Legion Weapons and Makeup

The Drovan Legion is the primary defense of the nation and the largest expenditure of the government, making up 11% of government spending, with a total of 600,000 active servicemen and women and 145,000 reservists. Composed of 15 Legions, each comprised of 40,000 soldiers. Each Legion is commanded by a Legate who gives their orders to 20 Cohorts, each commanding 2,000 soldiers. These Cohorts are further divided into 20 Centuria, led by a Centurion, each made up of 10 Contubernium 10 man squads. The 15 legates are commanded by the Legate Maximus.

Government

The Drovan Executive branch is split into 3, each designed to oversee a different section of government.

At the top is the Imperator, the royal family, and the central household. They are primarily concerned with overseeing military operations and foreign relations. This section also contains the ambassadors for all foreign nations and the Legate Maximus of the military, who is chosen by the Imperator at the completion of the previous Legate's service.

The second level is the Imperial Senate, which is tasked with managing the nation budget, signing off of new laws, and the appointment of members of the Supreme Court. The Senate has 100 members, 20 from each of the regions of Dragovah, 50 appointed by the 5 members of the central household and the other 50 chosen by each Regional Assembly.

The lowest level is the Regional Assembly. Each of the 5 regions contains a Regional Assembly that is tasked with overseeing local emergency services, public transport, infrastructure, and local courts and laws. Each Regional Assembly has 20 members,  all voted into office by the populace.

Dovan Hellenic

In the beginning, the swirling chaos of the Aether was that existed, until it of the chaos the Great Dragon awoke. She saw the chaos and felt sad, so she pulled the Aether together into 8 lesser dragons, which she breathed life into. These children brought order to the chaos and for a time there was peace. After a time, 2 of the lesser dragons grew jealous of the Great Dragon and began a great battle to take her power for themselves. In the end the 2 dragons were cast down by the Great Dragon into an infinite pit of chaos, but not before 3 of the other lesser dragons were killed in the fighting. The Great Dragon set these 3 up as monuments, the largest of them becoming the center of the Aether, the middle becoming the other shell of the pit of Chaos, and the smallest becoming a watchful guard over the prison. The essence of the 3 remaining dragons was then taken to keep them from rebellion and used to create all of the beasts that inhabited the great prison's shell. Then the Great Dragon was forced to sleep, to heal from her injuries.

The church is ran by the Pontifex Maximus, who is elected by the church of Pontiffs, each overseeing religion in their own region. It is expected by each member of the church to attend every Saturday to make the weekly offering to the Great Dragon. Once a year the Imperator is required to make the Grand Sacrifice to ask for continued protection of the Empire.

The Drovan Navy
The most advanced part of the Drovan Military, the Drovan Navy is a massive complex machine of 220,000 Active and 65,000 Reserve Personnel. The Navy has 6 Carrier Strike Groups, Submarines, and numerous other fast attack and support vessels making up 173 vessels, all carrying the prefix ISV, Imperator's Service Vessel.

The Drovan Air force
The Drovan Air force is the youngest of the Drovan military branches, being formed during the Great War once the importance of aircraft was realized. The Air Force currently has !96,000 Active Servicemen, 82,000 Civilian Personnel, 45,000 Reserve Servicemen. It is the second highest funded branch, just under the Navy.
