitions while the Left Wing March Forward skyrockets to 59.7% in the latest NANN Scientific Poll, the Religious Dictator of the "Ecclesiastical State"decided to cause a riot in the Sobeki State launching an attack on Socialism. Socialism as some uninformed people like this Dictator fail to understand is that it is not a monolithic single thing. As the Sobeki Political Scene itself shows as three different strains of socialists fight for dominance among the Republican Council of the Empire.

Due to the theocracy's blatant contempt for the ideals of the Sobeki People and essentially saying "f**k your ideals" to the tens of millions of Sobeki Voters the Margrave has sent an official summon to the Ambassador demanding his appearance to the Margrave's Palace within the next week to answer for the crude statement of their theocrat, among the note was a list of consequences to a failure to appear or continued attacks on ideas by the Dictator of the E.S. including a lowering of the maximum staff their embassy, an expelling of the current ambassador, a demand for a secular ambassador who is removed from the Church.
