CULT UNDER INVESTIGATION
There has been recently been a massive controversy surrounding the Cult of Draves, a small organization of extreme worshippers of some sort of mutated creature, likely a result of physical contact with some forgotten stockpile of chemical weapons from the fall of the Oriental Commune during the War of Black Blood. They have been reported by terrace farmers in the Heisen-Draumer region to be attempting to pour some sort of unidentified substance into the water supply of several villages, resulting in reports being sent to the Imperial Electorate, who have responded by deploying several regiments of Nationalist Army soldiers into the region. Tests have shown the substance to contain a strain of virus that was a known biological weapon from the War of the Black Blood, fielded by the Oriental Commune as a means of killing off the food supply of the Imperial Republic, though this version shows traces of radiation and deliberate RNA tampering, changing the base DNA of the whoever consumes the contaminated substance. The cultists are currently under house arrest within their mountain monastery, though their fate remains to be seen by the Imperial Electorate and the residents of the villages. The Imperial Medical Commision is currently investigating the sludge's containment and removal.

MAFIA SURPRESSED
Last night, the dominant crime syndicate of Er'mingtua, the Black Rose, was successfully dismantled and dealt away by Imperial Chinese special police and soldiers from the 32nd Urban Infantry Corps “Bloody Saber”. Troops stormed the headquarters of the mafia in the Black Rose Pagoda and promptly arrested all members and shot those who refused to comply. Other mafia-controlled areas were simultaneously dealt with, and known members and collaborators in the city government were detained and are now en route to Nanjing for trial by federal court. A spokeswoman for the Imperial Bureau of Internal Security stated, "The Imperial administration begs the honest citizens of Er'mingtua for forgiveness for not having the mafia removed sooner. The criminals will be tried for their crimes against the people of the Imperial Republic, including torture, blackmail, corruption, illegal businesses, forgery, murder, smuggling, and routine terrorizing of citizens. Compensation will be provided to victims, and once again, the Imperial administration sincerely apologizes for its delay in effective response."
A total of 435 associates, members, and collaborators were arrested, and a further 329 ratted out by the now exuberant citizens of Er’mingtua. Execution by firing squad and hanging are expected to be the results of trial, if not lifetime hard labor.

IMPERIAL ELECTORATE CRACKS DOWN ON CONTRABAND
Over 3470 smugglers, drug dealers, and substance producers were arrested across the nation yesterday as part of a nationwide sweep-up of illegal practices ordered by the Imperial Electorate and the Imperial Throne. Local police, military, and special police stormed identified warehouses and labs, arresting those inside and tracking down those who escaped. The action was met with great enthusiasm from the populous, who formed groups of militias to find and apprehend those who escaped to the mountains. A total of 203kg of comtraband was seized and immediately destroyed, with a total value of 231million Imperial Marks (183 million USD). The Emperor was reported to have been pleased with the outcome of events.

TRIALS OF ARRESTED CRIMINALS COMPLETED, ALL FACE EXECUTION OR HARD LABOR
Yesterday, the trials of thousands of criminals, including those from the Black Rose Pagoda were completed en masse by undeniable evidence seized by Imperial officials during the national sweep-up. All contraband has been destroyed, and all suspects have been sentenced to death by freezing or hard labor in Altreich Provinz. The first waves of death sentenced criminals have already been transported to the mountains to die of the season-long cold. The hard labor-sentenced criminals are awaiting transport to the iron mines down south. The Emperor is quoted to have said, "Enjoyed your pig-like heaven under my father, have you? I hope you enjoy the freezing hell on earth - or deep below, you miserable cowards."

IMPERIAL ELECTORATE ORDERS NEW 40-AIRCRAFT BATCHES OF HEAVY-LIFT HELICOPTERS

The Imperial Electorate announced yesterday that a bill for new multi-purpose CH-53K heavy-lift helicopters has been passed in accordance to a new Imperial construction directorate to help build new infrastructure throughout the Imperial Republic, primarily refueling centers for civilian aircraft and search and rescue centers in case of crashes. The order is to be carried out by the Federal Blut Himmel Stadt Aircraft Fabrication plants Louhong-2, Louhang-3 and Eisenburg Assembly Center. The order is expected to take up the timespace of at least several months, with a total price of 14 million Imperial Marks.

HEISEN-DRAUMER PROVINZ DECLARES STATE OF EMERGENCY, PROVINCIAL FORCES MOBILIZED
The whole region of Heisen Draumer went into lockdown today after the investigation into the Cult of Draves revealed that a strain violent mutants were created by the Cult during their experiments. The contaminated water has been revealed to have carried the strange virus, capable of causing those affected to either die of exhaustion or turn into a mutant within the next 48 hours. The virus appears to cause severe swelling, headaches and failure to reason, including violent actions and signs of cannibalism. The virus spreads through drinking water, and only in ideal conditions. The creature that the Cult was worshipping turned out to be a former biological weapons researcher of the Oriental Commune who had inadvertently infected himself with the pathogen. Recent actions by the Marine-Guard Response Force show that infection can be averted by treating water with common herbs from gardens, notably a mixture of ginseng root, ginger, bluestar, and levius blossom. For mutants, a cure has been developed by the Imperial Medical Commission, though their securing has been throughly difficult. Remaining cultists and Cult researchers have fled into the countryside, and the Imperial military is currently hunting them.

IMPERIAL FORTRESS CORPS CONSTRUCTS NEW ARTILLERY AND ANTIAIRCRAFT INSTALLATIONS ALONG QUINTELIAN BORDER
The Imperial Fortress Corps, responsible for the static defense and protection of the Imperial Republic, announced the construction of around 16 antiaircraft missile and heavy 155mm artillery batteries near the Quintelian border. The Minister of Foreign Affairs reported, “This is no cause for alarm, given the current visiting of the Quintelian monarch. This is simply a military ritual that the nation goes through to ensure national protection against invasion from any direction. The Imperial Republic sorely apologizes if this is taken for a sign of aggression. We can guarantee the Quintelians that the guns are not pointed in their direction, and will not be ready for at least another seven months. Once again, we beg your utmost pardon.”
The defensive batteries are part of the National Bunker Initiative, or NBI. It part of a national effort to defend the nation from all directions in case of war, and also to ensure military capability in case of biological, radiological, nuclear, chemical, and conventional warfare.

SEARCH FOR CULTISTS CONTINUES
The Cult of Draves, now being hunted far and wide across the nation, are now, by order of the Imperial Throne, allowed to be executed on sight. Wilder-Jäger are encouraged, by both the Imperial Electorate and Emperor to hunt down and kill all cultists. By that order, today, a caravan of cultists headed for the Quintelian border were obliterated by heavy artillery from undisclosed Imperial Fortress Corps batteries. The scene was unfortunately extremely grisly, and the debate has already begun around authorizing Wilder-Jäger to hunt and kill cultists. Meanwhile, all Imperial Armed Foreces are now on duty, with even the Imperial Marine-Guard dispatched to search. Nationalist Militias have been requisitioned a search helicopter per party.

SELF-DECLARED COMMUNIST THROWN OVERBOARD SHIP; PERPETRATORS “HAVE NO REGRETS”
Today, Karlson Ei'shin-Schwarz, a local self-declared Leninist revolutionary, was thrown into the icy bay off the Imperial coast by a small mob of fishermen and villagers of Echtenberg, a small fishing community on the shores of Wanda-Essen Provinz. The mob formed shortly after the man broke into the village school with a shotgun and demanded the "overthrow of the imperial bourgeoisie", threatening the teacher to teach the students the merits of communism. He was promptly assaulted by several garrison Nationalist Militia troops, who subdued him and threw him onto a fishing boat, followed by a gathering group of angry villagers, a local veteran even waving his rifle and threatening to shoot Ei'shin-Schwarz. A small amount of locals boarded the ship, reportingly shouting, "Kill the traitor! Throw him into the sea! Let the fish gnaw on his accursed soul!"
Shortly after traveling half a nautical mile out, the revolutionary was shot in the head thrown overboard blindfolded. The self-proclaimed executioners then returned to shore and informed the village-Imperial Electorate liaison of the action, of which she supposedly pinched the bridge of her nose and said, "Oh well"
The villagers were given a light warning to send the revolutionary to the capital next time and let off. President Herminstaat, when asked, simply shrugged and said, “It happens. Wouldn’t be the first time.”

FISHERMEN ATTACKED BY PIRATES
Pirates, of unknown origin, attacked the fishermen off the coast of the Imperial Republic yesterday, killing ten and wounding seventeen. The assaulters carried small arms and opened fire near and aboard vessels indiscriminately. Upon finding no money with the fishermen, they beat the fishermen for several minutes before killing some and leaving to find more prey. Some fishermen managed to escape to shore and call for help. Several naval patrol helicopters were dispatched, and promptly put down the pirate vessels. The Imperial Naval Commision has dispatched armed patrol ships to guard the fishing fleets to prevent such an incident again.

EMPEROR CALLS UPON THE NATIONS OF MUNDUS TO SEIZE AND RETURN FUGITIVE CULTISTS
Today, the Imperial Throne released a statement in which Emperor Jinduming asked the nations of Mundus to capture and return any fugitive cultists that may have escaped to other nations. The cultists have extensive knowledge of forbidden bioweapons from the War of Black Blood and are currently wanted for attempted release of such pathogens into local village water sources. If any of these fugitives are found, the Imperial Republic has demanded that they be returned to the Imperial Republic as soon as possible for trial.

IMPERIAL ARCHIVES WARN OF RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM THROUGHOUT MUNDUS, CONCERN RAISED OVER QUESTION OF NEIGHBORS
The Imperial Archives, responsible for the recording and preservation of history and knowledge throughout The Imperial Republic, warned of the potential dangers of the religious organization called the "Bene Gesserit". The resident Head Librarian-Archivist, Da-Guotie, stated, "Throughout history, religious groups with military power have not ended well. There is a clear reason why religion and state are separated, and for good reason too. Religion should be simply stay a figure of an individual's beliefs, and not as a physical force. There is no proven record of such an organization doing so and succeeding in tolerance of all established beliefs without ending in bloodshed. I recommend that, in the interests of the Imperial Republic, all religious organizations with paramilitaries, including the Bene Gesserit, be carefully observed and communicated with as to prevent potential conflict.
The Office of Foreign Relations has issued a statement reminding the religious and theocratic organizations of Mundus that their religion is, at least for now, tolerated, despite the fact that the borders remain sealed as of November 5, 2018. That is due to change, however, as the ongoing talks with King Ferdinand "Lapu" Adartse include open borders with Quintelia, a prospect that the Front for The Safety of The Imperial Republic has fiercely opposed, presenting the dangers of "foreign devils" and "criminal opportunists". The Fromt went so far as to present a bill to have King Lapu thrown out of the Imperial Republic, but was overridden by both the vast majority of the Electorate, along with the Imperial Archives reminding that throwing foreign leaders out of the nation during a diplomatic mission is often a casus belli for conflict.

SERVICE FORCE “WATCHER” COMMISSIONED
The Imperial Archives recently announced the commissioning of the Librarian Records Service Force "Watcher". Its main purpose is the complete collection of all records and knowledge across Mundus, and recording them as clear and as unbiased as possible. Their mission includes primarily recording historical and cultural data, though they also are searching for as much foreign literature as they can possibly find. All information found will be copied down in the Imperial Archives and stored in the libraries, with backup copies locked away in vaults. According to the Imperial Archives, understanding other nations' cultures and backgrounds is held sacrosanct in the Imperial Republic, as it allows for better understanding between the two.
The Librarians “Watchers” will be equipped with not only the usual recording equipment, but also with undisclosed firearms in case they are placed in a hostile environment. Their secondary objective is to record all currently ongoing events to store in the Imperial Libraries. They will act as foreign observers during cases of war, and solely are there to record the status of the participants and their citizens. They are not military personnel, and the seal of a pen upon an open book has been stitched their belongings, hopefully making this clear. Nations of Mundus are reminded that this is a peaceful acquisition of knowledge, and are requested to provide such articles of knowledge to the Librarians.

PROTESTS FORM OUTSIDE ELECTORATE HALL OVER DEBATE TO JOIN TRANS-ARDIA PARTNERSHIP
A crowd of nearly six thousand protesters formed in front of and around the Electorate Hall today over the debate whether or not to join the Trans - Ardia Partnership, a plan to build a massive monorail system spanning the whole continent. Protesters were chanting “Remember the Blacklight”, a recall to the Blacklight Express attack during the War of Black Blood, where under the guise of peace, the Oriental Commune had constructed a rail line into the heartland of the Imperial Republic, only for the carriage doors to open up revealing fully-armed OC troops and armored vehicles. The attack became one of the bloodiest campaigns of the war, and almost led to the fall of Nanjing, though it was saved at the last second by the Imperial Marine-Guard, personally led by the resident Emperor of the time, His Highness Emperor Jinghuayue.
Veterans of the war were present at the protest, those who still had arms waving their rifles with the Imperial Army flag attached. Policemen were present, although some partook in the protest themselves, while the Marine-Guard was sent to keep order, along with the 2nd and 3rd Urban Infantry Corps “General Hauffenburg” and “Green Defenders”. Counter protesters from the Imperial Libraries and Universities marched against the anti-Partnership demonstrators, waving flags of the Imperial Libraries and Universities, were equally fierce in their stance, chanting, “March forward, think forward, act forward”, in the spirit of embracing the progress and prospect of meeting other nations.
In the meantime, the Electorate has been equally divided, with roughly half the nation opposing change and the other half embracing it. The Imperial Electorate has already cast its vote in favor of the partnership, although President Herminstaat has cast his decision to leave the borders closed and the bunkers' machine guns poised outwards. The vote is expected to reach a deciding point soon, while tempers flare and insults are exchanged.
The Imperial Throne has declined comment.

COMPROMISE REACHED; IMPERIAL REPUBLIC WILL JOIN THE TRANS-ARDIAN PARTNERSHIP
After several days of protest and debate in and outside of Electorate Hall, a compromise has been reached. The train line will pass through the Imperial Republic, but on the grounds that the train line be built in a separate tunnel system, with the usual Imperial-type safety standards, be subject to BIS inspection and local police investigations, cost is partly shared between the rest of the partnership, and come with onboard security. Additionally, all advertisements are banned aboard transport. The compromise promises that in return, the train line will operate throughout all of the Imperial Republic, those injured in the Imperial Republic are to be given sufficient healthcare, while those who come to the Imperial Republic with a study visa may travel without fare throughout the nation. Imperial Safety Standards dictate that safety is assured aboard all trains, and that all tunnels are built to military standards.
The compromise passed with a 57-28 seat vote, with only the Front for The Safety of The Imperial Republic and the small portion of the White Roses Front opposing the bill. The Imperial Archives and Universities are already preparing for foreign students to arrive, with guides in multiple languages being printed. The projected cost is around 65 million Imperial Marks (45 million USD).

IMPERIAL TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE RELEASES INFO ON NEW FUSION POWER REACTOR

Today the Imperial Technological Institute, in cooperation with the Imperial Archives, released information on the prototype nuclear fusion reactor that has been under development for quite a while. The reactor was designed by the Imperial throne's heir apparent, The Prince Regent Jingliaozhong von Heisen-Duminjia. It works through the confined energy mechanism, where focused laser energy heats fuel cell comprised of deuterium and tritium, allowing energy production and harvesting. Currently the reactor is still under research, though effective energy generation is expected within as soon as 2020. This technological breakthrough, according to the Head Researcher, “is a pinnacle of Imperial technological advancement” and authorities are already looking to build a nation-wide power network of reactors.

Wilderjagaer, or Wild Hunters, are reclusive individuals or self-exiled hermits and philosophers. Counted in the National Register as self-supporting unemployed citizens, although that could not be further from the truth. Wilderjaeger are exactly what they sound like: hunters of wild game, such as deer, elk, fish, and berries. They also occasionally farm, though not often, and like most of the Imperial Republic's citizens, live underground, often in the mountain caves of the Hua'lu Provinz area. Some dwell in the rainforest regions of Heisen-Draumer and Ganxi Provinz however and live in self-constructed treehouses.
About a seventh of the Imperial Republic's citizens are Wilderjaeger, and foreigners are warned, especially those who may visit from Quintelia, not to disturb them. They are armed with bolt-action rifles, if not more modern hunting rifles. They are known for stealthily stalking their prey and setting up well-concealed traps, so it is advised not to annoy them. They produce most of their munitions from local resources, such as [

REDACTED BY BIS ORDER], to name a few.
There is no known way to identify what a Wilderjaeger has claimed, but a full list of trails, roads and areas to avoid is available at each Provinz Visitor Center. Additionally, most Wilderjaeger are friendly and if you are lost in the wilderness, chances are that a Wilderjaeger will find and escort you back to civilization.
Wilderjaeger often include former Dragonaii military personnel and are often staunch supporters of the Imperial Throne, often demeaning the Electorate as "a bunch of cowardly fools". If a Imperial Command is issued directly to the Wilderjaeger, they can be expected to respond by acting as guerilla infantry. They have often been the cause of debate in the Electorate, for they contribute close to nothing in the way of societal production, though they do send their children to school in the villages closest to their homes. Wilder Jaeger are often looked upon as philosophers or mystics by fellow citizens, despite their intimidating demeanor.
Currently, Wilderjaeger have been authorized by the Emperor to open fire on any cultists that may be fleeing through the countryside, and already twenty-one bodies have been collected and presented to the Imperial government.

WILDERJAEGER RESTRAINING ORDER ISSUED
Emperor-Admiral Jingduming, following King Finley of Ui Cenneslaig's decree on the Dragoni Wilderjaeger, has issued a national restraining order pertaining to all Wilderjaeger of Hua'lu and Altreich Provinz, listed as follows:
- The Northern Defensive Line, bordering Ui Cenneslaig, is the extent of Imperial sovereign territory. Any farther and the Imperial Throne will be unable to protect you.
- You are only permitted to hunt game within Imperial borders. The same extends to wild vegetation.
- Treat the soldiers on the other side of the border with caution, and under no circumstances are you to cross.
- Keep all booby traps AT LEAST TWO MILES FROM THE BORDER. No one wants to be killed by hunting traps from across the border.
- It is preferable that you stay away from the border, if at all possible, unless there happens to be a forest fire in the region, in which you have full authority to do whatever it takes to bring the blaze under control. Still, respect the border.
- If you are on Imperial duty near the border, remember to carry your Imperial Commision and be ready to present it should you somehow wind up on the wrong side of the border.
- If the foreign troops give a spoken warning, you are to lower your weapon and comply to their demands, as long as you are delivered safely back to the Imperial Republic.
The Restraining Order shall remain order until further notice. Otherwise, date of expiration is null. Wilderjaeger are reminded that this does not restrict any of their settlements; simply where they may preform certain tasks. Remember, it is crucial that you stay on the Imperial side of the border to prevent an international incident. If you currently happen to have traps set along the border line, inform the regional IFC liaison so it can be relocated.

WILDERJAEGER NEUTRALIZES CULTISTS AT BORDER
In a spectacular gunfight today at the UC-Dragoni border, a lone Wilderjaeger chased four fleeing Cultists across the border, shooting three before they reached the borderline, but only stopped the last one near the border by throwing her hunting knife into his shoulder. Around six dozen rounds were exchanged, the cultists armed with zip guns and the Wilderjaeger with a civilian/paramilitary hunting rifle, several bullets nicking the ground near the border. IMF troops were involved as well, with around six personnel involved, armed with a light burst-fire machine gun and several assault rifles.
The Wilderjaeger caught the group traveling towards the border yesterday and followed them, notifying IMF authorities ahead. Gunfire was first exchanged at 3:23 AM, Local Imperial Time, when the group was caught unaware and resting. Initial attempts to arrest and subdue the Cultists failed, and less-than-lethal rounds were exchanged for live rounds. The Wilderjaeger had not fired before now, but opened fire on her own around 4:35 AM, wounding one cultist on the arm. IMF Bunker [REDACTED BY BIS ORDER] opened fire around 6:47 AM, when the cultists came into range of the border. The first cultist casualty occurred approximately twenty minutes later, at 7:07 AM, when the Wilderjaeger opened fire again as the cultists approached the borderline. A second cultists soon took a shot to the neck thereafter, and bled out before medical personnel could arrive. The third managed to wound a single IMF soldier in the leg, and was answered with burst of machine-gun fire. The Wilderjaeger managed to shoot him through the leg, immobilizing him. The Wilderjaeger's fire arm jammed soon after she attempted to fire at the remaining cultist. The fourth crossed the border soon after, with the Wilderjaeger in pursuit, having abandoned the rifle and drawn a hunting knife. The cultist was about six meters shy of UC territory when the Wilderjaeger made the decision to hurl the knife and struck the cultist in the shoulder, the force knocking him to the ground.
Surviving cultists have been placed in custody and are now facing trial. UC response is unclear.

EMPEROR EXPRESSES HORROR OVER NEWS OF KAITAINE
The Imperial Republic has only recently exited a state of isolation, and therefore the Emperor-Admiral was both surprised and horrified after learning of the Soviet Republic of Kaitaine's existence. To our foreign viewers and listeners, it must be understood, that the War of Black Blood, a civil war spanning 100+ years, comprised of the communist Oriental Commune and the First Imperial Chinese Republic of The Ming-Brandenburg Throne. It is considered to be the bloodiest and most brutal conflict to ever have occurred in our nation's history, with tens of millions killed by the non-stop fighting. The Oriental Commune was known to use trickery and banned weapons to achieve victory, whether that meant dropping biological weapon-laced “aid supplies” to mass executions of innocent non combatants to the development and usage of both radiological and nuclear weapons on civilians. Even today, after the surrender of the Oriental Commune several years ago, fear still remains from the dangers of the Oriental Remnants, former Oriental Special Forces who escaped out of the borders into who-knows-where.
This war was the direct cause of the Second Imperial Republic's forming, along with its bunkerization and isolation.
Many veterans are still alive to remember the war, and harbor extreme hostility towards any positive attribution of communism, if not downright violence. Despite these negative memories, the Emperor-Admiral and Imperial Electorate remain optimistic, saying that they hope Kaitaine is “more humane than the communists we knew of”. However, analyzayion points out whitewashing and propaganda in the Kaitaine Pravda, something that was commonplace throughout Oriental Commune territory. Additionally, the methods employed by their government to quell rebellions is far too resembling of the Oriental Peacekeeping Corps, a brutal secret police that was thankfully wiped out in 1923 when Imperial-commisioned Wilderjaegern Commandos commited “poetic justice” and massacred most OPC personnel with hatchets and shotguns during the Sixth Battle of Gan'xi, when the city was retaken by Imperial Marine-Guard forces. Many citizens already are calling for military intervention into Kaitaine territory.
Other nations are requested that if any contact is made with the Oriental Remnants, they should be treated as dangerous terrorists and notify the Imperial Republic immediately. Steps will be undertaken to ensure their bases' liquidation.

Following the recent escalation of tensions near the Imperial-UC border, the special holdout division of Marine-Guard Jaegerkrafte-6, a well equipped, highly experienced force of commissioned Wilderjaegern and Marine-Guard have been dispatched by local request to counter the UC deployment of counter-terrist forces. The IM-G-JK6 is one of the Imperial Republic's most experienced units, having fought in the War of Black Blood, and still retaining many troops with the experiences. Known for its specialization in subterfuge and guerrilla warfare, it is expected to stand head to head with the UC forces deployed. However, that is not the reason for their appearance, as the Office of Foreign Affairs informed us. Instead, it is merely another precaution to ensure the safety of the Imperial Republic's citizens, though it is surmised that this show of force will only increase already strained tensions.
The Emperor has announced to King Finley of Ui Cenneslaig that he is willing to open talks, in the mutual interest of both nations. "I sorely hope that a compromise can be reached," he stated yesterday at a press conference. "The safety of the Imperial Republic's citizens is a top priority, and I hope that King Finley will allow the Wilderjaegern to state their own concerns. Armed conflict cannot possibly be beneficial to either of our nations, so it is a priority that this issue is resolved as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, the Wilderjaegern themselves have been divided upon the topic, some calling for peace, other demanding that the UC troops withdraw immediately. One Wilderjaeger, who declined to give his name, told us that he no longer can take a casual stroll along the border without noticing armed patrols watching his every step, "as if I was some war criminal" and that he hoped that Wilderjaegern would be given an opportunity to explain their actions.

TERRORISTS ATTACK DRAGONI-QUITELIAN BORDER
In a dramatic and shocking turn of events yesterday, Border Checkpoint Deismacht was attacked by elements of the terrorist organization calling themselves the Oriental Remnants. At least nine suicide bombers and sixteen gunmen participated, killing sixteen and wounding fourty-eight. Thankfully, the border was closing at the time, and IFC Border Guards(IFCBG) returned fire, throwing stun grenades and tear gas. The attack turned into a drawn-out gunfight, in which the IFCBG desperately fought to buy time, and did their best to rescue civilians caught in the crossfire. Things only escalated when the suicide bombers detonated one of their vests near a small crowd of civilians, killing four and wounding nine. IMF reinforcements arrived on the scene soon after, returning fire with light machine guns and assault rifles, as opposed to the small pistols the IFCBG were armed with.
A heroic Wilderjaeger had only crossed when he heard the gunshots, and instead of running to safety within Imperial borders, he drew his own rifle and began firing at the terrorists, even running forward to draw fire away from the civilians fleeing the scene. Even after being wounded several times, he refused to fall back until IMF reinforcements arrived, to which he allowed medical personal to relieve him to a hospital.
Two terrorists have been captured alive, and have now been taken for questioning.
Fear and panic reached new heights in major population centers after the attack, but the rest of the official memorandum soon followed, and a crisis was averted. However, the White Flower veteran's lobbyist group has begun asking the government to find and violently crush the terrorist group, citing the dangers of such a group. A debate in The Electorate is currently in session.

The Imperial Throne and Imperial Governor of the Heisen-Draumer Provinz has announced the end of the state of emergency enacted several months ago last night, declaring that the presence of the Cult of Draves has been successfully and completely eradicated from the region and nation as a whole. More than three hundred citizens have been wounded or displaced in the operation(due to armed Cultist elements), with minor property damage, that being attributing to a dramatic pursuit out of the nation by BIS forces as a harmless amount of Cult members fled the nation. The cultists that have been successfully taken prisoner are awaiting execution for illegal chemical proliferation and armed resistance, more than one charged with homicide for their roles in the attempt to contaminate local water sources.
The execution method will be the seasonal so-called “Monsoon Sacrifice”, in which they will be thrown into the rapids of the local rivers running through the forests to the Blut-Himmel Delta Mouth. Wilderjaeger are allowed to fire upon the convicted. Bodies will be collected a half mile from starting point, assuming they are still in one piece. If there any survivors, they will be bayoneted immediately.

BIS ARRESTS TERRORISTS, CATASTROPHE PREVENTED
In light of the recent terrorist attack at the border, the BIS announced a successful raid on a suspected terrorist hideout in Eastern Nanjing has yielded the arrests of six confirmed terrorists, all who have proudly declared their affiliation with a organization calling itself “The Black Flame”, who have released through a radio broadcast by suspected handheld transmitters. Their manifesto calls for the complete and absolute dissolution of the Imperial Republic, instead calling for a anarchist reformation, with Luddite-style regression of technology and complete isolation of the nation. The Emperor has fired back, responding with a nationwide search for those associating themselves with the group, beginning with a raid such as the one reported. Weapons were seized, along with orders to assasinate the visiting Krimeon royal couple. The terrorists were executed on-site.
The military forces of the Imperial Republic have already mobilized, and military aircraft are currently flying sorties over the countryside. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activity immediately.

IMPERIAL FORCES STORM BLACK FLAME COMPOUND, TEN ARRESTED, SEVEN WOUNDED, SIXTEEN CASUALTIES
In a retributary attack for the border assault, INA forces attacked a Black Flame compound in the southern Altreich Provinz. The terrorists had taken several captives, who they used as leverage against the INA commander. Fortunately, a captive attempted to escape, and in doing so, momentarily distracted the terrorist members, allowing the INA troops to open fire. The Imperial troops advanced into the compound to find the remaining Black Flame members barricaded behind a reinforced door.
To reduce risk of INA casualties, the commanding officer ordered engineers to break the door open with explosives, with several flamethrowers and claymore mines in position to eliminate any would-be attackers.
The resulting body count was deemed a success, and after seizing all valuable or incriminating assets that the compound held, the entire building was leveled with explosives.
Public response was overwhelmingly positive, while propaganda outlets from the Black Flame have decried the attack as an war atrocity.

Emperor Jinduming To Free Slaves
The Emperor-Admiral has announced the purchase of ten thousand Tamoran families to free them of their bonds. In the Emperor-Admiral's own words, "They deserve a chance at a better life. One not in servitude, but in freedom to seek their own path. Let Faneris guide them well, and Klaniau repay their unpaid servitude." The total tag was 6.9 billion Imperial Marks[1]. The newly freed slaves will be free to choose their favored occupation and will receive a temporary pension to help afford their living space. Dragonaii response has been positive for the occasion, one store owner is quoted to have said, "This is great for us store owners, we can have more customers and maybe more workers while our kids are doing military service." An off-duty policeman was rather doubtful, but still remained welcoming, remarking, "As long as they follow the law and don't get in trouble, they're fine with me." Several towns have already made space by constructing new homes, one volunteer saying, "I hope they like it. I mean, I doubt they'll get used to the attack drills every other Sunday, but at least they'll have somewhere to live." Meanwhile, the Electorate has taken the news well, with a bill being proposed for immigrant children to receive a language assistance program before they join dragonaii students.
The Librarius has formally encouraged all Dragonaii to write welcome letters for the first wave of new citizens. They, of course, are welcome to keep their religion, as long as it is not imposed upon others. Conversions or Omnism of both religions are available at any time.
The first wave will arrive in exactly five days from now, but citizens of Blut-Himmel Stadt have already prepared for them, with temporary immigration facilities being erected at the port. Medical teams will check the immigrants as soon as they have disembarked before they proceed to the swearing-in ceremony. They will receive their first travel permit as soon as they have been processed, and will be sent immediately to a settlement where they can utilize their skills and earn their paycheck.

Student Scales University Walls In Order To Avoid Being Late
Nanjing's Imperial University of Engineering had a rude awakening this morning when 19-year old Xue Jiama was seen rapidly climbing the Architectural Building, a fourteen-story workshop building, assisted with nothing but his wits, a rope, and a friend. As he reached the eighth floor, he suddenly jumped off his perch on a windowsill to swing over to a different window, where his friend, Agnes Wie, pulled him inside. His reason for the stunt?
To avoid being tardy.
"I had to go back to our(He and Agnes share a dorm) dorm to retrieve her thesis and my wallet. Then I got a text from Agnes that class would start in about thirteen minutes, and I had only just got off the train, so I figured, screw it, and got the rope from my bag."
A native Wilderjaeger, Jiama was born and raised in the towering forests[1] of Altreich Provinz. He began climbing at an early age and thus began a habit of carrying climbing gear with him. As time went on, he became a swift and well-refined climber, who would regularly climb up trees while in primary school. Later, as he reached adolescence, he extended his climbing to those of buildings, where he developed an interest in designing treehouse habitats for his brethren to use back in Altreich Provinz.
As of now, when he reached class, he had half a minute to spare, with several out-of-breath incredulous police officers arriving several minutes later.

SANE Founded

The Imperial Throne announced yesterday the founding of the Southern Ardian New Electorate, or SANE, a military and economic alliance with Quintelia and New Derusmia that will work for the combined interests of all three nations. Dragonaii will receive updated identification as needed over course of the week. The border is now open to all Quintelian and New Derusmian citizens. In the meantime, a cooperative space program with SANE and Ui Cenneslaig is currently under development, as well as an emergency stockpile project alliance-wide in each member nation's major cities.

General Beintaut of the Imperial Armed Forces has announced that the Imperial Armed Forces will be undergoing large changes to its formation and doctrine. During a press conference, he said, "Too long we have relied on tactics worthy of the medieval days. All of Mundus holds greater militaries than ours, and as such, we must turn to the rebuilding of the Imperial Armed Forces. Of course, with the existence of SANE, China will proudly stand alongside our friends, New Derusima and Quintelia."
Highlights of the reformation will include the introduction of the Type-02 Standard Rifle[1] using the 7.62 x 51mm round[2], which will replace the Phoenix-era Type-90[3], and Maunen-NAF gas masks[4]. A large order has been placed by the Imperial Armed Forces for the production of Personel Defensive Packages and Wilderjaeger Holdout Packages[5][6]. In the National Chemical Plants, nearly seventy fluid tons of tear gas have been ordered for military usage. Furthermore, dozens of FJ-8A Falcons have been ordered from the Aerospace Fabrication Plants, as well as FJ-8EB Owls. Several military conferences with the Quintelian and New Derusmian militaries are scheduled for the coming months in regards to a united military doctrine for the future.

Imperial Chemical Institute Announces Research Into Rocket Fuels; Imperial Aeronautics Bureau Reestablished
Early this morning the Imperial Chemical Institute announced that was now looking into the development of launch vehicle propellants following the reestablishment of the Imperial Aeronatics Bureau. Many Dragonaii will remember the failed attempts to achieve spaceflight back in 1974 during the Phoenix Era. Back then, of course, our own launch sites were delayed by lack of funding and interest. However, the Imperial Engineers have already begun reconstruction of the National Aerospace Facility in the Gan’Xi Mountains, while the support facilities are being refurbished to fit the current technology of the era.
This new effort was the cause of SANE announcing a joint space program with the possible cooperation of Ui Cenneslaig. The general reaction to the news of SANE’s founding and the renewed space program has been viewed with enthusiasm by the public, many of whom, especially of the older generations, view the space program with nostalgia and excitement.
“This is great!” said 51-year old miner Jie-Ruhua. “After so many years, the government finally spends money on something interesting besides [Expletive]ing tunnels! Maybe I’ll live to see a Dragonaii on another planet!”
In the newly reestablished Aeronautics Bureau, 72-year-old senior chemical researcher Gunther Tie handled a flask of hydrazine as he gave us his opinion.
“I’m optimistic. New Derusmia already has a launch facility, and we’re more than willing to make them fuel for the rockets on an industrial scale. I just hope Ui Cenneslaig will join us in our journey to space.”

Wilderjaeger National Survival Competition Begins
The Wilderjaeger National Survival Competition began at 2:30 AM SIT today morning, with well over two hundred competitors showing up to partake in the much anticipated event. This season’s fields include two new fields, of which are signal jamming and ambush techniques, in addition to the usual endurance triathlon, marksmanship, evasive techniques, trapping, urban survival, makeshift weaponry, as well as others.
The Competition has been a national event since the 1600s, popularized by Emperor Mingyuedi, better known as the Wilderjaeger Prince. It started with just endurance tests to see who could bear the longest in the worst and most dire of environments, and has since expanded to becoming a way for the Imperial Army and Marine-Guard to recruit promising Wilderjaegern troopers.
There is an overall death rate of 2%, of which are deaths from mostly traps and makeshift explosives unexpectedly going off. However, this has not affected the game’s reputation in any other way than making it an event for the best of survivalist-inclined Wilderjaegern.
Participants are not limited to just Wilderjaegern either, but all competitiors must at least over the age of twenty-five and have approval from the Competition Office.
All foreigners are warned not to enter the competition areas and Imperial police respective to the region will patrol the area to ensure safety.

Police Arrest Evasive Serial Killer, Executed On Scene
Dr. Huess Yu of Eltenbacht was arrested and shot yesterday after finally being caught in a gunfight with several police officers. Known as the Bloody Alchemist, Yu murdered about nineteen individuals through usage of various poisons, acids, and dissolvents. Known for having successfully escaped after being sentenced and en route to prison, he managed to hide until being found during last year's national city-wide sweep. He was first found through usage of DNA tests that proved his connection with the string of murders.
Upon confrontation, he drew a firearm and attempted to shoot the officers apprehending him. However, several heavily-armed policemen quickly returned fire from outside, which caused him to attempt escape, only to be incapacitated by several shots to the legs.
He was executed on-site, with warrant for previous murders, conspiracy to murder, and resisting arrest, along with assaulting an officer.

The Self-Defense Party has decried the Emperor-Admiral following the signing of the MCUR treaty, with Party Leader Helmut Eicht saying during an Electorate speech, "This is outrageous! First the ridiculous Ardian Assembly, then the Uppsala Convention, and now this! Does the Emperor-Admiral no longer remember how the war of Black Blood was even won? Why the blood was black?! How can we care about these inane bureaucratic scraps of paper that tie us down when we won our existence through the violation of every point on every single treaty? If the SICR is to live in this century, we shall fight tooth and nail for it, like true dragonaii, not mewling kittens that bow their heads and succumb their fate to diplomatic slavery! I demand President Herminstaat and the Electorate override the Emperor-Admiral and throw away those sheets. if we execute criminals, it is for our own safety. They were followed by some members of the Imperial Archives noting that while the actions of the Admiral-Emperor have resulted in the formation of SANE and positive prospects for the economy, many dragonaii are still hesitant to even visit other nations outside of SANE and have exhibited suspicion towards the motives of Rokkenjima, East Moreland, the ES, and other global superpowers, mostly towards the Ardian Assembly for pressuring the SICR into agreeing with a "unneeded treaty".

Oriental Commune Survivors?
There has been a shocking report from the ruins of Neu Drachennest, the once-great capital of the Oriental Commune. A radio signal was picked up by the Imperial Watchers surveying the contaminated area and was traced to a former chemical bomb shelter, where the descendants of surviving civilians and soldiers of the Oriental Commune were found hiding underneath the city, within the metro, sewers, and bunker systems. They had formed a splintered society and were constantly fighting over resources and food, occasionally venturing into above into the city ruins to search for uncontaminated rations and water purifiers.
The inhabitants are currently being reintroduced to Imperial society, and the tunnel systems are currently being surveyed by the Imperial Watchers.

Today, the Imperial Electorate passed the New Great Wall Bill, a massive military project that will replace the Great Bunker and Border Walls. As said by Emperor-Admiral, "Only a few decades ago we thought we were safe, protected by our great walls of bunkers and artillery. Our reliance on old fortifications has now become a liability, one we can ill afford to tolerate. Our bunkers and outdated tactics make us easy targets, like insects to be smashed. No longer, for today, the Electorate has passed a great new bill into law, one that will give us new hope, one we may rely on in the future. Behold the New Great Wall of the Empire, the Shield-Arrow Protection System! Let our concrete pillboxes be replaced by missile launchers and silos, our watchtowers exchanged for radar and satellites! The Imperial Republic must shed its walls of concrete it has outgrown, and embrace the home in Ardia that it shares with Quintelia and New Derusmia. We must learn to adapt to Mundus, or it shall tread over us." Systems in the Shield-Arrow Protection System (SAPS) include the Fletchette Air Defense System[1], consisting of close-in weapon systems to defend population centers and places of importance from smaller munitions, such as mortars, artillery, and also aircraft, the Lance Air Defense System[2], made of anti-ballistic missile and satellite systems, designed to fend off any long-range attacks from would-be attackers. Another system, the Dragon Eye Project, is currently under review by the Electorate. It will consist of a network of military satellites that will track any launches from across Mundus, giving citizens and soldiers alike time to respond. All systems are currently under development/construction and are under cooperation with the New Derusmian-based Matteus Aerospace Defense Company. Plans include extending the range, with the approval of fellow SANE nations, to cover all member nations from potential airborne threats.
Critics of the bill, such as the Mundus Internationale Party, have pointed out the massive price of the project, along with the fact that it is almost guaranteed to start escalations internationally. Supporters of the Bill, however, such as the Self-Defense Party and National Librarius-Republicans have fired back with the public's fears of Mundus' international powers, notably Rokkenjima. "We are better off spending money on a new defensive system than we are laying in a grave," as said by Party Leader Helmut Eicht of the Self-defense Party. A recent poll shows that 79% of the SICR has reservations on non-SANE nations, while 17% believe there is nothing to fear and a 4% who openly encourage the immediate development of the Shield-Arrow Defense System. Overall, the Imperial Watchers have noted that the vast majority of the population have expressed concern over Kaitaine's recent actions, with at least a few hundred citizens clamoring for some kind of response.
The Budget has been approved, with a total of 6.9 billion Imperial Marks for the total program[3], along with more funding as various systems are completed. The project is predicted to see completion in mid-2022 at its current rate.

The Creative Literature and Art Exposition's 237th convening was marked by the hundreds of dragonaii novelists and artists from across the Imperial Republic gathering at Longhaijunwang Creative Center in Eltenbacht to share and display their various works. Readers and fans will attend in the lower floors, where signings will be available, while the discourse floors[1] will be reserved for all attendee creative dragonaii. All members of the public, and for the first time in over a century, foreigners not just limited to SANE nations may participate. The renowned writer Heinz Shibi will attend, with his latest book, the alternate history-themed Mit Freunden des Wolfram Testaments, which focuses on a world where the Imperial Republic never isolated itself during the War of Black Blood and instead formed SANE in 1912. The equally well-known post-apocalyptic fiction author and artist Mei Jihua will also be present, with her new series, Where The Counter Ticks, based upon the aftermath of a devastating nuclear war across Mundus. Artists and writers are, as always, allowed to form contracts for accompanying media on the spot. The extremely popular event will take place over five days, with thousands of expected attendees.

Emperor Jinduming To Visit Pavitr Parvat
Emperor Jinduming announced his intention to visit the recently-emerged Kingdom of Pavitr Parvat to establish diplomatic relations and to offer support in the reconstruction of their nation following their recent civil war. In addition to its Librarius Chinese minority, the Emperor-Admiral believes that it is the Imperial Republic's obligation to help a neighbor recover from civil war. Graffiti was found this morning, painted onto the Provincial Library of Altreich, depicting a crude version of Queen Beatrice of Rokkenjima cutting up a cake resembling the Ardian Continent with a knife labeled "LIES & THREATS". While the graffiti was quickly removed, it was far from being the only one. A massive wave of anti-Rokkenjiman feelings has exploded across the SICR, with many dragonaii anonymously utilizing the arts to show their distrust of Queen Beatrice. Several talk shows have expressed concerns about the internationalism that Rokkenjima expresses, with even the MIP-aligned political talk show host Yue-Luxing saying, "Rokkenjima is too involved in international affairs. They seem obsessed with controlling their close neighbors and instating their own policies under the guise of being reasonable. I believe they can be reasoned with, as a firm pacifist, but it will take far more than words to change their ways."
The Curatoria Assembly has recently also sent an advisory to dragonaii across Ardia to not enter Rokkenjima as a precaution. Today, at the Imperial Electorate, Emperor-Admiral Jinduming responded to the Rokkenjiman threats broadcasted by Rokkenjiman media.
"The Imperial Republic, as part of SANE, does not seek conflict with Rokkenjima. The one thing we seek is peace. The one thing we have on our minds is not to create some sort of cold war in Ardia, no! It is to better strengthen and equalize the power of the various Ardian states so that one nation does not dominate the politics of the Ardian continent! Lest Empress Beatrice forget, SANE was forged from the threats that Rokkenjima presented New Derusmia with. If you did not wish for this conflict in the first place, then you should not make idle threats, for words from a nation such as Rokkenjima is bound to be taken with the highest sincerity -that is, for example, making deadlines and expecting your opponent to collapse upon sighting it.
Furthermore, SANE has made absolutely no mention of even so much as looking towards the Rokkenjiman Sea. Policewoman Fights Gunman With Sword
Officer Yinyu Jing of the Yumingjia Police Service of Blut-Himmel Stadt attacked three gunmen during a shootout with gang members using nothing but her jian and standard bulletproof vest. After running out of ammunition for her firearm, she drew her service jian and successfully killed one gunman, while causing severe injuries to the other two. A fellow officer who was present commented, "Officer Yinru ran up to one of the thugs and sliced his arm clean off! The other bastard managed to shoot her in the chest, but she got him through the eye. A fitting trade by Klaniau, no?"
The good officer herself was raised in Lower Jiatingliang of Blut-Himmel-Stadt, where she regularly attended classes at the local atheneum. With the current "swift execution" order in effect against the gangs in the area, the surviving thugs were hastily tried by a jury of five and immediately shot. This marks the second week of the "War on Crime" currently being waged by Governer Anjie, with a total of 13 police deaths, 43 gang member deaths and 41 wounded on both sides.
Local dragonaii have shown support for the police service's efforts, many seeing it as a change from the last Imperial Throne Administration. "Thesis of the Dragons" Attracts Criticism
Bookstores were jam-packed for the last few days as crowds rushed to purchase copies of "Thesis of the Dragons," blocking entire streets and hindering the movement of motorists and pedestrians alike. The recently-released book by Librarian [REDACTED] has attracted massive attention from all of the SICR, with millions of copies being sold within the first few days of its publication. The vastly popular book covers the subjects and problems of Imperial Bureaucracy, calling the current government set up as "slow and ineffecient." Instead, it calls for a two-phase transformation of Imperial culture, citing the dangers of Mundus externally. "If Slava Lavosk has nuclear weapons, then who are we to trust that Rokkenjima, Achkaerin or East Moreland would not rearm their pre-existing stockpiles?"
It also marks Soviet Kaitaine and the Bene Gesserit (Theocracy of Kaitaine) as untrustworthy and a threat to the dragonaii people as a whole. "The soviets and their theocratic counterparts are equally brutal, yet they seek to make themselves out as righteous and the true heroes of their people. Both are wolves dressed as sheep, and both froth at the mouth. They have nothing but the lust for victory in their eyes, and they will go to great lengths to seek it, whether it be the honeyed lies that they hand out like sweets to foreigners, asking for support or direct action, such as the Bene Gesserit's child soldiers and the Soviets' usage of gas weapons."
With Rokkenjima, the Librarian had few good words for as well. "They are an octopus, reaching out in the guise of justice and supportive intervention to spread their influence and meddle in others' affairs. Unsatisfied with their own little pool, they will happily take others for their own benefit. As such we can already see that they held talks with the leaders of SANE. Poison to the mind, no doubt. Rokkenjima within SANE? Unthinkable. But possible? Very much so."
Even with many dragonaii in support of SANE, the book brings up concerns and doubts of many for the future of the alliance. "We are not ready for an alliance. We know little about our neighbors, and what we do know is mostly from their viewpoint. It was formed prematurely, in haste and worry that the Rokkenjimans would invade. It is not to say that the alliance is unnecessary, but the SICR should reserve itself to internal affairs until we have something that Mundus will bargain for, and it is at that point that we will reemerge and once again involve ourselves in external problems. We need leverage, but we have none.
The prementioned government reformation is described in the book as: "A complete transformation of government energies and powers. There will be one stage to accompany the logistical stress of the transformation, that we shall call the Transitive Administration of China, and then upon its completion, a new nation will emerge, the second stage, that we shall call the Unity of China.
The Transitive Administration will be governed by a council of specialists instead of bureaucrats, and upon the Unity's founding, will be exchanged to the High Thunder Council. Contrary to democracy, each division of work or study will be governed according to a person who is an expert in their respective field and will dictate all policies; for example, any research into biology will be first governed by a biologist, who will control the overall flow of funding, while those under him/her will be responsible for the various fields of biology."
Librarian [REDACTED] has stated that his publication is meant to push other dragonaii into awareness and then action. Other details, he has said, can be figured out if the Transitive Administration actually is founded, which he has mentioned his doubt of passing in government, not to mention resistance from other parties.
Indeed, opposition from several parties have already arisen, including Erich Huoying(LEP) stating, "This thesis is the rambling of a madman. To reform the government in such a way would cause the death of democracy in the SICR as we know it. Dragonaii should not take this book as seriously as they have. It is propaganda, an attempt to level all that we have striven for since the civil war. We cannot afford such a folly ever again."
From the DEP/MIP, Congresswoman Lu Yunshan has called the book a "symbol of democracy's end" and would like Quintelia and New Derusmia to understand that this "is only an upstart ideology that will soon waste away."
Even the SDP has voiced concerns that this sort of action may be too extreme. Helmut Eicht, leader of the SDP, has mentioned that the measures involved seem "ill-thought-out and far too hasty."

Parties Denounce Sinsu's Emergence

The Federal Republic of Sinsu (Recognized as the Sinsu Incursion of the Southern Imperial Territory) has emerged from isolation, and with it, the anger of dragonaii who thought this matter resolved. Thousands have taken to the streets and the internet, denouncing Sinsu's right to declare an international foreign policy, along with questioning its sovereignty and right to self-rule as a whole.
Following [REDACTED], Sinsu declared itself the Federal Republic of Sinsu, prompting the still-at-war Second Imperial Republic to launch several campaigns in an attempt to reintegrate Sinsu into the Imperial Republic, but due to low manpower, morale, and supply, failed to retake the Southern Territory. Following the conclusion of the Civil war in the 1930s, the Phoenix Era focused on the isolation and suppression of the Sinsu Incursion by establishing an active no-cross zone and reinforced defensive lines, in addition to bombardment emplacements to keep constant pressure against the Incursion.
Spite of the Incursion has only increased over time as the successful development of the area has resulted in prosperity, a fact that dragonaii have responded with increased military action and the call to again reannex the Southern Territory.
Currently, the SDP and LEP has issued a joint statement, calling the Incursion "Cowardly monkeys who refrained from helping fellow Chinese during the Civil War," and "Fully deserved their war with the Communists."
The LLP on the other hand, have issued what seems to be suspiciously close to an ultimatum, demanding that the Incursion "relinquish the claim of independence from the Ming-Brandenburg Empire, reunify with the Imperial Republic, and intergrate economy, military, and policy with the SICR."
The only parties to support the "Federal Republic" have been the MIP, who have called for peaceful reunification, declaring that "fellow Chinese should not kill one another in anger in a world of such preexisting hate," and the LAP, who have announced that "No faithful dragonaii should perish at the hands of another faithful; we must prevent another war, whether by letting our Southern brethren free to the world, or by bringing them back into the fold, only Etervia may know."
Peace however, is far from reality as officers in the Imperial Fortress Corps stationed at the border have taken matters into their own hands, launching thousands of rounds of artillery, mortar, missile, and rockets at Sinsu positions within mere hours of receiving the news. Public reaction has ranged from anger and reawakened imperialism to hope that cooperation will lead to a fruitful future for both nations.

Poll Shows Increase In Dislike of Rokkenjima
A national poll hosted by the Imperial Archives has shown that dragonaii have increasingly found Rokkenjima unlikable, and for some, downright untrustworthy. In the city of Sanhe, the population even burned effigies of the Anselmo Empress, decrying their interference on century-old politics with the Sinsic.
Meanwhile, in Nanjing, the Electorate has experienced its own share of anti-Rokkenjiman sentiment, with the SDP calling for increased military spending on a revamped naval strike force and modernized mobile anti-aircraft equipment, in addition to newer tactics. A protestor wrote the words 'Internationalist Empire' in massive characters, placing the banner on the city square, dozens Rokkenjiman flags thrown around it, disfigured by red paint.
The Imperial Navy, meanwhile, following the brief stint where a Rokkenjiman spy submarine made headlines last year, has initiated an intense coastal defense screening program just shy of mining the entire coast. As the general population has shown widespread support for at least some way of defending against Rokkenjima, five more Wolf Class submarines have been ordered, expected to be completed within the next three months.

Electorate Votes 36-34 To Recognize Sinsu

In a momentous show of political debate and deliberation today, the Imperial Electorate has voted by just one vote to give up the claims on The Republic of Sinsu, better known as the ROS. The full bulk of the LLP and LEP banded together to vote against the LAP and MIP, leaving only the SDP to decide the final vote. While most members of the SDP were fully convinced to see the bill thrown out, a few members, [REDACTED FOR PERSONAL SAFETY] amazingly tipped the scale by voting in Sinsu's favor.
The bill proposed, Final Political Resolution Bill of Sinsu, 2019, proposes the demilitarization of the active war zone located there, as well as several government policy changes towards the Republic of Sinsu, including full government recognition and the support of its membership into SANE. This also means establishing formal relations and trade, constructing infrastructure to connect the two nations, and a limited open border treaty.
In regards to the resolution and demilitarization of the border proposed by the Ardian Assembly, however, President Herminstaat has announced that the Bakkarmayan observation forces will be refused in place of New Derusimian observation forces, a move that was applauded by the SDP, even despite many voting against recognition of Sinsu. Despite the violent riots and protests that have followed the vote, dragonaii can still agree that "A situation such as this should not have been proposed by a nation such as Rokkenjima, and they would've done well to suggest to Quintelia or New Derusmia to submit an appeal in regards to the tensions between the SICR and Sinsu. If anything, it only serves to anger more of Rokkenjima's expansionism, as many consider Sinsu too vulnerable to outside influence." (Congresswoman Adalie Schmitte, MIP) President Herminstaat has instead stated that negotiations will be held in New Derusmia, and hopefully President Feish as a neutral mediator. This has not stopped fears that Sinsu's national agenda includes closer relations with Rokkenjima, sparking calls for mobilization and to seize and cripple strategiclly important targets across the Republic of Sinsu, before "the Rokkenjiman invaders arrive." the arrival of the Rokkenjiman Navy has only worsened this situation, and protestors are turning to more radical means, pro-Sinsu and anti-Sinsu alike.
Pro-Sinsu dragonaii have made clear that while they support the independence of Sinsu, they "abhor the idea of Rokkenjiman forces so close to home again" and that a preliminary strike is necessary to control the situation and prevent Sinsu from becoming a satellite of Rokkenjima.
Anti-Sinsu dragonaii, on the other hand, have demanded a full "campaign of national safety" to reclaim Sinsic lands and fend off the foreign elements of Rokkenjiman imperialism.
In light of the forementioned civil disobedience that has followed the bill's passing, Nanjing, Blut-Himmel Stadt, and Er-Mingtua have exploded into violence, pro-Sinsu and anti-Sinsu protestors clashing with each other and the police with homemade firebombs, prompting the advancement of the National Conflict Threat Designation to NCTD-2, with the National Guard being deployed to keep order. Protesters have responded by building fortifications along streets, and many moderates in the Electorate fear a full civil war, as several thousand anti-Sinsu dragonaii gathered around the Eltenbacht National Arsenal attempting to acquire firearms and ammunition. Pro-Sinsu forces have been equally busy, with homemade firearms and ammunition being smuggled out of Blut-Himmel Stadt to "insurgency bunkers" in the countryside.
The Admiral-Emperor and President have yet to make a statement on the escalating situation, but with increased military traffic across the National Infrastructure Network, analysts predict an escalation up to potentially NCTD-3 and nationwide martial law, others picturing a far more bleak picture: a second, final civil war.

All Parties Dissolved, Massive Change In Government Doctrine Clear
The silence of the Electorate and sudden halt of all military and National Guard activity across the Nestland have shocked our nation to standstill, protestor leaders calling for a cease in activities as the unsettling lack of government activity became apparent. Only today have the gates of the Electorate creaked open again today, revealing a complete transformation of the parties: which is to say, all gone. In their places were declared three new parties, naming themselves after the various monikers of the Civil War.
The Successor Parties, as they have labeled themselves, consist of the Cobalt Scales Party, Silver Wings Party, and the Starry Earth Party.
The Cobalt Scales, largely made up of former LLP and SDP members, have pledged to "restore and protect the honor, integrity, and dignity of the Imperial Republic by all means necessary from external influences." Already new propositions and bills for the armed forces have been prepared, reiterating concerns by General Beintaut that military doctrine is incredibly behind, save the recent new SAM system developed by WDF (of which several dozen units are planned to be purchased). Declaring the extradition of Imperial dragonaii military personnel to Ackaerin "outrageous and a downright violation of our sovereignty as a nation", multiple congressmen and women have suggested that the personnel involved, (13 officers in total) commit suicide in order to avoid the "unfair treatment they will no doubt receive abroad" and that "no country's jurisdiction or law should be forced upon those who do not understand international law, nor deserve such a mockery in a kangaroo court."
The Silver Wings meanwhile are composed of most ex-LEP and LAP members, assuring the nation that public policies such as the Swift Mass Rail Network, National Server Network, and National Health System will be expanded upon, "for while the others shall debate foreign policy, we will debate and ensure the quality of life at home. Let the fit wage war, we will see to the Nestland." The Curatoria Assembly have declared, as part of religious law, that "the land of Sinsu, save for an officially blessed shrine or temple, is no longer part of the Nestland, though we support their independence and bid them good fortune, that their prosperity has only begun." When asked for comment on the Resolutions and ultimatum by the Quintelian government, The High Curator only shook his head sadly and said nothing, tapping his lips.
The Starry Earth Party is constructed of those willing to build a future alongside SANE and the rest of Mundus. Though strongly supporting the independence and sovereignty of Sinsu, many elements, especially those from the defunct SDP have called for a withdrawal from the Uppsala Convention entirely and forming an entirely separate document that abides by dragonaii doctrine. Regardless, they call for the continuation of the ongoing Southern Line, emergency stockpiles, and [REDACTED] transfers to [REDACTED] by rail. "We are behind on technology and the world. If we are to not become another pawn in the grand international game of politics, we must gather allies to face greater foes." As with the other parties, they too had strong objections towards the Ardian Assembly, noting how a nation such as Ackarein could be allowed to dabble in Ardian affairs this south.
This alteration in government does not change the capitulation of the Emperor-Admiral to the ultimatum made at the Ardian Assembly; however many political commentators are worried that these new parties are simply "marking spite and betrayal in a book for later use." The Republic of Sinsu will be recognized and supported by the SICR and the Bakkarmayan observation forces will police the demilitarized zone. Following the successful completion of test trials, this morning Department of Energy announced the expansion of the Altreich National Nuclear Center, the SICR's largest nuclear research and energy center, to be complete. In addition to three reactors at the site, the facility now has a total of eight sodium-cooled fast reactors, all installed several dozen meters underground for safety precaustions. The successful development and implementation of the reactors in 1987 allowed for Heisen-Dumingjia and nearby settlements to enjoy cheap and clean energy, with extremely little environmental side effects.
A total of ten reactors throughout the Nestland now generate massive amounts of electricity to tens of millions, operated by Drakon Energy, a subsidiary of Drakon Imperial GLC, the Imperial Administration's government-controlled conglomerate formed for foreign trade. Public opinion of the nuclear plants have soared for the last few decades, causing many to call the current fusion research "a complete waste of time when we already possess clean and reliable energy."
There are rumors that the National Nuclear Center is building reactors for the SICRDN, in preparation for the 2019 Naval Modernization Act that is pending within the Electorate, potentially for (REDACTED BY BIS ORDER). After urges by both the SICRDN and the Electorate, as well as several demonstrations at the Electorate's North Gate, President Herminstaat has decided to bring the seven Sea Serpent-class nuclear submarines (Currently in the Strategic Naval Reserve) back into commissioned service. "Mundus is hardly in a stable state right now, and until it is, we need all the forces we have to be ready. As soon as they are released from their homeports, they shall again undergo rigorous exercises in the deep sea until we have either reason to bring them into force or until the situation has settled with Royal Seleucid and the Iwi. Additionally, the presence of Rokkenjiman Ruby-class submarines near our waters during the Tamora-SICR Purchase Incident performing surveillance operations has highlighted our inability to protect our nation from foreign intelligence. The Sea Serpent Class boasts a complement of 4x 533mm torpedo tubes, firing the Naval Munition Mk. Records released from the Electorate has shown that towards the last two hours of last week's session, a bill titled Special Naval Measure 37 was quickly and silently passed unanimously by the entirety of the Electorate, the 600-page bill being flipped through by congressmen and women as if they did not even read them. Recordings of the bill's details on film have proven equally fruitless and a deviation of normal Electorate behavior, showing only heavily edited and redacted text though several keywords were captured, mentioning a "Strategic Naval Deterrent/Retaliation Force in cooperation with the Imperial Sword Project... In the case of [________], they should be deployed and [______] employed against the [_____] Empire of [___________], [____________], and [_____________]... Would cause potentially [_________] and severe consequences to the long-term state of the environment of approximately [_______] km2 and {?} years long."
Additional notes have made exactly two hundred and seventy-three mentions to the [REDACTED BY BIS ORDER] Program, twenty-six mentions to the Altreich National Nuclear Center, and [REDACTED BY BIS ORDER] mentions of direct orders from the Electorate, President Herminstaat, and the Emperor-Admiral himself to conduct this "emergency activation of assets critical to the sovereign well-being of the Second Imperial Chinese Republic." Imperial Archives Unveils War of Black Blood Military Museum
The much-anticipated War of Black Blood Military Museum had its blast doors groan open for the first time today in Heisen-Draumer as thousands flocked to view its massive exhibits of Civil War military hardware, actors dressed and reenacting up as Longwang-tu-bing and Longguo-huo-bing, along with many other types of military personnel and civilians throughout the era. Veterans, assisted by volunteers, have also made the trip to the museum, sponsored by the Silver Wings and Cobalt Scales Parties. Around five hundred staff and volunteers, in addition to several dozen active-duty military personnel in dress uniform, ensured the smooth opening of the museum and the quality of its exhibits from being damaged or tampered with.
Upon entry to the museum, guests will encounter a mural depicting the flag of the First Imperial Chinese Republic(FICR) and the Oriental Commune of the Dragonaii Peoples(OCDP) crossed against one another. Two entrances will be offered: the path of the FICR, the pathway illustrated with cobalt blue and gold, or the OCDP, painted in crimson and metallic gray.
Going the path of either will still lead to the same central rooms, but occasionally branch off into side rooms as the museum brings visitors from one decade of warfare to the next, depicting major battles from both sides, starting from the Battle of Stahlrecht to the eventual Blacklight Campaign. Every hallway leading to the next time period shows off new uniforms, weapons, munitions, and even small field artillery. The entire project was proposed in 1968, but due to constant delays, the project was not atarted until 1974 and finished until early this year, with more delays emanting from the need of spare parts for the operating demonstartion and reenactment vehicles. The total cost was around IM142,600,000 total, though most of it came from public and private donations. There are plans to expand the museum, however they have been delayed in favor of various [REDACTED] programs.
Recieving an overall incredibly positive reception by the public, the museum is to remain open on the weekend, with staff alternating as to allow weekend leave. Hours will be from 9 AM - 4 PM, with the museum closing on all holidays. Gift shops built in the form of military storehouses and and a cafeteria area resembling FICR and OCDP bunker mess halls are provided. Admission is free, as all museums are. Parking consists of a few dozen scooter parking spaces, otherwise, a 3-minute walk from the local light rail station is the only way of traveling to the museum.

National Server Network Connects With Mundus
The SICR's public internet, or the National Server Network(NSN), is now connected with the rest of Mundus' internet, allowing dragonaii access to such platforms such as Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, etc without having to leave the country to use computers in ND or Quintelia. Even so, the Electorate has explicitly made clear that NSN will still be separate from the rest of Mundus in order to "protect personal information and preserve the integrity of national cybersecurity."
The newly-formed Imperial Cyber Department has additionally stated that "Though the NSN is still serving, dragonaii are reminded to always use incognito mode and secure browsers regardless of the situation. A secure network is advised. Please remember that your activity is monitored only if you are detected to be involved with suspicious activity, in which your access to the NSN and internet, as well as your ability to leave the country, will be suspended until further notice by the BIS and/or NSN."
Though the Starry Earth Party has questioned the need for such practices, the bill has seen positive feedback from dragonaii tired of having to leave the country to simply send messages to friends or family abroad. Congressman Denounces Foreign Rhetoric
A new proposition was conceived this morning at the Electorate unlike any other since the Bruderkrieg Act(1824), immediately sparking heated debate both within the Electorate and online the NSN within twenty minutes of the news release. Put forward by a few members of the Starry Earth and Silver Wings Party, the bill calls for the conclusion of measures intended for the political, economic, and societal climate of the Civil War, including the rationing system, martial law, and summary executions that have been present since the 1830s, in addition to the Emperor-Admiral's ability to liberally override the Electorate and the unrestricted actions allocated to the BIS and military.
The bill further states a reduction in government isolationism and possible talks with other nations in order to foster good relations, in addition to changing multiple national symbols and stances, including the role of drugs and censorship laws to better improve the SICR's foreign relations. The central government would also reduce military spending and infrastructure construction to work on the modernization of information technologies and foreign aid. One section even specifically focuses on the mending of relations with Rokkenjima.
This radical bill was immediately met with fierce resistance by the Cobalt Scales Party, many demanding that the congressmen and women responsible for its conception resign. Hans Yue, a Cobalt Scales congressman responded this afternoon with a scathing speech,
"To give up all precautions of reentering the world stage is complete suicide, especially in a world climate as tenuous as it is now. These reforms are too extreme, too soon.. and if they pass, it will bring the downfall of our nation. Already we are being violated by foreign nations interfering in age-old politics with Sinsu, and our own people fighting amongst themselves at a whim, what more could add gasoline to the fire? We must be brazen, yes, we must be bold, but we cannot be reckless, and cannot trust such nations to look for our best interest! We cannot afford to!
I do not understand how fixing Rokkeinjiman relations would help us in any way. Have you not seen how we are but pawns to them, puppets to be played for their game of dominating Ardia? They lust for power, poking their noses into every nation's business, criticizing, demanding, and downright forcing nations to abide by treaties written by their code and doctrine. They poured honey onto shackles and chains, and yet supporters of this bill have fallen for their lies. Electorate Addresses Clysperis Civil War
The Electorate addressed the state of Clysperis today, saying that "exactly no action will be taken towards or against the Clysperis Confederation and Kingdom until a complete and thorough understanding of the social and political climate is achieved. Therefore, it has been decided to be in the SICR's best interests that observers be dispatched to examine the situation while resources are directed towards other needs." No comment has been made on what actions would be taken if the SICR were to intervene, although many are doubtful towards both sides, a historian of the Imperial Libraries saying, "This feels far too much like our civil war. The only difference is that they are willing to have foreigners aid them in their bloodbath, but that only adds more bodies to the grave." The Imperial Throne has yet to comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, the public has remained fairly divided on the topic, though most agree that if either side is to win, reforms must be instituted. Some have joked about the Royal Clysperis forces, saying, "All of their soldiers will shame the other side on social media and win the war because a good leader must be a role model for their troops!" The Confederation forces were not spared either, with rather 'daring' dragonaii posting memes such as one with a picture of the infamous Civil War Imperial general Yuan Houxing frowning at the captions "Killing innocent religion-goers because down with the religion" and smiling at the captions "Killing everyone in the city because why not". New Vessels Undergoing Sea Trials
A spokesman for the SICRDN has announced the purchase of multiple new vessels from CASC, special emphasis upon three orders of a new class of submarines designated the Huobeijiguang(火北極光) class, destined for the Strategic Naval Reserve. These vessels appear to have finished construction at least several years ago, but following an unusual payment method where the Imperial Administration promised payment after their delivery to the SICRDN in order to legally withhold release of its existence to the public and following that, the BIS has censored all information on the new submarines, other than the fact they are nuclear-powered. In addition to these submarines, there has been the procurement of several new designs for anti-aircraft focused destroyers and guided-missile cruisers.
In the meantime, the newer Sea Serpent submarines are currently undergoing sea trials, and are to be closely followed by their newer Huobeijiguang class brethren later this month. The increased action of the SICRDN has been widely noted as a move to better cover the ancestral weak point of the SICR, the Southwest Coastline, a move applauded by anti-foreign partisans in the Cobalt Scales Party and widely criticized by various members of the Starry Earth Party, with Congresswoman Greta Lowe questioning, "In what need do we have to build up such a massively threatening naval force? A few more coastal defense warships, that I could understand, but more nuclear submarines? Do we plan to traverse the globe in order to protect our homeland? "We Need A True Republic" Minor Political Group Calls For Radical Changes

Concern Over Dragoni Weapons Trade
After the BIS seized a 120-ton bound delivery of what was supposedly agricultural products bound by train for Quintelia turned out to be several dozen assault rifles and other small arms, along with several thousand rounds of ammunition, the Starry Earth Party has forwarded an official government inquiry into the role of the weapons trade present throughout the nation and the growing worry that it may expand into neighboring countries. A full survey of the trade showed that despite police efforts, the sheer number of homegrown gunsmiths has only grown in the last three decades, with almost every criminal organization in the nation, -or even individual lawbreakers, at this point- has access to at least a single automatic firearm with a magazine capacity over twelve rounds, with simple semi-automatic Pattern 32A pistols (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glock#Glock_17) having been found converted into selective-fire, possessing twenty-round box magazines, or in some cases, a fourty-round drum, converted with multiple modification kits into a submachine gun. Even more concern arose when a homemade .50 caliber machine gun was found and promptly confiscated from the garage of [REDACTED BY BIS ORDER], mounted on the back of a home-forged armored car made from a heavy-load vehicle chassis and a large amount of concrete sandwiched in between steel (dismantled by the BIS).
Both historians and politicians attribute the cause of this homemade weapons storm from the Domestic Soldier Act (1897) and Homefront Defensive Line Acts (1900), initiated to instruct and equip civilian populations with the ability to produce home-made weapons to combat an enemy occupation. Hundreds lost their lives to cave-ins, misfires, and chemical poisoning from equipment, while thousands still fought with unreliable weaponry probably manufactured in their neighbors' basement. Single-use village militia weaponry dominated the battles of 1903-1913, as simple arquebuses loaded with metal scrap and stones were used as crudely designed traps designed to harass and severely injure patrols.
Further still, during the final years of the war, the OCDP began mass-producing tanks to overwhelm the front lines, causing the now-SICR to respond with forcing its intellectual population into engineering cram schools, where students were taught to create more refined weapon manufacturing techniques and began equipping a small number of settlements with advanced equipment from scrapped military armored trains. Of course, these local resistance techniques exploded with consequences after the conclusion of the civil war, with insurgencies popping up all over the country, in addition to the recent loss of Sinsu just prior to the war's end.
The Electorate remains divided on the issue, with its proponents emphasizing its value for home defense and its opponents highlighting the rise in police casualties. While the BIS remains effective in seizing illegal and unauthorized shipments of weapons outside the country, many worry about the effect it could have should the SICR have a similar politically dividing issue as the Sinsic recognition crisis earlier this year. Nevertheless, the gun trade remains an issue for police and dragonaii alike as even with the crime rate decreasing, smugglers seem to sense a market outside of the SICR.

Foreign Relations Minister Jia-Weiyi Steps Down
Following a letter of resignation to the President, the Foreign Relations Minister has stepped down from her post last night, citing not declining health, nor a desire to spend more time with family, but instead in shame for failing to prevent the humiliation collectively suffered by the nation in the last two years that the SICR has returned to the global stage. The letter was delivered in person by Minister Jia-Weyi, who reportedly carried a case of all her personal belongings and turned in her government badge and seal, in addition to keys of the Foreign Relations Minister's Office. She departed the capital back to her hometown in Lower Zhuhang, Altreich at 11:47 PM IST by high-speed-rail.
Having worked for the government for over 47 years to helping forge foreign policy, the Minister was involved with the dissolution of the SICR's isolationist policies and spent the majority of her career fighting the isolationist parties within the Electorate, while traveling all over the nation to encourage young voters to elect anti-isolationist legislators as the Secretary of External Influence. After President Gang Bingshan's election in 2005, she pushed again for the reemergence of the SICR into Mundus as a highly industrialized trading partner but was not successful until being made Minister of Foreign Relations in 2018 when the Emperor-Admiral chose to finally reestablish contact with neighboring nations.
The 67-year-old left behind several documents outlining how the Imperial Administration was woefully unprepared to deal with modern politics after over a century of brutal war and isolation, leading to disorganized and ill-guided responses to multiple crises, including the Tamora-SICR Trade Incident and the Sinsu Question, both of which were labeled "disgraceful" by the Minister in the gathered number of documents, now being referred to as the "Jia Report" by the media. The best step we can take now is a step back, so that we may consider our decisions and situation more carefully." We will act, and act in however necessary to resolve this problem, in coordination with our allies."

"Away With The AA Before Summer's Day"
Conflict Over The Ardian Assembly Arises
With the fresh memories of the Jia Report in mind plus the humiliating actions (https://independentorder.net/index.php?topic=1111.msg14101#msg14101) forced upon the SICR following dramatic foreign and domestic policy changes, rumors and talks alike have risen in the Electorate in regards to the Ardian Assembly, of which has increasingly been looked upon with contempt by dragonaii lawmakers and citizens alike, and the SICR's membership in it being seen more and more as shackles by the major powers of Ardia binding lesser nations to a prison of bureaucracy.
The majority of the faction opposing the SICR's continued membership in the AA is the CSP and SWP, which has already begun speaking of the AA's ills all over the NSN as well as the radio and political talk shows. The primary catalyst for the departure of the SICR from the AA is the Sinsu-SICR Crisis, of which has been felt to be vastly forced upon the nation, as many see extradition of dragonaii to Achkarein to be charged as outrageous, in addition to the stationing of foreign troops on Imperial soil, seen as a violation of sovereignty, with the SICR's forced consent. A minority have even placed blame on Quintelia for embargoing the SICR in order to resolve the crisis, but they have been frankly ignored under the argument that Quintelia was possibly in conditionally worse political pressure than the SICR at the time, as was New Derusmia's, all hands forced by the Ardian Assembly.
Their opponents consist of the SEP, who have yet to proceed on a unified response against the anti-treaty faction and message for the public. The party itself is divided between lawmakers who genuinely believe that the SICR should stay in the AA for its own benefit while others believe that such action is too hasty but itself not unadvisable. The basis of the pro-treaty argument rests upon the belief that a friendly agreement can be worked out between the other nations of Ardia and turned to be used against Rokkenjima's favor, though when and how still remains unclear.
The public has stayed far from silent, forming in the shape of heated debate wherever a public queue or gathering is, whether that be coffee shops, bakeries, or even athenaeums. Demobilization At Last?
Demobilization, a proposed set of laws and reforms first placed in motion during the late months of 1948, has once more been brought up in the Electorate's chamber. Created as the governing set of laws that would finally set a war-torn SICR on the path to the global stage, the law was set aside in favor of Reemergence, the current doctrine for foreign policy that has seen the expansion of dragonaii military assets and isolationist policies. With foreign relations beginning to drag and the SICR economy barely scraping by every day, the SEP has once more pushed forward the bill in an effort to "reintroduce ourselves the way we originally meant to almost eighty years ago."
Demobilization is no simple task, as experts have pointed out. It first challenges the Emperor-Admiral's powers as a monarch and the Electorate's role as a legislative body, organizing the Imperial Throne into either a constitutional monarch sharing power with the Electorate, abolishing the Electorate in favor of an absolute monarchy, or dissolving the powers and position of the monarchy entirely to replace it with a democratic government. Choosing any of these options would likely immediately set off another political crisis resembling the start of the Civil War, making any decision result with potentially disastrous consequences.
The second purpose of Demobilization is the role of the provincial regions under the central government control. The pre-war FICR possessed larger autonomy for the provincial governors, placing police under the command of the governors, along with the command of each regional National Guard. Following the Civil War's disastrous warlord-like state, the SICR wartime administration focused upon the intense supervision of every county, resulting in the current system of state-sponsored appointments of regional governors by the Electorate. Whether the system will be altered to a federal level again is up for speculation, but given the current regime's current political climate, many political experts have expressed doubt that the provinces will be given much liberty as individual states.
The third function is foreign policy and military involvement abroad. The legislators responsible for the drafting of Demobilization split ideas often on how the SICR would respond to the then-unknown international climate and figured to instead maintain an open mind to new ideas and innovations. Propositions included forming an economic partnership with neighbors while seeking to reclaim Sinsic lands by either military or diplomatic means. Modern politics have thus rendered large portions of this section completely obsolete, to which the SEP has offered a replacement: change the largely xenophobic ideals of the nation and negotiate treaties of friendship between Rokkenjima and Nui Cenneslaig. Criticism has been expressed with the plan's apparent alienation of SANE, but SEP politicians have assured that "something can be arranged."
The fourth and final point is the release of economic and public assets by assuming the end of the War Economy State Measure. Corporations and media outlets would be released from ownership and censorship by the National Economic Commission and BIS, respectively. Many pre-war public establishments, such as the Free Knowledge Acts (which would allow the public to access previously classified government records,) Law Jurisdiction Acts (allowing the Imperial Courts to place accused under trial and barring the BIS from executions-on-site.) A declaration of war would no longer be allocated to only the Emperor, but also would require a 2/3rds vote by the Electorate (and a popular vote in case of a first strike scenario, in which all those who voted for the bill would then be obligated by law to volunteer for military service in some form or manner, ranging from high financial contributions to military research participation to downright serviceman/woman.) and also the consent of the President.
By no means has the bill been passed, but neither has it been thrown out yet, with all three parties considering adapting some parts of Demobilization to their public doctrines. While the debate continues in Nanjing, the public is once again divided between the wartime state that has been the official power-that-be for the last century and the promise of a new system to solve the problems of the First Imperial Republic.

Wartime Military Leftovers May Pose Issue, IFC Warns
After an undiscovered minefield injured a dozen adolescent dragonaii last month and a resulting investigation by the IFC found that military charts detailing the placement of minefields and other boobytraps were either incorrect or missing, a spokesman for the IFC warned that other leftovers from the Civil War that were not disposed of during the Pheonix Era, such as abandoned military motor pools and airbases, in addition to weapon caches and artillery emplacements may pose unintended consequences, as military structures were not heavily tracked for fear of enemy agents discovering and relaying their locations. As a result, anywhere from 23-476 potentially functioning anti-aircraft and medium caliber guns may still be laying around untouched in underground military depots and bunkers, in addition to maybe hundreds of thousands of small arms that range from handguns to heavy 12.7 mm machine guns and anti-material rifles. "Everything needed for an insurrection of massive scale is simply laying around out there," the spokesman cautioned. "Should any outside group choose to, a potentially catastrophic arms trade out of the SICR could occur, allowing a flow of slightly outdated weapons to anywhere on Mundus."
Most of these undiscovered caches seem to be located around the rural and densely mountainous and forested Southern Altreich-West Er'Mingtua areas. The BIS has already announced its intention of launching an investigation of the zone, but many intelligence officers have expressed fears of interests such as forces in Clysperis and Kaitaine using local help to secure a sizable supply.

Most Wartime Dams Only Needs Minor Maintenance, IFC Says
During the routine inspection for the expected overhaul and maintenance of the Civil War-Era National Hydroelectric-Aquatic Units of the Altreich Region, the plants were found to be running just fine, despite having been built in 1923 - 1932 during the most heated part of the Civil War. From the outside, visible damage reveals where OCDP "dam buster" bombs detonated, yet IFC reports show that besides the expected relatively minor structural damage expected from the attacks nearly ninety years ago, the plants are still supplying nearby population centers with fresh water and electricity at steady rates expected by national standards for the time. Additional study has shown that few only things that the dams are in need of are modern turbines and newer failsafe systems.
The project of modernizing of the wartime dams is part of the Revitalized Wartime Project, a government effort to use existing wartime-era infrastructure to power and service civilian centers, converting former settlement bomber runways into local airports and former army supply depots into community centers. Similarly, the dams were formerly used to power the nearby IFC installations and public bunkers. The few installations that will remain operating as normal will be the emergency shelters and stockpiles, along with the National Warning System, one of the networks of alarms and sensors formerly used to detect and defend against air attacks.
The legislation for the Revitalized Wartime Project also includes three clauses requiring the IFC to (1) construct defensive barriers around remote properties and convert aboveground bunkers in ecologically fertile regions into local farm storage centers. (2) Convert the existing Great Wall infrastructure into training grounds and storage centers. (3) Begin processing surplus weaponry into scrap centers for recycling.
While rumors that these clauses are cover for the IFC's construction of [REDACTED BY BIS ORDER] and [REDACTED BY BIS ORDER]/b] silos have been floating around in counter-government media, the government has issued a press statement reassuring citizens that no such measures are being undertaken. Furthermore, due to the project, the Nanjing Central Military Academy is being expanded to include several new branches, the details of which are currently unknown.

Watchers and Drachenwachtern Dissolved, Government Says
In a surprise announcement this morning, the Imperial Administration declared the Drachenwachtern and Watchers organizations dissolved and their assets liquidated and transferred to central government control. The order came down at 2:00 AM SIT and was effective immediately, transferring existing personnel and infrastructure to the authority of the Deep Interior. Vehicles transporting officers from the Deep Interior arrived at the primary Watcher Old Nanjing campus at 2:34 AM SIT to oversee the transfer. Watcher officials were relieved of authority, their commands transferred under the Deep Interior's newly-formed Postwar Hazard Clearance Authority. Databanks and vaults were emptied or sealed, with most of the digitalized records being transferred to the Ministry of the Interior.
Likewise, the temples where the Drachenwachtern were stationed found itself under government supervision by 2:47 AM SIT, with armories emptied in less than two hours with the assistance of BIS personnel. The command structure of the organization is at the time of publication undergoing reorganization to integrate into the Postwar Hazard Clearance Authority. Only objects related to paramilitary/armed actions were taken/transferred, and the process was done with the full consent of property owners.

SICR Southern Line Trains Will Carry Imperial Rail Force Servicemen Names
As the SICR's section of the Southern Line - A swath of former Imperial-OC rail heavy supply rail networks - are being connected and converted for mass civilian transit, new trains have been ordered from Hauffenberg Rail GLC to supply the Nestland rail network. Even as they are manufactured and the standard orange bands are painted on their sides like a standard transport of the country, the public has come forward with the proposition of painting the names of all the Imperial Rail Force's servicemen and women through the years onto the ceilings of each passenger car, with paintings or photographs of members accompanying their names and achievements if possible. The proposal even
entails naming individual cars after the commanding officer or Sergeant of each military armored train car and head engines after Rail Force Commandants of note.
Such an endeavor would've required the extraordinary effort of the government to dig through literal mountains of paperwork and wartime documentation, but thankfully, this is not the first time that the public has submitted such a plan for a memorial. Civilian memorial establishments such as the Bloody Flower Foundation have had volunteers sort through confusing messes of casualty reports and enlistment records for years in order to find names of those who served aboard the ~234 armored trains of the SICR and the countless others who ran the subterranean rail supply networks. This has resulted in the assembly of almost 2,467,349 profiles from the beginning of the war to its end.
In a controversial note, the decision by the government to include the names of those who deserted during the war across the border to neighboring countries like Kodumaa has been fiercely criticized by both living veterans and supporters of the CSP. Quoted from Royalrail1959 on the social media platform Reddit, "How come cowards who jumped the cars during combat get their names and medals engraved on the cars? I fought the Crimsons at Huoying and Beitang, lost a leg at the Sixth Battle of Xueshan when a tank managed to get past the AT guns, but somehow the [EXPLETIVE] who went to the [EXPLETIVE]s across the border and are probably sipping alcohol rations four times the size of a typical ration get their names put on the roof with those of us who earned it? Southern Line Rolling Stock Designs Will Be Exported
The Electorate has recently approved the export of the Hauffenberg Rail (part of Hauffenberg GLC) HSR Mk. IV Baiyun (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/THSR_700T) design to other manufactures of Southern Line participants. Blueprints will be provided along with the assistance of engineers to help familiarize and train foreign workers in constructing the trains for Southern Line use. Already being used as the primary mass transit system across the nation, the trains will not be transferred from the preexisting rail pools of the SICR, contrary to popular word on the internet. Those already being fabricated at the plants in Blut-Himmel Stadt will have production queues deducted as the exports are made.
By exporting the trains, stress will be reduced on the SICR industry to produce enough vehicles by the end of the Southern Line's scheduled construction. Naturally, the assistance is being offered via a request for permission by the Ministry of Foreign Relations, with the first expected departure ready upon acceptance.

THE EMPEROR-ADMIRAL IS DEAD
Following what has apparently been a shocking revealing of his health, as well as final intentions and will for the nation before the Electorate, the Emperor-Admiral returned to his quarters to converse with the Crown Prince, then retired to bed, only to pass away a few hours afterward at 4:03 AM IST, supposedly having requested that he not be disturbed. A panic has erupted even as the Crown Prince has taken the throne, with many politicians supposedly attempting to gain favor with the private monarch by sending gifts of condolence, though the natures of which have not been released to the public.
Furthermore, concerning rumors and reports alike have emerged accusing either the Crown Prince or foreign powers of assassinating the Emperor-Admiral, causing several mobs to gather near regional military arsenals, seeking weapons for they have said is for their own safety. With no guidance from the central government, regional governments have begun accusing one another of plotting against the Imperial Throne, backed by various Electorate members all claiming to have witnessed differing versions of the Emperor-Admiral's last public appearance, ranging from ordering the Electorate dissolved to ordering the National Army to take control. This has resulted in the swift formation of militants and even several local district-officials within Heisen-Draumer mobilizing sympathizing police, National Guard, and National Army units into active duty, attempting to force out or engaging Marine-Guard and still-loyal military forces.
Other counter government forces have chosen this moment to rise up violently, with an organization calling itself the Dragonaii Liberation Front using late Civil War weapons to engage local police and National Guard Units in Ganxi Provinz. Crown Prince Jinxingguo has ordered the military to regroup near local Arsenals, but already contact has been lost with the [REDACTED] and Seventeenth Division. Units of the Imperial Marine-Guard have been deployed to quell the insurrection, but are meeting unexpected resistance against what appear to be large stocks of munitions and well-prepared combatants.
The Deep Interior is currently under fire by "loyalist" politicians, who accuse the BIS of failing to notice the insurrection's activities. Various other organizations under the Deep Interior- for example, departments responsible for political warfare, are also receiving much disapproval for failing to notice the disloyalty of so many politicians and officers.
Even so, the Crown Prince ordered a simple and swift coronation ceremony as he needed to make sure that "Political adjustments are made to the Imperial Administration to prevent further damaging activity, and a resolution to the violent crisis currently underway."
in an equally shocking speech to the Electorate this morning, he has highlighted his intentions to transform the SICR into a republic, promising free elections and freedom of speech to all citizens, as well as a lift on socioeconomic regulations on dragoni lifestyle, such as rationing and draconic punishment. "These acts and propositions were fit for a time gone by decades ago, when hoarding and desertion were rampant. I shall make it my personal mission to see that this nation's flag, tattered and torn by corruption and war, will be mended anew."
His speech also outlined his willingness to work with SANE in the mutual benefit of all members, including more active policies towards regional events. Calling upon Quintelia and New Derusmia, he pleaded, "My father foresaw a future of cooperation, and I intend to carry that out by all means necessary. For that to happen, I need the nation unified, and so I urgently request assistance from President Feish and King Lapu to aid the Nestland in its endeavors to become better than the war-torn, ravaged land that is the SICR."
To the people, he urged solidarity and promised a better future. "We cannot prosper apart. We cannot waste time bickering and waving guns as we have for the last two centuries. We for once have the opportunity to build a future of unity and happiness based not on the occasional flag on a blood-soaked hill, but a grassy valley for which we may reforge our nation anew- let us seize it."
At the end of his speech, he outlined key points that he wished to implement in a future constitution that he would seek to negotiate with the Electorate for. These include a presidential term of five years, with an option to be reelected twice, commercialization of industry (barring military-related conglomerates), a universal right to a fair trial, a standard humane capital punishment, and the reformation of the Ministry of the Deep Interior.

Emperor Jinxingguo Declares New Economic Policies And Military Offensives
Speaking from the interior balcony of Nanjing's Municipal City Hall, the Emperor-Admiral announced several new changes to the Imperial Administration's policies, including several incredibly ambitious projects and initiatives meant to reinvigorate the national economy. In addition to these economic measures, Imperial Military Decree No. 567 has been issued to the Armed Forces, ordering the recapture and stabilization of the Altreich region by "all measures necessary to ensure the peace."
The Emperor-Admiral explained that the nation has "too many jobs and not enough people. We have thousands of factories closed because we simply lack the population to run them. Our civil war has ironically decimated our nation's ability to operate the very industrial powerhouse we assembled to feed it, making us rely on a smaller core of factories and assembly plants within the Blut-Himmel Stadt area. My resolution to this issue is to carry out a policy of political openness to immigration and offering refugees a place to start anew. My father's decision to bring in a foreign population was a step in the correct direction, despite the controversy it brought in the method he used."
In accordance with this plan, the Imperial Administration is offering full citizenship and paid university-level education for any immigrant, with guaranteed housing and accelerated citizenship for family members. Government healthcare is provided by right. Retirees may seek a government pension of 480 IM a week at the age of 60. In return, the government will grant citizenship through a green card after a one-year naturalization period.
Furthermore, hundreds of illegal arms industry workshops have been seized and their resources and machinery repurposed for other industries as means of dismantling the arms trade. The arms themselves are to be melted down for scrap, though there are rumors that the ammunition is being confiscated for military stock use.
In regards to military action, the 4th and 6th Nationalist Army Divisions have been deployed to assault anti-government forces near the major metallurgies of Jinlu, which contains around 23% of the nation's refined metal production. Police and National Guard have been fighting one another in the city's streets for days, both attempting to hold out until the military can reinforce them with armored support. Drive-by attacks by both sides have forced most dragonaii noncombatants to seek shelter in the emergency bunkers even as rioters and soldiers fight in the streets.
However, Jinlu is only one of the two major hotspots where violence is at its extreme, the other being near the outskirts of Blut Himmel Stadt. For the anti-government territory, there is word that the majority of its inhabitants support the Imperial Administration, supported by the refusal of Er'Mingtua police to surrender and join anti-government forces. Some cities are seeing small demonstrations against government actions, but for the most part, there is widespread support for the government. The military has promised that the insurrection's ranks are thin enough to be surrounded and removed from the action if joint SANE and SICR forces move quickly to cut off access to vital infrastructure junctions near Heisen-Dumingjia.

Despite determined attacks by anti-government forces, the strategic metallurgical city remains in Imperial hands. After several tense of months of intense street-to-street fighting, insurrectionists have been pushed back and out of the city limits entirely, where government and SANE allied forces can now engage without the threat of civilian casualties.
Around sixty-five servicemen and women have lost their lives in the course of duty taking the city, while a further two hundred and twenty-five are wounded in action. The Imperial Armed Forces has stated that most of these casualties are the result of IEDs, of which encountered have ranged from simple phone or radio-activated munition bundles to refurbished Civil War-era roadside mines. Measures are being taken to increase the ability to detect and disarm these hazards, but analysts have highlighted the military's overall overreliance on older defensive doctrines and moved too quickly during the offensive.
It is suspected that the SANE and government forces will next move to assist the forces defending Heisen-Dumingjia, though an unexpected major assault by both National Guard and Nationalist Army, assisted by the Special Response Groups of the Deep Interior and allied armored SANE forces has pushed through insurrectionist forces in Wangdu-Essen Provinz, severing western DLF forces in half. The success is reportedly already causing chaos amongst insurrectionist ranks, but these are yet to be confirmed.
Public opinion of the new government and current civil conflict remains divided, but a recent poll conducted by the University of Eltenbacht has shown that over 65% of the nation current reign, 17% divided, and the rest choosing not to answer. National Forums Formed By Imperial Decree
During an Imperial Palace press conference today, it was revealed that the Imperial Archives, Libraries, and Universities had been reformed into several new organizations or absorbed into existing branches of the government. These include the National Forums, a public debate organization for use by primarily students and academics alike to discuss the state and solutions of the administration. It is hoped that through the implementation of this institution that education and understanding of the national situation is more more widespread and complete through cooperative discussion.
The Forums will consist of three levels of debate: constructive, educational, and argumentative. Constructive debates will suit to seek a resolution for the chosen issue, educational will be to inform and educate attendees over a certain topic of discussion through collected information by the attendees and separate truth from fact, or if not possible, areas of known or possible certainties. Argumentative debates will discuss the complete knowledge of a controversial topic and attendees will each pick or create their own side and defend it constructively. The Forums themselveswill consist of rooms to house up to a dozen or more debaters in more major disputes, but "casual" debates between smaller groups can be done as well.
Consisting of both physical structures with construction slated to begin in November for each province and now-complete digital discussion boards, it is expected that the political discussion system will soon find its way into the education system, most likely those in preliminary-college schools. A national debate is also scheduled soon over the topic of slavery in Mundus, notably for Tamora and related discourse of international response on the matter. Recently a coalition of veterans memorial groups and their youth successors (including the Veterans of the Sixteenth White Sun Offensive, Sons of the Venerable Imperial Grand Army Veterans, Old Moon Offensive Association, Honorable Broken Sun Warriors Organization and Bloody Rivers Offensive Memorial Association) have engaged a weeklong reenactment from October 4 to October 10 in remembrance of the Thirty-first Grand Fall Offensive in 1938. Around three hundred attendees are participating outside Nanjing in the historic Battlefield Erchang National Park Memorial Site, many recording the event on GoPro commercial mountable sport action cameras.
"It's a way for us to remember the war and those who died in it," Corporal Han Yujing told us as he leaned on a trench shovel by a freshly-dug foxhole. "Some things you can't learn by just reading the books and listening to grandfather about. You have to get out here in the sun and feel the kind of emotions the soldiers felt ninety, eighty-so years ago. Sure, our cardboard blanks for our rifles and cannons don't do justice to what actually happened, but I should think that's enough detail when we spend the day performing suicide charge after suicide charge. The sounds is what really gets to people." He's dressed in the Imperial Engineers' fall garb, with a thick cloak in alpine camoflauge with his sleeves rolled up. A light submachine hangs from his shoulder, which he says is remarkably realistic for number of times it's already jammed. The participants 'respawn' if they die via a sort of honor system, something that the reenactor says has been adhered to very fervently during the event.
When asked about his own family's service, the young man mentioned his father. "He was an assault trooper in the Eighteenth Infantry Division and came home at the end of the war without several fingers and a good part of his hearing. Won a bunch of medals for it. Even though he passed away a couple years ago, he'd always sit me on his lap and tell me about the war and all the times he'd sit in the freezing snow for solid months at a time waiting for the attack order, but also the good memories, like when they'd celebrate the lunar new year with the rare mooncake."
The event will last the rest of the week, with equipment supplied by both the National Museum and veterans organizations, with spectators watching from the various sources on both social media and reporters covering the action live.

Congressman Guo Haimen made remarks on the state of the nation during an address to the public on the reformation of the Electorate by his Imperial Majesty, of which is expected to see a full reorganization by the end of the week. The speech went over the subjects of both foreign and domestic policy, declaring the current party system outdated and suggesting for reformation of the government system, with political parties reserved to an advisory role, among other details, such as emphasis on funding educational reform. It also declared the nearing end of 2020, urging a greater role in international politics, namely dismantlement of slavery in Tamora in a different approach.
"It is likely that the sanctions implemented by foreign nations at the call of the Rokkenjiman state only encourage the growth of slavery within the Empire of Tamora- after all, it is those unable to sustain themselves that ultimately end up in shackles and a life of servitude. Therefore with this understanding in mind, I propose a different approach: why not dismantle slavery by creating jobs? Tamora relies on the raw strength of this unpaid labor- we should make it our duty as fellow human beings upon Mundus to educate and empower those unable to, cleansing the rot of forced labor from all lands."
The speech ended by lastly touching upon the tenuous future of the SICR itself: the civil conflict will undoubtedly end soon, and with it, the old government of Civil War-era political compromises and deals. The current Electorate's congress should make steps to not secure future ballots for their seats, but instead to make room for Demobilization's resolutions to ensure a complete and successful transition to a true republic's administration and ensure democracy's survival in the Nestland.
The Congressman was met with mixed responses; many feel that the subject of Dragonaii-Tamoran relationship remains an unsteady one with Rokkenjima's clear stance on the matter, others that such a goal is lofty and unrealistic, among other concerns of destabilizing the status quo of political parties to a rather untested and shaky political system.

With Jinlu's successful defense and the successful offensive by SANE forces dividing the PLF forces in half, Nanjing is no longer under threat of siege. With this victory, the Emperor-Admiral has announced his intention to go forward with the planned transition towards a functioning democratic state. A multitude of foreign powers have extended offers to the government to assist in the process, including New Derusmia, whose participation in the civil conflict has been instrumental in the success of the ongoing offensive.
The convention will be held at the Imperial Palace's Eastern Meeting Annex and is planned to to take several days to plan out, where the Emperor-Admiral, a section of the public, and the current Electorate will be in attendance to discuss the formation of the SICR's new government structure. Among the subjects to be discussed will include the viability and implementation of a national constitution, as well as a properly moderated legislature.
If the convention is a success, a fully functioning government structure will be produced and allow the proper development of the Nestland into a modern state. There are multiple hurdles however, including much fear of foreign ulterior motives in the meeting that may destabilize or weaken the leadership for the foreseeable future.
With many foreign nationals and their leaders in attendance, security has been ramped up to the maximum, with members of the Deep Interior screening all attendees, in addition to limiting public participation to live broadcasts. Imperial House Guard, in addition to the Imperial Marine-Guard will be handling further security inside the complex itself.

Recent reports from the Department of Transportation and Nationalist Army (responsible for the administration of the Imperial Engineering Corps) have confirmed that current work on the Southern Line rail line is going smoothly, with around twenty-three kilometers of rail now repaired and fully servicable.
With much of the infrastructure lining the route being Civil War-era supply lines, there have been concerns of their safety- however the government has reassured such worries are unfounded with the work detail having been tasked with the dismantlement and revitalization of the rail line.
Other worries about PLF attacks have been informed of protection provided by government military forces in the region guarding the progress, though a recent incident regarding a misplaced bag on site that was mistaken for an explosive did set many on their toes. Regardless, recent efforts by government forces to reinforce IFC units already present is doing much to quell this concern.
Work is expected to be completed by this December, connecting Quintelia and possibly soon Kodumaa to Ui Cenneslaig through the SICR.

The Imperial Armed Forces have announced that the combined SANE forces against the anti-government insurgents have successfully quelled the majority of resistance in the eastern pocket, with major leaders in the area reportedly willing to talk terms of surrender for remaining forces in the area. As a gesture of goodwill, negotiations with independent cells have already resulted in a ceasefire while disarmament and terms of demobilization are sought out. Current reports provided by the government have outlined terms that include post-war employment and the forfeiture of all weapons as well as a suspension from participating in office until further notice by the Ministry of the Interior. Combatants will be allowed to retain pre-war pensions and their rights as citizens will be restored during post-war investigation. While the state of acceptance by the receiving diplomats is currently unknown, it is widely projected to be in favor of acceptance.
The estimated damage to the area is estimated to be at around 14-17 million IM, officers of government calling the extent of effect to be "surprisingly minimal." Though much fighting took place in the urban areas, the majority of combat is shown to have taken place in structures and sectors abandoned after the Civil War, many awaiting revitalization for expected population growth in coming years, delayed by the conflict. This in turn has widely prevented civilian casualties and allowed for a more or less continued function of regional populations even with the conflict raging a few blocks away. Nevertheless, about 489 government personnel casualties have been counted, with about seventy deaths in military, police, and Deep Interior units, with six non-combatant deaths and around 2,500 casualties for the PLF, mainly wounded with an unknown number dead. Even so, military commanders are calling the operation a success, with several military forces already redirecting attention to the other pockets at the West and Central areas of operation.
The conflict itself has exposed a very large weakness in more than just the SICR's society as a whole that needs to be addressed- the sheer availability of arms in the Nestland has allowed for a small political situation such as the ascension of his Imperial Majesty to escalate to a full-scale insurgency. Instead of protracted demonstrations, our nation resorted directly to violence when a large number of citizens were met by a policy they strongly disagreed with. The Emperor-Admiral has expressed that he has plans to resolve this, in the form of a proposed policy known as The Party Educative State, modeled after the 'political tutelage' philosophy of the Civil War's middle era. How this will impact the future of the SICR and to what extent remains to be seen, of course, but with the planned constitutional convention to be soon open to the international community, there is no doubt that it will find plenty of opposition from both within and abroad.

The word ceasefire is well not included as of now in the dictionary of insurgents as a major offensive action towards the major city of BMS has seen significant progress in successfully seizing the unpopulated outskirts of the city from defending forces of the government, even with air support and superior numbers. While the reason for this failure is being placed mostly on poor preparation, government forces have still managed to successfully hold the southern downtown areas leading to the major industrial and commercial districts. The brave actions of both local law enforcement to Wilderjager ranger teams have turned the fighting into a stalemate with both sides creating a no-pass zone across the intercity limits and streets, where snipers have reportedly set up shop in.
Even more concerning events have taken place in the western half of the nation as at least fifteen Civil War-era OC armored vehicles were encountered during the fighting, being somehow restored to action by insurgents, alongside a number of vintage Imperial Army armored cars recovered from a scrapyard at the outskirts of BMS. Swift counterattacks by government and SANE forces disabled their attempted deployment, but concerns have arisen as to what to do with the large number of remaining war equipment so easily acquired for use by anyone trained proficiently.
The civilian population has meanwhile seen minor displacement impact, most moving to the northern outskirts' residential districts that have seen similar issues with post-war abandonment. Work for most remains only marginally affected, alongside a reluctance by the insurgents to fire on the city proper with artillery. However, power did cut out for several hours for several sectors of the city as power stations located on the hillsides of the outskirts, prompting residents to simply switch on civil war-era block gas generators to keep the lights on until power could be rerouted.
Inflation On The Horizon As Civil Conflict Drags On

There is a worrying prospect of economic damages being sustained by the national economy as the conflict progresses, forcing further government spending in addition to a full century's worth of prior civil war. The IM is not expected to hold up as prices begin to climb for basic goods. Resistance is projected to be non-effective by mid-2021, by most estimates, by then which the economy should see restoration with haste as SANE allies assist in rebuilding.
