An Emergency Meeting

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY MESSAGE FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT OF NEW DERUSMIA.

To all nations of Mundus.

Earlier this day, you may or may not have heard of the incident in that capital city. For those who haven't, allow me to explain.

At around 5 AM this morning, an bomb on an aircraft parked at Metria Airport went off. The resulting explosion killed all onboard and about 280 more in the terminal. The full MTSA report can be seen here.

The following information is classified. Do not share the following contents with the public.

Nobody knows who is responsible. Their motive is unknown, and this threat could come from anywhere on Mundus. This is why I request that the world's greatest intelligence agencies to come together and prevent incidents like these ever happening again. Tomorrow, the IAND will launch a large investigation - the largest investigation to ever take place on Mundus, and we hope that your intelligence agencies can aid us in this investigation.

The capital city is currently in lockdown, so you'll be arriving at NDAF Erejen with maximum security. On your way to Erejen NDAF airport, your aircraft will be escorted by NDAF fighter jets as you enter Derusmian airspace. After arrival, a military escort will guide you from the base to IAND Erejen HQ.

Extensive security has ensured no incidents onboard aircraft departing east Moreland. I would therefore like to send one of our EMIS agents, Grace Yacobs, to meet with you .

We would first like to offer our sincere condolences for what has transpired in your country; This is an ongoing situation that I and my government are monitoring closely, the fact that this took place in our beloved continent of Ardia is truly concerning enough. These cowardly acts are unacceptable and wont be tolerated. We would therefore send one of our most competent SISSB agents to aid in your investigation and cooperating with other, likeminded countries in the aim of combatting terrorism and making sure this never occurs again.

The black limousine that the president was riding looked like any other, except for the fact it was surrounded by army vehicles, of course. At times like these, extra security was always required. However, little did the public know, the presidential limousine didn't even need a military blockade. The car had a multitude of security features that would prevent attacks on the president's life. Eventually, this limousine, along with it's surrounding military vehicles, came to a halt in front of a large runway, where his guests would land.

First of all, I shall offer my condolences to the families of the victims of the attacks. As a neighbor of your nation, a terrorist attack is a threat not just for your country, but for ours as well. An attack on an airport is something more alarming than any targets, as it would leave any other airports vulnerable. Therefore, I myself am going to this meeting to help secure both our countries from these kinds of threats and bring the attacker/s to justice.

Grace had a desk full of memos thanks to this Rokkenjiman leak however she was only too pleased to put them to one side and get out the office, she much preferred people to paper. She had made her way to Northfort's King Robert International Airport before boarding EMIS' private plane and heading to Erejen NDAF airport. She had a rye smile on her face about the brag of the largest investigation in the history of Mundus, little did the hosts know about the investigation into the Freestone Missile Attack of 2014. An investigation that had seen suspects from five different nations, an airborne landing to secure evidence in a warzone and had taken probably millions of hours of manpower from four of the largest intelligence agencies in Mundus. Still she'd let them think whatever they wanted.

Her aircraft touched down and she gathered her belongings, as East Moreland had little diplomatic history with the hosts she'd been told about the need for formalities to be adehered to and so before leaving the aircraft she picked up her narrow rapier sword, a mark of honour in East Moreland society, and strapped it around her thin waist. She picked up her briefcase and headed down to meet the hosts.

"Mr.President" she said approaching with her right hand outstretched. "Major Grace Yacobs of the East Moreland Intelligence Service" it was rare they used ranks, in fact it had been so long since she'd used hers she wasn't even sure whether she'd made Major yet, usually when they arrived they used whatever rank they felt best fitted the situation. "His Majesty King David sends his condolences and hopes that we can help you discover what happened and more importantly make sure it never happens again." She tapped her briefcase, "I have with me the details of the East Moreland airport security system, its considered the most secure on Mundus by many and should you be interested I'd like to take you through it when we have the time. King David is willing to help you establish its protocols here if you think their needed. We're also a nation with a long history of counter-terrorism operations and investigations so whatever help we can give we'd be happy to help with. May I ask if any group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet?"

Every once in a while Rion Ayanami was glad to get out of her office, though this wasn't a quick jog or walk along the Artaxian coast it was work in a different way, officially she was in charge of the Counter Terrorism or CT section of Achkaerinese Intelligence, that section was otherwise known as the Justicars, a relatively small group of people that had the job of fighting cell to cell against various terrorist foes and others while using every trick in the book and the odd one that they invented on the fly. Still at least she wasn't presently trying to put herself inside the mind of one of the thirty people she was chasing down, those were never really pleasant places to be.

Accompanying Rion was the day to day commander of the Military Defence Initiative Kara Thornton, the pair had spent most of the flight down from Achkaerin going through a few work files, Kara had been on the phone to her second in command at least four times talking about the Rokkenjima leak.

With their plane gently touching down, the two Achkaerinese women grabbed their jackets and shoulder bags. Making their way towards the welcoming committee they weren't particularly surprised to see East Moreland there for two reasons, first East Moreland had a lot of experience dealing with terrorists and terrorist incidents, second they had a reputation for turning up first to things.

Tobias Reaper or simply known as 'Agent 47' found it quite peculiar that Krimeon's premier Domestic and Foreign Intelligence Service, 'Strategic Intelligence & Security Service Bureau' (SISSB), decided that out of all agents they had to simply send him on such an assignment when it clearly wasn't suitable to him, at least from his Point of view. In most normal cases, Reaper preferred to keep his mouth shut and execute targets in the most creative ways possible, but this? Whatever reason they could've possibly thought of, he had to now put pressure on himself to make squeals and there to not look completely out of place.

The SISSB plane escorting him to the airport wasn't however planned to make a traditional landing, instead his entrance would be more of the 'fun and exciting' part, namely to parachute from the aircraft itself which would indeed save some time as well as making another kind of impression. Bringing along his suitcase, the last thing on Reaper's mind before diving out of the aircraft was to not disappoint Her Serene Highness, the Agency and certainly the nation; this tragedy wasn't to be replicated in Krimeon, of course.

Waiting for the right moment, 47 opened the chute as he began to gracefully glide down from the skies and slowly but surely land almost in front of the President and the other foreign agents. "Yacobs...Ayanami...Thornton..." he nodded, before diverting his attention to the host, "Ah, President Feish; Tobias Reaper or simply Agent 47 of the Strategic Intelligence & Security Service Bureau. Her Serene Highness, Princess Elizabeth sends her regards." shaking hands with the President at the same time.

Alexandro Roxas is the cousin of former president Benigno Roxas, who was the leader of the Quintelian Republic when the Wewazkang tribe organized a mutiny. Alexandro sided with King Lapu, who made him command on the battle of Fort Bonifacio, which was a financial center. Eventually, Benigno was defeated, captured, and executed, leading to the usurpation of King Lapu. Alexandro Roxas was then appointed to be the Chief of National Intelligence Agency of Quintelia. Since then, he has led operations against communist insurgents, tribal insurgents, and other domestic cases. However, this might be his first time doing something abroad.

His flight from Lungsod was less than an hour, considering the short distance, however the landing was delayed by a bit by the Krimeon daredevil. He stepped off the plane like a normal human and approached the President first. "We give our utmost condolences to your people." Alejandro said before turning to the ither foreign intelligence officers and giving a nod to them as a sign of respect.

Ebston spoke with a serious voice, saying every word carefully. "I'd like to thank you for coming here on short notice. As for all your questions, I will answer them when we arrive at Erejen." He paused and gestured towards the convoy of limousines and armed military vehicles. "Come, now. We will be travelling separately."

The IAND Erejen Headquarters was a large, postmodern building built around 1996. It seemed like anybody could just walk in, take the nation's most classified files, and leave. That was not the case. On the surface was the office section of the building. However, deep underground was a maze of tunnels leading to databases, a multitude of super computers, classified documents, and a self sufficient shelter, where the meeting would happen.

Ebston stepped out of the car, and waited for everyone to arrive.

Grace was the first to arrive at the venue, exited her car and made her way over to Ebston. "I think an idea might be to start with you telling us exactly what you know about these incidents. I can then put you in touch with our airport security units and they can advise about their methods."

Tobias arrived as well right after at the venue, coming in second place, and placed himself between the President and his Morelander colleague, politely waiting until the others arrived and Ebstein giving more details as to what has already been uncovered in regards to the case itself.
