Release of the new Constitution
These are the most important articles of the new Constitution
Article 1. All Phuebran shall be equal before the law. They shall equally enjoy civil and political rights and shall equally be bound by public obligations and duties without any distinction.
Article 2. Phuebra is a Free Federal Republic the capital of which is Khyat.
Article 3. The Phuebran flag shall be composed of three vertical stripes, a blue stripe
between a red stripe on the left and a green stripe on the right. The width of the blue stripe shall be equal to that of the red and green stripes.
In the center are a white and a black fish forming a circle.
Article 4. The freedom to express one's opinion orally or in writing, the freedom of the press,
the freedom of assembly, and the freedom of association shall be guaranteed within the limits
established by law.
Article 7. the Senate shall be composed of elected members; their number and
the method of their election shall be determined by the electoral laws in effect. There shall always be equal representation between Buddhists and Muslims
Article 8. In The Free Republic of Phuebra there shall always be freedom of religion
Article 9. In The Free Republic of Phuebra there shall always be freedom of speech
Article 11. Khmer, Arab and English are the official national languages.
Article 21. The President is elected by the people of Phuebra and the Prime Minister is elected by the Senate. If the President is a Muslim then the Prime Minister shall be a Buddhist and vice versa. If it so happens to be that the elected President isn't a Buddhist or Muslim then the Speaker and Prime Minister shall be a Buddhist and Muslim
Article 22. Presidential elections shall be held every 4 years and every Phuebran older than 18 has the right to vote or be a candidate
Senate elections shall be held every 4 years
A Prime Minister shall be elected by the Senate every 4 years
The Speaker shall be elected by the Senate every 5 years
Article 36. The Free Federal Republic of Phuebra has the right to defend itself and to have an Armed Forces that shall protect and defend the Republic.
