Tamora goes to High alert status as Emperor leaves the country

TINS news anchor

The Emperor has announced that he will be attending a very important meeting in Royal Selucid which will also involve the nation of Tarrokh. His personal presence being necessary. According to traditions dating back hundreds of years, the country has raised its alert status and the Emperor has delegated his powers (for the time he is abroad) to his Fist Wife, Alya, during a public ceremony. So for the short while that he will be away, the entire Empire will be lead by Alya Safavid. Aside from respecting a tradition which has provided useful in our long history , the event is also important because it tells us the Emperor has yet to decide who among his sons will be his successor as he would have delegated his powers to him had he made his decision.

The ceremony was transmitted live in the Empire with millions watching the ceremony in which the Emperor handed down his powers temporary to his wife, Alya. The elaborate ceremony was done at the Great Temple, in Djerb, in the presence of the Imperial guards, the Chief of Staff of the armed forces and the Supreme Ayatollah.

The main part of the ceremony was when the Emperor asked his wife:

"Do you swear on the Book of the Prophet to protect and defend the Empire against all enemies, both from within and especially from outside?"

"Until you return, Your Imperial Majesty" answered Alya.

The Chief of Staff noted that the transfer of power had been done and then gave the order to raise the alarm state  in the Empire. The tradition dates back to the early days of Tamora and is a testament to the importance the Emperor plays in defending the country. Without him in the Empire, the armed forces are vulnerable and thus the need to raise the alert.

After the ceremony was over and the Emperor had left for his convoy which would lead him to the airport, the biggest surprise came when the Supreme Ayatollah addressed the faithful in the temple and invited the Fist Wife, Alya, to come next to him. It was then he announced that he is bestowing upon her the greatest of honors, the title of Mother of the Nation, for her total and absolute obedience to the word of the Prophet.

The title has only been given to three other women in Tamoran history and is a reference to the venerated Mother of the Nation from the XIV century. Many in the nation were shocked at the announcement with those in the ultraconservative circles been the most pleased. Alya has seen her reputation and popularity grow steadily in the Empire as she had avoided any scandals, showed support for her husband in all his decisions( both of state and personal), and has educated her children to the highest standards of Manist teachings. As Abbas' wife for almost 25 years, she has stood in the shadows for most of this time and only started making regular public appearances in the last few years as her childbearing years were over and the Emperor has gradually given her more positions in the Imperial administration (treasurer and High Commissioner of the Kingdoms of Tamora). She has captivated ultraconservative circles with her constant promotion of the strictest interpretation of the Book of Mani as well as her total support for her husband. The only criticism of her has been given in relation to her decision to attend the controversial [ur=https://independentorder.net/index.php?topic=845.msg8515#msg8515l]ceremony[/url] of Musaevna Kadyrov. But many were willing to overlook that as it was solidarity with a friend that lead her to attending rather than a disagreement with the millennium old tradition of polygamy in Tamora.

Spoiler:  Alya, after receiving the title of Mother of the Nation • show

Alya Safavid humbled after recently being given the title by the Supreme Ayatollah. Furthermore, the competition for the next successor of the Emperor has been greatly reduced. As Mother of the Nation, one of her sons will lead the Empire as the next Emperor.

A rare occurrence in Tamora(for a noble): Alya has has allowed regular Tamorans to take pictures with her. Thousands of women waited for hours for a chance to take a picture with her and congratulate her.

While she will lead the nation for barely a day(until the Emperor returns home) she will remain Mother of the Nation for life. It remains to be seen how she will use this new title and what mark she will leave on the Empire.

As the Emperor returns home, he announces his successor

The Emperor of Tamora has returned from his trip to Royal Seleucid and has assumed back control of the Empire. After the formal ceremony in which he canceled the delegation of powers to his wife, which ruled the country in his absence,  he announced that he will name as successor his and Alya's eldest son thus ending the competition for his succession. Furthermore, according to tradition he also delegated to his wife the judicial power which and she will now also have the title of Supreme Justice of the Empire. The changes come as his wife, Alya, has been named by the Supreme Ayatollah as Mother of the Nation and as such it was expected that one of her sons will be chosen as successor and that she will begin to assume more functions of the Imperial administration and government.

Archeologists have discovered what they believe to be an ancient Rosary temple

An archeology group funded by the Manist Association of Attica has uncovered an ancient temple in the federated Kingdom of Attica. The group were hoping the temple would be a Manist one however it seems the temple is older than the Manist faith dating back at least to the IXth century AD but could be  much older than that. Since Attica has acces to the sea and has a long history of commerce via Sea of Kyne some have speculated that it might have been built by foreign merchants who traded with the local population but all of this is speculation at this point. Since the mission of the archeology group is to search for artifacts relating to the Manist faith, they have stopped working on unearthing the temple and are searching for potential partners that are willing to take over the project. If none are found, they will abandon the site as they have limited funds and their main mission is to better understand the history of the Manist faith. So far none of the religious organizations or philanthropists in Tamora have shown any interest in the find.

Four airforce pilots serving in Zimalia have been sanctioned

Four airforce pilots that were stationed in Zimalia have been sanctioned for behavior incompatible with Manist teachings, three of the men who missed daily prayers multiple times, skipped Sunday service and have  been reported for consuming alcohol while off duty have been reassigned to other positions in the Airfoce and will never be allowed to pilot again. The forth man has been dismissed from the Airforce for having committed adultery. The press officer for the Airforce has said:

"Our Airforce maintains a high moral standard and our pilots are required to respect the highest standards of the Armed forces. No matter where they are stationed the same standards apply. These sanctions do not affect our operations in Zimalia as all four pilots have been replaced already."

The Imperial Airforce has a squadron of 24 SU35 fighters stationed in Zimalia to help defend the Republic against foreign aggression.

Khayami company released its new model: the Dena

Khayami company released its new model: the Dena

TINS news anchor

Ten years after launching their current sedan, the Tamoran Khayami car manufacturer has launched its new model, the Dena. The new sedan features an up to date design, new improvements in safety, two new engines and five colors to choose from.
The new model was presented in the showroom at the company's HQ where most of the press and quite a few regular Tamorans was eager to hear the latest regarding the new model. As expected, the new Dena will have the standard price of ten thousand dinars (USD) , the same as the previous model.

Our local correspondent there had the chance to interview the company marketing director, imam Halami:

-So Mr. Halami, the long awaited Dena is finally out. How do you feel?
-We are cautiously optimistic, it's been a tough  year for us working at the company but if the new model sells well we should be fine.

-Tell us Mr. Halami, why should Tamorans buy the new model? Especially when considering foreign competition.
-As I always say during the sermons I give or whenever people ask me, Tamorans need to be conscientious about the choices they make when they buy a car or any foreign product for that matter. When buying foreign goods you are basically importing unemployment. You are choosing to give ten thousand dinars, the price of a car, to foreigners instead of giving them to fellow Tamorans. It's really that simple. And it's not the  Khayami, who own the company, that people should think about but the tens of thousands of workers the company employs.
This presentation that we organized here isn't just about the car but the community behind it" he stops and points to some of the panels showing medical facilities, schools and temples "during the over sixty years of company history, we have built over a dozen temples, two hospitals, seven clinics and nine schools. We have done this together, as Tamorans. The foreigners will simply take your money, give you the car and leave. They don't care about Tamora and why should they? They aren't Tamorans.

Spoiler: presentation of the new Dena • show

Tamorans seemed interested in the new Dena

Some of the stories of the thousands of Tamorans working in the company factories were featured at the presentation

Also presented at the launch were the staff working for one of the women only hospitals built and funded by the Khayami family

A regular class from one of the schools funded by the Khayami family

All the temples built by the Khayami family are in rural areas of Tamora

Our local corespondent gave a big thumbs to the Dena up after a drive test

-You mentioned you went through a tough time this year. Could you please explain a bit more about what happened?
- As you know, the company has had some issues for some time now and when the Lodjans and Paracambi stopped buying from us literally overnight, we lost a lot. We had to return down payments for the ordered cars, all the money we invested in building a network of dealerships was gone and we lost our two main export markets which, although only have some ten percent of our total sales, mattered a lot when you're not in the best of shape as a company.

-I noticed you didn't say anything about Rokkenjima and their sanctions. Why is that?
-That's because we never sold cars there. Rokkenjma, East Moreland and other very rich countries have very sophisticated and demanding customers as well as an incredibly high standards imposed by their governments. We couldn't even dream of entering those markets with our previous models. Now Paracambi and Lodja have definitely more demanding customers than us but they aren't as demanding  as the very rich countries of Mundus.

-So tell us a bit about who ordered the car so far? Who bought the first Dena?
-Unlike in previous models, the first Dena won't be going to the Supreme Allyatolah but to our Lady Alya, the Mother of the Nation. She made the first pre order as soon as it was available. We have also had Lady Musaevna preordered some 10 cars as did quite a few very important people of Tamora.

-Ten cars?
-Yes, from what i understand she wants to start a program to help bring our elders, who have trouble moving around, to temple service on Sundays. Since both me and you are quite young it's hard for us to imagine the sadness some of our elders feel because they cannot attend temple service, so I am very grateful she has thought of this.

-You told us a about your rough times, what was the best moment you experienced while working on the model?
-By far the moment that touched me the most was when the employees of the factory contacted me and said that they found a way to help sell the car. So every week, for a moth now,  every Sunday, after temple services thousands of employees and their families distributed leaflets advertising the new model. After a year of very hard work and long hours, after taking a pay cut following the embargoes they still pulled together to help the business and make the new model a success. It is acts like these that make me proud of being Tamoran.

-Any chances the new model will be sold aboard?
-I don't know, I am reasonably optimistic that Zimalia's legislature will remove the tariffs on our goods and thus open the market for us. A market which i believe is more interested in affordability than fancy gadgets. However, after taking such a loss with Lodja and Paracambi I don't know if the company can afford another venture aboard. I guess it will all depend on how well the new model will sell.

- Talking about fancy gadgets. It's no secret that the new car, although a good choice for Tamorans, is one which offers little thrills. Can you tell us some of the complaints you got about the new Dena.
-"Oh, wow. I could talk a bit about that"  he says smiling "It's not the perfect car that's for sure. One potential customer complained the car doesn't go faster than 120 miles per hour. So I retorted by asking where do you need to go with that speed? You have a wife and kids or at least you should if you're old enough to drive , think about their safety but also about not leaving your wife a widow. But the funniest of criticism was from someone who complained we don't have some fancy yellow color that he saw on some expensive Morelander car. So I told him that I am more than willing to help him to paint the car yellow after temple service. Lack of yellow is hardly a reason to give foreigners your money I would say.

-How has the public reacted to news of the car so far?
-So far everyone was very supportive, the press and I like to thank TINS here but also others from the press, my fellow Imans which helped spread the word but also regular people who kept sharing the news on social media and tagging our products. To all of you, I thank you for doing what the Prophet has thought us.

-Thank you for being with us.
-Thank you.

Nation in shock as the High court of Altai upholds burqa/niqab ban

Nation in shock as the High court of Altai upholds burqa/niqab ban in government buildings

TINS news anchor

This morning, the High court of the federated Kingdom of Altai has issued its opinion of the government ban of the burqa/niqab in government buildings. The 5 judges ruled 3-2 that the kingdom and its constituent subdivisions are allowed to ban the burqa/niqab in government buildings. The three Muslim judges of the court all ruled in favor of the ban while the two Manist judges dissented. This despite the fact the plaintiff was a Muslim woman and the burqa/niqab are not used by Manists. The  judges argued that in an increasingly globalised Mundus, security concerns outweigh the religious freedom of the woman. The court cited the Borlander terrorist attacks as a prime example of the new type of threat the government now faces and have said that wearing the burqa/niqab is an individual choice and since it is not mandatory , the government does not need to make accommodations for it.

Despite the fact that the official religion of federated Kingdom of Altai is Islam, the Muslim community remained sharply divided on the issue. Some prominent members of the Muslim community supported the court's decisions while others called it an unfortunate development.  The Manist community of Altai was however united in its support of the woman who was fined for wearing the burqa. All Manists dukes have issues statements saying that in their dukedoms the burqa will be permitted in government buildings and have urged the king of Altai to not make the decision of the court binding.

The whole day the kingdom and the whole nation waited for the decision of the King of Altai on the matter. Later in the evening the King has issued a statement that because of the ample implications of the case he has decided not issue a decision and instead has moved the case to the Supreme Judge of Tamora, Alya Safavid. The move is most unusual as kings rarely ask for the highest of Imperial judges to issue opinions on cases relating to the internal affairs of the kingdoms. All Manists ministers of the king's government resigned in protest of the decision, calling it a failure to take responsibility.
The nation now waits for the ruling of the Supreme Judge of the Empire.  We can only pray that our newly named Mother of the Nation will uphold the traditions of the Empire.

Unfiltered internet still a problem in Tamora: almost a third of Tamoran households use the unfiltered internet

After decades in which the Manist Church and other religious organizations have promoted the use of various internet filters, still 30% of households choose to use the internet without any filters at all. While the percentage has dropped from the 33% that used to have unfiltered internet ten years ago, many in the Manist Church say that there needs to be a double down on the efforts to convince regular Tamorans of the harm the internet can do when leaving it unchecked.

The most popular filter households choose remains the one that bans inappropriate and deviant content from the internet with 35% of households choosing this option. This remains unchanged from then years when the same percentage of households also used this type of filter.

The other, more strict variant of filter, that blocks deviant and inappropriate content from the intent but also content that is unTamoran, consisting of attacks on our values and traditions, has seen a sharp drop in usage to 10% of households from the 20% it had ten years ago.

Tamorans in increasing numbers are choosing what has been called the Tamoran Internet. A national network which in closed off from the regular internet.  27 % of the households use the Tamoran internet now compared with 10% ten years ago. The Tamoran Internet has taken off in the last few years as it was heavily promoted by the Manist Church and Tamoran businesses have adapted many of the popular social networks to it.

As expected, the preference for the filters varies greatly across the Empire, depending on religious affiliation as well as urban vs rural residence. The Manists are by far the most likely to choose filtered internet as are the rural areas. A major exception to this is Djeb, which although is the Empire's largest city, the residents have opted for the filtered internet well above the average, with almost 50% choosing the Tamoran internet and less than 10 % going for the unfiltered version.

Minor corporate noble leaves his entire fortune to the Manist Church of the Imperial Enclave

Hassan Rouhani, a minor corporate noble, which recently passed away has had his will opened and the lawyers have confirmed that the testament provides for 90% of his wealth , estimated to be worth some 1,2 bln dinars (USD), to be given to the Manist Church of the Imperial Enclave. Hassan, a devout Manist, which never had any kids or married has also provided in his will that all his slaves, numbering some 500 souls, are to be freed and are to share among themselves assets worth over 100 million dinars. This is the largest single donation the Manist Church has received in more than ten years.

Spoiler:  Hassan Rouhani • show

Hassan Rouhani, who died at the age of 82, also served in the Imperial Armny and took part in the War for the annexation of Attica, sixty years ago.

Hassan 's Imam has said that the Manist Church will build a temple and two schools which will bear his name. Furthermore, the schools will have a mandatory one hour per week of studying the life and family history of Hassan Rouhani as well as praying for him. The Imam said that this way the memory of Hassan will leave on forever.

Rosary Church to fund the archaeological operations at the newly discovered Rosary temple

The Manist association of Attica has confirmed that they will be leasing the archaeological site to the Rokkenjima Embassy for a period of ten years for a sum of one hundred thousand dinars (USD) which are meant to cover the costs associated with the works undertaken so far. According to Imperial law foreigners are not allowed to own property in Tamoran and therefore the leasing was used as an alternative. A new local archeology team will take over the project which sources say has already received funding from the Rosary Church to continue their work until presumably Rokkenjiman archaeologists will take over the project should they find the initial findings promising. The local government has issued no objections to the operations calling them a matter outside of the jurisdiction of the government and of such have no interest in it.

The Manist association of Attica has chosen its first Grand Ayatollah

The Manist temple parishes of the federated kingdom of Attica have chosen their first Grand Ayatollah signaling the a new phase in the growth and maturity  of the Manist Church as an established institution. The new Grand Ayatollah will be a member of the Supreme Council of Djerb alongside the four other Grand Ayatollahs and the Supreme Ayatollah.

Tamora dominates the shooting competition at the Mundus Games

Tamora's long tradition of owning guns and having some of the mot permissible guns laws in Mundus has allowed our athletes to dominate the shooting completion. A fitting example of the was the men's 50m Rifle Prone where Tamoran athletes won all three medals.

70 year old Imam walks 200 miles to ask for the release from serfdom of one of Tamora's gold winning athletes

A 70 years old Imam from the federated kingdom of Akkar has traveled by foot more than 200 miles to meet the master of Yalda  Karimi, a Tamoran woman that won the gold medal at the Mundus games.  Yalda was born a serf and has made headlines in Tamora after winning gold at shooting competition at the Mundus Games. The 70 years old imam said the Yalda was a daughter  of Tamora and as such felt the need to appeal to her master for her release from serfdom. Yalda's master agreed to release her saying he was moved by the gesture of the Imam and Yalda 's achievements .

Sanity returns to Tamora: the burqa/niqab ban is overturned

TINS news anchor

Yesterday evening the king of the federated kingdom of Altai had asked Alya, the Supreme Judge of Tamora (SJT), to review a law banning the burqa/niqab in government buildings and this morning the STJ had already issued her ruling stating the burqa/niqab ban contradicts the Book of Mani and the system of government left in place by the Prophet.

The fact that the ruling came so soon shows the level of gravity of this case and its implications for the wider society. In detailing her opinion, SJT explained that religion and public display of religious symbols are at the core of what it means to be Tamoran. She also went on the criticize the decision of the lower court, which stated that security concerns outweighed the religious freedom of the woman who wore the burqa, by arguing that the freedoms and government prescribed in the book of the Prophet are "eternal and unchanging". She further argued that the idea that somehow kings can infringe on the established religious freedoms of Tamorans is a foreign influence that should be cast aside in Tamora's justice system.

SJT didn't stop there and went to say that the High court of Altai was wrong in ruling that just because wearing the burqa is an individual choice that somehow diminishes the responsibility of the government in accommodating her and argued that while it is an individual choice one cannot choose to take of the burqa without greatly disturbing her conscience as well as her place in the family and her community, as "one cannot take of the burqa off as if taking off a hat when entering a public building".

The opinion also delved into the moral implication of the ruling of the lower court by saying they have mentioned "security" over twenty times in their opinion, often emphasizing the need for security in the current global environment. The Supreme judge however said that such overwhelming preoccupation with security is a sign of lack of faith because for a religious person, death, although undesirable, is not the end but a new beginning. Security, although a very important aspect, remains a secondary concern to pleasing God and worshiping Him.

At the end of her written opinion she also lambasted the king of Altai for failing to rule on the issue saying that had shown the meekness of a slave rather than the leadership expected of a king of Tamora. Adding that it is hard to believe that he is the descendant of the once great kings of Altai that fought toe to toe with Tamora in the times of the Prophet.
SJT's ruling also carried the signature of the Emperor making it immediately binding in the entire Empire. It also provided for an unprecedented one million dinars (USD) to be provided as compensation to the Muslim women for the trouble she went through.

Political analysts lauded the decision on the SJT as well as the arguments presented by her with one analyst saying that "one could almost feel the frustration of SJT having to explain why water is wet, Mundus round and why Tamorans can and always will be able to express publicly their faith."

The Grand Ayatollah of the federated kingdom of Altai was quick to point that the "Muslim woman didn't win now but when she chose to follow God by wearing the burqa rather give up. The ruling of today simply sets things straight."

Spontaneous demonstrations in support of the ruling took place all over Tamora, with the largest taking place in the Imperial Enclave. In Djerb alone 150 thousand people took to the streets to celebrate the ruling with many chanting the name of Alya (the SJT) and as way to thank her for her ruling.

Spoiler:  Tamorans celebrating the overturn of the ban • show

In Djerb (the capital of Tamora) around 150 thousand took to the street to celebrate.  Many choose to shout Alya's name to thank her for the ruling. Also, as usual, the Tamoran imperial anthem was sang many times thought the say.

Those in attendance chose to celebrate and show their support in different ways:

Some by taking a selfie.

Others by praying.

But most just by being happy for the victory.

But the shortest and most powerful message came from the Supreme Ayatollah which in just four words explained what many Tamorans including us at TINS felt:"Sanity returns to Tamora!"

Huge increase in traffic at the border with Royal Seleucid

Ever since Paracambi, Lodja, Rokkenjima and others have sanctioned us, we have seen a substantial increase in traffic at the border with Royal Seleucid. Border control agents says that more and more Tamoran goods are being sent to Royal Seleucid. Extra personnel has been hired and existing employees have worked overtime but still can't cope with the increase in traffic. Border control is also in talks with the Royal Seleucid border control to open two new check points and so far it seems they would be willing to do that as they understand the situation and the need for them.

New focus on infrastructure coordination announced at the first council of kings meeting of this year

The kings of Tamora were summed by the Emperor for the first time this year. After consultation, the Imperial press office has announced a new coordination strategy for infrastructure. The aim of the new strategy is to better take advantage of Tamora's geographic position in the center of Cotf Arange continent by shortening the time it takes for goods to be transported form Nord to South and vice versa. The press officer said:

"Tamora is in the middle of the continent. If goods need to be transported from the Gulf of Safraen to Sea of Kyne is only needs to go through Tamora and Vanora, with roughly two thirds of it being in Tamora, rather go around the continent by sea. The first phase is for Tamora to identify what it can improve in its infrastructure so that Tamora can be transited as fast and as easily as possible. After that is done we can then maybe coordinate with Vanora on the matter so that the whole route is adequately served. Only after we put our house in order we can talk to others. We would are also interested in contacting Royal Seleucid and see how we can coordinate with them on the matter."

Sources say that the initial plan is not to engage in new massive construction projects but rather identify solutions to reduce traffic congestion, extend existing roads where necessary, increase speed limit where appropriate and maybe designate a lane for the transporting of cargo.

DJerb Fashion show took place this week

Djerb Fashion show, the most important fashion event in Tamora, took place this week. The show was organized and funded, as in previous years, by the Manist Temple Association of Djerb and hosted in the complex of the Great Temple of Djerb. The women only fashion show saw designers from all the kingdoms of Tamora present their creations with those designed by Musaevna Kadyrov  being reserved for the main event.
The show had over a thousand people in attendance, the wives and daughters of some of the most important people in Tamora. Without a doubt the most attendees were Alya, the Mother of the Nation and Princess Tekla of Royal Seleucid which attended such a show in Tamora for the first time.

New movie release Silence set to break all attendance records

New movie release Silence set to break all attendance records

TINS news anchor

Samira Hanifnejad's latest movie, Silence, has touched a nerve in Tamoran society with millions waiting in line to see the movie. The movie details of the plight of Slavans of Tamoran decedent that are now detained and had their assets seized by the Slavan government. The movie has been released at a time of great tension between the two countries as the Slavan government has yet to show any sign of compromise on the issue despite massive protests in the entire Tamoran Empire.

Samira said she felt the need to make such a film to help spread the word about what's happening in Slava and that ever since the Slavan crisis started she can hardly sleep at night. The movie was funded by various patrons among them being Alya Safavid, Musaevna Kadyrov, but also various Manist Religious organizations. A large part of the money from the sale of tickets will go to MIACHD in order to help combat anti Tamoran hate and discrimination.

We will show you now a short trailer about the movie:

Spoiler: Silence movie trailer • show

The movie starts by presenting life of Tamorans living Medak, a town in Slava Lavosk, near the border the Tamoran border that has a large minority of ethnic Tamorans. Dilara Haghighi is shown going to school, praying and keep true to her Tamoran heritage when all hell breaks loose.

Literally overnight, the 16 years old high school student is thrown in prison. The movies shows the detention center from afar, in the background can be heard the authentic voices of Slavans screaming "Prosecute, prosecute!" and then the Slavan tribunal judge condemning Dilara to death for " insurrection, treason and human trafficking". The movie now switches to black and white to better transmit to viewers the feeling of the complete change Tamorans in Slava experienced as well a feeling of bleakness and desperation.

The trailer then proceeds to show the father of Dilara,Khalid Haghighi, which after clearly having been tortured for days gives a statement condemning his daughter.

The Slavan President is shown in the movies giving his famous speeches and having the stern, merciless, anti Tamoran determination and even admitting publicly about what Slava's government is doing:
"Some Tamorans are being held in clean, secure detention centers until the scope of the charges against them can be determined and criminal proceedings begun."

The last 60 seconds sees the movies return to color and showing the real mother of Dilara saying one of the ancient women only Manist prayers. The prayer, as is prescribed, is a wailing to God for the hardships endured by her family, the reiteration to continue to submit to His will without question or exception and to promise Him that all the misery will stop once Tamorans rise as one against their enemies. The ancient prayer traces it roots to the early days of Tamora, when many families were constantly ravaged by the Kingdom of Altai. One thousand years later, the prayer is needed now as much as it was then since only the name of the enemies of Tamora have changed as their actions have remained the same.

The distributor of the film has said that foreign markets can use the movie without paying any royalties or assuming any other financial obligation on two conditions: to not have the movie interrupted by commercials of any kind and to not censor, cut or dubbed the prayer at the end of the movie.

The federated kingdom of West Seleucid celebrates Festival of Water

Anahitaists from all over West Seleucid, lead by the royal family and the High priestess there, celebrated the most important holiday of Anahitaism. It is a time when many pray and contemplate on the on the beginning of life and how to eradicate what Anahitaists call the Five Great Evils: poverty, hunger, thirst, homelessness and loneliness.  Some chose to go on a religious pilgrimage to Royal Seleucid to attended the festival in Ipsus as well as make offering to the Shrine there.
However, not everyone in West Seleucid was happy about the holiday. As in previous years, in the more traditionalist dukedoms of West Seleucid, all running water was stopped for 24 hours and that annoyed the non  Anahitaist communities. The speaker for the Manist Association of West Seleucid said that while he understands the importance the holiday has for Anahitaists in both countries and welcomes public displays of religion as a sign of a healthy society and an honest religion. He nevertheless, does not understand why Anahitaists here feel the need to be more Anahitaist than those in Royal Seleucid and cut off all running water for 24 hours. He said that he understand fasting, as Manist do it too several times a year but the lack of running water remains a major annoyance.

Report says most mixed marriages in Tamora take place in the federated kingdom West Seleucid

While marriages between Tamorans and non Tamorans are extremely rare, they do exist and most of them take place in West Seleucid. Unsurprisingly, Tamoran -Seleucid marriages are the most common of these marriages. This is explained by the fact that West Seleucid and Royal Seleucid share both language, religion and a border which helps create bonds across the border. Aside from that, it is also cultural aspects that make families from the two sides of the border decide to become relatives, for in both countries parents take responsibility and care of their children's future by arranging marriages from an young age rather than let inexperienced youth to their own devices to search for years for suitable partners wasting precious time that could be used to settle down and increase the family numbers. Also, since both countries are closed to foreign investment, these mixed marriages provide a "gateway" for parents to invest in the other country.
Some analysts predict that mixed marriages between the two countries will only increase in the future as the two countries develop ever closer relations.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Men need to do more to protect Tamorans in Slava Lavosk

Men need to do more to protect Tamorans in Slava Lavosk says Alya in her first sermon

TINS news anchor

At the Great Temple in Djerb, in her fist sermon since receiving the title Mother of the nation, Alya praised the women of Tamora for the strength of their faith and the determination with which they defend the faith, traditions and heritage in the face of great adversity adding that it is no accident that the Slavan government has sentenced to death a Tamoran minor, Dilara Haghighi,  for her unrelenting display and defense of her Tamoran heritage.  However, the Mother of the Nation, said that the women of Tamora can only do so much and it's time for the men of Tamora to take a forceful stance if we are to see the Slavan government yield on the issue.

Alya also praised the Church's mission in Zimalia saying the Prophet would be proud his word has reached so far. She also mentioned that six Zimalian children and their families which came to the Great Temple to pray and has thanked for coming from so far away.

The last nightclub in Djeb closes its doors

The last nightclub that was operating in Djerb has finally closed. The club opened more than thirty years ago when two businessmen for the federated kingdom of Akkar had brought the concept to Djerb. The establishment proved to be very popular and in less than five years more than ten such establishments were open all over Djerb. The clubs were notorious for the use of inappropriate behavior, promotion and use of alcohol, lack of modesty and display of deviant behavior. It is for this reason that the many local parishes banded together to fight the malign influence of these establishments. It has been a long battle and initially it seemed like the nightclubs would never go away from Djerb but perseverance has paid off after more almost three decades of struggle.

The Imam that started the movement celebrated at his temple and said "It is a great day for Djerb and for Tamora." He explained that what happened today is the result of decades of hard work in raising awareness of the issue and the harm these establishment do but also boycotting, protesting etc. He further added that the recent advances in technology was the nail in the coffin for the nightclub as many young faithful monitored who was attending such establishments, tagging them of social media, especially on the Tamoran internet, and asking their families, imams and employers if such behavior is appropriate and accepted by them. "It was amazing to see how quickly the clubs lost their patrons once people posted online pictures of those attending" said the Imam.

Unfortunately, while the club closed its doors in Djerb it will not leave Tamora as the owners have announced they will be relocating to the federated kingdom of Akkar.

As Paracambi tries to exert control of a Bekkermayan island, economic analysts are worried of the impact on the Mundus economy

The small nation of Paracambi, after boycotting Tamora, now engages in terrorism in Bakkermaya by staging  an armed revolt against the authorities and declaring independence. Considering the skill and bravery for which the Paracambi are known it is of little surprise that the Bakkermayan authorities have pacified the "rebels" in a couple of hours.

While Paracambi and their terrorist cells are unlikely to be much of a threat, economic analysts in Tamora estimate that on the short term the price of oil is likely to increase and some shipping lanes might be diverted from the region if tensions continue to escalate and further violence takes place. If the crises continues the same analysts estimate the Mundus economy is likely to suffer even further after being already hit quite hard by the Borlanders terrorists attacks. While a higher prices of oil will help Tamora, a Mundus economy that is further affected will likely affect our exports worldwide.

A new competition becomes viral on the internet: test the blasphemy tolerance

The unfiltered internet has shown its toxicity once again as this week a new "competition" went viral where viewers were encouraged to test the blasphemy tolerance in each country by doing the most vulgar and insulting acts to the most cherished religious symbols. While it is unclear where this insane idea started or what the purpose it serves, it has nevertheless polluted the minds of some Tamorans who, after watching such shows, have decided to try and test the blasphemy tolerance in Tamora. This was usually done by high school or university students who somehow thought it was fun and educational to do some of the most outrageous things to our religious symbols. Predictably, their actions did not go unnoticed and most of the students were expelled from their schools and parishes and in most cases their parents also lost their jobs. However, in one particular case( a man living on the federated kingdom of Akkar) all the pressure by the local community yielded no results as the man involved in the blasphemy act was a freelancer relying on work from abroad. No amount of protesting or even threats could make the man relent his constant blasphemy of the Prophet in the most outrageous way. The local duke himself visited the man but with little result.

So during the week tragedy struck as during the night an enlisted member of the Imperial Army broke into the house of the blasphemer and murdered him, his wife and their two children. The victims were all shot in the head. Afterwards the enlisted man turned himself in to the authorities and confessed his crimes. He was transferred into the custody of the Imperial Army which quickly organized a trial. During the trail the man confessed again to his crimes and showed no remorse for his actions, saying he was motivated by the blasphemy done by the victim. He was found guilty on all counts and sentenced to death by firing squad which took place the same day. Sources say the Imperial army handled the issue as quickly as possible as to not give a chance for the trial and conviction to become a reason for public debate.

The enlisted man was also dishonorably discharged and his family of one wife and five children will not receive any benefits from the Army. Furthermore, it seems that further hardships await his family as the local Imam has expelled them from the parish and has refused to accept the body for burial in the parish cemetery.

After such a tragic incident we here at TINS can only say this: use the filtered internet and do not slander the Prophet.

Silence breaks records in attendance and gross income in the first week

The Silence movie written and direct by Samira Hanifnejad has broken all Tamoran records of attendance: over 6 million people have seen the movie this week earning almost 20 million dinars (USD). If the trend continues it is likely to be become the highest earning domestic film and have the highest attendance. Film critics from all of the six federated kingdoms have praised the movie for the atmosphere it manages to create but also the message it carries. Some of those who were lucky enough to get a ticket and see it have said the movie has touched them deeply reminding them of what it means to be Tamoran: faith and solidarity.

The speaker for the Manist Association of Tamora (MAT) has stated that aside from the powerful message of the film, they also hope that this will further strengthen the domestic film production of Tamora. The movie industry has long been dominated by foreign movies and despite an increase in both number of attendees and number of domestic movies, they still only hold a 40% share of the market in Tamora. MAT hopes the new generation of film directors and actors will manage to offer the Tamoran public more movies so that they are less inclined to watch foreign movies that "do not promote our values, culture and religion and are often times hostile to them" and added "that our ancestors have left us a treasure of culture and traditions that are waiting to be put on screen and it is a pity that so much of our time and money are spent watching other nations' movies."

Spoiler: Tamorans waiting to see the Silence movie • show

No foreign movie, no matter how large its budget, can make us Tamorans to wait in line for hours to see it:

Those who waited said the movie was worth it.

Why are our languages so rich and diverse?

Whatever our native language may be, whether it is Parthian, Seleucid, Lurish, Kurdish or any other. We know just how diverse our languages can be. It is often easy to tell from what place a person is just by the vocabulary he uses or the spelling he chooses in his writing. Parents take care in choosing schools for their children that adhere to the version of the language that they and their grandparents also used. But as much as we love our language particularities, not everyone is happy with them. Some from the foreign business community in Tamora, most of them from Royal Seleucid, have said they have a hard time adapting to so much diversity in language and often wonder why we do not have a more unified system for the languages we use.

So we here at TINS have contacted various experts to try and explain what makes us different. The answer was almost unanimous: the lack of a public school system, national curriculum, national exams and a formal institution to regulate the language. They compared the Seleucid of Tamora with that of Royal Seleucid and have determined that the public school system in Royal Seleucid is the main reason for the standardization of their language. They also noticed that our Seleucid language resembles more the Seleucid of rural RS which, because their public school system has yet to be enforced there, remains much more diverse and connected to the language their ancestors spoke.

So dear viewers, when you do your daily prayers you could also consider our beautiful diversity of language another reason to thank God you are Tamoran.

"The faith knows no borders"

"The faith knows no borders" stated Crown Prince Hadi of Royal Seleucid after appointing the 28 year old Cassiopeia Vasilakis from Tamora as his personal spiritual adviser. Duke Nikos Vasilakis, from the federated Kingdom of Western Seleucid, has said that he is deeply honored to have his daughter serve at the RS Royal House. Adding that we he always tried to instill  in his family a strict adherence to Anahitaism and that seems to have paid off nothing that once again "Faith brings us together, it doesn't divide us!"

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Lodja eases its grip on its business community
« Reply #37 on: October 09, 2018, 10:08:37 PM »
As East Moreland's influence over Lodja grows, Lodja releases its grip on its business community

TINS news anchor

We here at TINS have analyzed in detail the sorry state of the Lodjan state and have presented the huge and ever growing influence of East Moreland over Lodja. We like to give credit where is due, thanks to that influence, Lodja had no choice but to cave in and relax the restriction it put on their business community and allow their people to buy goods from us. Think of how sad that is, they have allowed their people to buy our goods. Of course they haven't given their people the freedom to buy what they want, the Lodjan government will allow their people to buy goods from Tamora only as long as those goods have the Freestone mark. Viewers will not be shocked to learn that the Freestone group is from East Moreland. The Lodjans have also indicated they will give preferential treatment to those goods that bear that mark giving them the same status as fair trade goods (lower tariffs).

Of course, the Lodjans couldn't resist criticizing our press and have said that they bear no ill will against us Tamorans. So if you work for a business that has been affected by their sanctions, remember: they did that even though they bear no ill towards you. Just imagine what they would do if they didn't like you.
So thank you East Moreland for easing the sanctions that Lodja put on Tamora. Your influence there is hardly a positive one, but when you do good, we admit and praise you for it, East Moreland!

Rokkenjima lifts sanctions on Tamora after state visit
OOC: This happened some time ago but i didn't have time to announce it. Rokkenjima did not lift the sanction now, in the middle of the current crisis.

The Empress of Rokkenjima attended the parade alongside our Emperor and the kings and queens of Tamora

Empress Beatrice has visited Tamora ,assisted at a military parade and had a private meeting with the Emperor. After the meeting Rokkenjiman authorities have lifted all remaining sanctions on Tamora though all Tamoran goods exported to Rokenjima will have to have informed consumer label stating if the goods are made with/sourced from slave labor.

As per tradition, the Emperor did not comment on the visit. The Imperial press office gave a brief statement saying that the lifting a sanctions is a reset in relations and trust building is now the new aim which, for its part, Tamora will work towards it.

The business community of Tamora praised the lifting of sanctions but were also cautious of any potential "readjustments" what my come from Rokkenjima.

The Orthodox Bishops of the federated kingdom of Vojvodina issued statement about the recent announcement of bishop Vasic

The eight Orthodox bishops of the federated kingdom of Vojvodina have issued a joint statement:

"We welcome Bishop Vasic's unprecedented unification of the Church. Bishop Vasic has been a voice of reason in a very confused world. We see the work of the Holy Spirit in his passionate sermons and it seems not just us, the Orthodox, have felt his calling but also the Catholics of Slava Lavosk.
Therefore, we, the bishops of Vojvodina, unanimously and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit ask with humility for Bishop Vasic to accept us in his Church. A Slavic Orthodox Church that will not be divided by borders".

The Catholic bishops of the federated Kingdoms react to the recent attacks against Pope Peter II

The twelve Catholic Bishops of Attica have meet and issued a joint statement following the decision of the Catholic of Slava Lavosk to join Bishop Vasic. They have stated that their decision was a grave error which most likely was not motivated by moral or theological reasons but political ones. They have also urged the Catholics of Slava to not follow their bishops but the Holy See. Furthermore, in an effort to give hope to the Catholics of Slava that want to adhere to the " one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church" a campaign to reach them will be started immediately:

- A news radio station, a TV Station and social media channel will be launched in the Slavic language so that the Catholic faithful in Slava Lavosk can hear mass from Catholic priests and not schismatic ones.
- All Catholic priests of Slava that do not wish to follow their bishops and are afraid of reprisals are welcomed to Tamora. They are priests of the same Church and will be welcomed. There will be much need of them since Catholic priests who speak Slavan are in short supply and they are needed for the planed radio and TV stations.
- All Catholics of Slava are encouraged to resist the decision of their bishops and stay true to the Catholic Church of Celestis. The local Catholic Church of Attica will do its best to help them escape Slava Lavosk should they want to.

Furthermore the same bishops also addressed the "erroneous opinions of Cardinal Martin Deed". We here at TINS do not have that much interest in Catholic debates so we will give only a couple of fragments:

"Cardinal Deed has spent a lot of time talking about the unconditional love of God and none about His commandments, what pleases Him and what He asks of us. It seems he has forgotten that God is at the core of our faith."
"It saddens us to hear a member of our Church talk about evolving faith and antiquated texts while at the same time mentioning that slavery was accepted in antiquity, the Ardian Empire and Royal Seleucid. Surely, the practice of slavery was just as immoral then as it is now but using Cardinal Deed's reasoning one might be forgiven for thinking that is was morally right to advocate for slavery back then just because it was accepted by society."
"But perhaps what upsets us the most was that the Cardinal chose to criticize the Pope in public, in front of the world rather than debate the issue face to face, in private, with the Pope. While we in no way believe or suggest the Cardinal did this for personal gain or fame, others who have less faith in the Cardinal might be tempted to think so."
"We stand behind Pope Peter II and urge all Catholic around the world to do the same".

The Queen of Attica also issues a statement in support of the Pope, praised the Catholic bishops of Attica for the defense of the faith and has said that Cardinal Deed's sermon does not sound like what she was been thought by her church and what it is written in the Catechism of the Church which Cardinal Deed, as bishop, certainly adheres to:

""The Roman Pontiff, head of the college of bishops, enjoys this infallibility in virtue of his office, when, as supreme pastor and teacher of all the faithful - who confirms his brethren in the faith he proclaims by a definitive act a doctrine pertaining to faith or morals. . The infallibility promised to the Church is also present in the body of bishops when, together with Peter's successor, they exercise the supreme Magisterium," above all in an Ecumenical Council."*

We here at TINS, with all due respect, are glad we are not Christian and that our imams read and preach what is written in the Book of Mani and not their opinions or ideas.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

*quote from the Catechism.

The King of Seaforth steals the money of Tamorans
« Reply #38 on: October 11, 2018, 09:42:07 PM »
The King of Seaforth steals the money of Tamorans and gives them to the Freestone Abolitionist Society(FAS)

TINS news anchor

In a shocking move, the King of Seaforth has decided to punish Tamorans for living according to their laws and practices. Whether he was short on cash or just full of hate against us is unclear but the fact remains that he has frozen assets of approx 35 million dinars(USD) of Tamorans who were unfortunate enough to have business in Seaforth. We present below some of the damages the king thief has done:

Arezoo Hadini holding her only child

Arezoo Hadini was in Searforth together with her son for medical treatment. Because Seaforth has better medical facilities than Tamora she thought that by going there she would give her critically ill son a better chance to survive. She and her husband worked long hours to raise the money for the operation, they sold everything they had and got as many loans as the banks would give them so they could raise the one thousand dinars (USD) for the operation.

She and her son where in Seaforth when King Andrew III froze her assets, the 100 hundred thousand dinars she and her husband worked so hard to raise. And if that wasn't enough, because she couldn't pay the hospital in Seaforth her son's operation would have had to be rescheduled, greatly lowering his chances for survival. Arezoo recalls the moment when she heard the news and said she was "devastated". She went to the bank and lady there informed her that she would have to provide proof the money were not from "slave origin". An impossibly since Arezoo was a teacher at a Manist school that owned slaves like many schoosl do in our country. Though Arezoo never owned any slaves herself she was now punished for being Tamoran.

It was only though the extra human efforts of MIACHD  and the Tamoran embassy in Seaforth that she could pay the doctors the next day. MIACHD immediately raised the funds and the Tamoran embassy made the necessary arrangements so the payment could be processed.
We are happy to announce that according to the recent information, the operation was a success and that Arezoo's son is likely to make a full recovery.
Arezoo said this about the whole ordeal:
"I thank God for giving me the strength to go through this thing. My son is well and that is all that matters. All I want now is for my son to get well enough so he can travel back home." She also stated she greatly fears that more punitive measure against Tamorans will follow in Seaforth and she is eager to get her son home safely. She also said that King Andrew III can keep her money if he just lets her and her son go back home.

Kaveh Lajani student at the School of Engineering, in Eventide, Seaforth

Kaveh Lajani, student at the School of Engineering, in Eventide, Seaforth was also affected by King Andrew III  decree. Kaveh had all his money in his account frozen. He has yet to manage to get the bank to reverse their decision. He said that after this incident he has decided to return home and give up on continuing his studies in Seaforth because of fear of further reprisals. "My parents were right, I should never have gone to Seaforth. Foreigners don't like us and sooner or later they will take actions against us." he said.  Kaheh is not resentful towards Seaforth saying that King Andrew III, though loved and respected by his people, in the end does not necessary represent all of Seaforth and that he is grateful for being so close to seeing his dream come true: "I came to Seaforth in the hope of working in Rhodesia underwater city. I was fascinated by the project the moment I read about. I know some people dream of going to space but for me, personally  I always wanted to work and live in an underwater city. I guess I should be honest with myself and admit that even if I had graduated here I would still have had a very little chance to work there."

Kaveh will return to Tamora in the following week but in the meantime he walks around Eventide , a city that fascinated him ever since he arrived in Seaforth. "For me at least, Eventide is as breathtaking today as it was the first time I saw it. I so going to miss this place".

The small Tamoran community living in Seaforth has also been affected by the freezing of assets. Some of them are considering moving back to Tamora for fear of further hardships ahead. However, since some of them have already married locals and have kids, leaving Seaforth is no easy thing.

In case you were wondering what did King Adrew II aka Andrew the Thief did with he money he stole from Tamorans, we'll tell you: he gave them to the Freestone hate group.

Alya, the Mother of the Nation, comes to the help of Tamorans that have been robbed by "King" Andrew III

The Mother of the Nation has announced that she will personally cover the cost associated with the freezing of assets declared by "King" Andrew III and has called his decision unprecedented, harmful for Tamorans and with long lasting effects.
However, while the Tamorans affected will get their money back thanks to Alya. The stress they endured cannot be compensated and the effects of the recently announced ban on Tamoran goods(expect for those bearing the Freestone mark) will be felt in the Tamoran economy.

Alya Safavid issues stark criticism of Freestone Abolitionist Society (FAS)

In a short interview Alya gave to TINS, she talked about the unprecedented actions of Seafoth and how those relate to Freestone Abolitionist Society (FAS). We will present the highlights of that interview:

-And how would you describe King Andrew's decision to freeze Tamoran assets in Seaforth?
-Arrogant, rash and with no regard for the implications of such an act.

-Arrogant?
-Yes, it has the arrogance of rich, wealth nations telling poorer ones how to manage their internal affairs. It also has the foul of self righteousness in it, that he can do no wrong and that he's certain that he is 100% right on the issue and that we, Tamorans, are wrong in something that concerns us, our laws and our traditions.

-What advice would you give to Tamorans living abroad?
-Just as the government said, Tamorans living in Seaforth should strongly consider returning home. Furthermore, any Tamoran living abroad also should consider returning home. It has become increasingly unsafe for them in more and more countries.

-What is next? What is the government doing?
-We are currently monitoring the activities of the Freestone group. The reputable MIACHD has labeled FAS a hate group but we have continued to allow them to operate in Tamora because we believe in respecting religious freedom. But now we have seen a foreign leader give 1 bln dinars to them. That raises issues. Is this still and non government organization when governments provide the overwhelming majority of the funds? Also, is this organization, that has been labeled a hate group, not also responsible for the hardships that are being impose on Tamora because of their propaganda? I mean the same day that King Andrew III announced he froze our assets he donated to FAS and they haven't said anything condemning his actions. In this light, we believe there is credible evidence that FAS is no longer an NGO but a government one. And if we have foreign governments messing in our internal affairs, telling our people what they should do and promoting hate here then our government will be forced to intervene.

-So what does the Tamoran government expect from FAS?
-We do not tell free people what to do. We do however tell people what we will do. If FAS does not delimitate themselves from aggressive actions as those taken by Seaforth and if they continue to profit from our misery, because make no mistake, taking 1 bln dinars(UD) in just one donation is personally profiting from it as it is impossible for them to justify taking so much money considering their operations and activities, then the Tamoran government will treat their actions as those of a foreign government. Not only will their members no longer be welcomed in Tamora but it is likely that we will also put an end to the freestone mark campaign. The government does not want to interfere in what it considers a religious issue: what foreigners consider haram or halal. However, if FAS is being weaponised by foreign governments against us then our government will not stand idle.

-We have talked at length about the Seafoth's actions but we have yet to approach the subject of the citizens of Seafoth that are living in Tamora or have business here. Sure, the numbers are miniscule but they do exist. Do they have reasons to fear our government will issue sanctions similar to what King Andrew III has issued?
-They have nothing to fear, we will not take revenge on them for the actions of their government. The way we treated citizens of Paracambi, Lodja, Rokkenjima, Slava Lavosk and others so far is proof of that. Our citizens are free to trade with them. We have no issues with them.

MIACHD hopes to take "King" Andrew to court

The human rights organization, MIACHD, said they are doing everything possible to contest the sanctions adopted by "King" Andrew III :" We have little knowledge of the laws and the way Seaforth legislative process works but we are hopeful that we can team up with other local human rights organizations and help overturn or significantly alter the assets freeze which have left some Tamorans penniless. We have faith in the people of Seaforth that not all of them think the same as their King."

We at TINS would like to send a personal message to "King" Andrew: stealing from poor people and giving the money to the rich Morelanders of FAS is not cool!

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

The Imperial Enclave buries its hero

The Imperial Enclave buries its hero

TINS news anchor

We presented last week the case of an enlisted man who killed a blasphemer and his family. We also noted that after the enlisted man had been executed, his family was expelled from the parish and the Imam he was also denied burial in the parish cemetery. All this happened in the federated kingdom of Akkar. After our report, many in the Imperial enclave were quick to react and have made the necessary arrangements to bring the body for burial in Djerb, the Imperial Enclave. Furthermore, over one hundred Imams, and three dukes attended a public event where they each took a couple of minutes to present the family of the enlisted reasons for which they should join their parish. One imam promised the widow a teaching position at the local Manist school where she would teach at Manist studies about the sacrifice of her husband, one duke offered to raise a statue of the enlisted man, another imam has said he will name the first newborn baby boy in his parish after the hushed of the widow. One Imam explained the reason for the event:

"The family has been through an ordeal having been expelled by their parish. It is hard to believe that we read the and preach the same book. So this was our way to show they family of our hero, and he is a hero, that while one imam chose to expel them, over hundred us imams are "competing" to have them in our parish."

Thousands attended the funeral of the enlisted man in Djerb

A fundraising campaign has begun on the Tamoran internet to raise funds for the family of the enlisted man since the Imperial army has denied all benefits to the family following his conviction ad execution. The campaign asks Tamorans to donate 1 dinar (USD) for the family with the purpose of raising funds but also to show just how many Tamorans support the act of enlisted man. So far over 750 thousand dinars have been pledged with the campaign having one week to go.

The tragic event has left the nation divided, with the Imperial Enclave and the Muslim federated kingdom of Altai being the only kingdoms where a majority of the people considered the act to be justice for the crime of the blasphemer while in all other kingdoms the majority was against it.

Alya gives exclusive interview to the Voice of Seleucid political affairs magazine

Following the trip Alya Safavid and princess Thekla of Royal Seleucid took to Zimalia, Alya gave an exclusive interview to the Seleucid magazine, Voice of Seleucid. We present the highlights of that interview:

-Why a tour to Zimalia and why a tour together with the Princess Thekla?
-Zimalia is the country where Tamora and Royal Seleucid are working together to develop and strengthen the mining sector there. It a great opportunity for Tamora, Royal Seleucid but also Zimalia. All parties benefit from the mining operations that are currently underway in Zimalia. Princess Thekla  is well known in Tamora being kind enough to honor us with her presence some both in order to perform but also to attend entertainment events like the fashion show in Djerb.

- How does Tamora view the relation with Royal Seleucid?
- It is a close and special relation. One that is growing closer with each passing year.

- Some foreign analysts, and I emphasize foreign and not Seleucid or Tamoran, have asked if relations are so close between the two nations why there hasn't been a free trade agreement signed or something similar? We've seen similar arrangements signed between various nations, I won't name them here.
- That is because Tamora and Royal Seleucid are not like most other countries. We value our religion, traditions and culture. We want to preserve and protect these traditions. These free trade agreements that nations sign so easily are usually signed by nations that have lost much of what makes them unique. This is why they sign these treaties with so much easy, they have nothing left to protect and preserve. That isn't true for us.
Also, more specific in the case the Royal Seleucid there is the religious aspect that says the wealth of the country is a gift from the Gods and thus should not he shared with foreigners. While in the case of Tamora there is a need to be self-reliant. We need to be able to stand on our own and manufacture what we need so that should nations consider to boycott us en mass we'd be able to weather the storm.

Head of Foreign affairs, Ramin Rafsanjani, resigns and will take the position as ambassador to Zimalia

Ramin Rafsanjani has resigned today after eight years as Head of Foreign Affairs. He announced that he needed more free time to spend with his family but that he also wanted to focus more on developing a long lasting partnership with Zimalia. Unnamed sources form the Imperial government have said that his resignation comes after Alya, with her new influence as Mother of the Nation, has put pressure on him to resign following irreconcilable theological differences. Mr. Rafsanjani was prominent member of the liberal faction holding such extreme views such as advocating for equality of the sexes. His resignation leaves the Tamoran cabinet without any liberal members allowing the orthodox faction to have total control over the government. It remains to be seen who will be named as the new Head of Foreign Affairs, one thing is certain, extremists such as Mr. Rafsanjani are unlikely to be appointed.

Foreign Affairs transmits its regrets for loss of lives that took place in Paracambi

For 24 hours the Tamoran flag at the embassy in Paracambi was flown in half-mast

Foreign Affairs and the ambassador to Paracambi have transmitted their regret for the loss of life that occurred in Paracambi following the terrorist attack which has seen 23 killed, including the wife of the Paracambi Emperor.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Local news: The story behind foreign given names in Attica

TINS notice to viewers: This news report is done by our local partner in the federated kingdom of Attica.

Attica Chanel 1- news anchor

We all know how important names are. They tell us something about our personal history, our relatives and our religion. Here in Tamora you can tell a lot just by knowing a person's name like for example ethnicity and religion. In some cases you can even get a good clue in which region of a federated kingdom that person was born. To have a foreign given name as a Tamoran is extremely rare so we set out to find out the reasons behind two such instances.

We set out to Northern Attica, in one of the small cities that are mostly Parthian in terms of ethnicity and Manist in terms of religion. As our viewers know Manists are even more reluctant than Catholics to adopt foreign given names, yet in this small city, one family named their third son Tim. We had a chance to talk to the mother of the child, here are the main highlights:

-So how did you decide to name your son Tim of all names? That is an unusual name for Manists.
-It is unusual. Our Prophet always thought us to expect the worse from foreigners and it's always been good advice but he also thought us that should a foreigner ever help us then to be eternally grateful and never forget.

- So a foreigner helped you here, in this small town?
-Yes and no. I met the foreigner in Attica's capital. He was coordinating a team to audit businesses for the Freestone mark. He was extremely busy and I hesitated to talk to him. I think he must have noticed me and approached me. I tried to talk to him but it was hard, he knew English and I spoke little but he agreed to help me to audit my business to get the mark. And that was despite the fact I had no money to pay. I was worried a bit since relations with their people aren't the best and I was also Manist, all the other people I know who applied for the mark were of different faiths.

- So I take it his name was Tim?
- Tim Carpenter I believe was his name. Our business was on the brink of bankruptcy and we all know what bankruptcy means in Tamora. So I had nothing to pay him. This was my way to honor his name and repay him in a small way.

-What happened to the business? Did it turn around?
- I wouldn't say turn around but we are staying afloat. The mark definitely saved it.

Tim Parvin Aminzadeh and his parents

After the interviewed the first interview went to another Northern city in Attica. This was somewhat larger being a textile hub. Here the family we set out to interview named their daughter Beatrice, a most unusual name for Cahtolics of the Armenian rite. So when we took our interview, we knew what we should ask them first:

-So let us guess. You met a foreigner and that somehow left a mark on you, right?
-Well no. No foreigners come in this part on Attica, we are a small town and generally foreigners don't come to Tamora at all.

-Then how did you decide to name your daughter Beatrice?
-It wasn't really our choice of name. I work at a textile factory here and my husband is a truck driver. I was pregnant when the sanctions hit us we didn't get our wage paid for months. I had some heath issues and I couldn't afford medical care. I went to church I told my priest about it and he immediately got me in touch with a local member of the parish. A high lady named Rita, in charge of a bank here in town. She immediately offered to help and took care of all the bills for my health care. I asked her how I could repay her and she said that she and her husband just wanted to be godparents for the child.

-And she picked the name?
-Yeah, tradition here says godparents get to pick the name and we expected it to be Rita but she wanted Beatrice. We asked why she wanted Beatrice and she said it was after a person of great power from over sees that helped her business and the local community. I didn't ask more, that was good enough for me.

Beatrice Armavene Ohanjanyan and her parents during baptism

Dear viewers, it would seem that our names carry not just great meaning but also have a story to tell. That will be all for today.

Goodnight and Gold bless!

Alya Safavid named Head of Foreign Affairs

Alya Safavid named Head of Foreign Affairs

Alya Safavid is the new Head of Foreign Affairs

Emperor Abbas Safavid has signed the decree naming his First Wife as Head of Foreign Affairs. The move came as a surprise to many in the Foreign Office and sources say her support came from the (Manist) Church which has a strong supporter of her. With her nomination the cabinet is composed entirely of orthodox faction without any liberal elements.  It remains to be seen what changes in foreign policy will come from this new nomination but many analysts have said a more assertive foreign policy is to be expected.

The Empire of Tamora recommends that nations suspend all arm sales to the Commonwealth of the Unified Iwi

In her first important press statement as newly appoint Head of Foreign Affairs, Alya Safavid has commented on the recent incident in Iwi and the statement of King Akakios of Royal Seleucid:

"The execution of officer Imran Gamal by the Commonwealth of the Unified Iwi has created controversy over what some see as a brutal act. The Empire of Tamora will not comment on the method of execution since in our opinion that misses the point. As long as the Commonwealth of the Unified Iwi does not state clearly in law the permitted methods of execution and instead continues to rely on "punishments that fit the crime", we will see other incidents such as the ones we have seen in the past.

What worries the Empire of Tamora is that King Piripi II of Iwi has personally clubbed a Seleucid to death. Such an incident shows clearly that the government of Iwi has a deep seated hatred of Seleucids and that Seleucid citizens cannot expect to have a fair trial in Iwi. We also wonder of Mr. Imran Gamal was informed by the Iwi court that he would be garroted and then his body would be thrown in acid before he was given a chance to appeal. Nations that extradite Seleucid citizens to Iwi should recognize the responsibly they have for incidents such as this.

But the most worrying aspect is that the nation of Iwi, lead by a king who, I repeat, has clubbed to death a Seleucid citizen, is now arming itself. Nations that arm the Commonwealth of the Unified Iwi are responsible for a potential escalation of violence in the region. We have seen in the past what the Iwi can do with their current equipment. More advanced equipment will only embolden them to take more aggressive actions against Royal Seleucid and perhaps Tamora. I believe nobody will be surprised that if the military purchases goes through that then it will begin an arms race in the region. However, while Royal Seleucid and Tamora are more than capable  of taking care of themselves, I worry about the 2.5 million descents of Seleucids that are living in Iwi. They already face great hardships in Iwi because Seleucid blood flows through their veins. An armed Iwi government, lead by a King with such obvious hatred for the Seleucid, realizing that they cannot do anything to hurt Royal Seleucid will likely resort to taking revenge of the Seleucid descents living in Iwi. It is for these reasons that the Empire of Tamora strongly suggests that nations stop all sales of military equipment to Iwi until the Iwi government shows that it can be trusted with having such weapons by cooperating with Royal Seleucid and also taking action to resolve the issues facing Seleucid decedents living in Iwi."

So far the Foreign Office has not announced any measures against the Iwi or CNN countries.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Freestone group(FAS) and the Kingdom of Seaforth back down

Freestone group(FAS) and the Kingdom of Seaforth back down after pressure from MIACHD

TINS news anchor

After Alya Safavid has issued a sharp criticism of Freestone Group and the huge government donations  they have received, the group has changed track and will now offer scholarships to ex slaves with that money. Also, the Kingdom of Seaforth has backed down after an educational campaign started by MIACHD and have started to unfrozen the accounts of Tamorans in Seaforth.
Early today, we had in our studio the spokesperson of MIACHD and we asked him a couple of questions about their recent campaigns and the wave of racism and intolerance that has been increasing against Tamorans. We will provide you now with the main highlights of that interview:

-So we now see the Freestone group change policy and starting a scholarship program for ex slaves.  What do you think of that?
-As with most things, the devil is in the details. Let's not forget that their mark campaign was advertised as giving the customers a choice of what products to buy and in reality it was a way for governments to ban Tamoran goods from their countries without the moral backlash such a measure would ensure. It was also a scheme for the FAS leaders to get rich of donations from governments. So it remains to be see how they'll develop the project and who will work with them in Tamora. They are rightfully seen more and more as hate group and naturally that individuals in Tamora will not want to associate with them in any way.

-One of the highlights of your campaign was exposing the corruption and hypocrisy of the FAS leader by creating the game "Aim for the billion". Tell us a bit of how did you get the idea and the resources manage such a project.
-It's simple really, he had little to do with it. The Tamoran internet, as we call it, is responsible for it and we have been just the messengers taking all the credit for the work of anonymous volunteers that have cooperated and created such a game in a very short amount of time. I believe, and it's a personal opinion not the organization's, that the Tamoran internet is the most valuable resource that Tamora has and, with all due respect to our corporate nobles, the greatest innovation Tamora has produced. Tens of millions of people using a clean internet focusing of God, faith, family, country and cooperating to keep our society moral and help each other.

-We have also seen the Pretorian government applying to join FAS. What do you make of it?
-That the Tamoran authorities were right, FAS is so intertwined with foreign governments that some foreign governments are confused on why they can't join FAS directly. I am sure that FASs would have accepted their application if it wasn't for warning they received from our new Head of Foreign Affairs.

-You also scored a victory in Seaforth where King Andrew backed down and their treasury has started to give Tamorans their money back.
-Yes, that was a difficult case to say the least. The lack of knowledge of our ways and customs in that kingdom is astonishing. It must be their public education system or something. Nevertheless, once their authorities were bombarded with emails and letters showing them that stealing isn't cool they started realizing their mistake and have began to give our people their money back.

-What about their accusations of shell corporations, hidden accounts, top 15% etc ?
-They are just trying to save face. It's a common thing in these rich countries. And they used the 15%, have no idea where they got that, to suggest that somehow stealing from richer people is good. They are free to keep those imaginary funds for all we care.

-Will you be appealing to the Seaforth's Supreme Court?
-No, we have no such plans.

-Why not?
-For multiple reasons. The primary one would be that we have achieved our main objective, Tamorans are getting their money back. The second is that going to the Supreme court isn't like taking a taxi. It isn't cheap and we have limited funds. Unfortunately, there is a lost a racism and Manistophobia in Mundus, we'd rather use our limited resources in other places.

Celebrating ten years since SafeVid was founded

It hard to believe that SafeVid was founded just ten years ago, that's how used we are to it. Before the company was founded it was difficult to watch a non Tamoran movie, not only were men and women immodestly dressed but there were often scene of gratuitous sex that added nothing to the movie yet made in unbearable to watch. That's where SafeVid came in removing the gratuitous sex scenes, nudity, profanity  and the like allowing us now to enjoy a movie without having to worry about embarrassing moments. Understandably, SafeVid has had a massive success in Tamora, especially in the heavily Manist and Muslim areas where social mores hold modesty at great value. In the Imperial Enclave you'd be hard pressed to find a cinema that doesn't have its movies cleaned by SafeVid. It also quickly expended in the streaming service, customers have to purchase the movies from any streaming services and then Safevid technology allows you to skip any distasteful content. Furthermore, SafeVid allows you to customize the filters and thus get the clean movie experience that you wish. It is truly a remarkable company that cannot be praised enough.

Over one million pilgrims set off to Djerb to pay their respects to Alya at her Mausoleum

Tamorans waiting to pay their respects to Alya, one of the greatest Tamorans that have ever walked the earth

The yearly Manist tradition of paying respects to Alya, the second most important religious figure in the Manist tradition, has began. More than a million pilgrims are expected to visit Alya's Maluselum to bring flowers and give thanks for her role in saving Tamora from one of the worse periods of our history.  It is the only day of the year that the Mausoleum will be opened for both sexes as it usually reserved only for women. The huge crowds are an indication that the cult of Alya has not ceased to increase in our Manist faith. This holyday is also an opportunity for reflection. It may look like history is repeating itself once more, with so many Mundus countries targeting our citizines or waging economic warfare on us just as foreigners in centuries past have always waged against us. However, we need only look deeper at the life of Alya and other giants like her and realize the enemies of today are nothing but pygmies compared to enemies of their times. And if our great ancestors have not yielded neither will we under any circumstances. We owe it to them to keep Tamora as they have left it to us and not transform it as foreigners want it to be.

Jalal Deer Agricultural Conglomerate(JDAC) opens a meat packing plant in Royal Seleucid

JADC has announced they will be opening a brand new meat packing plant in Royal Seleucid in one of the industrial parks in the country. The plant will see some three hundred people employed and will process meat from Tamora. The factory will cater to Royal Seleucid domestic market but will also export to various Mundus countries. According to JADC, the investment was worth approx 50 million dinars (USD) and depending on how the sales go, the plant could be expanded further. JADS also noted that is has plan to continue investing in RS.

Others news in brief:

The Foreign Office upgrades the rating of Royal Seleucid from Safe to Recommended, the highest possible ranking, making RS the only country to have such a status. The rating considers risks relating to asset seizures and the hostility of the government towards Tamorans. Analysts were quick to point out a possible link between the fact that Alya Safavid has become the new Head of Foreign Affairs and the decision of the Foreign Office. Nevertheless, it is expected that Tamoran investments in RS will spike following the upgrade in rating.

Could a new commodity market open in Midaranye? Rumors say that the corporate nobles of Tamora are in private talks with the business leaders from the oil and gas industry of Royal Seleucid for opening a new commodity market in the region. It is unclear yet if the potential commodity market will trade exclusively  oil and gas or also minerals considering the mining exploitation in Zimalia of which companies from both countries are engaged.

Tamoran travel agency has started and international ad campaign promoting to foreign the three holy cities of Midaranye: Djerb, Ipus and Jerusalem. The region has more holy sites than entire continents and the travel agency hopes to attract tourists interested in seeing the vast religious and cultural heritage of the region.

The Manist Association of Royal Seleucid (MaRS) praised King Akakois of RS for his decision allow a small section of the recently announced temple to be used by Manists. MaRS also praised the king for his vision and his decision to build such the "grandest ever" temple saying it confirms that Midaranye is the religious heart of Mundus.

Federated kingdom of Vojvodina: The Slavic Brotherhood was active in encouraging Orthodox faithful to go to mass in large numbers this Sunday as a show of support for the Orthodox bishops of Vojvodina who have asked Bishop Vasic of Slava Lavosk to join his Church. The Slavic Brotherhood have said that if the churches can join regardless of borders then so can the Slavic people.

Federated kingdom of Attica: Radio Maria radio station has started airing today in the Slavic language. The Radio station, funded by the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Attica, aims to address the spiritual needs of the Catholics of Slava Lavosk whose bishops have chosen to follow Biship Vasic and break away from Pope Peter II. The motto of the radio station is "Our faith is our life", a quote from Catholic Cardinal Iuliu Hossu who under immense pressure did not abandon communion with Rome. The TV station says it will feature programs "dedicated to the life of the martyrs of the Catholic church that have chosen to go to God rather than abandon Rome".

Lodja extends its influence in Royal Seleucid as Lodjan business magnate, Ekaterina Stasiuk, will build a grand luxury hotel in Royal Seleucid. The Lodjan business magnate is growing in influence in Royal Seleucid following the marriage of her daughter to the King of RS. It will remains to be seen what the effects of such influence will have over RS. Lodja being one of the states that has engaged in economic terrorism against Tamorans and is under the political control of East Moreland.

Foreign currencies are becoming increasingly popular in Tamora

Foreign currencies are becoming increasingly popular in Tamora

TINS news anchor

For those of us that live in the Imperial Enclave it is hard to believe that foreign currencis are used much in Tamora. However, in the federated kingdoms foreign currencies are used quite a lot. The rule of thumb is that the closer you are to the border the more used they are. In the federated kingdom of West Seleucid for example, the Royal Seleucid drachmas are widely used in shops but also on invoices. It is not uncommon in the capital of West Seleucid to see prices in both dinars and drachmas. Though most shops only accept dinars, quite a few of them accept payment in drachmas. The reason for using the RS drachmas are many: raging from economic ties with the richer Royal Seleucid but also the cultural connection West Seleucid has with Royal Seleucid. However, there is one more reason that has led many Tamorans living in West Seleucid to choose the drachmas: the volatility of the dinar. With so many sanctions placed against us, the dinar was heavily affected and that was seen in the exchange rate. Not only did it depreciate when compared to other currencies but it has also entered a period of high volatility with major ups and downs. That has led some to seek safety in the drachma which is much more stable than the dinar. Banks have reported that millions of Tamorans have switch at least part of their savings from the dinar to the drachma in recent months.

In the federated kingdom of Vojvodina the story is pretty much the same. While tensions are high between Tamora and Slava Lavosk, that hasn't stopped many Tamorans in Vojvodina from embracing the Slavic dinar. While it can be argued that because of the political tensions the Slavic dinar was adopted less enthusiastically than the drachmas, as there is fear that in case of further tensions, exchanging Slavic dinars back to Tamoran dinars might be impossible, the Slavic dinar still enjoys widespread use though nowhere near that of the drachmas in West Seleucid. In fact, some shops in Vojvodina accept the drachmas rather than the Slavic dinars. While people in the Imperial Enclave have been reluctant to use foreign currencies in daily use, nevertheless. banks report that residents here have shifted some of their savings to the drachmas to protect themselves form the depreciation of our dinar.

But there is one currency that has seen an increase in popularity regardless of kingdom, or better said one type of currency: the crypto currencies. Many of us know that it becoming increasingly  hard to receive money from aboard because of the sanctions foreigners have placed on us. So many of us have turned to virtual currencies in an effort to avoid the international banking system that is becoming increasingly more hostile to us. While medium and large business have little use for virtual currencies, they are a viable alternative for many freelancers that have clients aboard and even for some small businesses that trade with foreign countries. As usual, the Tamoran internet spearheaded this approach, there are many sites and forums providing support to Tamorans that are considering using virtual currencies but have little knowledge of them. One of our staff at TINS did a search on the most popular forum and there were dozens of threads about virtual currencies and how they can be used to get around the restrictions foreign banks have places on us.
So while our dinar is king and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future, more and more Tamorans are considering alternatives and diversifying when it comes to savings.

Nataliya Kozel of Lodja proposes an international court lead by EM

The deputy envoy to the Ardias for East Moreland ( or Lodjan envoy as they like to claim it is) have suggested that the masters of Lodja, the East Morelanders, should lead a court to prosecute Seleucid citizens. Unfortunately for her, she even went so far as to say that the Iwi should agree since they are friends with the East Morelanders. So we can all imagine the justice the East Morelanders would bring to the Seleucid defendants. After all, we are talking about the EM that attacked Royal Seleucid not very long ago.

It is in moments like these that we now see what Lodja's role is in the EM ruled alliance: to say the most  outrageous things that even EM representatives would be too ashamed to say in public.
In the end, Nataliya spoke about peace saying that if we do not give in to the demands of the Iwi, war will break out. So naturally nations should just agree to whoever the Iwi demand.

When you look at the Queen of Lodja, it's not hard to see why Lodja is a failed state

We here at TINS have explained in detail why Lodja can be considered a failed state but perhaps we couldn't really identify the reason why. The events of this week have made things much more clear. A confused Lodjan Queen couldn't make up her mind and decided to marry a woman and a man. She probably thought that at least that way she would be sure to find something that she likes. However, one political analyst noted that the Queen of Lodja can take many more spouses of whatever sex she wants and she still won't be happy since what she wants it the "leadership" of King David of East Moreland. "Lodja is become less a dominion of EM and more a province of EM with no autonomy whatsover. They are desperate to get attention and also to please their EM masters" said one political analyst. Of course, the Lodjan Queen said the date of the wedding has yet to be set since she needs King David of EM to escort her on her wedding day. Hopefully, King David will find the time otherwise she'll have to wait a while.

One Imam disagreed with those assessments and that Duke Leopold, the future husband of the Lodjan Queen, is already taking charge of the Lodjan Queen and demanding he also takes  Roksana Pajari to be his second wife. "While on paper that cannot be possible, that is what's happening behind the scenes. The Queen of Lodja is marrying Roksana Pajari so that Duke Leopold can have a second wife", said the Imam. He went further saying that with such powerful leadership displayed by Duke Leopold he will get Lodja into shape in no time.

But the confused queen didn't stop there. She also said that Tamora doesn't belong in the XXI century. The exact quote was "Slavery has no place in the XXIst century". I guess Tamora is more of a XXth century kind of nation. She also said she treats slavery with the same level of care that she treats the other major causes like: fur, organic food and fairtrade coffee (we do not know what that is but we bet is more expensive than regular coffee).

So unless slavery becomes trendy again, Lodja will not embrace it again. We here at TINS thank the Lodjan Queen for her constant preoccupation with the affairs of Tamora. And while she is concerned that "slavery had no place in the XXIst century" we would be more worried that if Lodja continues to cede its sovereignty to EM at the current pace, it won't survive the XXIst century.

The Empress of Rokkenjima criticized the international community on the double standard it uses when it comes to Tamorans

"Slavans of Tamoran descent face deplorable treatment and conditions only to be given the approval of the international community through their complicit silence and inaction." said the Empress in her speech and then asked rhetorically " What if it were Slavans of Achkaerinese descent, Morelander descent, Cennselaig descent? Would the world be silent as their plight plays out?"

It would seem that the Rokkenjiman Empress has learned quite a lot during her trip to Tamora. The most valuable lesson being that when you are Tamoran, international law and international outcry applies with a different standard. For this reason alone, the staff at TINS salutes the Empress of Rokkenjima.

Kadyrov Industries is accepting applications to send the first Tamoran in space via the Rokkenjiman ISEA

Kadyrov Industries has announced that they plan to send a Tamoran to space via the Rokkenjiman ISEA. According the agreement, ISEA will send one Tamoran astronaut in space at no cost for the Kadyrov Industries which will have to find a suitable candidate for the space trip.

Musaevna Kadyrov spoke on behalf of the company saying this is a great opportunity for Tamora and that applicants' physical fitness or education backgrounds will not be the only requirements and that a impeccable moral background is also expected in order to be selected. Kadyrov Industries has started accepting applications, so those interested can begin applying today.

Others news in brief:

"God punishes the wicked" video is trending on the Tamoran Internet. The video features a young Manist preacher showing that the nations that have sanctioned us have been punished by God and gives the example of Paracambi which have seen their Empress killed, the Lodjan which have seen one of their ships burn and the latest volcanic activity in Seaforth. While we here at TINS disagree with the preacher and believe these are just mere coincidences, we are curious to see if any coincidences do strike the Freestone group.

Annual synod of the Manist Church is approaching soon. The annual synod of the Ayatollahs of the Church of the Prophet Mani will begin next month. So far no contentious issue has been announced on the agenda.

The speculated idea of opening a new commodity market of Midaranye is gathering steam. Sources say that corporate nobles of Tamora are pushing hard for the commodity to open and that business leaders of Royal Seleucid seem to indicate that they are willing to join the project. However, the sides have yet to reach any deal on the HQ of the commodity market, the exact commodities and other crucial details.

Tamoran internet is fighting back against the Freestone Group. Various anonymous groups are making a list of the business owners of the Imperial Enclave that have the Freestone mark and are posting details about their families, home address etc on the Tamoran internet in order to unmask those that choose profits over the community. So far the pressure seems to be working since at least half of the businesses that had the mark have said they will give it up or that have applied out of error. However, in the federated kingdoms there hasn't been any indication that businesses have renounced their the Freestone mark nor have any similar campaign been started. TINS is currently working on a detailed report on the influence and effects of Freestone group activity in Tamora and will present it to our viewers soon.

A new development project was announced in the federated Kingdom of Attica

A new development project was announced in the federated Kingdom of Attica

TINS news anchor

The federated kingdom of Attica issued a statement today announcing that it will create a new development area together with the Heyran Conglomerate that will boost growth of the Tamoran economy. The agreement with the Heyran Conglomerate (HC) stipulates that Tamora will lease 500 square km of land to the HC for one hundred years but authorities emphasized that, while Heyran law will apply there, the area will remain under the control of the Tamoran authorities who will be policing the area. Furthermore, the Heyran Conglomerate will fund the construction of a Manist Church and have also set aside 10 ha or land for the Church. Tamorans who will choose to reside in Elysium, as the area will be called, will continue to be Tamoran citizens.

The Queen of Attica, has called the project a major step forward for the economy of the federated kingdom, one that will open many new possibilities.

Corporate nobles were very pleased with the announcement of the project, especially with the article that will give any Tamoran company that incorporates in Elysium equal footing under Heyran law. Furthermore, the Foreign Office has issued a statement in support of the project adding that the area is to be considered safe for investment.

The Supreme Ayatollah gave a fiery sermon this Sunday, harshly criticizing the decision to give away Tamoran land to foreigners

During the regular weekly sermon, the Supreme Ayatollah spoke on the recent Elysium deal reached between Tamora and the Heyran Conglomerate:

Quote
What we have seen this week is a total capitulation of the Empire. Make no mistake, this is not an Attican project, it carries the signature of the Emperor. And who did Tamora capitulate to? A bunch of peddlers! People keep repeating that Heyra will give us money to build a temple. Of course they will, we aren't Catholics. People give us money to build temples, we don't give money to people so they claim they are religious. Let me tell you why they are giving us money. It's because the fear us. The Heyrans fear what cannot be purchased, for a trader cannot comprehend a thing that is priceless.* And let me tell you two things that are priceless: our faith and our land. Those are not for sale no matter the price. So while some have chosen to give our land away for one hundred years, it is up to us the remind the Heyrans and other foreigners whose land it is. In this great temple lay the remains of Xerxes Safavid, the one also known as the Liberator, the last Tamoran king and the first Tamoran Emperor, the one who conquered the kingdom of Altai. Without him we wouldn't exist as Tamorans and we would all be Muslims. Dear faithful, his sword and his shield will be put on display in the new temple we will build in Elysium. And once a year, on the day we commemorate the death of Xerxes the Liberator, I invite you all to go there on pilgrimage so that foreigners will be reminded of whose land it is.
God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Alya Safavid who was in attendance during the sermon at the Great Temple, did not choose to give a sermon herself as she usually does and she made no comments after church service. Later that day, the Imperial government issued a short statement regarding Elysium saying that the project will continue as planned without any change whatsoever.

Others news in brief:

Sources say that Kadyrov Industries have chosen a candidate to be sent into space by the Rokkenjiman ISEA. The same sources say that the candidate, whose name has yet to be announced, is undergoing training at the Kadyrov Space Center. It is expected that Kadyrov Industries will soon be announcing the name of the candidate.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Kadyrov Industries has announced the astronaut candidate
« Reply #45 on: October 28, 2018, 05:52:58 AM »
Kadyrov Industries has announced the astronaut candidate surprising and also pleasing many Tamorans

Fairuza Kuto, Zimalian born, naturalized Tamoran citizen

In a press conference at the Kadyrov Space Center, Musaeva Kadyrov has announced the name of the astronaut candidate that will become the first Tamoran to go into space: Fairuza Kuto. The 32 years old Fairuza, a mother of three,  was born in Zimalia, has a bachelor degree in Mathematics from the University of Mogebbe (Zimalia)  and she was also a teaching assistant there until last year. She and her husband work at one of the Tamoran mining companies in Zimalia. Fairuza and her family were among the first Zimalians to convert to Manism. She chose the name Fairuza after her conversion.

Fairuza Kuto said that she is honored to have been selected to represent Tamora on such a momentous event for the history of the nation.
Alya Safavid, the Head of Foreign Affairs, was also present at the press conference where she said that just a short while ago Fairuza Kuto was naturalized as a Tamoran citizen by imperial decree and that Fairuza had the "full backing of the Empire" adding that the "whole nation wants to see Fairuza in space".

Musaeva Kadyrov for her part was more reserved saying that Fairuza will need to undergo training in Rokkenjima where she will need to pass another series of tests but that she is confident that Fairuza is ready for the challenge.

If approved by the Rokkenjima's ISEA, Fairuza Kuto will not only be the first Tamoran to go into space but probably also the fist Zimalian(ooc: hope i got this right)  to go into space and one of the few persons of color to do so.
Members of Fairuza's parish in Zimalia were also excited and happy that one of their members was chosen for such an honor. The local imam that forwarded her application said "Where there is faith and one follows the Prophet nothing is impossible".

Members of Fairuza's parish celebrated her selection

We here at TINS congratulate Fairuza Kuto for being selected and pray for her to also pass the final tests in Rokkenjima.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Millions watched as Fairuza Kuto became the first Tamoran to go into space

Fairuza Kuto praying on board the Adora Space Station

The whole nation prepared  to see Fairuza go into space and become the first Tamoran in history to do so. More than 120 million Tamorans in the Empire tuned in to watch Fairuza taking off from the Rokkenjiman Space Port. Our correspondents in Royal Seleucid, Ecclesiastical State and Zimalia, countries with a notable numbers of Tamorans, report that the Tamoran communities there also tuned in to watch in high numbers. Even in the rural areas of Zimalia, thanks to the Watly EM devices, villagers had access to internet and could see the take off.

Viewers were also anxious to see what Fairuza's first words would be once in space and could communicate. She moved many of us as with two simple words "Free Dilara". Then, with a trembling voice, Fairuza continued to say the traditional women's prayer so familiar to many of us. Many Tamorans joined her in saying the prayer.

The Supreme Ayatollah briefly commented on the event saying: "Millions took to the streets to ask for Dilara's release but the Godless Beast from the East pretended not to hear us. Now we have taken the message into space, it would have to pretend to be blind in order to ignore us."

Fairuza will be staying on board the Rokkenjima's Space Station Adora for at least 4 months. ISEA, Rokkenjima's space agency, has been at the forefront of space exploration counting among its many achievements putting the first man on Luna.

Spoiler: Adora Space Station • show

The space station will be Fairuza's home for at least the next four months

We will return to you with a more detailed update about Fairuza's mission to the Adora Space Station and her work there.
The TINS staff congratulate Fairuza Kuto for becoming the first Tamoran to go into space and echo her message "Free Dilara".

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

As Mundus games almost draw to a close, Tamora counts its medals

As Mundus games almost draw to a close, Tamora counts its medals

Two of our gold medalists: Yalda Karimi (shooting) and Mirhashem Tajik (MMA)

With only two more  days until the Mundus games close, Tamoran athletes have won an impressive 41 medals of which 13 were gold. Our athletes dominated weightlifting, shooting and MMA bringing us great joy when we saw the Tamoran flag rise above all others and our athletes standing proud on the number one spot. But behind what the cameras showed, things were not always so happy. We talked with Yalda Karimi, one of our female athletes who has returned home with the gold won at the shooting competition and we asked her a couple of questions about how the whole experience at the Mundus games went. Here are the highlights:

-This was the first time you took part in the Mundus games, how was the experience?
-Not a pleasant one. There was a lot of animosity towards us coming from the athletes of rich countries.

- Why were they hostile towards you?
- The usual "reasons": that we are "slavers" and that we don't fraternize with them. Which was ironic since I am a serf myself and never owned any slaves.

- Was there any physical violence?
- No. In the first day there was one time where a group of athletes tried to gang up on me but I was fortunate that our men were close by and when they showed up they backed off. After that most of us didn't leave our rooms expect for training or for things that we really had to do. And even then we made sure to do it in large groups. I preferred to spend my free time praying and reading.

- Did you get to visit Arrakeen, Kataine's capital?
-No, not really. Our Foreign Office warned us of their hostility towards religion. Also, the imam that was with us also confirmed that assessment. What's the point of visiting the city if you feel locked up wherever you go?

- I guess it couldn't get any worse than that?
- It did. Halfway through the games, we got some leaflets from their local religious group. Our entire delegation had a meeting with the Imam and he translated the leaflet to us. I was heartbroken, one of the points in the leaflet was, and i remember it clearly " the reinstation of the right to worship." Until that moment it never occurred to me that the entire population might be suffering. I just assumed that if the authorities hate religion then the population must hate religion too. That deeply troubled me, I just went to my room and cried. The idea that you couldn't even worship was heartbreaking. I couldn't imagine a life without religion, some of my early childhood memories are about me praying with my parents and grandparents. We pray every time before we eat, we ask your friends and neighbors who they want us to pray for, we all go to temple service on Sunday. To miss all that is to miss a large chuck of what it means to be human. So I felt bad for judging the Kataine people for being hostile to religion, they are just victims. Now I am back in Tamora, but they are still trapped in that prison. I pray for them every day now.

- But there were good moments too?
-Yes, winning the gold medal was for me the greatest achievement. It was worth all the effort and sacrifices. Seeing the Tamoran flag up there and knowing I played a small in putting it there humbled me. Such an honor it is worth everything.

-Ending on a positive note. We have seen your Imam walked 200 miles to ask for your freedom and we understand that your family has found a suitable husband for you. So what are you plans for the future?
- Things have turned around indeed. I will have to talk with my future husband but if he agrees I would like to continue to compete. I love it and I like to believe that I can make Tamora be proud of me again.

Spoiler: Memorable moments at Mundus Games • show

Our delegation at the opening ceremony.

Thanking God after a 10,000 m run.

And just the overall joy of winning.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Nation is in shock as Slava Lavosk seeks to crucify Dilara

Nation is in shock as Slava Lavosk seeks to crucify Dilara

The faithful listened to the call of the Supreme Ayatollah and went out to pray for Dilara

The president of Slava Lavosk has announced that he will crucify Dilara Haghigh next month after she turns eighteen citing the methods of torture till death used by the Iwi in their executions as precedent. The news shocked all us to the core. Such a level of hatre and violence against us has not been in centuries. What started with the Paracambi boycotting us and then joined almost immediately by Lodja has later developed into a full asset grab by Seaforth which was fueled by the propaganda perpetuated  by the Freestone hate group. Now Slava's president feels embolden by the actions of the international community and has decided to release his wrath on the Tamorans of Slava.

Alya Safavid, Head of Foreign affairs, has issued a statement urging the Slavan president to stop the execution warning that "proceeding with the execution closes the room for dialogue and opens all other avenues to resolve the crisis." adding that "President Kravec needs to consider the implications such an act will have on Slava Lavosk and its people."

In the evening, the Supreme Ayatollah gave a fiery sermon condemning Slava's announcement and saying that " The Godless Beast knows full well that Dilara is now a living symbol of our religion, she is sacred to us all. By threatening to crucify her, the Godless Beast seeks to condemn our entire faith. That is nothing less than blasphemy against our religion. It is not too late of the Beast to back down, let us pray that it does not cross that line".

We encourage all our viewers to keep Dilara and the Tamorans in Slava in our prayers, they need it now more than ever.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

The Imam of our delegation at the Mundus games breaks the silence

The Imam of our delegation at the Mundus games breaks the silence

OOC: Since the Mundus games took a long time in RL, I will assume this happened before the Dilara execution announcement took place.

TINS news anchor

The Imam that accompanied our athletes to Kataine for the Mundus games gave an interview about his experience in that country. We will show you now the main highlights of what we believe is a memorable interview:

-We have seen our beloved Yalda say that her experience in Kataine was... less than positive.
-I am much too old to avoid telling things as they are. Kataine is a prison, the citizens are prisoners in their own country.

-That is a radical statement. Many would wonder why didn't you say something during the games?
-Because the government of Kataine would probably have kicked our athletes out of the games. Our boys and girs worked hard to get there and I didn't want to do something that will jeopardize their chance of receiving their well deserved recognition. Now that we are back in Tamora though and I am no longer constrained by that obligation I would have to lie to say anything else regarding Kataine.

-Just how bad are things in Kataine?
-Well I am no expert and I hardly did any visiting in the capital. Also, the government made sure to put its best foot forward. But even considering that, and I still found the place suffocating, there was law enforcement everywhere, I didn't see a single native pray while I was there and many other things.

-Yalda mentioned some leaflets that their native religious group distributed.
-Yes, it was the first confirmation that what I suspected was true. The people of Kataine are religious they are just too afraid to show it.

-Those leaflets were distributed by the Bene Gesserit, is that correct? Isn't that a terrorist organization? The one who attempted to steal nuclear waste from East Moreland?
-Yes, it was distributed by the Bene Gesserit (BG). As to the nuclear waste incident, let's be honest here. East Morelanders lie as they breath, it comes natural to them. What could a couple of women do ? If it wasn't East Moreland, those women wouldn't have had a chance to do something like that. We are talking about East Moreland, the nation that cannot wipe out a terrorist organization after hundreds of year of trying and have allowed it to grow to a level that threatens the world economy. But let's assume that East Morelanders said the truth for once. Many in my parish asked me what I think of the BG terrorist attempt in East Moreland. And I answered them with the following question: imagine that in Tamora we would no longer we allowed to pray, to go to our religious schools, to publicly display our religion, to tell our children the word of the Prophet. Can you imagine that? Okay. Now I ask you this: what would you be willing to do so you can return things to the way they were before? If the answer is : anything, and I pray to God it is, then we Tamorans can understand the actions of the Bene Gesserit. I also believe, and this is my personal opinion, that we have some sort of responsibility towards them.

-Responsibility? What do you mean?
-You are too young to remember but there was a time, in the 90s, when Tamora associated itself with the godless USR. I will not comment on that but I will ask that if our association with them did not strengthen the USR and by tangent Kataine government.

-Just how powerful is the government of Kataine? Can they wipe out religion in Kataine?
-The government has already lost. It lost the moment it tried to suppress religion. It lost when after two hundred years of having the police, the secret service, control of the schools and of all public life and trying to erase religion and fail. I believe the government of Kataine is scared because it doesn't matter how much they will try they won't be able to erase religion from Kataine.

-Is there something that you are planning to do about this or will you leave things as they are.
-I will do what the leaflets asked of us: to petition and spread the word. As you probably know, our church will have a synod soon. As Ayatollah I am honored that I have been invited to attend. I will ask my brothers of faith to discuss the issue at the synod and see what conclusion we will reach.

Those were the main highlights of the interview. Once the synod of our church will begin, we will present in details their work, debates and decision. May God give them wisdom!

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Our Church holds its synod and debates on the suppression of the Bene Gesserit

Our Church holds its synod and debates on the suppression of the Bene Gesserit faith

OOC: Since the Mundus games took a long time in RL, I will assume this happened before the Dilara's execution announcement.

The Grand Ayatollah of the federated kingdom of Altai (left) and the Grand Ayatollah of the federated kingdom of Akkar (right)

Just like in previous years, the Great Temple of Djerb hosted the synod of our Church. The entire leadership of the Church: two hundred and fifty Ayatollahs, the five Grand Ayatollahs and the Supreme Ayatollah attended the Synod. Our Supreme Ayatollah presided over the synod which lasted for four days. As we reported before, the Ayatollah who attended the Mundus game in Kataine had asked the synod to discuss the issue of the suppression of the Bene Gesserit in Kataine and if possible reach a conclusion. The Supreme Ayatollah granted the request.

Day one: The suppression of religion in Kataine

The Ayatollah who lead our delegation at the Mundus Games was the first speaker of the day and presented the dire situation in Kataine. Just as he said at TINS, but going in much greater detail, the Ayatollah described a bleak picture of Kataine: a prison state where the guards oppress the citizens and deny even the basic right to practice their faith. He went on to say how the oppressive atmosphere managed to induce a state of depression to the whole Tamoran delegation that attended the games. "It was unbearable to stay there less than three weeks, I cannot imagine staying there a lifetime. "
Afterwards, a debated insured in the synod, the orthodox and the conservative factions on one side claiming the issue does not concern Tamora in any way and should be dropped while the liberal faction claiming that the issue cannot be ignored. The debated lasted for hours without reaching a conclusion.

Day two: Bene Gesserit (BG) and the principles of its faith

As the request of the liberal faction, the synod started to debate on the beliefs and customs of the Bene Gesserit. After the Supreme Ayatollah announced the topic of the day, the Orthodox faction left the synod for the day in protest that in the Great Temple of Djerb the principles of another faith are discussed. Nevertheless, the synod continued its deliberation despite the fact that the largest faction no longer participated. Members of the conservative faction claimed that the Bene Gesserit are nothing but a cult since it is dominated by women which goes against the natural order. The liberals retorted that Anahitaism (ooc: the religion of Royal Seleucid) also has female priests and is a very established and respected religion in both Midaranye and Tamora. The conservative were quick to point out that such a preoccupation with women priests borders the pathological, a statement which created outcry in the liberal faction and lead to further heated debate. Eventually the liberal faction asked the Supreme Ayatollah to allow Musaevna Kadyrov to speak before the council and to explain in brief about the BG faith. The conservatives protested the request noting that it is unprecedented to have women in the Synod adding that it was something which the liberals should have been aware of. The Supreme Ayatollah allowed for Musaevna to speak saying that she will not be a member of the synod but merely a guest speaker.

Spoiler:  Musaevna approaching the Supreme Ayatollah • show

Musaevna Kadyrov, a member of the liberal faction, thanked the Supreme Ayatollah for the honor to speak before the synod.

Musaeva detailed in brief the belief system of the BG and noted that the BG, while dominated by women, are desperately awaiting for a male savior to help them suggesting that they adhere in practice to the natural order of things when it comes to relation between the sexes.

After Musaeva finished her speech, the conservative faction also decided to leave the synod for the day since in their opinion the discussions were going nowhere. After their departure, the synod suspended for the day.

Day three: BG and terrorism

On this day the synod focused on the accusation that BG is a terrorist organization. One analyst presented before the synod the details of the attempt of the BG to steal nuclear waste from East Moreland. Both the orthodox and the conservative factions remained silent after the presentation raising no issue for debate. The liberal faction however attempt to argue that the actions of the BG have broken international law. It was at that moment that the Supreme Ayatollah asked for silence in the synod and gave the following speech:

The Supreme Ayatollah and the book of Mani

Quote
During the last days we have argued passionately about our values, the members were at times less kind to each other but we always remained within the context of our faith. I see for the first time that some of us have gone too far". He then pointed at the Book of Mani that laid open before him" This is the law we ask to be judged by and this is the law we judge others. This is the international law. Not what the Morelanders or whatever organization decides today it's the law, only to change its mind tomorrow and adopt another "international" law. So honorable members of the synod, let us not forget the basics. The book of Mani is wide open before us so as to remember us why we are here. I have not made my mind of the BG but please, I ask you to remember whose law we follow and judge them by those laws and no other. Thank you".

After the intervention of the Supreme Ayatollah no other members of the synod had anything else to say the and synod suspended its work for the day.

Spoiler:  Ayatollahs discussing on the hallway • show

On the hallways, Ayatollahs continued to talk about the nuclear waste terrorist attempt. One prominent member of the orthodox faction said "If this is what their women can do, then imagine what their men can do. "

Day four:

The Synod closed its door to the public. Behind closed doors, sources say the synod had other vital issues to debate which for various reasons did not want to make public. Later on, the same sources say that the synod had reached a conclusion on the BG issue and it will be made public by the Supreme Ayatollah during the Sunday sermon.

Sunday:

Religious service at the great Temple of Djerb saw in attendance the entire synod as well as prominent members of the Empire's nobility including Alya Safavid.  As expected, during the sermon the Supreme Ayatollah also touched on the BG issue saying:

Spoiler:  Supreme Ayatollah during the sermon at the Great Temple • show

The Supreme Ayatollah at the Great Temple in Djerb. Behind him, the ever present Tamoran flag.

Quote
Let me quote the Prophet "I have nothing to give you but hardship and destitution but should you choose to follow me you will get the greatest of gifts, a solidarity like no other you have seen before. For what is forged in poverty, no man can break. "
One thousand years ago the Prophet said that to the people of this land. Tamora has changed a lot and I believe we now have something else to offer than just solidarity. Through the constant sacrifice of countless generations we now have the largest army in Mundus. So to the followers of the Bene Gesserit I say: welcome into the fortress that is Tamora!"

During the evening, the Foreign Office, issued a statement saying that the Empire of Tamora will now offer permanent residence to any BG members should they desire. They can apply at any Tamoran embassy or by coming directly to Tamora.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Midaranye Commodity Exchange(MCE) will open next week in Ipsus, Royal Seleucid
« Reply #51 on: November 05, 2018, 09:45:10 PM »
Midaranye Commodity Exchange(MCE) will open next week in Ipsus, Royal Seleucid

The HQ of the soon to open Midaranye Commodity Exchange (MCE), Ipsus, Royal Seleucid

After months of negotiations business leaders from Tamora and Royal Seleucid have announced that will launch a new commodity exchange market for oil, gas, mineral resources and agricultural products. The new commodity market will be based in Ipsus, Royal Seleucid and will have a spread out shareholder structure: 50% private investors from Royal Seleucid, 40 % private investors from Tamora (the Dabiri family and oil and gas corporate families) somewhat surprising 5% percent will feature private investors from Zimalia, with the remaining 5% reserved for the ZImalian government.

Negations between the Tamoran side and the Seleucid side have been going on for months. Sources close to the negotiation process say that the Tamoran side was interested mainly in the commodity exchange for the option of physical delivery (as opposed to offsetting tractions ) since that would give them access to a secure market to sell their products. A concern becoming more acute as more nations have sanctioned Tamora. For their part, the Seleucid were more interest in having their Drachma gain more clout on the FX markets since transitions will be done in the Seleucid Drachma. The same sources say the Zimalian side was mostly represented by Tamora in the negotiations and the their presence as shareholders is a sign of the importance of the Zimalian market for the Tamoran businesses. While there have been rumors that some of the private investors from the Zimalian side are individuals connected to the legislative process of Zimalia, there has been no official confirmation of this nor has there been any confirmation of a potential link between these Zimalian shareholders and the recent campaign in Zimalia to remove tariffs on Tamoran goods.

Gholam Dabiri, who is the leader of the Tamoran shareholders of MCE and has a 10%, said that: "Financial expert tend to overcomplicate things. The new exchange will simply allow us to sell our goods to anyone who wants to trade on the new market. This way we are no longer dependent on unreliable and untrustworthy foreign financial centers which use any excuse to drown us in paperwork and postpone giving us the money for our goods until a certain authorization comes from whatever ministry. The foreign financial centers that charge interest can keep their financial services domination position but as of today, Midaranye will have a say on the commodity market."

When asked if there are further plans for the MCE, Gholam Dabiri was clear:

"I want to see MCE become THE commodity exchange of Mundus. We are happy that our Zimalian partners are also interested in the project and that is one area where I see much potential but on the short term, I will ask the other major business families of Tamora that deal in the oil and gas industry to see if they can't have an OPEN meeting or conference on the subject. The aim would be to have companies from the countries that are members of OPEN come and sell their products through this market. Not exclusively through MCE, but have it as one of the options. For my part, I will see if I can arrange a meeting with Mr. Dizon, the CEO of the Dizon Farms of Quintelia. They are colossus in the agricultural sector and if I can convince him to also use MCE as an exchange, among others, then I believe that will change Midranye on the map when it comes to the commodities market. We'll see what happens. Where there's faith, anything is possible!"

Book retailers report surge in sales of books about Bene Gesserit

The recent announcement by the Supreme Ayatollah that has said Tamora will offer refuges to the members of the Bene Gesserit faith has not gone unnoticed by the Tamoran people. The Bene Gesserit religion is almost unknown among the general public and representative of book retailers say that people are traying to find out more about this faith. It remains unclear how many members of the Bene Gesserit religion will come to Tamora but people want to know more about their faith, their rituals and their beliefs. And it's not just curiosity that drives Tamorans, one Imam that we interviewed said that " Should Bene Gesserit members come in significant numbers to Tamora that is an opportunity for us to proselytize and bring the word of the Prophet to new people. In order to be able to do that I need to know what erroneous beliefs they hold so I can point them out to them. "

As expected, the Tamoran Internet is full of threads and discussions about the Bene Gesserit with topics ranging from their belief system to the alleged crimes committed by their members and their peculiar priesthood.

Others news in brief:

Federated kingdom of Akkar: The count of Delfan (capital of the federated kingdom) has announced that he will renaming one of the main boulevard as Kadyrov boulevard after the Kadyrov family for their incredible support and generosity showed in the community: "I have lost track of how many temples, schools, kindergartens, clinics and even a hospital have been built in our city by the Kadyrovs. This is a small way for us to show our appreciation. May God continue to reward them for their generosity."

Spoiler:  the Kadyrov boulevard • show

Delfan (capital of the federated kingdom of Akkar) honors the immense contribution the Kadyrovs have done for the community.

The Department of War was announced that acquisition of Su-57 fighter will continue as planned regardless of the current recession saying that the acquisition is priority now more than ever. The Su-57 is set to replace the current Su-27 and are manufactured by Kadyrov Industries.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Sixty three Tamorans killed in Slava's detainment camps

Sixty three Tamorans killed in Slava's detainment camps

TINS news anchor

Slavan authorities have upped their persecution against Tamorans living in Slava. Not content with putting our people in detainment camps, the Slavan authorities have now resulted to killing Tamorans in detainment camps, 63 Tamorans have been killed by Slavan guards in just one day. Meanwhile there has been no word from the Slavan authorities on our government's request on allowing Tamoran inspectors into those camps. It is now clear even for the most skeptic of critics why that was been the case.

Soon after the incident, Alya Safavid, head of Foreign Affairs, has announced that the Slavan ambassador to Tamora has been declared persona non grata by the Emperor in light of the violence perpetuated against Slavan citizens of Tamoran descent currently in detainment. The Slavan ambassador has been given 24h to leave Tamora. The decision marks a new low in relations between the two countries and is the first time that the Tamoran government has issued any form of reprisals since the crisis began. Sources close to the Foreign Office have stated that more drastic measures have been considered  but it was eventually decided that they could potentially endanger the life of Dilara Haghighi which is still on death row in Slava for her faith and has had her execution set for when she turns eighteen. The same sources say that Foreign Office is moderately optimistic that the Slavan government will not proceed with the execution.

The Supreme Ayatollah lead the evening service and gave a sermon where he talked about the recent incidents. He has named the 63 Tamorans who were killed by Slavans as martyrs for the faith adding that now Slava has Tamoran blood on its hands. Since the 63 killed Tamorans have been given the status the martyrs, the Supreme Ayatollah has said that he wants their bodies to be sent to Tamora to be given a proper and dignified burial in the Djerb Cemetery of Heroes. He has personally went to the Slavan embassy in Djerb to deliver a petition asking for the bodies of the 63 Tamorans to be sent to Tamora on the Church's expense.

After delivering his petition, the Supreme Ayatollah said a prayer in public. Many Tamorans joined him.

Should the Slavan authorities agree to the request, the 63 martyrs will be burred in the Djerb Cemetery of Heroes:

The moderate response offered by the Tamoran government and the leadership of the Church was not well received by many of the faithful. All social media platforms of the Tamoran internet have shared the insulting statements given by the Slavan President. Many of those sharing were asking how long will the Tamoran government tolerate his campaign of eradication of Tamorans in Slava.

Spoiler: how the Tamoran internet sees the Slavan President • show

Edited pictured of the Slavan President are trending on Tamoran social media:

And almost always feature his infamous statements:

Tamorans are "pack of wild animals, with subhuman intelligence and no moral or higher purpose...They should all be in chains, no better then a manged dog."

The killing of the 63 Tamorans by Slavan authorities has lead some foreign nations to take actions against Slava Lavosk. The Fist Empire of Rokkenjima has issued sections targeted at high ranking officials while the King of East Moreland has issued a ban on selling any more Smartwar military equipment to Slava or offer support to the equipments already sold. It remains to be seen if these sanctions will have any effect of the Slavan authorities.

While Slava Lavosk brings us misery everyday, Royal Seleucid gives us a reason to celebrate

The Seleucid Royal family has announced that the king's forth wife, Queen Oksana, is now pregnant. That will be the sixth child of the king of Royal Seleucid. Queen Oksana and the King have spent their honeymoon in Tamora and the Queen met the Tamoran Imperial family. Alya Safavid has offered congratulations on behalf of the Empire. Many Tamorans sent letters of congratulations to the Seleucid embassy in Djerb or posted messages on the page of the embassy on the various social media channels. The Royal family of the federated kingdom of West Seleucid also issued a statement congratulating the royal couple.

Other news in brief:

The Tamoran embassy in Lodja has issued a statement of support for the Lodjan government on the recent kidnapping of one if its members by the Borlanders. Furthermore, the embassy announced that during the Friday evening prayers, Anna Utkin's name will be mentioned alongside Dilara Haghighi. It seems that Tamorans are not the only ones who have noticed Lodja is effectively a failed state. Unfortunately for Lodja, unlike Tamora others have taken advantage of this.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

"The time for timidity has passed; it is now time for action"

Dilara Highaghi's crucifixion will be forever remembered by all Tamorans

The nation is in shock following the execution of Dilara and her father by the Slavan authorities. Despite repeated and sustained pressure which ranged from massive protests in Djerb, to protest in space or international pressure in which various world leaders, including those like King Andrew which is not famous for liking Tamorans, asked the Slavan president to not cross that line, the Slavans proceed to execute her anyways. Their crime? Both her and her father were practicing their faith openly and publicly displaying their cultural heritage. To make matters worse, the manner in which the execution took place, the brutality displayed, the tremendous pain caused to the two and the clear symbolic message of mockery towards all of us has understandably enraged many of us. Mere minutes after news of the execution reached the nation, Emperor Abbas made an address to the Empire:

Emperor Abbas delivering his speech to the Empire

Quote
“Dear Tamorans, we have seen today the brutal murder of a father and his daughter by the government which was supposed to protect them and defend their rights. Despite our protests, the Slavan authorities continue to persecute the citizens that have Tamoran descent. They have put them in detainment camps under horrible conditions; stole their belongings, tortured and murdered them. We have used all possible means to reason with the Slavans, all except for one. A couple of minutes ago I have instructed the embassy in Slava Lavosk to formally present to the Slavan authorities an ultimatum: they are to release all Slavans of Tamoran descent currently in detainment camps, return all of their belongings and cede control of Medak Pocket* region to Tamora by the end of the week. Slava Lavosk has demonstrated to the world that it is engaged in ethnic cleansing in the Medak Pocket and thus Tamora will assume control of the region to protect the Tamoran minority there. I have instructed the Imperial Armed Forces to make the necessary preparations to carry out that ultimatum. The time for timidity has passed; it is now time for action.

I would like to end by quoting our Prophet when he said that those who follow him will receive the “greatest of gifts: solidarity like no other you have seen before.” We will show our brothers and sisters that are now detained in Slavan camps that we have not forgotten them and that we will come to their rescue. Please pray for them to hold on a little longer until we arrive.
God bless Tamora!”

Immediately after the Emperor’s speech, the Ministry of War has announced that it has raised the threat level to the highest level, which is described as “attack imminent” and has canceled all leaves for military personnel indefinitely.

The Emperor has also decreed national mourning in all the empire until the end of the week. All festivities such as concerts will be canceled; all imperial institutions including embassies will fly the flag at half-staff. Tamorans are encouraged to attend religious services and pray for the souls of Dilara and her father.

In the following hours the Foreign Office has also issued a series of measures:

-All Tamoran embassy staff in Slava will be recalled and the embassy closed. All the staff of the Slavan embassy in Tamora have been designated personae non gratae and have been asked to leave the Empire in the next 72h.
-All flights to Slava have been cancelled indefinitely.
-All commercial activity with Slava (import or export) has been suspended indefinitely.
-All Tamorans living in Slava are urged to return home immediately.
-All Slavan citizens residing in Tamora are asked to leave the Empire in the next 72 h. Mixt families (Tamoran-Slavan) are to report to the nearest police station and, after a background check, will be granted Tamoran citizenship.

Analysts commenting on the situation have said that now Tamora has effectively ended all official channels of communication with Slava. Some have made a parallel with similar events that took place 1958 just before Tamora annexed the then independent kingdom of Attica. Sources close to the Ministry of War have said that during the afternoon, Morad Kadyrov, owner of the largest arms manufacturing business in Tamora has attended a private meeting with various high ranking individuals form the military and army. Kadyrov Industries have not confirmed the information but have instead confirmed that they recalled all essential personnel from their vacations and their staff are expected work overtime in the manufacturing plants.

The Supreme Ayatollah has announced that he will lead tomorrow’s religious service in the Great Temple of Djerb. His sermon, which will broadcast live, is expected to surpass all previous records in viewership.
Today was a dark day in Tamora’s long and troubled history. Our team at TINS expresses our condolences to the mother of Dilara. We will pray for her and for the thousands of Tamorans detained in Slava.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

*OOC: "The area around Medak, commonly referred to as the Medak Pocket, has long been a zone of contention. Geogrphically, it is on the other side of the Lavosk mountains, and a natural continuation of the Tamoran lowlands. It has a high percentage of people who claim Tamoran heritage, as well. The city of Medak and the Medak Pocket, however, is still primarily Slavic. There has been a small but growing movement in the pocket for separation from Slava Lavosk over the last few decades." The sermon of the Supreme Ayatollah

The sermon of the Supreme Ayatollah

The Supreme Ayatollah of Tamora

Yesterday was no ordinary day, Dilara's tragic end and the announcement of the ultimatum have reached all corners of Mundus. Some nations, like New Derusmia, chose to immediately react and issue an embargo against Slava Lavosk for their executions.  As the extraordinary events of yesterday started to sink in, more questions started to arise. Many of us wondered how their lives will change starting from next week, what can they do to help the war effort, what will happen once our forces liberate our people currently detained in Slava’s detainment camps, how long will the (almost inevitable) war last ? There are many questions, of course various analysts and experts did their best to present their opinion on the matter. During the day, TINS has also hosted several talk shows where military and foreign policy experts presented their assessments on the current situation. In the end however, it was the Supreme Ayatollah that gave us the clarity we needed. His entire sermon was focused on the current events:

Quote

Beloved followers of the Prophet, yesterday’s events have shocked all us to the core. Our beloved Dilara was tortured to death by Slavans. Despite months of ordeals and humiliation the Slavans could not make her renounce her faith and her allegiance to the Tamoran people. Having to choose between betraying her faith and torture, she chose to suffer every single day until her captors have given up and decided to brutally murder her. Though not even 18 years old, she understood that no matter how much one loves life and wishes to live it at its fullest, some things are more important than life itself: faith in God as prescribed by our Prophet and allegiance to Tamora. Her plight has made many of us to contemplate on what it means to be a believer in the word of the Prophet; it has united us and has strengthen our faith. So it should come as no surprise that our Church has delegated me to inform you all that Dilara will be elevated to the status of martyr of our faith. She is the first martyr of the XXI century and I fear she will not be the last. Though she is not with us any longer she will continue to be a guiding light for us, her sacrifice will be an inspiration and model for us to follow.

But dear faithful, now that we all know that Dilara is a martyr the next question should be who killed her, for she is not a martyr without a tormentor. We all know that she died at the hands of the Slavans. Their leader has recently even called publicly for a crusade against us, the Second Great War. Their crusade against us has started; the first victims were the Tamorans outside our borders that were powerless to defend themselves. Make no mistake, the Slavans and whoever joins them, dream of doing to all of us what they did to Dilara. It is for this reasons that during the last day of the Synod, when the doors where closed to the public, we have decided that should the Slavans execute Dilara, a jihad will be called. All those attending the synod, signed in blood, the written proclamation of Jihad and we will put in on display in this Temple for all to see. We signed it in blood just as our Prophet did a millennium ago when he called for the first Jihad.

As is our tradition, the Jihad had a stated goal: the conquest of Sarajevo and bringing the leaders of Slava in chains to this great Temple where the Supreme Judge of the Empire will sentence them to slavery as punishment for their crimes and compensation for the victims. We have seen the laws of the Slavans in action; it is now time for them to see how our laws work.

Before I conclude, I would like to address one final point. Many have asked, now that the time for conflict is near, if they should show mercy to the Slavans. And my response is that all Tamorans are duty bound to show them the same mercy they have shown Dilara, to answer their calls for clemency as they have answered us, to give them the same treatment our people received in their detainment camps. Anything more would be treason to those that have suffered at the hands of the Slavans.

The fatwa (issued by the Synod of our Church calling for a Jihad against Slava Lavosk) is on display in the Great Temple of Djerb

Following the sermon, things are now much clearer for all of us. What can we do to help the war? Whatever it takes. How long will it last? As long as it takes to defeat Slava. The XXth Jihad in our history has started and God willing we will prevail.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

King Akakois of Royal Seleucid is dead; The nation continues to mourn Dilara
« Reply #55 on: January 30, 2019, 06:52:13 PM »
King Akakois of Royal Seleucid is dead

The flag of the Emirate of Royal Seleucid

Earlier today officials from Royal Seleucid have announced that King Akakois died of a heart attack. The news was unexpected as the king was in good health and there have been no signs that he was suffering from any illness. Crown Prince Hadi has now assumed leadership of the Emirate and has said his first order of business is to restore order and stability in the kingdom following the recent domestic incidents and external threats. While the future king has never visited Tamora before, he shares a connection with our nation by having the Tamoran born Cassiopeia Vasilakisas as his personal spiritual adviser.

King Akakois was a friend of Tamora and a personal friend of Emperor Abbas. It is therefore no surprise that the Imperial family has expressed the “deepest regrets “ for the death of King Akakois , praising his leadership on the international stage and assuring future king Hadi of Tamora’s continual friendship and support. The Imperial family was not alone in publicly expressing their condolences; various high raking officials have done so including the royal family of the federated kingdom of West Seleucid. Furthermore, all Anahitaist temples in West Seleucid and the rest of Tamora have announced special religious services to commemorate the death of the King Akakois.

While King Akakois did not share the faith of the Prophet, he nevertheless earned the respect of many in Djerb. That is why many regular people chose to express pay their respects to the late king, each in theor own way.

Spoiler:  the people of Djerb pay their respects to King Akakois • show

Many chose to go to the Seleucid embassy and say a prayer for the late king.

Others felt it was more appropriate to leave flowers at the gates of the embassy.

King Akakois will be missed by many; he will forever be remembered as a courageous leader that was not afraid to stand alone against entire coalitions of countries in order to defend the interests of his kingdom. He was the voice of reason in a Mundus that is becoming increasingly unreasonable.

The nations prepares for the inevitable war

There have been numerous reports around the country of large redeployment of troops to the federated kingdom of Vojvodina. Experts say that the Imperial Army has begun to move troops and heavy equipment to to Vojvodina and the border with Slava in anticipation of future hostilities. The Imperial army has refused to comment on specific actions but has stated that it has begun executing the order of the Emperor and makes all preparations in case Slava decides to ignore the Emeper’s ultimatum.

There have also been reports of thousands of people living the villages and towns near the border with Slava as a precautionary measure. Many families have chosen to temporary move the Vojvodina’s capital or even Djerb.

The third day of mourning

Tens of thousands have took to the streets to mourns our latest martyr and it seems that the seven days of national mourning will be insufficient time to fully express the pain the nation is feeling.

Now that our Church has declared her a martyr, it is now appropriate for the faithful to the say the Prayer of Martyrs when referring to her.

And of course many of us have felt a deep pain similar to losing a close family member. That is how deep Dilara touched our hearts.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

More and more Tamorans are asking to close the Tamoran-Seleucid border

More and more Tamorans are asking to close the Tamoran-Seleucid border

TINS has a new colleague from our sister network in Zimalia.
During national mourning black is the appropriate color to wear.

The food crisis that hit our neighbor, Royal Seleucid, so hard has also affected Tamora but to a lesser degree. Every Tamorans has felt the surge in food prices but unlike in neighboring Seleucid, there have been no food storage in our stores. It comes to no surprise then that some Seleucid citizens are now traveling to Tamora to buy food and bring it back home. This week, the imperial government has eased access for Seleucid citizens entering via the Tamoran-Seleucid border in an effort to provide some relief on the Seleucid people. However, the recent influx of Seleucid citizens has increased demand of food in Tamora and has further exacerbated the increase in prices food leaving many Tamorans, especially those in federated kingdom West Seleucid, upset over this. Some of them have taken to the streets to protest and demand that the Tamoran-Seleucid border be temporary closed until the current crisis will be resolved. The issue has reached national stage with Tamorans being divided on the issue. Over ten thousand took to the street in the capital of West Seleucid to ask for a closing of the border. As the weekend draws closer, it is expected that at least one hundred thousand people will attend the protests in the following days. Various VIPs have also expressed publicly their opinion on the issue:

“Closing the border is the only sensible solution available. The country is getting ready for war, we must be laser focused on the war effort. After we are done with the Slavans, we can then reassess our position. The idea that somehow animosity towards the Seleucids is driving us is ludicrous. We lock our houses during the night not because we hate the people outside but because we love the people inside. And let's not forget that we are helping the Seleucids, right now the Slavans have amassed their troops on the Seleucid border. By defeating the Slavans, Royal Seleucid has as much to gain as Tamora.”

Gholam Dabiri, owner of Jalal Deer Agricultural Conglomerate

“The Seleucids are now in dire need of help, they are threatened by the Slavans, more than half a dozen nations have sent their navies near Seleucid and one religious minority in their country is asking to be ruled by foreign powers rather than their king. While all this is taking place, they are facing a food crisis like never seen before in Midaranye and recently their beloved king Akakios has died. To close the border now will send the Seleucid people the message that they can find more generosity in the overseas nations that have brought them food than in their own neighbors. The Seleucids have kept the border open when nation after nation were sanctioning Tamora, we should return the favor. “

High Priestess (Anahitaist) of the federated kingdom of West Seleucid

The Imperial government has so has refused to make any comments other than to reaffirming their commitment to keeping the border open. We will keep you update as the situation develops.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

Dilara’s body returns home
« Reply #57 on: February 08, 2019, 07:56:07 PM »

Dilara’s body returns home

Dilara returns home

In a surprising turn of events, the body of Dilara and her father were transferred to Tamora. Marko Vasic, the Christian bishop of Slava, managed to shame the Slavan authorities into giving him and his followers the two lifeless bodies which they later transferred to us. They had to use such pressure because for the Slavan authorities even the dead bodies were a threat to them.

The two bodies are now home and preparations have started for them to be given a martyrs’ funeral. We say brought home, because even if Dilara was born in Slava, her birth country did not accept her, persecuted her for being one of us and eventually killed her. It is in Tamora that she will be resting in peace and it is Tamora that can claim to be her home.

Dilara’s body has been wrapped in white as a symbol of her purity. Her coffin will be brought to each of the federated kingdoms of Tamora, giving the faithful a chance to mourn her, before bringing her to Djerb where she will be laid to rest in the Mausoleum of Martyrs.

Dilara’s final resting place will be in sharp contrast with the pains she endured during her short life and the gruesome death she experienced.

While the national mourning is for Dilara and the Tamorans that have died at the hands of the Slavans, relatives of the Tamorans imprisoned in Slava did their best to remind us that there are still thousands of our brothers in faith suffering daily for following the Prophet.

The Supreme Ayatollah has said that he will personally hold the burial service of Dilara and has expressed thanks to the Slavan bishop that returned her body adding that the gesture will be remembered. He was however adamant that the fatwa will not be annulled because “retribution and justice have yet to be served. While the gesture will not be forgotten it is also worth to note that finally the Slavans have slowly begun to become aware of the gravity of the crime that they have committed and, more importantly, and to comprehend the retribution that awaits them in this life not just the one beyond. As we look on TV at the coffin holding the body of our beloved Dilara, I want you all to think of the pain that she endured until the end. We are duty bound to carry on with the Jihad and not relent. We owe it to Dilara, we owe it to the dozens of Tamorans that died at the hands of the Slavans and we owe it to the thousands that are waiting for us to free them and avenge their suffering. “

The Slavan authorities also issued a statement rejecting the ultimatum issued by our Emperor. It now seems that the war with Slava is all but inevitable.

Why sometimes it is best to not speak at all

The nation of Xæth has decided to increase their level of involvement on the international stage by considering the possibility of prohibiting their people from trading with the nations of Midaranye. While Xæth has said it will be gracious and allow the people of Royal Seleucid to buy food from them now that prices are high, it is unlikely that they will allow this to continue in the future when prices will drop. They have added that they do not seek to cause undue suffering to the people of Seleucid which implies that the suffering caused to Tamorans, who will lose their jobs and thus not be able to feed their children or even risk enslavement, is warranted. It is for this reasons that we here at TINS urge Xæth to return to their isolation and their monarch to think before she acts.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

The Empire of Quintelia announces its support for Tamora

The Empire of Quintelia announces its support for Tamora

QRB Enterprise ll en route for Tamora

The Empire of Quintelia, a fellow member of OPEN, has announced that it will provide support to Tamora by sending the turtle class Helicopter dock, QRB Enterprise ll, escorted by a Salamander class destroyer and three Griffin class frigates to Tamora to assist our Armed Forces against Slava Lavosk. The convoy will also have several civilian ships carrying supplies which are desperately needed in neighboring Royal Seleucid. Quintelian representatives have said that the aim of this deployment is the preservation of peace and that the taskforce is ready to engage in all types of missions should the situation in Midaranye deteriorate further. While the Quintelian government has committed to the effort, opinion at home remains mostly antiwar and is split about supporting the government’s involvement in Midaranye.

Tamoran officials have welcomed the show of support from Quintelia and have instructed the Tamoran imperial fleet to coordinate with the Quintelian task force as soon as they arrive in the region. The Quintelian taskforce is expected to dock at the main port in the federated kingdom of Attica and will deploy an estimated two thousand soldiers and one thousand aid workers along with supplies. After their arrival, the Quintelian forces will then coordinate with the Tamoran ones and begin to bring relief to the Royal Seleucid as well as begin joint operations with the Tamoran Armed Forces.  Sources say the ships will station in the Attican port pending further developments in Midaranye.

While the empire of Quintelia is the first nation to show its support for the Tamoran government, it is however not the only one to take a stand against Slava Lavosk. The First Empire of Rokkenjiman has also issued a sharp rebuttal of the demands issued by Slava, which ordered the Rokkenjiman fleet to withdraw from the Gulf of Auraxis and its vicinity before Slava would agree to any dialogue with the First Empire. The First Empire so far has not caved in to the demands of the Slavans saying that “Kravic doesn’t tell the IRN where to go”.

It seems more and more nations are growing tired of the bellicose attitude of the Slavans.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

OOC: I have the approval of Major Jaws.

Can Slava wipe Djerb off the map? Other news: OPEN embargoes Slava
« Reply #59 on: February 15, 2019, 09:46:26 PM »
Can Slava wipe Djerb off the map?

If God forbid, Djerb would be hit by thermonuclear bomb it would be the greatest catastrophe in the history of the Empire

The Ministry of War (MoW) has confirmed the suspicions raised by the Seaforth general regarding Slava’s potential development of thermonuclear weapons. In a short statement, MoW has stated “that according to our assessments, Slava is on the brink of developing the thermo nuclear weapons” and gave assurances that the “Imperial Armed forces have taken measures to mitigate the risk that poses to the Empire” but has also warned that while the measures in place offer “adequate protection” only “a total victory against Slava Lavosk can eliminate the risk”.

This latest information proves one again just how right was the Supreme Allytolah when he said he would not call off the Jihad against Slava and urged us not to relent.

OPEN issues embargo* against Slava

Following the appeal of Emperor Abbas, OPEN members have agreed to issue a full embargo on oil and gas against Slava Lavosk. While Tamora’s oil and gas exports to Slava have long been reduced to zero, having the other members of OPEN, Quintelia and Royal Seleucid, embargo Slava is a blow to the Slavans as they will be forced to find a different supplier in a short amount of time.

The Quintelian fleet docked in the federated kingdom of Attica*

More goods news comes as the Quintelian fleet has docked in the federated kingdom of Attica and had begun unloading supplies for us and our friends in Seleucid. Along with supplies, the Quintelian fleet has also brought around one thousand aid workers that will help distribute the supplies in our aid centers near the Seleucid border.

The Imperial Armed Forces mobilize the reserves

The spokesperson for the Armed forces has announced that the Armed forces have begun a partial mobilization of the reserve personnel. Those called by the Empire to serve will have to pass a heath exam and then will undergo a three months period of reskilling to get them up to standard.
Some analysts were quick to point out that this is the first indication that the almost inevitable war with Slava is expected to run for months if not years with heavy casualties expected.

Kadyrov Industries announce failed launch

Kadyrov Industries have released a press statement informing the public of the failed launch of their rocket which was supposed to take into space a military satellite for the Armed forces. The company had previously announced that the launch has been pushed three months ahead of schedule because of national security developments. However, it would seem that the rush did not go well for the operation. The company also stated that while the launch failed, the satellite is intact and that a future launch will be scheduled as soon as possible.

Until next time: God bless the Emperor! God bless Tamora!

*OOC: I have the okay from Major Jaws and I assumed Lyeia (the other member of OPEN) is inactive.
