To:- Nehemiah Godfrey, LRA
From:- His Majesties Secret Service; Niš, Kingdom Of

Greetings and Glory to God!

The HMSS has been monitoring the escalating conflict within Centralia and with looming threat upon the horizon, we wish to offer you, our fellow servants of the Lord, assistance in your conflict.
Whilst our nation's religion of Northern Orthodoxy and your organisation's religion may disagree on some aspects of faith, we are both children of the Lord. Regardless of your denomination, the Holy War against those that oppose God's will on Earth, such as your Federal Republic foe, is a war that must be joined by all good Christians.

To that end, we are willing to offer you the following:

-Funds
-Weapons and Ammunition
-Heavy Armaments
-Military Advisers
-Medical Supplies

Specific numbers will be finalised once we have news of your interest in this agreement.

Once the conflict is over, in return for our assistance, we request that all men, women and children that follow the Orthodox faith are allowed to practise freely. We do not doubt that you will pursue this policy, however assurances and promises are always preferred. We also request that you will pursue close relations with us once tensions within your nation are normal.

May the Lord guide our Black Hands, may He grant us peace and deliver us.

(OOC, i'm assuming that the delegation either didn't eat on the way to Nis or only had a light snack)

Basil lead the way within the White Palace, the paintings of his ancestors frowning down at the party as they walked down the main hallway. They walked some more before turning left, into a room with a wide window overlooking a bubbling fountain and swaying flowerbeds. A table was set up in the middle of the room, its mahogany legs contrasting with the rich red carpet of the room, and the dark oak panelling used around on the walls.

The table was set up for around a dozen people, three of the chairs already being taken up by a man in dark clothing silently leaning back in his chair as two young men on either side of him talked earnestly at each other, seemingly to the man's amusement. Upon hearing the sound of the king and delegation enter the room, the man sat up slowly, turning round to greet the entering group.

"Your highness," the man nodded.
Basil quickly introduced the man to the delegation, though it was a formality, as the face of Irinej, Patriarch of Niš in all his priestly attair being beloved with Niš and well known without. Basil explained that his presence here was to ensure that the Church of Niš was happy with all agreements made here as Irinej shook hands with the delegation.

Basil took the seat at the head of the table, and poured himself a small drink from the beaker of liquor there on the table. As servants brought in food for the group, Basil gestured towards the Patriarch.

"Your Holiness, if you may."
He nodded, and closing his eyes he placed his hands over the food, "O Christ God, bless the food and drink of Thy servants, for holy art Thou, always, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen." He made the sign of Christ and sat down.

"So," Basil said, placing a chicken sandwich on his plate and taking a draught from his glass, trying to look smart and respectable, whilst simultaneously informal and friendly, as this shared meal was meant to be, "How fares Samantra's Patriarch, Alexy? I pray he is well? I had hoped that we would be able to get both sides of your government, both secular and theocratic, here today. Maybe some other time, maybe on a visit to your fair nation."

Nišavan Interest Groups

Name: Royal Household of Niš
Made up of: The Nišavan royal family and their direct servants.
Interests: Maintaining their own power and rulership
Important Figures: King Basil Nemanjić IV, Queen-Mother Renja Nemanjić, Baron Dušan Nemanjić
History: The Nemanjić dynasty had ruled the kingdom of Nišava for centuries, and upon inheriting the throne to Basnio ruled it for a few decades too. Eventually, they were forced out of power and fled the country. Now, with the communists overthrown, they once again rule over the lands their ancestors staked as their own.
Type: Informal Organisation
Role within nation: Rulers

Name: The House of Barons
Made up of: All the Barons
Interests: Maintaining their own power and prestige within the nation
Important Figures: Baron Dušan Nemanjić, Baron Kilivoje Đorđevi, Baron Miša Trkulj,
History: Established after the re-instillation of the monarchy, the House of Commons mainly serves to enforce the king's will upon each area, allowing the king to rule more effectively by delegating local matters to local Barons. Whilst the title of Baron is not de jure hereditary, the King often rewards it to the offspring of its previous holder, causing the creation of "Baron Dynasties". These dynasties often battle for power and favour with the king and will often try make the other Barons fall out of favour.
Type: Formal Organisation
Role within nation: Subservient Administrative Organisation

Name: United Armed Forces of Niš (UAFN)
Interests: Maintenance of their influence within the nation and the security of the nation
Important Figures: Field Marshall Miran Tomić, Royal Admiral Siniša Todorović, Air Marshall Zlatan Bačić
History: The Nišavan Military was always remarkably loyal to the nation. They would fight tooth and nail to protect Nišava, and now dedicate themselves to protect Niš. Wielding immense influence and favour with the king, the Military are probably one of the strongest interest groups within Niš. Head of the army is Miran Tomić, a Basnion that rose rapidly up the ranks after his outstanding service within the Glorious Unification War; Siniša Todorović is head of the navy and a distant cousin of the King and his former tutor in Nišavan history and religion; whilst Zlatan Bačić is merely a figurehead for the airforce, de jacto power over it being taken over by his Vice-Marshall's following the outbreak of his dementia and his refusal to stand down.
Type: Formal Organisation
Role within nation: Armed forces

Name: His Royal Majesties' Secret Service (previously the Nišavan Unification Committee, popularly known as the Black Hand)
Interest: Securing the King's power and stability of the state
Important Figures: Director Gavrilo Princip, Under-Director Ivan Lazar
History: Established by the Republic of Nišava, the Nišavan Unification Committee was responsible for sowing the seeds of distrust between the newly formed states of the Republic of Nišava and the Republic of Basnio, thus being directly responsible for the outbreak of the war and the ensuing genocide. Following the re-establishment of the Monarchy, the organisation was renamed and stripped apart, the previous leadership being forced into a wealthy retirement and replaced with men more loyal to the King.
Type: Formal Organisation
Role within nation: Secret Service

AN APPLICATION FOR SITE REGISTRATION

Name of Site:- Dečani Monastery
Location:- Zrenjanin, Kingdom of Niš

Description of Site:- Started by Stefan Dečanski and finished by the great Nišavan Emperor Stefan Dušan (both of House Nemanjić) in the early 14th Century, the Monastery has stayed intact and relatively preserved for over 7 centuries. The church has five-nave naos, a three-part iconostasis, and a three-nave parvise. With the dome, it is 26 m high. Christ the Judge is shown surrounded by angels in the western part of the church. There are twenty major cycles of fresco murals and it features over 1000 compositions and several thousand portraits on the inside. The frescos and portraits represent the best preserved collection of medieval Nišavan art, anywhere.

Аrchitectural plan of the monastery

Interior

Why is the site significant beyond its own nation?:-

1. Dečani represents an exceptional example of medieval architecture and sculpture on the territory of the Imperial Rus spiritual sphere, i.e. an original
combination of the traditional Imperial Rus church with contemporary Romanic-Gothic architecture of the South, the largest preserved Niš and Eastern Rus monument; the monastery of Dečani is unique among Orthodox monasteries in East Arayne, an East Christian temple built and decorated by the Catholic craftsmen from the lower southern coast region.

2. The Dečani paintings are the largest preserved fresco entirety of the Medieval Rus world, the largest source of data concerning Medieval Rus iconography, and an exceptional witness to the diverse style trends in Medieval Rus art during the middle of the 14th century; remarkable series of mural paintings are of outstanding artistic quality, done by numerous painters of different knowledge and origin (from Samantra, Niš, Halych), who worked for almost 15 years and covered the area of about 4000 square meters.

3. During four centuries following their creation, the Dečani wall paintings exerted an exceptionally great influence on painters who decorated the walls of numerous churches in medieval Nišava, especially after the restoration of the Peć Patriarchate in 1557 on the territory of the former state; the role of the Dečani frescoes in the development of the Orthodox art of the East Arayne area during the period of Communist domination was decisive and it is unavoidable in research of the post-Imperial Rus monuments.

4. Dečani Monastery is closely connected to protagonists and events of the greatest importance for medieval history of the East Arayne area, especially of the 14th century and the changes that took part with the organisation and the borders of the countries whose territories occupied the area, such as Imperial Rus, Nišava, Halych etc.

Signed

Basil, by the Grace of God, King of the Nišavans

Teth glared angrily at the imperial storm trooper in front of him. He had been trying to make his way to where his neighbour, Old Man Kleet (a retired Trandoshan mercenary nearing the end of his life), would sell his grain at his stall. But the short man in the white armour was saying all kinds of stuff that grated on the nerves of the already grumpy Talz and he had had enough of it.

With a flick of his wrist, and a shout of obscenities that A-2H did not translate for him, he sent the storm trooper flying across the market, before rounding on his accomplice and bashing him over the head. The first storm trooper went flying into Old Man Kleet's stall, sending his sacks of grain spilling all over the place. Angrily, the Trandoshan punched the storm trooper, sending him stumbling into a group of people. Fighting descended into the market. Shouts of imperial soldiers could be heard, trying to restore order, but the chaos of the melee and the sudden ripple of blaster fire distracted from that.

Teth picked up a large ceramic pot, and threw it at a storm trooper, the momentum of the throw spinning him around, causing him to accidentally bundle into a group of two humans that had taken a step back when the fighting broke out, glancing at them, A-2H translated his hurried apology, as the butt of a blaster slammed into his face.

128
Teth looked up as the Imperial TIE fighter flew low over the valley in which he had his home, and screeched along. Ever since that imperial highup had arrived to oversee whatever imperial exercise was happening, TIE fighters had been a consistent feature of Kothlis' sky. Not that he could prove it, but he was sure that the constant screeching and whatever space engine fuel they were leaking on their flights was disturbing the activity of his beer worms, reducing their appetites, and thus reducing the amount of their secretions. Without their secretions he couldn't make beer. His one-man business was also hurt in another way by the recent influx of imperial force; every time he went to the market he got harassed by the storm troopers there, causing him to often drop and spill the sacks of grain he had to haul up the hill to his home.

Walking into the silo where he kept the grain for brewing, and checked the levels. Sighing, he saw that the grain levels required him to pick up some more from the markets within the nearby city. He went into his house, and pulled on his backpack, the head of A-2H "waking up" as he pulled the pack out of its charging slot. Putting a bag over his shoulder, Teth began to walk into town.

129
Name: Teth Vum
Race: Talz
Age: 35
Homeworld: Orto Plutonia
Occupation: Brewer
Force Sensitivity: Yes
Biography: After a series of unfortunate events that lead to him being locked in a smugglers cargo hold, covered in honey, Teth found himself stranded on the planet of Kothlis. After drifting from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, unemployed, he eventually salvaged a protocol droid (its head at least) and, after hooking it up to a battery, found a way to communicate with the locals. His seemingly unnatural ability so sniff out any bluff and shake the nerves of any hardened gambler netted him a small fortune, which he used to buy a small, rundown brewery. He invested a significant portion of his wealth into restoring the place, realising at the last minute that he's been buying the materials at a grossly overvalued price, wrecking his fortune. Dissatisfied with life, he looks to the stars.

Satanic science in Heyra!
Recently, the small nation of Heyra unveiled its latest attempt to play God.
The Human Enhancement Act, approved by the Heyran National Council, allows the scientists of this demonic republic to meddle in God's domain, touching the sacred realm of the secret of life.
They confess to attempting to "improve" the sacred DNA given to us individually by the Lord. Such sacrilege should not stand.
His Holiness, Porfirije, our beloved Patriarch, released a statement on behalf of the bishops of Niš, denouncing the new act. Quotes from the statement include him rightfully calling it an "abomination in the eyes of the Lord" and denouncing all attempts to meddle with the sacred process of life as "meddling where man was not designed to meddle".
His Highness's Household issued a similar statement, condemning the move as "disregarding the natural laws of the universe". They commented upon how the Heyran National Assembly "dared to call itself christian when it has made such a move."

Prince of Aosta killed by treason
Prince Lorenzo was tragically killed by treacherous members of the general staff this Friday.
An attempted attack on three-year-old Emperor Aosta tragically resulted in the death of Prince Lorenzo. The attack took place during the morning, when members of the emperor's security detail (allied with those who attempted a similar attempt to assassinate the princess regent) turned their comrades on their weapons and tried to kill the child Emperor.

Loyal guards were quickly overwhelmed, and when reinforcements arrived, there were only a few left standing. It is said that Prince Lorenzo took up arms in defence of the Emperor and was killed. He was cremated along with loyal guards who also perished, and their ashes were scattered together along the bizarre spiritual lines of their faith. To the survivors of the attack, and those who didn't, we wishes well.

Several nations have expressed their official condolences to the nation of Aosta.

Volunteers flock to Halych
Since the outbreak of the civil war in Halych, the people have been on the lookout for what's going on in the conflict.
Many citizens feared the potential of communist Halych rising from the civil war, fearing it could result in a new war of communist aggression against the free nations of the Mundus. Many remember the days of the Socialist Federal Republic, which, while not the worst years serbs have ever faced, is not remembered fondly by everyone.

Many concerned citizens have decided to resolve the issue themselves. Fearing a potential future that the children of Halych might face under communism and a desire to protect their fellow followers of the Lord from godless communists, people take action where the state cannot.

Last Wednesday, the Volunteer Army for Halych (VAH) was formed, a nonprofit created by citizens to arm and support civilians who are willing to die and kill to protect the future from communism. Hundreds have already signed up. The nation prays to these brave volunteers.

Vignettes / A very merry Christmas
« on: December 25, 2021, 10:18:52 PM »
Main Dining Room, the White Palace, Kingdom of Niš, 7th January 2022

King Basil stood at the head of the table. Both sides of the table were filled with chatting, smiling faces. All 24 barons sat at the same table, for once united in Christmas Cheer, the disagreements that were often seen between them forgotten for the day. Basil's immediate family sat near him, his Queen-Mother Renja, his brother Dušan and his two younger sisters (Jana and Petra) laughing merrily amongst themselves. The various wives of the barons chattered to each other next to their husbands. Everyone had a glass of rakija, most of which were half empty, save the Serbian Patriarch, Porfirije, who sat at one end of the table with his two young attendants, who had only a large glass of water to wet his lips.
Small children played in a window alcove, their little table (cutlery and plates set out ready for them) covered in the various toys and puzzles they had been gifted by their powerful parents. From the hall, the guests could smell the rich scents of the palace's cooking staff preparing the upcoming christmas dinner, eagerly awaited by all at the table.

Basil clapped his hands three times and the sounds of merriment gradually faded away as people turned their attention to the young king.

"Здравица!" he said and the table responded with similar cries.
"За народ Ниша!" he proclaimed and the table raised their glasses and echoed his call.
"У цркву!", "У краљевство!", "За Бога!", "За наше пријатеље и породицу!". Each time the table raised their glasses and repeated after the King.

Basil cleared his throat and gave one final statement: "Са тим, пријатељи, хајде да вечерамо! Срећан Божић!"
Cheers went up at that and Basil sat down as servants carried in steaming dishes of Christmas dinner. In the corner of the room, a piano and violin opened up and began to play. Basil sat back down, and smiled to himself.
His first christmas as a powered king, and hopefully the first of many.
As he tucked into his meal, with the sounds of merriment and agreement from those around him, he wished the whole of Mundus a very merry christmas.

Merry Christmas TIO!

Basil IV, by the Grace of God, King of the Serbs, stood waiting by the front window of the White Palace.
Checking his schedule, the delegation from Samantra would soon arrive, having landed at Niš Uroš the Great Airport and being swifted escorted on the road towards the Royal District of Niš.
Once they arrived, they'd exchange pleasantries over a light lunch, before retiring to a study to discuss the various diplomatic friendliness that he aimed to achieve with his neighbour.
He tucked his pocket watch into his jacket's pocket and turned towards the door, walking out of the drawing room, and stepped into the hallway. He was joined by his General Secretary, Baron Vojnović, and his Personal Secretary, Natasa Bojevi. Together, they walked out the door, and onto the drive, where the vehicle containing the foreign delegation could be seen pulling into the gates at the far end of the drive.
He straightened his tie, and straightened his back, attempting to look as dignified and smart as his position expected him to be. The car pulled up and a footman swiftly opened the door and stepped back.
Basil leaned forwards and shook President Litvin's hand.
"Welcome to the White Palace," he said, "please, come in."

History of Niš

Niš was established on the 9th of November, 1979. Originally, it was composed of the former territories of the FSS Nišavia and the FSS Blitkentia, both former parts of the FSUR Severrusavia, which dissolved on the 7th of November, 1979. Though a Republic in its earliest days, a referendum held voted to establish a Monarchy, so the Royal Family of Nišavia was invited to be crowned. Despite initial hopes that the family would surrender direct power to a constitutional assembly by the Niš's founders, careful navigation of the state apparatus lead to this never coming to fruition.  The new Kingdom was stated to be a direct continuation of Nišavia, and so absorbed its church and other functions.

The Royal Family, continuing to hold claims to Basnio, now an independent Republic, due to their 1902 inheritance of the Kingdom of Basnio demanded Basnio join under Niš. Basnio refused, the nation's Sunni faith clashing with that of the Nicholasist (Orthodoxy, Autocracy, and Nationality) views of the then-King, Alexander VII. In response to the refusal, Niš declared war upon Basnio, and invaded and conquered the nation over the course of two years, the war ending in 1981. However, failure to keep captured land in check and growing ethno-nationalism in the soldiers of Niš lead to an impromptu genocide, which gradually picked up support from the state, continuing on for almost a decade after the war started, even after all forms of rebellion had stopped. In the ensuing genocide, around 3.5 million Basnions lay dead, with official modern estimates by the state of Niš putting it around only around a hundred thousand, claiming that most of the victims were killed aiding or attempting to aid rebels against the legitimate government with an intent to cause sabotage and death, and so cannot be considered victims of genocide. Most unbiased historians estimate from around 1 million to 5.3 million. The genocide mainly focused on Sunni Basnions, however also included small amounts of other ethnic minorities, including Jews and Roma.

In 1982, following the Nišlijka invasion of Basnio, Niš pressured the governments of Ilirijia, Visina and Aleka into holding national referendums on whether they wanted to be absorbed into Niš. The referendums were hugely problematic, and a few eyebrows are still being raised today, but by a slim majority each of the nations voted to be assimilated into Niš. A year later, Niš launched an invasion into Tralkija, their Casus Belli being that it remained a Soviet aligned dictatorship, despite losing its communist flavouring in the 1980 Trački Revolution. Conquering it in 1985. In 1991, the national assembly of Slovenija, with Niš winning by a great majority (likely due to Slovenija already being a puppet state in all but name due to increasing economic reliance on Niš), formally absorbing Slovenija into it.

Throughout the rest of the 20th century, and the 21st century, Niš set about modernising and liberalising its economy, slashing taxes on the rich during the reign of King Basil III, until he died in a car crash less than a year into his reign, making his younger brother, Vladmir III, King in 1998. Vladmir would successfully revolutionise Niš' economy, bringing it up to par and above its neighbours. After his tragic and premature death to testicular cancer in late 2016.

Basil IV was born in 2004, and become King in 2016 after watching his father die in a hospital bed. Being only 12 at the time of his ascension, the Queen-mother acted as regent on his behalf until he took official and de facto control at the age of 16.

Formed from two Socialist Republics agreeing to merge in 1940 to combat attempted Rodinian and liberal influence in both nations, Severslavia was formed as a union between the US Blitkentia and the SR Nišavia-Basnia. It was heavily federal, with initially three very autonomous democratic governments under a single dictatorial central government, lead by Jacob Tito. As Severslavia grew, more federal governments under it were created.

Sverrusavia stayed neutral and isolationist for most of its lifetime, fearing liberal influence and influence of the USR, however eventually absorbed its neighbouring nations of the SSR Aleka, the Republic of Visinia and the SSR Ilirija. This policy of isolationism was criticised and likened to an ostrich sticking its head in the stand, ignoring the danger of not having any international friends, and was thus christened by dissenters as the ostrich policy. The failures of the ostrich policy began to rear its head when it was abandoned by Tito in 1978 that the economy of Sverrusavia was vastly outmatched by that of the rest of the world, and that a lack of friends, warned off by the ostrich policy, resulted in no partner to pick up the slack to improve the economy, resulting in Sverrusavia becoming a backwater nation economically. The baptism by fire of Sverrusavia into the global economy resulted in an economic backlash, the internal economy crumbling. The growth of poverty also lead to the growth of ethno-nationalism, tensions growing higher and higher, but mainly kept in check.

This all fell apart once Tito died less than a year later in 1979, his successor, Dragan Nevsky, failing to keep tensions under control, resulting in ethnic-inspired violence bursting out disastrously. Seeing the failing state of the union, the local governments mainly refusing to work with each other and the growth in anti-socialist rhetoric even amongst the government, Nevsky formally disbanded the central government, releasing each local government as their own independent republic in 1979 and causing chaos. Several wars between the newly independent nations broke out, with partisan and guerrilla ethnic terrorism erupting along the borders.

Royal Family and the Monarchy
[/size]

The current royal family of Niš is house Nemanjić, a house dating back to the 12th century. House Nemanjić ruled the Kingdom of Nišava for over 200 years in the late middle ages, fading into history. The current house Nemanjić regained control of Nišava in the 20th century, regaining it after several centuries of it under other dynastic rule. The dynastic head of house Nemanjić is Basil IV.

Basil IV was born on the 15th of July, 2004, to Vladmir III, he was crowned King after the death of his father in 2016. His mother ruled in his stead as Queen-Mother-Regent until 2020, when he took de facto control of the nation.

His Most Blessed Majesty Stefan Basil the Fourth, by the Grace of God, King of Niš, King of the Nišavians, the Blitkens, the Aleksijanci, the Tračani, the Iliri, the Visines and the Basnions, Guardian of the Church, Protector of His People.
Titles: King of Niš; King of the Nišavians, the Blitkens, the Aleksijanci, the Tračani, the Iliri, the Visines and the Basnions; Despot of Rashka, Dioclea, Vidin et al; Grand Prince of Niš; Count of Astibus, Belgrade, Bitola et al.

The family is currently based in the Grand City of Niš, from the White Palace. They maintain palaces throughout the Kingdom, including many now no longer used for museum purposes. Many public services of the Kingdom are owned directly by the King, including the nation’s national parks and railway line.

The Throne of Niš follows strict male-only primogeniture. In the incident that the King dies without a son as heir, it will pass to his closest male relative. If there are no male relatives alive of the ruling dynasty, the highest clergy of Niš will pick a new King from amongst the Barons. This succession law was added after Alexander VII retook the throne, in order to prevent his cousin, Emijia of Belgrade, from potentially taking the throne from him.

The Monarchy as an institution takes the form of Blessed Monarchism, the Monarch’s right to rule is blessed by the Lord through the nation’s senior clergy. If they feel that the Monarch has gone against God, the clergy can call a vote in which a unanimous result against the Monarch will force him to abdicate to the next in line.

Peacetime Anthem Lyrics
Spoiler: show

God of justice, save thy people,
Lord, protect us day by day;
Hear our voices supplicating,
Grant salvation now, we pray.

Blessed homeland, we salute thee,
Fairest proud soil, heroes hold dear.
Fatherland, allegiance we pledge,
Honouring thee, land without peer.

"Advance with banners waving!
Fight on!" our heroes cry.
To save our country's glory
The roaring guns reply.

God protect our noble monarch,
God watch over great and small,
God sustain and guide King Stefan,
God defend and keep us all!

Wartime Anthem Lyrics
Spoiler: show

Falcons, grey birds
Falcons, grey birds,
Dražinići, my sons,
Draža's calling, The Crown needs us
to battle we shall go.

From Ravna Gora the trumpets call:
"Do you feel sorry for your loves back home?"
We don't miss them,
our hearts are set on fighting.

When your chests and hearts are bleeding,
do you feel sorry for your mothers?
Our mothers' blessings are always with us,
we will gladly give our lives.

Do you feel sorry for our native land,
for our enemies are ruling her?
Her we mourn and for her we struggle,
for her we shall all give our lives.

King Stefan, you dark wolf,
you Nišavian father, guard of mountains,
you're the leader of the nation's sword,
and defender of your people.

The Civil War

Brief overview of factions
CRUST (Communo-Republican United Sludderland Territories)
Head of faction: Premier Soheil Najafisson
A group of militant Marxist-Leninists, lead by Soheil Najafisson. Though originally a peaceful group that attempted to win the Sludderland election, the previous leader was killed by Soheil, who had been rapidly rising through the ranks due to his charisma and band of loyal supporters. Under Soheil, CRUST gained more and more members, however (despite the group's stated goal and ideology) most were violent thugs or even fascists who joined in the novel ideal of gaining power after their victory.
Soheil himself is an outspoken Marxist-Leninist in public, saying all the right things and catchphrases. However, privately, he and his inner circle are nothing more than opportunists. He himself has never read a word of marxist, stalinist or any other vaguely left-wing writings. Several of his inner circle are more happy with books from the other extreme of the spectrum, such as writings by Benito Mussolini.

Government
Head of faction: President Ali Baghersson
The official and legal government of Sludderland, the nation is lead by President Ali Baghersson, voted into power upon the early death of his predecessor. Under his reign the slave revolt blossomed and took hold, and now it is up to him to put it down, as well as the communists. Assisting him is Chancellor Arash Narasson, his faithful and loyal friend.

SLAM (Slave Liberation Army of Midarayne)
Head of faction: Provisional General Secretary Muhammad Ali
The slave revolt was a success. Armed with weapons, supported with vehicles and assisted with intel (all supplied by many of the group's backers) the slaves that rose up in the revolt headed towards the meeting place. Though many were stopped, killed or imprisoned, a large amount arrived in the East. There, their backers joined them, groups such as the Ragnarssons; the Quidists; and the Axids to name a few. The former-slaves were organised based off their skills and place of residency. Soon, the SLAM had captured dozens more cities, and were pushing further west.

History WIP

818- Jarl Thorstein “the c*nt” Ragnhildsson land with 600 men on the coast of Midarayne. There, they loot and pillage the local settlements, before they return back to their ships. They discover with shock that their ships have mysteriously disappeared overnight, and eventually begin to create a permanent norse settlement there.

820- The Jarldom of Sludderland is firmly established, local tribes are brought under control.

820-1066- The invaders begin to gradually assimilate into the culture they find themselves in, whilst their serfs begin to adapt to their new overlords. The language of the invaders begins to fade and be replaced by the local language, yet place names still retain their names. The birth of the hybrid culture becomes complete around 1066.

1086-1131- Ragnar “the Sword of Allah” Vidarsson launches a brutal campaign against neighbouring tribes, greatly expanding the Jarldom’s power of influence. Part way through the campaign, he is successfully converted to Islam by a man recorded as Mohammed Alladdin, His new faith prove deeply unpopular with his vassals, and many attempted to assassinate him. Despite this, he survived dozens of attempts on his life and forged Islam into the hearts of many of his vassals and family members. He was eventually cut down on a chaotic battlefield.

1190- Mohammed Ragnarsson dies of his old age. Never producing any male heirs, his death brings the ruling dynasty of Sludderland to an end, and a brutal civil war erupts. Emerging triumphant at the end of it is X, a manist. Forcing most of the nation to convert at the point of the sword. This marked the beginning of Manist rule in Sludderland.

1891- A rebellion of the gentry leads to the creation of a constitutional monarchy

1901- The monarchy collapsed after the royal family perished from a short lived smallpox epidemic. A formalised democracy is created, however only dedicated manists can be potentially elected.

2021- A slave uprising results in a civil war as they begin to get backed by the many muslims of the nation opposed to manism. The war is further added to, as the command of the United Communist Sludderland Liberation Army (UCSLA) is usurped by Soheil Najafisson from Mahdi Farzinsson, moving from its attempt to gain power through the democratic process and instead move to attempting to win the civil war.
