Marquess Katherine WraithIn a historic move and public announcement, Marquess Katherine Wraith has ended the long-standing policy of diplomatic isolation. What this means is that Morasius will now be willing to come to the table concerning international treaties and general politics. This announcement comes days after the Marquess instituted free and open trade policies with foreign nations. The Marquess, at the end of her announcement, hoped that "Morasius pulling its head out of the sand will bring increased prosperity to Morasius and the world at large."
Conservatives in the Peoples Council have criticized this move heavily, citing the carefully cultivated prosperity Morasius has and that introducing foreign influence may threaten the good lives of Morasians. We at MPN feel for the conservative voice, whom Marquess Katherine will likely continue to ignore.
Another consequence of Morasius coming to the international stage is the loosening of information protection policies. This report is a good example. No longer are MPN reports for Morasian eyes only, now people in foreign lands across the world will be able to read and enlighten themselves through MPN reports, starting with this one!
