Request from CNN to Rokkenjima
« on: May 24, 2020, 12:41:37 AM »

To:- Empress Evanthe of Rokkenjima

As you will hopefully be aware the CNN are currently meeting for their annual conference. As part of this meeting a new CNN policy has been put in place. As such we are formally requesting the extradition of  Lt. Yanni Tawfeek and those arrested upon his arrival in Rokkenjima. As you have already refused to extradite them to the Commonwealth of the Iwi our request is that they be extradited to East Moreland where they shall be given a trial judged by four judges, one from each nation. Should a guilty verdict be reached then sentence shall be determined by Moreland laws. It is our hope that this will see the accused war criminal handed over to East Moreland's Military Police as soon as possible for transfer to Ostlake.

Signed

Establishing Formal Ties With The Imperium of Kodumaa

The First Empire shall be happy to effect the extradition of these individuals to East Moreland where they may stand trial. It has never been the intention of the First Empire to harbor individuals from justice, however, it has never been possible for the First Empire to extradite individuals to a nation with sentences which would implicate our nation in perverting our foundations as a Rosari nation.

As was the intent of the First Empire nearly a year ago, I am pleased to see this saga brought to a just close. The Empress-Emerita proposed a similar solution some time ago, to see justice resolved without implicating the Rokkenjiman nation in sentences which are in opposition to the Rosari principles upon which the First Empire is founded upon. Now that this course of justice has been agreed upon by the CNN we are equally pleased to bring this matter to a close.

Respectfully yours;
