Nagatsuichi FOURWHEEL 2017

Quick OOC explanation: Nagatsuichi FOURWHEEL is the long-awaited return of a prominent car show and festival in the 2000s in Himeyama. Most characters are welcome to show up and partake in the city-wide festival which includes car auctions, showcases, drag races, drifting competitions, etc etc. If you want to have one of your manufacturers show up, feel free to; just know that Nagatsuichi is a small city in the middle of the Tsuyariko mountains so bringing a whole showroom with you probably isn't the best idea. Also keep in mind that FOURWHEEL is meant to be a more laid-back, casual RP. I don't expect the formalities of a state visit, and I certainly don't expect anyone to force themselves to post here consistently, so try not to worry about it.


Under the dim morning sun, Ryo Yokazura followed a stream of bright coloured sports cars through the narrow mountain roads of Tsuyariko province, her heavily modified Lan Evo roared and popped like a chained beast as it patiently followed the morning sun to Nagatsuichi. With dozens of supercars in every which direction, it was extremely tempting to just slam the clutch and pull into 3rd gear, see who could catch her, but with even the Nagatsuichi Police Service showing parading their cars on the way to the city, there was hardly a chance of getting very far without spending most of the day at the police station; so she decided against it. As a Formula Mundus driver, there was little doubt people would recognize her as she enjoyed the festivities of FOURWHEEL's glorious return; though she hoped she could at least get a look at Premier Musashi's GALAXIS Custom LGI-85 Brightlance before getting mobbed by media or enthusiastic fans; that and what was hopefully going to be Serenity Azurewind of Achkaerin's massive car collection.

Through one deafeningly loud tunnel and she was in Nagatsuichi, large screens and holographic displays covered buildings as far as she could see, stages and illuminated road signs where the buildings weren't. How nostalgic it felt to her, being able to experience FOURWHEEL again as an adult; the thing that drove her to become a race driver as a teenager. Quickly finding a spot to park off to the side of the main road, Ryo managed to find the center stage where the start of FOURWHEEL would be announced from; "Any minute now." she thought.

While everyone else might have been here showing off their latest sports cars Sir Alan Maybury was here for a whole different reason and that was publicity. In his eyes there was nothing wrong with getting the companies name out there even more than it had been, after all you never knew what the future would hold. "Hey be careful with thank" the familiar voice of Danny Jules the  driver of EMAC's famous SSC Honeybadger. The team were unloading it and the simulator tht Danny had practiced on and despite the light materials and the fact that in all liklihood the car would never be driven in anger again he was protective of it.

"Set it up over there" SIr Alan pointed to their stand at the motor show. The team quickly set about decorating their stand, a range of SSC Honeybadger merchandise laid out on various tables. Danny couldn't resist having another sit in the cockpit and felt rather sad that the machine of his dreams was now just a museum piece.

[Achkaerin]

Two trucks, two motor homes well technically speaking RV's and well another truck referred to as the maintenance vehicle were rolling towards Nagatsuichi, these were all driven by members of the Royal Household Staff, out ahead of this part of the convoy were the cars, all from the collection of the Crown Princess and there were more delicate ones being transported in the trucks. The lead car was an FFX-K Evo, driven naturally by Serenity Azurewind herself, this being the pride and joy of her collection. It was a weird feeling she could remember watching the last FOURWHEEL on television, it was probably why she was such a petrol head now.

She glanced in the rear view mirror and saw the next car in the group an LFA driven by her cousin Sakura, then came the GTR that her other cousin Cerys was driving, the Royal Mechanic Vicky Atkinson was driving an Atom 500, then there was Serenity's sister in Law (not to mention probably her best friend) Lydia driving an Aero followed by Yuki Tyler in a Huayra and Sakura's girlfriend Becky in a 911.

Serenity had to smile as the convoy headed towards Nagatsuichi when she'd got the call asking her to show up with some of her collection she hadn't quite believed it, she glanced up as a Veneno came up alongside her, she picked up the radio that was sat in the cup holder in her car.
"You're cutting this a little fine Hannah." Serenity said
"Sorry but thanks for leaving the car at the airport." came the reply from Hannah Nikaido
"No problem." Serenity said

They hit the tunnel with their windows down and engines roaring the result was quite an evocative sound but even that didn't seem to disturb the sleeping passenger in Serenity's car - her eldest daughter Lisa was curled up sleeping in the passenger seat, it had been an overnight flight down from Achkaerin, Hannah had come across from Gowu as she'd been giving an Air Force training lecture there. This was certainly a case of "Here come the girls."

"Wake up sleepy head." Serenity said nudging Lisa as the convoy found the spot set aside for them not that they could miss the cordoned off section with a sign saying Reserved for HIM Serenity Azurewind, they were early enough to avoid major numbers crowd wise but that would undoubtedly change as the day went on. Lisa stirred as they parked, Carth Vittori appeared at the window of her car
"Embassy booked hotel rooms for Household staff." Carth said
"Good." Serenity said smiling "Who's here?"
"A few show off's and EMAC." Carth said "Think I saw Ryo Yokazura from Formula Mundus around a minute ago."
"Seen Joey Hawkes yet?" Serenity asked
"Oh yeah he's here." Carth said "Already talking to various internet bloggers and people about how he's going to smoke you."
"I bet." Serenity said

Serenity got out of her car and soon realized why the crowd mobbing hadn't started in earnest yet, everyone was heading for the central stage for the official opening, the Achkaerinese group had ended up positioned near the finish line of the drag strip close to the stage
"So opening and then fun?" Cerys asked
"Probably." Serenity said
"You go ahead I'll get this set up." Vicky said

Frederick and Williamson Holstein were the names of two Foxtrovians visiting Nagatsuichi for the car showing. The car they were driving was a modified Lancer Evolution 7 they had received as gifts from another minor lord. The car, had to say a few custom paint jobs before it ended up in their hands. As such, it looked like something a person who had no social life would own, which was rather fitting for the pair of siblings. As most of their time living at home was spent playing foreign games on their computers rather than anything. But here they decided to show off what they had.

"How do you think the locals will like it?", Williamson asked his younger brother who was in passenger seat. Frederick thought for some time before responding, "Dunno. How will they react to people taller than five four?" Williamson and his brother had a slight laugh before reaching their destination. "Welp, time to see the lesser cars."

The world renowned drifter ZiZi Nougast Shows up at the event with his 2006 subaru impreza (his drift car) everyone is surprised  because the world presumed him dead after a horrfic crash back in 2010.

Mbc (Muneski broadcasting channel) news reported "A Big shock here today at Nagatsuichi FOURWHEEL 2017 as ZiZi Nougast returns from what looks like a 2017 miracle." " After being presumed dead a while ago he seems to have returned (but in crash video here) For the show,"

He throws out all kinds of thing including merch.

He shows off his new drift car by doing the best reverse entry as the show doing a whole 360! After this he heads back off into the sunset to possibly be seen again one day.
