The Games were, as might be imagined, the highlight of the year for
Isabel Sullivan, as President of the Mundus Games Committee she oversaw the administration that went into both the summer and winter games, this included everything from rule changes to individual sports, liaising with other sporting authorities, decisions on the inclusion of new sports into the respective schedules, overseeing the bidding procedure for the Games and of course situations such as the one that Queen Aoife had outlined in her letter. It being day fifteen of the Games, there was only one place Isabel was going to be found and that was in the velodrome watching the track cycling. It didn't take long for a prearranged guide to show the Queen's party to the balcony that Isabel was watching from.
"Your Majesty." Isabel said greeting the Queen "Sir." she acknowledged Lord Barow-Brown "Ma'am." an acknowledgement of Ruth McCann's presence "Welcome to Mundus's festival of sport as I like to call it." she paused "Now please do correct me if I'm getting any of this wrong, my understanding is that you're seeking two things - the first is for Eigg to be granted recognition in sporting terms and second for Eigg athletes who've previously competed under another flag to be allowed to compete for Eigg. Am I understanding this correctly?"
