The East Moreland Aircraft Company was established in 1922 in Silverhills by Sir Richard Hills a former military engineer. He had become fascinated with aviation during his time in the military and was determined to make his own aircraft out of various bits and pieces. His first aircraft, the Silverhills Skylark, flew on 5th July 1923 and was a success. He was asked by the wealthy of Silverhills to begin making aircraft for them as aviation in East Moreland became highly fashionable. By 1940 the company was well established and had moved to Ostlake where it was pressuring the military to invest in aviation research. The company became almost ingrained in East Moreland military planning by 1946 when it took the contract for a new fighter from Jones Engineering which had long held a monopoly on supplying the East Moreland military. In the years that followed EMAC began to export civilian aircraft while fulfilling every contract for the East Moreland military.

Since the 1950's the company began to branch out into all manners of aviation from helicopters, military and civilian aircraft and even space exploration. The company also began developing packages such as missiles, avonics systems and many other sensors for use alongside its military products. In 2010 the company began to take part in many vanity projects designed to improve and test aerodynamic systems as well as associated engineering. These took the part of Speed Records which saw the Supersonic Car (SSC) Honeybadger take the world land speed record, since then they have had the WaterBadger take the water speed record, the Sliding Badger take the rail speed record, the InLineBadger take the two wheeled land speed record, the Ekra-Badger 1 take the GEV speed record and most recently the Lunar Badger take the record for fastest lunar rover.

Inline with East Moreland export laws the company may only export military products to nations that agree to abide by the Uppsala Convention. Today EMAC are arguably the most successful aviation company in Mundus. Today the company is based in Technology City with Sir Alan Maybury as it's CEO.

Is capable of being able to survive direct hits from armor-piercing and high-explosive projectiles up to 23 mm.
It has double-redundant hydraulic flight systems, and a mechanical system as a back up if hydraulics are lost.
The aircraft is designed to be able to fly with one engine, one half of the tail, one elevator, and half of a wing missing

Cost$35million
BackgroundWith forces in the Alps getting into close combat with the Borlanders in the early 1970's there was need for a new aircraft to be able to give close ground support while surviving small arms fire and MANPADS. As such EMAC essentially strapped a plane to a canon that gives greater firepower than most aircraft in the world.

Since 2005 it has been expected to retire however has always survived the chop because of its excellent service record.

BackgroundKnown as the Royal Flight as the first to be built in 1990 was for the monarch of East Moreland. Since then it has been constantly upgraded and the royal version used today is a 5 seater, has seats capable of forming beds and extended fuel tanks including drop tanks giving it a range around 5,000km. It also has onboard a counter-measures system. While the exact nature of the royal aircraft is classified it is still relatively similar to the civilian version.

Spearhead III

Specialist Anti-Ship Missile

Uses composite materials to create a stealthier shape. Kinetic Warheads from the Mk.II removed and warhead made lighter to be 300kg. This would therefore give the missile a top speed of around Mach 2 and a range of 1,000km. The missile also drags a transmitting tether weighing 25kg on a 45meter wire allowing it to travel in advance of any detection.

Spearhead IV

Takes the Mk.III and has upgraded engines meaning a top speed of Mach 3.8 has been reached however "no target altitude testing" has revealed speeds in excess of Mach 4.

DescriptionReconnaissance Airborne Pod Tatical Observation Review

The pod is am imagery data recording system and an air-to-ground data link system. The sensor is electro-optical and infrared, allowing day or night missions. The data link allows imagery to be exploited almost instantly and is fed straight into a screen in the pilots cockpit. The data link can connect up to four pods which when used to view the same target can bring up a 3D image of the target allowing more accurate fire for missiles and other guided weapons. This has often seen the East Moreland Air Force fly missions in at least pairs so as to share data.

UseAir-to-surface missile
DescriptionIt was originally intended for "fire-and-forget" use against mass formations of enemy armour, using active radar homing seeker to ensure accuracy even against moving targets. Soon laser guidance was added allowing a "spotter" to pick out specific targets when friendly forces or civilians were in the area. The missile has three shape charges within the warhead which can be selected to explode in a sequence directed blasts in a certain direction. The tandem shaped charge warhead is also much more effective against modern tanks than older similar weapons, while the ability to create a  small blast area minimises collateral damage. Three Brimstones are carried on a launcher that occupies a single weapon station, allowing a single aircraft to carry many missiles.

We are delighted that we have been entrusted with this order and would be delighted to fulfil it however our terms of business dictate that we take 20% of each aircrafts value as a deposit, as you will no doubt be aware we require the purchase of materials and components to allow us to fulfil your order. Once construction of each aircraft begins this deposit becomes non returnable. Once the manufacturing process hits 50% we require a further 20% of the value to be paid. Finally when the aircraft is delivered we expect the balance to be paid within 30 days. We will be able to commence the construction as soon as we receive acceptance of the conditions I have outlined.

In addition we would when the aircraft reaches 50% completion deploy one of our presentation models to your air force in order for our test pilots to begin making your own nation familiar with the aircraft, connected to this visit would also be a team of engineers who would work with your ground crews ensuring they are fully prepared to keep your new additions in superb condition.

The Achkaerinese Air Force's Planning and Development Group recently came to the conclusion that two types of aircraft that are in service with the Achkaerinese Air Force are in need of replacement as they have served well beyond their expected service life. The two types of aircraft being our Raven type (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panavia_Tornado) and our Bat Type (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Aerospace_Harrier_II). We also around two years ago phased out the Pegasi type (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_F-117_Nighthawk). Having considered several options we would to replace these aircraft with the following:

60 GR.11 Dragonbane II
40 F-5 Dragonbreath

Sir Alan Maybury,

The Armed Himeyan Republic requires AWACS craft in anticipation of expansion of the Himeyan Republican Air Force, and also requires a small number of fighter aircraft for evaluation purposes. We further request a pair of fighter aircraft shipped without an EMAC-produced sensor suite, as we wish to test EMAC airframes with domestic produced sensor equipment.

Our request is as follows;

Two (2) E-3 Albatros

Ten (10) F-3 Dragonheart, single seat

Two (2) F-3 Dragonheart, two seat, with sensor systems omitted

If there are questions to follow up with, please do not hesitate to ask them.

To:- Premier Shiina Musashi

EMAC are delighted to be able to accept your offer. Normally the price of a Dragonheart is $80million, we however realise that by buying two systems utilising no sensor systems means the aircraft is not of the same value. As such we are willing to remove $10million from each of these aircraft. In total the purchase of these systems would be for a price of $800million however in this case because of the special nature of the order we are willing to do the deal for $780million.

Should you be willing to proceed with the deal we will require a 10% down payment. Additionally when the aircraft reaches the 50% point of the production process we would require a further payment of 50% of the remaining fee. The final balance will need to be paid before delivery.

We are also more than happy to welcome your aircrews to our facility at your convenience to begin supporting them in the operation of their future equipment.

If these terms are acceptable we shall commence the production run as soon as possible.

May The Gods Watch Over You and Your Skies Be Clear
