Dragonaii of the Imperial Republic,
Only a few hours ago the nation of Rokkenjima placed sanctions upon the Imperial Republic, criticizing our method of liberty that Klaniau has bestowed upon our new brothers and sisters, these former slaves of Tamora. They claim it to be for the preservation of the peace, and for the protection of the continent. But we know this to be false. We welcome these new brethren, and we seek to destroy all slavery within our borders. Rokkenjima may accuse us as slavers, but as they liberate with their tiresome bureaucracy, we shall liberate subtly, in ways that shall not wake a lion. In both, we oppose slavery, our method simply different.

We, non-confrontationists that we are, have no quarrel with Rokkenjima. But we have no choice, for they hold quarrel with us and the nations of South Ardia. For years Rokkenjima has strived to hold control over Ardia, with the disastrous trans-Ardia railroad being its zenith. Yet they seek to encroach upon the development of the Southern Line, the railroad that will boost all nations of South Ardia. They wish to destroy what new world we seek to construct from the ruins of our First Imperial Republic and seek the path that they have forged for themselves.

Faneris is a cruel mistress, but I see the path that she has emblazoned for us. We shall take upon this endeavor to build the Southern Line no matter what, even if we must oil the wheels of the trains with our blood.

May Etervia give us the time, Faneris the light, and Klaniau the judgment to resist the influence of Rokkenjima.

Rokkenjima has replied to our declaration with a dagger covered in roses. At the same time, our friend New Derusmia has reached out to sanction them in return, only to be presented with a ultimatum of a 48-hour deadline. Our friends were forced to declare a state of emergency, placing themselves against Rokkenjima in this mess.

We refuse as a people to stand by idly as Rokkenjima continues to deny our brethren the right to their liberty. In response, I am announcing a national state of emergency and mobilization. We may die, but the liberty of our people will stand in our legacies!

Recently there have been talks of a news outlet calling itself the "The Open Eye" that has published fantastical tall tales to the public. By the Dragons' sake, I hope that you stick to fact and dismiss these publications as conspiracy theories while they are tracked down by the BIS on charges of Public Disturbance. Additionally, it is recommended that lest you believe these passages of nonsense, that you cross-check with sources across the Imperial Republic. After all, why are there so many libraries?

To the Foreign Office Of Tamora.

While we are unable to confirm nor deny the operational readiness or even existence of this "First Strike," we can at the very least appease worries by stating that the Imperial Republic will never utilize the resources of the Imperial Republic in such a manner. It is highly unlikely that the SDP would become the dominant party in the SICR, but should it succeed, Tamora may rely upon the efforts of the Imperial Supreme Court of the Libraries to immediately veto the action. The operation itself, again, if it even exists, is meant to act as a deterrent or "mutually assured annihilation" against a hostile nation in the case that the public shelters that are made to defend the population are destroyed by enemy actions. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that the SDP would attempt such an action and are far more likely to embrace isolationism once more. That being said, if such a device were to be used, it would likely contaminate a large portion of Mundus' environment, likely killing millions from starvation. The possibility of such an action, however, is far from Tamora, or any nation on Mundus' door.

Official Statement from the Imperial Throne and Electorate


In regards to the munitions fired at the "Sinsic"-SICR border and Rokkenjiman Naval Forces in "Sinsu":

The SICR IFC fired exactly 2.435 rounds of munition in the span of around three hours. All targets were that of military value, and none were targeting Islams or disrupting any gas-extraction operation. We have no interest in targeting the "diverse populations" nor the economic property of the region, only the rebel government that controls it.

To address the threat of war: The SICR has no intention of armed conflict and shall continue to maintain such stance unless the need arises, which is only in dire circumstances. We have no desire for another war against our fellow Chinese, even if they are against us, no matter what the imperialist-minded dragonaii may say.

Additionally, "The Federal Republic of Sinsu" has failed to recognize the sympathetic parties in the SICR who advocate peace and ignored the entire point of the War of Black Blood. Such political ignorance is infuriating to those friendly towards the Sinsic, many of whom even support Sinsic recognition as an independent state and even a few who support its admission into SANE.

The fact that Rokkenjiman naval forces have shown up uninvited so close to the SICR is also of great concern, and as such we demand the immediate withdrawal of foreign forces who understand absolutely nothing about these century-old politics.

The LAP and Librarius of the Three Dragons have even formally requested to welcome the faithful of the Dragons back into the larger Librarius, offering regular religious services.

It is such that we find the accusations made by Sinsu "Premier Deng" incredibly distasteful and devoid of thorough understanding.
