Emperor-Admiral Jingduming von Nanjing;
I am pleased by your response and shall welcome your Foreign Relations Minister in your stead.
Unfortunately I am incapable of agreeing to amending the position on the Kingdom concerning foreigners, should they be New Derusmian or not, who are found within our sovereign borders aiding the rebels. Imagine a scenario in which a separatist movement within your borders were killing your People, and you found within your borders Rokkenjimans who were there to aid them. Would you think twice about treating enemy combatants and prisoners of war as you would any other under your laws? The rebels lack any legitimacy and have committed several crimes against the Peoples of the lands they hold. The blood of my People which has been spilled demands that I treat any who would aid them for the enemies of the Clysperi Kingdom and People that they are.
I do look forward to discussing these, and other, issues with your Minister.
Akasha Di-‘nh-mi-Re, Sovereign of Sovereigns, Divine of Appearance, Beloved of Amun, Chosen of Ra, Lord of the Three Lands, Ruler of Justice like Ra, High Priest of Every Temple, the Eye of Horus, Satisfied is the heart of Ra.
With the flight being relayed and cleared with respects to the no-fly zone Pharaoh Akasha was on hand to personally welcome the Minister to Clysperis. As soon as they descended the stairs of the aircraft she motioned for them to follow her to an awaiting vehicle, which transported them to Khemnen Palace. The ride was quiet as Akasha allowed them to take in the sights and ancient splendor of the Kingdom. Once at the Palace, however, she engaged with more vigor.
"Mininister Jia-Weiyi, today I wish to discuss a variety of topics with your Government. Many of these focus upon the world as we know it today, a world order established by the internationalists and those within their orbit, and just how it derives its authority through a web of treaties and precedents or, as the Rokkenjimans often term the principles of their construct,
'international laws and norms.' This is a system which harms the interest of all nations, but especially those who strive for a maintenance of their sovereignty and the right to conduct their affairs with respect to their traditions and cultures, not those set forth by a handful of nations. To be certain these constructs aren't permanent, and the only reason they seem so today is the number of nations who perpetuate it, whether they realize their actions do or not. I see the SICR as a potential partner in giving birth to a new order, but it will depend on whether or not we can get beyond this present period."
"Perhaps you can understand my disappointment in your New Derusmian allies supporting the rebels presently terrorizing the Southern Lands," she continued, "In recent times my Kingdom has spoken out strongly against all these elements which are toxic to nations maintaining their sovereignty, it is not lost upon me that mantle has painted a target upon my back. Nekhtou sees subservience to the Rokkenjiman view of the world as a means to ensure his success and survival, removing a loud and critical voice from the international stage which isn't afraid to speak against the privileged few. Your allies, in seeking to destabilize the Kingdom, will ultimately serve the interests of Rokkenjima and the internationalists, without truly knowing why they fight or what business they have intervening in the sovereign affairs of the Kingdom."
"I shall wait," she paused, "the matters before us are complicated and concern many tangents and I feel you should have an opportunity to weigh in at this moment. While I hope that when we part ways it shall be under a new friendship, it awaits to be seen whether that outcome will be realized. What are your thoughts, then, Minister?"
