Prime Minister Kaminsky looked out the giant window of his office in Gediminas Palace, the skies blue without a cloud in sight, the first day of the week without rain. He was preparing to speak at his nephew's wedding on Friday, an event he looks forward with great confidence and pride for his nephew's accomplishment in life to be married. A day of freedom among the week as it was usually piled with responses to e-mails, telegrams, and public speaking at the Confederal Assembly. Despite his 2nd place in leadership behind the president, it was a much more relaxing position than what his superior Danilo Pejic had.

Out of the blue, a suited, red-tied man bursts into his office with Kaminsky reacting with surprise. They had their index and middle finger to their right ear which an earpiece of was fitted into, speaking into it with a tone of great concern. Kaminsky glanced at the guard with a cocked eyebrow and a crinkled nose, he stood up from his leather chair while pushing the keyboard of his computer aside, looking up at the guard towering over him.

"Is there something wrong?" Dimitry Kaminsky asks, remarking at the tone of voice in the man,
"Yes." He says with a nod, swallowing, a man in his late 30s, green eyes, brown hair with streaks of gray at the temples who was about 6'2", "I came to inform you that the president is dead." He responds in monotone, his face showed that he was genuine about his response. Kaminsky kept a blank look in response, as he was simply trying to search for a reply to the guard.
"Oh." He softly responds finally, "But... How? He was fine yesterday!"
"We don't know, he died minutes ago." They respond, glancing back over to the door, "We have just dispatched a coroner, they are going to arrive in just a few minutes."
Kaminsky curses under his breath, "Can I see him? Can I see him now?" He says in demand, the guard obliges, gesturing him to follow him.

His main office was only a hallway down, 2 guards would run beside Kaminsky, nearly bumping into him as they were in a rush to hopefully catch the coroner expected to arrive in minutes. It was clear something was wrong as everybody around them looked anxious, worried, and restless. And that could be apparent when they arrived into the doors to the presidential office, the panicked chatter was in the office, several people who were dressed in the same apparel as to the man who informed Kaminsky. The front desk had Danilo Pejic was slumped down in his office chair, head tilted down towards the ground and looked way too relaxed. As everybody else in the room noticed Kaminsky's presence, they immediately ceased their chatter, looking down at him as Kaminsky was staring at the body of the Valokchian president with his hands behind his back. He continued blankly keeping an eye on the lifeless body, a man in a black collar shirt with bright yellow letters "KORONERIS" or "CORONER", appears behind him, having blue latex gloves on his hand, and a crew of two other people with a gurney.

"So might I ask." Kaminsky says, stepping to the left to give the coroners clearance, "Who will be the president?" That was the most important question in the political stance, the other question was to how Danilo Pejic's death occurred.
"Well, in accordance with the constitution, you are to take office as acting president of the Valokchian Confederation." They respond, the steps towards full presidency was to be voted for it by the council, Kaminsky, nodding as it takes two to set the overweight dead man onto the gurney.
"Alright." Kaminsky nonchalantly says, "He is in the Lord's hands now..." He then follows afterward, continuing to stare at Danilo Pejic as he began to be carried out of the room as Kaminsky took his new title of acting president, and it is now the power of the Council of Valokchia to vote and decide on the successor of Danilo Pejic.

To the Kingdom of East Moreland,

Following the recent attacks against your country, along with the many dead that were citizens of your land, and due to it, I give my greatest condolences to your government and the families that lost their loved ones thanks to the Borlander separatists. Our stances are with East Moreland in this situation at the moment and right now in our re-considering of emerging once again on the international stage is confirmed, and I would like to extend a hand out to the nations of Alba Karinya. And what better way to contact with the main power of the continent that is East Moreland, and I vow to tour the continent in order to speak with delegates on the continent in order to promote peace and goodwill between Valokchia and the Alba Karinyan states, and I shall request an invite to Northfort to summit between your leaders in order to discuss a positive future for the both of our countries...

To Sovereign King Andrew III, and the Kingdom of Seaforth,

The recent terrorist attacks at Bethesda has been especially horrifying and utterly disgusting to our government and our population. Due to this, we will send our greatest condolences to the dead among the bombings that took place in Bethesda. In the wakening of the wave of attacks committed by Borlander separatists, we have considered extending a hand out to the government of Seaforth in regards to strengthening ties up to the fullest extent. As both of us are sharing land borders, it is best to strengthen ties between us in order to get a sense of unity and goodwill knowing that both of our nations will be protected by each other. And to that, I, Danilo Pejic, would like to request an invite to Eventide to meet King Andrew III to discuss future relations between our states. And we hope that this connection between Valokchia and Seaforth will also bring more opportunity to connect with other nations that have the ties we desire best towards the Kingdom of Seaforth.

4 states, Lodja, Ui Cenneslaig, East Moreland, and Nya Aland have fallen to several bombings committed by terrorists associating with the unrecognized state of the Kingdom of Borland, and local sources from those areas have reported and confirmed 62 deaths. The acts perpetrated by the Borland dissidents has clearly been an act of terror for the motives of independence. Danilo Pejic hours after the bombings has made a statement in regards to said attacks.

"My condolences go out towards the casualties of these heinous acts committed by these said Borlander separatists and their overlord Kyle Barren. Our hopes are for justice against Kyle Barren, and that this act of terror shall not justify recognition of the Principality of Northern Borland, despite this we shall refrain from ever recognizing the state and we shall enforce our neutrality unless our intervention in this concurrent situation shall be vindicated. I wholeheartedly send my greatest condolences to the families and my expectations for justice and suppression of the Borlander separatists and Kyle Barren will be at an apex. And that this group for the independence of the Kingdom of Borland shall be identified as a terrorist organization..."

I have been with this region since June of 2016, and I am slowly approaching my 2nd year with TIO. Sadly, due to my overall lost in interest with my IC nation, I am deciding to retire completely from any form of roleplay due to the fact I have lost all commitment. Any roleplays I have done in the past have usually been badly managed and garnered little to no attention, or I just didn't escalate it at all.  These 2 years with this region have been fun nonetheless,  but my chances of coming back are likely slim, and even if I do decide to return I will still have no dedication whatsoever to try and incorporate myself as a nation in Mundus. The only person I shall need to thank is DaveIronside, as we have both known each other a few years before I even joined TIO, and the fact that we have both been friends for that likely amount of time.  I thank all users that I have participated with in RP, and to all that have ever been apart of this giant system of roleplays. I will still be somewhat active on Discord, but that should not mean I will pursue towards all roleplay associated with The Independent Order in the future.

UP TO 300 REPORTED CASES OF BUBONIC PLAGUE THROUGHOUT BASHAHR
An upwards of 300 people, have been infected with the Bubonic Plague, as a result from a rare outbreak originating in Seleucid. As it was reported yesterday of the start of the outbreak in Bashahr, 24 have been confirmed dead from the Yersinia Pestis bacterium, the bacteria that causes the plague. Health Minister Sam Almasi recently had a say on this recent outbreak of the disease at a recent emergency parliament meeting, which was broadcasted publicly...

It is horrifyingly bizarre that a bacteria this rare has infected this many people within such a short period of time, as we have gotten a number larger than how many are usually infected in a year in a much shorter span. But, the chances of this turning onto a scale larger than the Black Death, are hopefully very, very slim, just as we cooperate as a nation to defeat this epidemic. For right now, this disease is easy spreading, if you, or a loved one is experiencing swollen lymph nodes around the groin, neck, or armpit area, and is having muscle aches, a fever, headache, chills, and fatigue, check them into an emergency room immediately at a nearby hospital..."

Later this morning, Supreme Leader Sahl Al-Basher, after saying his preference to not reveal his opinion on the concurrent Utman situation in Lahkzovia, has broken the silence after being asked by a journalist of AQNN, saying in his statement

"the Utman separatists are breaking the integrity of the Lahkzov people, and is disrupting any sort of trade and a safe pass through borders, and we are well worried about the conflict spilling over onto our soil. If intervention is needed with cooperation from the government of Lahkzovia, I am more than happy to accept any form of said cooperation with Lahkzovia."

KAMINSKY SUPPORTS UTMAN INDEPENDENCE
The recent independence of Utman has made headlines over Mundus as it made a devastating territorial loss on Lahkzovia, almost splitting the country in two. Dimitry Kaminsky stated his full support for the independence of Utman, as he explained in his statement, "Lahkzovia is a nation known for the infamous genocides that stains it's history in the 20th-21st century, this is especially sickening for these genocides giving Arstotzka is bordered with Lahkzovia, and if in a time that tensions will break and a potential civil war breaks out, Arstotzka will hopefully support the Utman government, which we will not hesitate to do so, regardless of any natural obstacle."
