Hi everyone,

I've been working on my nation's lore in my free time for a while now, really looking forward to hopping into the RP and getting down to business. Any advice for getting started?

Advice for getting started?  The most obvious things to prioritize will include fleshing out your factbook (if you're like me, it'll remain a work in progress more or less permanently), finding an open RP to join, and starting some stuff of your own.  For things that you're planning to start yourself, news posts are probably the easiest way to let others in on the inner workings of your nation.  Our Discord is also a wonderful resource for ideas and getting together with other nations.  Essentially, just hop on in; our community is very welcoming.

Hello and welcome to TIO! Aside from what Tytor has already said. Look around and they to contact your neighbors(or closest nations if you don't have nations bordering your) via Discord and see if you can set up something.
