The Batavian National Defence Force
The tower and the lion is the symbol of the Batavian National Defence Force The Batavian National Defence Force comprises the armed forces of Batavia. Certain army units can trace their root back to the "New Model Regiments", raised by the republicans during the Batavian Revolution. The Stadtholder of Batavia is the Commander-in-Chief of the BNDF, whilst the Minister of Defence is responsible for its financing, supply and administration, and its professional head is the Chief of Defence Staff.
