KING TO SUPPORT WHITE WITCHES VISION
Yesterday the leader of the Domion, the White Witch Lady Rhiannon, concluded the annual Grand Coven with a speech about her vision for the future of the Lymmite Wiccan faith. Immediately following the speech King Rhodri said that he would "provide all finiancial support required " and that all diplomatic appointees will conform to Lady Rhiannon's expectations.

The Grand Coven has been meeting to discuss changes in policy across the Dominion and while minor changes have been made in several areas such as education curriculums and health care funding the shift in foreign policy was the most significant part. In her keynote speech the White Witch spoke of her aims utilising an old folklore tale.

"At the moment I view our Dominion in a way similar to a tale my grand-mother told me. There was once, a long time ago, three brothers who having been born in a cave believed it was the whole world. They lived eating the moss on the walls and drank the drips of water that fell from the ceiling. Their only entertainment was the shadows cast on the walls by the fire that burned in the centre of their otherwise lightless home. To them that cave was the whole world. They would spend their days sat talking about the meaning of the flickering and ever changing shadows. One of them though dreamt of more, he dreamt of things he knew he would never see for despite his dreams he knew all that existed was the cave. That was until one day a storm raged outside and a small gust of wind found its way into the cave which made the fire dance in new ways they had never seen before. While his two brothers sat amazed at the newness before them the dreamer felt the sensation of the wind on his back. He stood and moved away from the fire ignoring his brothers suggestions he return to see the marvels before them in the fire. He walked into the darkness of the cave and there he found as he kept following the feel of the wind on his face the light from the fire disappear behind him, plunging him into complete darkness. Groping in the dark and feeling his way along the cave walls he continued to follow the wind until little by little a new light appeared before him, he continued to walk and soon as he turned a corner in the narrow passage he felt his eyes burning from the brightness before him. There was more light than he had ever imagined and he began to curse his fortune believing his curiosity was now going to lead to his end. Soon though his eyes adjusted and there spread before him was the world, lush, green and beautiful. He began to sob as even in his own dreams he had never imagined so much colour and beauty. From his position high up on the mountainside he climbed upwards to the summit from where he gazed in every direction and the world stretched before him as far as the eyes could see. He couldn't wait now to show his brothers what he had found and so climbed down and returned to see his brothers had all but forgotten his departure instead giggling and laughing at the flame shadow show. He told them what he had seen yet they mocked him saying he was dreaming and he urged them to follow him out to the light. Yet why would they leave a place where they had everything they need, they had water, food and the light and warmth of the fire. There was nothing else. With a heavy heart the dreamer left them again but was determined to bring the light to them. He ascended once more to the summit of the mountain and began to dig downwards. It took him hundreds of years but through all that time he never lost his purpose until one day he began to break in through the roof. The two other brothers saw their whole world disappear before their eyes as the blinding light flooded their dark cave for the first time ever. Soon their eyes adjusted and it was as though they were reborn into a whole new world of bright vivid colour, of beauty and of joy. Our Wiccan faith has for too long been like those in the cave. We have been content with the Dominion being home to the faith. We have allowed Mundus to be like the two brothers who were unwilling to see the world, we have allowed Mundus to sit ignorant of the great power and great love our faith can bring. That must be no more and, even if it takes as long as it did for the dreamer to dig through the mountain, we must expose Mundus to the light. That shall be our mission."

King Rhodri was seen applauding along with the rest of the crowd and has promised now that all ambassadors will be tasked not just with representing the nation but with spreading the faith.
