Folkets Forsamling
There are 120 seats in the Folkets Forsamling. Every citizen votes for a party, and seats are distributed amongst the parties based on total percentage of votes.
The duty of the Folkets Forsamling is to vote on Bills (changes to policy) and Acts (international actions). Bills and Acts can be put forward by any member of the Folkets Forsamling.
Parties
There are currently five separate parties in the Folkets Forsamling.
Marxist-Marcussism Parti (67)
Pre-occupied with maintaining the Marxist-Marcussist status quo.
Danish Socialist Parti (34)
Wants to switch to a worker based economy, instead of the current state based one.
Populistisk Parti (12)
Variety of populist ideas
Grønt Parti (4)
Want to increase the enviromental safeguards already in place
Albion Union Parti (3)
Want to take an aggressive stance on spreading the FOA's influence to the rest of Albion
Folkets Præsident
In order to pick a Folkets Præsident, members of the Folkets Forsamling will elect an individual from amongst their midst. The member who receives the most votes become the Folkets Præsident.
The Folkets Præsident will then nominate members of the Folkets Forsamling to cabinet positions, that the Folkets Forsamling will then confirm with a vote.
The Folkets Præsident oversees the Folkets Forsamling, represents the nation on the world stage, and casts the final vote in case an Act or Bill results in a draw.
The current Folkets Præsident is Rolf Høgh, of the Marxist-Marcussism Parti.
