Luzhniki Grand Sports Arena
Capacity: 90,000
Location: Luzhniki embankment 24, Khamovniki District, Kislev
Used for: Opening fixture, 1 Semi Final, Final
General information: Luzhniki Grand Sports Arena is the national stadium of Krimeon and its largest. The name Luzhniki derives from the flood meadows in the bend of Krim River where the stadium was built, translating roughly as "The Meadows". In the past its field has been used as the home ground (at various times) for football games played by local teams CSKA Krimeon, Spartak Krimeon and Torpedo Krimeon, however, there are currently no clubs based at the stadium. The stadium is used from time to time for various other sporting events and for concerts. It is also used to host Krimeonite domestic cup finals. Luzhniki forms part of the Luzhniki Sports Complex and is surrounded by other sports facilities and parks. Its location right on the river Krim is pleasant on a summer’s day, but there is little around in terms of eating and drinking besides food stalls, which can therefore better be done in central Krimeon City. If you’re into a bit of culture though, the nearby Novodevichy Convent is well worth a visit, while the Krimeon State University building on the opposite side of the Krim river is one of Krimeon’s best-known landmarks.

Strelka Stadium
Capacity: 55,000
Location: Betankura st., 1A, Kislev

General information: The Strelka stadium design follows the classic style and uses a palette of white, blue and azure that is associated with the nature of the Krimeon Sea region and the elements of water and wind. Strelka Stadium is picturesquely located on the banks of the river Krim just outside of Krimeon City’s centre. It is a fairly quiet area that mainly consists of residential buildings, but right next door there is a large shopping centre with various places to get something to eat. However, most will opt to eat and drink in Krimeon City’s pleasant city centre on the other bank of the river, either around the main pedestrian thoroughfare Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street, or closer to the river around Rozhdestvenskaya Street.
