ATTACKS COMMITTED BY BORLAND SEPARATISTS AS SEEN BY PRESIDENT DANILO PEJIC

4 states, Lodja, Ui Cenneslaig, East Moreland, and Nya Aland have fallen to several bombings committed by terrorists associating with the unrecognized state of the Kingdom of Borland, and local sources from those areas have reported and confirmed 62 deaths. The acts perpetrated by the Borland dissidents has clearly been an act of terror for the motives of independence. Danilo Pejic hours after the bombings has made a statement in regards to said attacks.

"My condolences go out towards the casualties of these heinous acts committed by these said Borlander separatists and their overlord Kyle Barren. Our hopes are for justice against Kyle Barren, and that this act of terror shall not justify recognition of the Principality of Northern Borland, despite this we shall refrain from ever recognizing the state and we shall enforce our neutrality unless our intervention in this concurrent situation shall be vindicated. I wholeheartedly send my greatest condolences to the families and my expectations for justice and suppression of the Borlander separatists and Kyle Barren will be at an apex. And that this group for the independence of the Kingdom of Borland shall be identified as a terrorist organization..."

LAST LIVING GENERAL SECRETARY OF THE UNION OF ARSTOTZKA DIES AT 80

Ernst Ulbas, the 2nd to last general secretary of the Union Arstotzka, who gained power in 1975 before resigning from his position in 1992, has died of Melanoma after having fought it for over a year. Dell Honecker, the leader of the Bolshevik party and a member of the big 5 of the parliament, has released his condolences to the Ulbas family hours after his death. Being among the last of the leaders of Arstotzka, his passing marks to an official end to historically political association with the former state. His resignation was in part due to the steady rise in instability during that time, and due to such resignation, a revolution in 1994 overthrew the Union of Arstotzka in order to form the Valokchian Federation.

Despite such circumstances in the early 90s, Ernst Ulbas will be remembered as an important leader in Arstotzka as his reforms in the late 70s to 80s transformed the nation into a market socialist economy. And he will always be remembered as a contributing member to the Valokchian society...

AUTOPSY REPORT CONFIRMS INTENTIONAL POISONING AT MORDVINA COFFEE COMPANY

An incident hours ago that led to the death of a patron at the Mordvina Coffee Company, in which an opioid of Carfentanyl has been found in the bloodstream which likely was the cause of death for Edgar Zankias. And it was somewhat obvious that the Borland situation could likely be connected to the said incident as it was publicly stated by Kyle Barren that 3000 sugar packets were shipped off to countries and were used in several coffee businesses around Mundus. The video showcasing Kyle Barren and one of the founders of SmartWar, Richard James whom was nearly killed in the video after being demonstrated on. This could be regarded as not an attack against Valokchia but an attack against Mundus, but will soon be considered by the heads of parliament, the prime minister, and president Danilo Pejic as there could be potential for much more of the laced packets in Valokchia...

DELL HONECKER CONFIDENT IN 2019 ELECTIONS

With presidential elections approaching in March of 2019, the big 5 within the parliament have been preparing to rally in order to be voted by the people on March 11. Dell Honecker of the Bolshevik party, although his party not the main opposition of the Republican Freedom coalition, is optimistic the Bolshevik party that formerly led the Union of Arstotzka from 1934 to 1994, will re-emerge to become the leading party of Valokchia. Having been the general secretary of the Bolsheviks since 2005, Dell Honecker was only closest in the 2014 election that led to Danilo Pejic gaining the main office at Gediminas Palace in Mordvina. An interview by one of our journalists recorded his optimism in the upcoming election in the coming months...

"Mr. Honecker, giving how you recorded 104 electoral votes in the 2014 election and losing to Danilo Pejic, what are your hopes for 2019?"

"I am extremely, extremely confident my actions will lead me to Gediminas Palace. People must understand that the Union of Arstotzka was beneficial to the people that lived in that era and my hopes for re-emerging it will be beneficial to all 80 million of us. They need to understand oppression by the bourgeoise is present everywhere we are, and I plan to fix it progressively, the lack of international relations with other neighboring states and others gave peace to our people from international disturbance. We need to change our current stances on the economy for us to transform it so that the entire population can benefit as a whole and can benefit this country as a whole..."

SHOOTING AT BENEDICT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL IN GREAT RAPID LEAVES 15 INJURED, NO DEATHS

Later today, several hundred shots were fired at Benedict Catholic High School in Great Rapid, Korista, that left 3 teachers and 12 students non-fatally injured. The assailant who had perpetrated the attack has been apprehended and identified as 39-year-old Sakas Willis, his current motives as to why he had committed the attack are currently unknown. Further investigation, he had entered the campus of the school at 12:31 PM during the school's lunchtime and had fired upon several students and teachers with an AKM assault rifle that was unregistered. As of now, Sakas is now in custody of Great Rapid police, and the 15 victims are currently recovering from non-fatal bullet wounds. This was the 2nd school shooting this year, with the last only resulting in 2 deaths in Andzheles.

PRESIDENT DANILO PEJIC UNEXPECTEDLY DIES AT 57

President Danilo Pejic has been found dead in his office of unknown causes later today as Presidential Service members discovered his body slumped down in his chair. There were no traces of blood or trauma at the scene, but coroners will later find out the cause of death in an autopsy. This also marks a sudden end to his term as he only served 4 years in office, and this also marks the first time a Valokchian president ever died in office. As of now, Prime Minister Dimitry Kaminsky has taken the position of currently acting president of Valokchia, with a vote by the Valokchian Council to be hosted on October 15, and will involve voting for either one of the voivodeship governors, the incumbent Speaker of the Valokchian Council, and acting President Kaminsky. Danilo Pejic will be remembered, especially in the most controversial passing of a law cutting welfare in hopes of raising employment, which lowered from 15% to 10% from 2008 to 2018.

THE COUNCIL NOMINATES CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENTIAL APPOINTMENT

The Council, as apart of the constitution following the president's death, has appointed acting president Dimitry Kaminsky, Speaker of the Council Gabija Milinyte, and the 6 governors of the Voivodeships. The Council will vote on Monday (15 October), to elect and appoint the next president up until the general election in March. This is the very first time that a successor appointment election has happened thanks to Danilo Pejic's death. An autopsy report by coroners determined Danilo Pejic's cause of death to be a Pulmonary Embolism caused by Deep Vein Thrombosis, which was likely kept a secret by Danilo Pejic for unknown reasons. Though as of yet, these are the list of candidates to be voted for by the 500 members of the Valokchian Council.
