Cpt. Valenze
After the biggest part of the Vaguzian Marines and Commandos had arrived in Gowu, Valenze and his group of 30 men had to clear the way for the marines. They were walking through the rough jungles and mountains of Phuebra  in around 35 degrees. Valenze and his men were aiming their guns around them, looking for enemies. It was quiet, too quiet for Valenze's likings, so he knew he had to watch out, 5 minutes they officialy passed the border and they were in Phuebra. While they were walking upwards a hill, a unknown enemy started shooting on Valenze and his men "Get to cover, now, we are being shot from the top of the hill" Valenze yelled while finding cover behind a tree. Valenze leaned against the tree and waited for a break between the shooting, when it finally came, he turned to the left and looked for enemies, he saw one guy with a machine gun and shot him down.

There were still around 10 guys left but they now had been spotted by the Vaguzian soldiers so it was harder for them to defend, but they still had the higher ground. Pvt. Qunenio shot down 2 guys and got back to cover while a few Vaguzian marines threw grenades to the Muslim rebels, the grenades killed 6 guys, only 4 were left. The Vaguzian marines were now moving forward and shooting the muslim rebels and it take long before all rebels were killed. Now the group of marines could walk over the hill and they now had a good view of the land around them "Well it is hard fighting in areas like this they can hide everywhere and the mountains dont make things easier." Sgt. Theorini said. "You are right about that, i think it is time for the other guys to come now." Valenze replied.

Major Chak Amara

Chak Amara was a Major in the Free Phuebran Army, he had the lead over around 120 men and he had been liberating Coastal Phuebran places together with around 5,000 other men of the Free Phuebran Army. They were now preparing a attack on Seriville, a very important city because it was holy for the buddhists. The FPA had surrounded the city and now went into the city, but as soon they got into the city they were shot by snipers.

"Shit, sniper, get to cover and look for the sniper!!" Amara yelled to his men, he already had spotted one sniper and shot him down before he went to cover. While some FPAs were shooting back, a lot got shot down, Amara realised this was going to be a long and hard battle

Sister Laura Burke - “GO!", yelled Sister Laura signalling the start of Blind Dodgeball, which was actually one of her favorite childhood games as a kid when she played it with her congregation friends against the parish priests and nuns, "oh how times flies hehe", she thought for herself, seeing the Phuebran kids at least having fun and regaining back some of their childhood which would have otherwise been completely destroyed if it weren't for the massive aid the war-thorn country received from numerous organisation, including the Association of the Immaculate, which was among the largest in Mundus and the one Sister Laura was part of. This was what she'd always wanted to do, a great way to travel as well, sure it may not be glitzy and nice compared to more organised tourism but she was a nun, serving God and being the bride of Jesus Christ, which meant that everything isn't meant to be full of pleasures and other ideas of guilt, it was about giving and spreading God's Mercy, Compassion, Love...and the occasional Salvation if the persons requested it naturally. Sister Laura arrived in Phuebra a few days ago along with 1000s of her fellow sisters in faith; they had to move between each village and diverse shelters to provide equal care for everyone still alive in this forsaken place, ravaged death and destruction everywhere you turned your gaze at. The Vaguziase marines and Free Phuebran Army cleared the way for these brave nuns who risk their lives venturing over there and provide everything they could possibly muster.

After a few hours of this fun game, the many kids decided to take a rest while the nuns served them tasty snacks and ice-cold drinks. Sister laura asked the kids if the game was fun, which they replied was of course they enjoyed it, and asked if there are more games to play? "Yes absolutely my darlings, but I think your parents would like to see you for now...". The kids protested and wanted to continue, but Sister Laura assured them that they would continue some other day and preached about the importance of the strong bond a family needs to have between it's members and such.

"Oh Lord, what more have you planned?" she asked, looking up at the clear blue sky...

Phleungbamphlu Temple had something of an upbeat vibe to it, the progress made now that the Vaguzian troops had arrived in number to bolster the Achkaerinese effort had led to significant gains but Rion Ayanami was uneasy and not without reason, a combined strike on a drugs stash had just yielded something disturbing, a bomb was in the capital, planted by a group called Twilight, and it was set to go off in three days. On paper it sounded like a nice scenario after all they had three whole days to get into Khyat, find the bomb and then disarm it - one problem there was the army loyal to the forces holding Khyat in the way. Added to which somewhere in the mountains in the west of the country someone was firing missiles out at the rest of Mundus. And now they had troops on babysitting detail for nuns.

"Problem?" someone asked, Rion glanced up and saw it was Alexandria Savage, otherwise known as Alex, the pair had an interesting history having been on opposite sides in the War of the Enlightenment, having fought hand to hand in that war, Rion had won but hadn't killed Alex no she'd done better she'd redeemed the one time terrorist, with a little help from the Emperor of Achkaerin as well.

"Two problems and not enough time to deal with both one after the other." Rion said, normally she would have liked to have been able to focus on the bomb first and then concentrate on the missile issue, but with not knowing when the next missile was going to be set off she couldn't take that chance "We can't take Khyat in three days, at least not completely and that's supposing we can even get there."
"We don't need to take the city we just need to be able to search it." Alex said
"Still means breaking the Loyalist line." Rion said "And it will have to be Vaguzia that mounts that assault."
"So we mount that assault and use it to try and get some units through their line?" Alex asked
"Only way we get people to Khyat in time and they'll have to fight there in all likelihood," Rion said "So we send our guerrilla warfare specialists. And meanwhile we'll let the Achkaerin Air Force blow wherever those missile are coming from to oblivion."

Major Chak Amara
Amara and his team of 10 men we hiding behind behind a truck and looking for the sniper that had been shooting them "Okay i see 3 possible places where the sniper could be, the tower at 2 o'clock 100 metres away, the hotel at 12 o'clock 150metres away or the tower at 10 o'clock 70 metres away from us, only way we can find out his exact position is make him shoot another time so i am putting my helmet on my gun and make it look like a person." Chak said. When Chak had putted his helmet on his gun he moved his gun slowly to the left side of the truck, the sniper reacted quickly and shot towards the helmet. "Okay, i saw him shooting from the tower at 2 o'clock, we gotta take him out!"

Amara and his men moved away from the truck and all started shooting at the sniper, it didnt take long before they had taken out the sniper, they made a sign to the armored car behind them, they now ran behind the armored car deeper into the city after around 500 metres a group of islamic militants started shooting at Amara and his men, but Amara and his men had found good cover behind the armored car and they managed to shoot the islamic rebels down.

Cpt. Johann di Tonio
Shortly after the Free Phuebran Army started their attack on Seriville, pilots of the VRA were getting ready to give airsupport, Cpt. Johann di Tonio had to lead 8 Quentino-19s * in a mission to bomb muslim rebels. Johann and his men took off from Gowu and headed to Seriville.

After around 1 hour they arrived at Seriville "Okay guys remember, a lot of people flew away here, but there are still a lot of innocent civilians in this city, so we will only bomb the places were we are sure there are muslim rebels." The Vaguzian jets now started flying low above the city and one of the jets fired a missile at a building where around 20 muslim rebels were shooting at the Free Phuebran Army, no muslim rebel survived. Now Johann turned left to a hotel were muslim rebels were firing with RPGs, he waited 4 seconds waited till he locked the target perfectly and fired, a perfect shot. "Okay guys , we are done here lets go."

The Ecclesiastical State

To the most respectable and honorable defense ministries and joint-armed forces commands of Achkaerin, Vaguzia and Free Phuebra,

I Graziano Merullo, Under-Secretary of National Defence, and Marshal Heiner Schönbaum, Chief-of-Staff of the Supreme Command of the Ecclesiastical Army of Christ, wish to inform the allied, involved parties that his holiness Pope Peter II will officially begin the armed operations of the Ecclesiastical State in the Phuebran Civil War and will thus announce this to the public in a very near future. However we as yourselves felt that courtesy and transparency is of high importance these days, hence why we send this message of sincerity and trust, as well as the fact that the Ecclesiastical State needs more diplomatic and security consultancy prior to sending the "entire cavalry force" as we'd like to put it; in other words, a meeting between us and our equivalents...it's high time to once and for all end this extremist madness going on in there, with endless destructiona and loss of life, especially those of religious minorities such as the Phuebran Christians. Schönbaum and I on behalf of his holiness are looking forward to this very much.

Thank you, Take Care and God Bless,

Graziano Merullo, Under-Secretary of National Defence
Marshal Heiner Schönbaum, Chief-of-Staff of the Supreme Command

It was rapidly becoming part of the morning routine for Rhyth, get up, go to the command post look at maps, probe for a weakness and apply the pressure to the Loyalist Phuebran forces, this had become a war of attrition something they hadn't expected, the Loyalist Phuebran's were holding solid ground around Khyat and were likely unaware of the bomb that was set in their capital, it was also likely that they wouldn't believe the coalition if they told them about the bomb, more than likely they'd think it was a threat. So there was only one option - somehow get troops into Khyat and find and diffuse that bomb before it went off. The good news was that thanks to having uncovered details of the plot they knew what the device was and had a rough area of where it was, it was better searching an area of three miles square rather than the entire city.

It was a little weird for Rhyth, this was a joint operation between Achkaerin and Vaguzia, overall control was with the Vaguzian's but on the ground she held the command position.
"Any progress?" she asked stepping into the command tent
"Yes ma'am." the new intelligence liaison said "We've identified where the missiles have been fired from."
"How many more have they fired since the first one was reported?" Rhyth asked
"Six ma'am." the liaison said "All shot down over the Kyne."
"And?" Rhyth asked
"And the Air Force are coming up with a plan to hit the place. It's pretty well sheltered in the mountains." the liaison said
"Ok we'll leave that with them." Rhyth said "What about the bomb issue?"
"Nothing yet." the liaison said
"That bomb's going off in twenty six hours if Twilight are to be believed." Rhyth said "Find a way into that city."
"There are plenty of ways in - the issue is that if we have to engage the Loyalist Phuebran's who are between us and Khyat then we won't make it."

"Then we go where there's no cover." Rhyth said "Into their harbour."
"There's no way that's not covered." the liaison said
"I know." Rhyth said "But given that it's our only option it's what we have to do." the one advantage was that the Phuebran Navy was docked to the south west, well away from Khyat so that was one less thing to worry about "They go in under cover of darkness and we kill two birds with one stone."
"Ma'am?" the liaison said
"Stop the bomb and while we're at it we'll put an end to this madness." Rhyth said "We'll still have to combat the remaining insurgent militia's but we'll have it far easier if we're not facing a professional opposition. Time to take the high ground."

Over in the mess tent there was an ad hoc strategy session of the senior Air Force pilots going on - Group Commander Alex Holden sat with Squadron Commander Tommy Frost opposite Squadron Commander Lily Murray and Captain Lucy Sherwood, on the table they had a topographical map of the mountain area where missiles had been fired from.
"Well at least we know who by." Alex said "The Phuebran Air Force."
"They've got airfields north and south, the place is bristling with SAM sites." Tommy said
"We didn't see much of their Air Force when we started all this, now we know why." Lucy said "They were hiding."
"Who has hanger's built into mountains?" Tommy asked
"And that's only one of our problems." Lily said
"You said it." Alex said "The launch site is coming from the middle of that mountain range. Getting to it is going to be a nightmare."
"Normally I'd say drop a Heaven's Morningstar on it and have done." Lucy said "But all that SAM cover would make a Nightingale a sitting duck."
"It'll make our lives up top difficult to." James said "And even that doesn't guarantee a shot at the target."
"Then how about this?" Lily asked, she sketched something out on the map using the pencil as lightly as she could "Make them work for us."
"Let's do it." Alex said

Iv Sorya (Leader of the FPA)
After a short but hard fight the FPA had managed to take over Seriville and for now it was the best place for the meeting between the different armed forces in Phuebra. Iv Sorya sat in a improvised armored car and was being escorted to the city hall were the meeting would be. "Nhek, what do you think we can get out of this meeting." he said to his advisor Nhek Poeu. "Well it seems like ES is being prepared to help us with the last stages of this and i think we also might can give our proposal." Nhek replied. "Yes perhaps, it would be a lot easier for us too if ES started helping us" Iv said.

A few minutes after their conversation they arrived at the city hall. And again Iv was being escorted by FPA soldiers into the city hall.

Major. Fabiane Segalla
Fabiane was representing the Vaguzian armed forces but would first go to the airport where the ES representives would land, and Segalla would escort them with his men. When driving through the city, Segalla could see the amount of damage the civil war did to the city, about every building he saw was in ruins, and there were still here and there some fires going on. But even tho how much the city was damaged, it was also the the start of something new, a new fresh Phuebra, you could see people were slowly going back to their normal lifes.

Segalla finally arrived at the airpot and he butted his black beret on. "So lets go meet these people."

Onboard the Ecclesiastical aircraft were some of the high command of the security branches and their respective staff including Cardinal Étienne Chaufourier, General-Superior of the Blessed Office of the Sacred Inquisition, Marshal Heiner Schönbaum, Chief-of-Staff of the Supreme Command and Graziano Merullo, Under-Secretary of National Defence. For months the Ecclesiastical State merely provided aid in terms of nuns doing their charity work and accepting the stream of refugees, especially those who pertained to the Christian faith; it was only now that his holiness Pope Peter II realised that the coalition forces needed that extra push to once and for all eradictate the Islamic terrorists. It was with the hope and intent of this meeting that the Ecclesiastical State could receive some valuable intel and what type of support was needed; The Ecclesiastical Army of Christ was one of the largest and most well-equipped as well as featuring the dreaded Gaurdians of St. Paul, undertaking a number of roles including covert reconnaissance, counter-terrorism, direct action and hostage rescue. Although formally not part of the Armed Forces, the Blessed Office of the Sacred Inquisition is the primary Internal/External Intelligence Service and Secret Police of ES, increasingly expanded its role, including covert paramilitary operations.

The three men exited the aircraft with their briefcases in hand as they were received by Major Segalla and his men waiting to be escorted to their destination where the talks were to be held. However besides each respective department's staff who came along, also did their body guards of the Guardians of St. Paul providing military overt protection, most commonly seen when VIPs visit war zones, the overt profile sees the CP members putting on a show of strength. The bodyguards take on a distinctively military aspect. Body armour is worn over the clothing of both the CP unit and the VIP and weapons (smgs and carbines) are carried in plain sight. The three men shook hands with the major, thanking him for his welcome.

"If you may Major, please lead the way, we have a few things we need to discuss about..." the Cardinal replied.

At the temple the Achkaerinese pilots sat in their briefing as Group Commander Alex Holden gave the briefing.
"The target is a missile launching base of operations, it's located in the middle of a cluster of mountains so its well defended geographically but the place is also according to recon bristling with Anti Air fire and houses two airfields used by we believe by the Phuebran Air Force. It should be apparent to everyone present that allowing a faction within this nation to start firing short range missiles is not a good thing. Wyvern's and Harpy's will approach from high, you'll use Charybdis missiles to target and attack the Anti Air sites and airfields from a distance, with luck this takes a fair number of them out, then we go in high and draw the remaining enemy jets into a fight in the sky. Meanwhile the Bat's will use this assault as a diversion to make the attack run at low altitude, there's a canyon that runs through the mountain range it twists and turns but there's a twenty five kilometre straight section of the canyon that runs to the target site, once the Bat's come out of this corner here." Alex tapped the map at a point designated 'Delta' "You arm, lock and fire Trinity missiles. We're not dealing with silo's so Trinity's should be enough to get the job done. If this doesn't work we'll be calling in requesting a Heaven's Hammer strike and that's not something particularly appetizing. May the Brave be with us and good hunting."

In Seriville Rhyth had arrived, she'd brought a squad of Achkaerinese soldiers with her for security reasons obviously. She placed her hands on her hips as through her sunglasses she took the scene in the streets in, it was good they were pushing the remains of the 'Phuebran Governments' forces back but this was still only the early stages and in relative terms the easy part, the hard part would be in fighting the various insurgent militia groups that were out there. It wasn't going to be easy but war had never been an easy business to be involved in, it was messy and it involved things that no one liked doing, this was why Rhyth personally disliked an awful lot of war films because they made it look so glamorous and heroic, war was never glamorous and was rarely heroic. She sighed, rubbed her brow and went inside the town hall, her eyes immediately on Sorya there were plenty of things she'd like to do, such as slap him for being a complete and outright liar to the media, but morale was important so far better not to.

Major. Fabiane Segalla

Fabiane greeted the ES delegation and quickly walked them into the Vaguzian armed cars. When all ES people were in the car, they drove away to the place they would meet. Segalla was a bit angry at the moment because he had just read an article in which Iv Sorya was speaking absolute crap, but he had to get over that because he was about to meet the the man in person. Luckily for the Vaguzian men, the streets were pretty quiet so there wasnt a lot of danger. After around 10 minutes they arrived at the Cityhall. While his soldiers showed the ES delegation the way out of the car, Fabiane walked towards Rhyth. Fabiane shaked hands and said "Good to see you, so, have you already seen that liar of a man Iv Sorya, i would like a good word with him"

"Don't get me started." Rhyth said "We all know the facts as such we all know he's just talked a whole load of rubbish to the Press but for the moment there's no real harm in letting him play to the gallery, the usurping Government will with a bit of luck fall within the next twenty four hours. After that we have one problem which is the insurgent militia's cropping up through the rest of the country." she looked towards Sorya she wasn't impressed with him, but it was time to put an end to the matter, she glanced at the uniforms of the people with the Vaguzian officer Ecclesiastical State she thought, well that was certainly interesting. So it was time to talk.

In the skies above Phuebra the Achkaerinese Air Force was about to launch into its assault, they knew their jobs hit from distance and play bait, it had been many years since something like this had gone down under the Achkaerin Air Force's purview and that was going back to the Great War. In his Wyvern, Alex Holden the Group Commander and attack leader sat watching his scopes
"All wings set?" Alex asked
"Harpy's set." Lucy answered
"Bat's ready." Lily said
"Execute the attack plan." Alex said "Harpy's on enemy aircraft, Wyvern's will take SAM's and air fields."

The Harpy's dropped lower, in her jet Lucy sat watching and waiting, she saw the Wyvern's launch their missiles that was the salvo intended to take out the airfields and strike initial damage to the SAM sites. With luck the missiles would go someway to evening up the odds, she saw the tell tale signs of enemy aircraft climbing up towards them.
"Hekate calling Harpy's." Lucy said over her radio "Accelerate and engage."

As battle was joined up top the real plan was unfolding down below as Lily led eight Bat's into the attack run this was what was planned to be the killer move, the Bat's would make use of their low altitude superiority to take out the missile launch site that the Phuebran Air Force were using to fire off missiles while the Wyvern's and Harpy's kept attention off them.
"Keep an eye out." Lily said "Remember things will get dicey if we get spotted too soon." she knew they'd get spotted eventually, the closer they got to the target the more likely that was, still Lily hoped to get a long range lock on the target and let the missiles do the rest.

The Phuebran Army lines were fairly spread out but it was in this instance helpful to the Achkaerinese troops, Lt Colonel Sally Burton had Ruby Troop a safe distance from what appeared to be a Phuebran Army sentry post.
"Nice." Sally said, she also had Sapphire Troop led by Lieutenant Craig Moores, Veridian Troop led by Captain Wes Fletcher, Amber Troop led by Captain Adam Robinson and the Second Chargers led by Major Heather Rose "Heather?"
"Those two APC's they've got parked down there should prove helpful." Heather said "Take the post quietly and those are our tickets into Khyat."
"Much preferable to chancing our arm off the coast." Sally said
"My team will deal with post." Heather said "Don't move till I call in."
"Got it." Sally said

Heather crept her way down from the cover the teams had been using eventually taking cover in the long grass she found herself alongside her second in command Tim Riley
"What have we got?" Heather asked
"Looks like a sniper perch up top, on the deck there's a sandbag perimeter manned by two guards inside that what appears to be a barn with the sniper perch on it, my guess is the troops not on duty are sleeping in there." Tim said "And there's a standing anti personnel mounted weapon within the perimeter."
"Spotted an OP or picket?" Heather asked
"There's a picket about half a mile down the road to the south." Tim said
"How many do you think?" Heather said
"Maybe ten or twelve." Tim said
"Ok then." Heather said, she clicked her radio button "Nathan, Richard you go half a mile south on the road and take out the picket. Luke you come in from the west and take the perimeter guard over that side, Luna from the south scale the barn and take the sniper, myself and Tim will come from the north and take the remaining perimeter guard, close quarters and silenced weapons, we can't give anyone a chance to call in that something's up not with these stakes."

Now the waiting game began as the Chargers went to work, Nathan and Richard were able to deal with the picket guards quickly, the element of surprise worked wonders there. Meanwhile Luna approached the low sandbag wall to the south taking advantage of the barn's walls to cover her approach from one sentry but she would be within the field of vision of the other so she had to bide her time crouched behind the sandbags, her radio clicked twice that was the signal it was clear for her to proceed, she climed over the sandbags and swiftly made her way to the barn's wall she started her climb using the guttering and various holes in the wall to help her on her way. It took her around two minutes but she was now in the blindspot of the two ground level sentry's so she could take her time, she reached the top and drew her dagger, the sniper heard her and turned but Luna was quick, one hand over the snipers mouth to shut him up the other driving the blade into his neck, it was a bit of a wrestle but eventually Luna prevailed, however it had been far messier than she'd hoped.
"Clear." she whispered over the radio

Tim and Heather made their way inside the sandbag perimeter, Tim stood watch on the barn door while she crept up behind one sentry and drew her gladius she struck the sentry once over the head with the pommel and then finished the job with two thrusts of the point of the blade. On the other side of the perimeter the final member of the team Luke was garroting the other patrolling sentry, now he joined Tim and Heather at the barn door, they drew their pistols and screwed on their silencers, this wasn't going to be pretty nor was it going to be honorable but this was war and in war things were done that no one was proud of. The three stepped inside and for the next few minutes they systematically swept the building clearing the barn. Eventually Heather uttered the words.
"Stronghold clear." she said

Now the ASF troops came down to the barn while Richard and Nathan also made their way back from the picket.
"Boss?" Heather asked
"Adam you keep Amber Troop here, you're going to keep things looking like this place is still under their control." Sally said "Check in when they call, keep things nice and simple but if they suss you out be ready for a fight."
"Copy that." Adam said
"As for the rest of us we'll take those two APC's and head into Khyat." Sally said "Craig, Wes, you'll bring your troops with mine and we'll hit our target, Heather you need to find the bomb and disarm it."
"Who rides with who?" Craig asked
"You ride with Heather." Sally said "Wes with me."
"Ok." Wes said
"Get the engines started I want to be out of here in five minutes." Sally said

As the ES Trio were on their way to enter the designated Vaguziase vehicles, Marshal Schönbaum stopped for a second as he noticed someone peculiar, a woman no doubt. "Ah...aren't you the legendary Lieutenant General Ryth 'The Ice Queen' Icerider...such an honor and pleasure to finally meet you in person, glad that your people assigned you to this violatile situation in this forsaken country." he greeted while kissing her hand in the process. Cardinal Charfourier noticed quite the interest his old friend showed towards the Cold War veteran. "Seems our old friend has taken a liking..." he whispered in the Defense Minister's ear before they also shook hands, and thus they were finally off. Once the car accelerated into a decent speed heading into the warthorn city with rubble and filth the eyes and smell could set themselves into, the Trio opened their briefcases and resumed their work, no time in delaying any valuable deed they could properly finish in a few hours of short notice after all there wasn't anything against conducting multitask work while on a formal visitation.

"So his holiness finally...oh yes most definitely finally dragged the Christian War Machine after almost a year of reluctance, how pityful bah, as if nuns could only do the miracle work the Marshal commented in a bitter tone. Before the Cardinal and Defense Minister could respond to such comments, the Marshal made himself quite clear. "Don't take this tone as something of a too much criticism against our Holy Father, on the contrary it's very good. We've spend these past decades billions upon billions of lira on Mundus' most advanced military hardware and tools, from the most simple helmet to the state of the art missile systems, and yet the past Popes haven't decided to use them to the best to their abilities." It might've sounded controversial, although part of being a Christian country is to promote at all costs peace and the means of primarily charity work and what not, the Marshal was right in a way...why spend a ton of cash of equipment if the purpose was only to have it for defensive measures, a waste of resources that could otherwise be spent elsewhere better. Besides at least there's a casus belli behind participating in a high scale military campaign, showing off what the Christian warmachine is made of and finally testing those tools of war destruction of use.

"Well if that's what the dear Marshal thinks so be it, but may I just remind you my old friend that the Inquisition has done most of that work you described 'lacking' within your departments, secret intelligence and insurgency funding is the ultimate way of conducting warfare. " The Cardina's comment somewhat annoyed the Marshal's, the Inquisition again being the main intelligence service and secret police of the Pope's state, infamously known for their secretive operations taking place as well as allegdged use of illicit torture, with or without the Holy Father's consent (in literally alll cases WITHOUT). Oh Graziano Merullo the younger of the Trio and Defense Minister could only sit there and smile in taking part of this little childish circumstance, "What about both the Armed Forces and the Security Services are equal to none and both are valuable to each other,, I'd say we cut this crap talk gentlemen and actually focus on what's most important here, saving as many lives possible from these demonic posessions and establishing a lasting peace whilst advertising the greatness of the Ecclesiastical State, the Chosen Land mark my words, where we are so-called 'The World's Most Moral Army'". With that said silence ensued, waiting for further instructions or perhaps some chitchat from their Vaguziase colleagues who were with them in the car.

"Shall we get on with this?" Rhyth asked looking around the room of Vaguzian's, Free Phuebran and ES officials. She hated being the one to call a meeting to order especially since she hadn't called the meeting but needs must and the quicker the meeting was over and done with the quicker she could be back doing her job. She eyed Sorya carefully it was important that she keep him on a tight leash for now, this was in all likelihood the man who would once this was all wringed out would become the next leader of Phuebra, but that could not happen at the barrel of a gun, no politically speaking there were better ways of handling that element of this, but that was getting ahead of themselves, first priority was deal with the usurpers and that was well in hand.

In the mountains the aerial battle continued to rage, the Achkaerinese did have the upper hand but not by much, the SAM sites were quite the nuisance, most had been hit with missile strikes as the battle started but the MANPADS were another matter. Planes were going down, others were having to withdraw due to damage. But that said it was almost over, two Bat's dove down into the canyon, the lead jet piloted by Squadron Commander Lily Murray, the other by her wingman Flight Leader Arthur Finch callsigns Angel and Predator respectively.

"Raid Lead this is Angel" Lily said over her radio as the Bat's started to navigate the canyon "Starting attack run, estimating point Delta in three minutes at present speed."
"Copy that." came the response over the radio, Lily switched channels
"Angel to Predator" Lily said "Keep an eye on our six, we're getting pretty close to the perimeter if a Phuebran happens to spot us we may have some unexpected guests."
"Copy that." Arthur answered "Two minutes to point Delta."
"Arming Trinity's." Lily said "You?"
"Armed." Arthur said "Dropping altitude."
"Copy that." Lily said

The jets followed the canyon as it wove through the landscape and then eventually became a straight shot towards the target not that Lily and Arthur could see much of what they were aiming at they crossed point Delta and started to line up their shots.
"I have a lock." Arthur said
"So do I." Lily said "Missile's away."
"Firing." Arthur said, the two Bat's fired their Trinity missiles, the explosions of the impacts were visible as the jets closed in
"All callsigns this is Angel" Lily said over the radio "Target destroyed."
"Let's get the heck out of here." came the response to the news.

In Khyat the two appropriated APC's were rolling into the city, they pulled up in a car park that seemed deserted, it was here that the second chargers disembarked, Heather and Sally were holding a quick conversation through an open door on one of the APC's.
"If the bomb's conventional my money says ground level or underground." Heather said "If it's anything else, high up."
"And we don't know which?" Sally asked
"Unfortunately no." Heather said "All the plans said it was a high yield conventional, but we didn't have the drop on that place and when was the last time you heard of plans being left around the place despite having the time and capability to destroy them?"
"Add in the East Moreland incident and someone may have got a little inspired." Sally said "I agree."
"We've got three hours." Heather said "I hope to Namis that we're dealing with the unconventional it'll make this easier to pinpoint."
"Well the plans said it's in this area of the city." Sally said "Of course if we're being misled then it could be somewhere else entirely."
"I'll start hoping otherwise." Heather said

Moments later the two APC's were back on the road leaving Heather and her team making their way down a nearby alley
"Split up and cover ground, liaise with MDI." Heather said "The plans said it was going to be placed within the shopping centre area in the square two blocks west. Find this thing and let's stop it."

Elsewhere in the city Sally and the remaining ASF troops aboard the two APC's were beginning their mission, taking the strategy of being a wolf in sheep's clothing and rolling through the city without having to get into a firefight was either down to an effective disguise or that it was the dead of night.
"Two minutes." the word from the lead driver came over the radio as the vehicles rumbled through the city, Sally sighed getting her breath this was going to be critical.
"By the numbers people and by the book." she said "Once this starts the whole city's going to know something's up." she glanced towards the cab of the vehicle their destination was visible now - the Presidential Palace.

To: King Leonard of Vaguiza, Emperor Peter Azurewind of Achkaerin, and President Iv Sorya of the Free Phuebran

We would like to inform you that we, the Quintelian Army, Navy, and Air Force would like to assist and support you in your endeavors against the militia in Phuebra. We believe that peace should be achieved in Ardia, and this is the first step towards that goal. We would inform you that we're sending 4,000 ground troops with 40 tanks and 10 self-propelled artillery as support. As for the navy that would essentially guard the coasts of the LZ, one helicopter carrier, two destroyers, and five frigates would be deployed. Di take note that deployment of these troops would take 10 days. May God bless you all

Signed,

Minister of Defense Ronald Bato

Iv Sorya was the first one to speak "So thanks all for coming to this meeting, i first of all want to make clear that i do want to lead this country after the war but that i want this to go fully democratic and not by force, so hereby i will promise all of you that i will not be taking power over this country with violence but with honest elections. Us, the Free Phuebran Army would also like to come to an official agreement with the rest of the coalition, we understand that we aren't in the position to make demands so we won't make any and we will see what you demand from us."

After that Major Segalla spoke: "I appreciate that you want to become the leader of this country fully democratic but i hope you understand that in order to make that happen we will first have to get control over the situation.  About a possible agreement: Vaguzia is ready to train FPA soldiers but it would simply be impossible for us to arm you and finance you for of course the obvious politics that comes with it."

Cpt. Valenze and his men had been fighting in Guerilla warfare now for a few days and while the air support of Achkaerin was very helpful, there still was a lot to do. Valenze and his men were now looking for survivors from the air strikes. "Guys, we know that there have to be some muslim rebels, so the question is where they are now." Valenze said as they continued searching. When the Vaguzian Marines were a little more high in the mountain they spotted around 10 men in a small camp, and Valenze gave the order to open fire on the 10 men. The 10 men had absolutely no chance and were all dead within 2 minutes.'

Valenze and his men walked to the camp to search for weapons, narcotics and important documents. Sgt. M'aanda soon found big amounts of Heroin and Cocaine, "We better share this with intel, because this probably just the tip of an iceberg. " he said.

Operation Puerto

3 km from the coast of Baarya, Phuebra; 5/26/18 3:24 pm

"Sir, could we deploy the first thousand troops now? I mean, the other four ships have not yet arrived and we've been firing missiles for two days." Lieutenant Barriga said to Captain Empedrad while they were on the deck. The next barrage of Tomahawk missiles from the nearby QRB Socramwere launched, leaving a trail of thick smoke. The ten missiles launched hit the last few buildings standing near a wharf which would also be the LZ. "Lieutenant, we need five days of pounding them down to mush. This would allow our reinforcements to arrive as well as making the LZ safer." Lieutenant Barriga sighed as to what his captain said, before replying. "With all due respect sir, but wouldn't they also be reinforcing their positions? The earlier we land troops, the earlier we could win this battle." The QRB Dagohoy, where they were, then began gunning down anything moving on the water beat the rubble of the buildings. "With all due respect, though I'd say there's no respect due, two days of bombing is not enough. We've just barely made the perimeter of the LZ safe." The red pool became larger as the machine gun from the ship stopped rolling. Lieutenant Barriga looked unto the smoking horizon, where some missiles hot the day before.

"I'm very sorry sir. I understand what you're saying." He saluted his superior and walked down to the quarters, where 600 troops were. "Captain Empedrad has ordered us to deploy layer at 2200 sharp. Though stealth is needed for this to work and so, we just deploy immediately as to go back immediately." He then went back to the deck and took the captain's walkie talkie, which was left charging. He took it to a secluded area, crushed the antenna and took the batteries before returning it. The Lieutenant then went down to where the 65 APC3 are and said to the drivers the same thing he told the troops, akong with the three helicopter pilots up in the mess hall. An hour goes by, and he then talks to 14 privates privately. "We're the fifteen that's going to board the helicopters that will provide the lone aerial support against those insurgents. Once the perimeter of the LZ has been secured, we will go back to the fleet, but in another ship. I'll do the rest. Understood?" His fellow soldiers nodded and the waiting game finally started.

The Palace, Lungsod City, Quintelia; 5/25/18

"So, we've sent out our first strike, if they're successful on taking that city, we may start deploying more." Ronald Bato reported to King Lapu, who called a private meeting. "I get you, but after that... What's next for us? We're there to flex our military and to be on thebetter side of history, but of course we need to secure something with those Phuebrans. Any ideas?" King Lapu reclined back to his "throne" which was a reclining, rocking leather seat. "You could meet with those in Phuebra to discuss about the future of that shithole." Bato suggested to the King, who scoffed. "I have a better idea. You do the meeting. I can't be bothered going to hell for a few things." Bato sighed and stood. "I'll be writing the letter."

To: Iv Sorya

We have begun our assault on the city of Baarya, which according to the Vaguizan intel, is a stronghold of the insurgents. However, we should always be ready for the future and look ahead. That's why I'm requesting a meeting with you in Phuebra about our future. We'd like to thank for this opportunity in advance. May God bless you all.

Truly Yours,

Minister of Defense Ronald Bato

The sound of the crash was likely not that loud but it sure felt otherwise as the two APC's smashed through the gates of the Presidential Palace, Sally felt the rocking motion but that was really the easy part of this thing, the hard part? Well that was about to begin, the ASF troops knew they'd just likely woken the entire building so they had to work fast, first job get inside, Sally made her way to one side of the door as gunfire rattled out from inside.
"Boss." Craig said "What's the play?"
"Storm the place." Sally said "Craig your team take the entrance, Wes ground floor sweep, I'll take the upper floor."
"Copy that." Craig said, he sucked in a breath and nodded, Sally and her team began giving cover fire as Craig and Sapphire troop made their way into the entrance hall, bullets were flying left and right, the radio call's made it all the more hectic.
"Grenade." Sally said, she threw a grenade in at the grand looking staircase at the far end of the entrance area, this was the dug in enemy position, the explosion seconds later did most of the job.
"This is over give it up!" Craig shouted towards the enemy position, Sally bit her lip it was a tense few seconds until a white hankerchief was waved.
"Secure them." Sally said "Wes ground floor give them a chance to surrender, Ruby troop on me."

Sally led Ruby troop up the stairs to the second floor, now they were inside the playing field was a little more level, gunfire continued to echo through the building to the point where Sally was seriously wondering what the refurbishment cost was going to be once this was all over.
"That's it." Sergeant Reed, Sally's second in command, said "President's office."
"He's got to be in there." Sally said "General Siraaj el-Kamal."
"He's a reasonable man by what the guys we've been fighting with have said." Reed said
"Ok hard and fast, kick the door, take him alive and get him to stand what's left of the Phuebran professional army down." Sally said, the sooner they only had to worry about insurgents the better.

The door didn't put up much of a fight as Reed forced it then came the flashbang from Sally and finally the entry.
"Hands in the air!" was the demanding shout of Sally and Reed as they entered, it was complied with
"We've got the ground floor." Wes's voice came over the com "Stronghold secure for now."
"Hold perimeter and fortify, move the prisoners to a secure room and place them under guard." Sally said "General el-Kamal, I am Lieutenant Colonel Burton on behalf of the coalition forces in this country I offer you the chance to surrender, let's stop the bloodshed."

Baarya, Phuebra; 5/26/18 10:09 pm

Five hundred eighty-five. Five hundred eighty-five men were deployed with the landing crafts, five hundred eighty-five seconds were took for every soldier to be deployed, and five hundred eghty-five m2 was the area of the perimeter secured before they were compromised. With suppressors equipped on the HK416s, they were invisible in the dark of the night, although the moon wasn’t in their side as it was waxing and almost a full moon. Ten minutes pass by and the port was finally clear and they moved on towards the streets. The only light that can be seen were flashes from the insurgents’ guns and the sky. The usual static noise was heard from their radios before Lieutenant Barriga’s voice was heard.

“Ok, all teams listen and standby until instructions are given. Alpha team, lead the way towards the apartment complex at 2 o’clock while Bravo team will secure the surrounding houses. Charlie team will set their positions at the rooftop of the water tower while Delta team will set up another position at the roundabout. Echo team shall remain at the port as to control the UAVs and Foxtrot, that’s us, will fly towards the inner city and bomb some of it while providing support. Understood?”

The leader of the Alpha team, Staff Sergeant Dante, went straight to the apartment complex. He threw in a flash bang at the window on the first floor, and after confirmation of people inside, evident of random firing, a private nearby then threw a frag grenade in, causing an explosion and death of at least six insurgents. The team, consisting of 70 people, climbed inside through the windows, and continued clearing the building. In each room, ten people would do the cleaning, with either the use of grenades or spraying of bullets. Rinse and repeat for seven floors and finally, fifty-eight hostiles were killed along with six soldiers who couldn’t make it. Upon reaching the rooftop, Staff Sergeant Dante radioed in. “Alpha site secure, what’s your situation, Bravo? Over” Ten members of the team then took positions at the edge and used their sniper rifles to shoot bogeys from afar.

“This is Private Dela Cruz, we’re taking heavy fire down here, Sergeant Kinto has been shot and won’t last long, we need assistance A-S-A-P.” Private Dela Cruz replied. He went out of his cover and used his shotgun to clear the room of any insurgents, before he was shot in the head by another, but luckily the bullet bounced off his helmet. Bravo team, which consisted of ninety men, was decimated down to forty. “I repeat this is Private Dela Cruz, we need assistance, please.” He radioed in to every team leader. “Bravo, this is Alpha leader, reinforcements for you are incoming.” “Bravo this Foxtrot Commander, support is coming.” Ten additional soldiers went where the distressed private was in while Lieutenant Barriga then continued. “We need your location, please mark the target with a flare, over.” The private quickly moved to the now corpse of Sergeant Kinto and took a flare stick from the holster. He then aimed out the window and threw it unto the nearby building. The blades of the helicopter and the subsequent blasting of the nearby house meant that the last house on the block was cleared, literally. “This is Foxtrot Commander, package has been delivered. Please be advised that comms of Charlie and Delta leaders are turned off. Over.”

2 km from the coast of Baarya, Phuebra; 5/26/18 11:30 pm

“Sir, we have a bit of situation on our hands. Albeit something alarming.” Sergeant Rayli said to the captain who is inside his cabin. “All of the troops, APCs, and Landing crafts seem to be missing along with all our helicopters.” The door swung open, with Captain Empedrad raiding his eyebrow while his fists clenched. “The fuck did you just say? Radio in Lieutenant Barriga, he should be on the deck or somewhere in the ship.” Empedrad walked off into the bridge and met with Lieutenant Isander. “By any chance, have Barriga deployed all the troops?” Isander then replied with an assuring “Yes, at 2200 sharp. The drones from the Wemalit will be deployed in 5 minutes.” Empedrad then angrily sighed and shouted to himself. “That son of a bitch. Ruining my tactics.” Grabbing his radio, he tried to contact Barriga hinself, but lo and behold, his was sabotaged. “Isander! I need your radio right now.” He exclaimed, before the Lieutenant complied. “Barriga, are you out of your mind? Retreat now, or you’re going to be court martialed. That’s an order, you’ve got 10 minutes.” A taunting goice then came. “Ah Capitan, I thought you weren’t going to catch up. Anyways, we here don’t want to be by the bay doing nothing, we here want to do everything as early as possible with minimal casualties, you can’t do shit now.” The static noise can be heard, as 25 UAV Predators flew off from the nearby QRB Wemalit

Cardinal Étienne Chaufourier, Marshal Heiner Schönbaum and Graziano Merullo looked at each other with disbelief and slight disgust; here they all expected to be a proper, disclosed meeting with the Ecclesiastical guests but instead it seemed to be one of those PR questionnaire moments that could be best saved for later; All three excused themselves and went outside the room, discussing what had just happened. "Well Heiner, I believe it's time to commit the ES even though we haven't exactly been given the green light; if the Quintelians wish to blast their way through city by city without any consultation and explicit permission to do so..." Chaufourier said, as the Marshal nodded in approval and made a direct, secure phone call to the Pope. "Your holiness...I believe it's time to commit the World's Most Moral Army to thus Phuebran mess as it is...understood." After a few minutes the trio made their way back inside the room to keep it up; "I just hope Sir, the Christian minority will still be able to receive protection from your government once this is all over, stories told by the countless refugees we've received back home is grim to say the least...We just want to be sure that the Ecclesiastical State will have an important role in maintaining such security" the Defense Minister asked.

BREAKING: ES Navy Strike Fleet and Expeditionary Force Approaches Phuebra

In this breaking announcement made by the Ministry of Defence, the Ecclesiastical government has mobilized one of its strike and expedtionary forces to assist the international coaliton consisting of the Free Phuebran state, Kingdom of Vaguzia and the Holy Empire of Achkaerin, in the fight against the Islamic terrorists. It is currently unclear whether the Ecclesiastical state has been given formal and official permission to do so but according to a defence spokesman, "The entire discussion so far with the rest of the coalition has been quite confusing and thus his holiness with the advice of cabinet members gave green light as the best measure." he said.

All branches of the Ecclesiastical Army of Christ, even with the Guardians of St. Peter Throne assisting with security duties, is understood to be active in the Phuebran crisis and action will first be seen over quite a long time; This is supposed to also be seen as a more direct Ecclesiastical stance when it comes to international relations.

Rhyth sighed, this was going well wasn't it? Though what had she expected?

"Let me be clear from where I sit as the commanding officer of the international force deployed in this country." Rhyth said "We are military officers we're not diplomats, we're not politicians, whatever's going to be demanded of you Mr Sorya is going to be done by politicians which is why once we're done here I suggest you get put on the first flight to Gowu to meet diplomatic representatives and negotiate a road map to what you have described to us. What we need to agree here is how we gain control of the situation in this country and outline the immediate post war security of this nation. I'll also say this, the security of this nation is not ensured if we have to react to actions that we are not informed about in advance, actions that if we were consulted about we would be able to work with rather than create an increased risk. There is a reasonable chance that in the next few hours the Capital City of Khyat will fall, that will bring with it in all probability the surrender of the illegitimate government. Should that happen it's important that everyone involved is on the same page which is why my top priority is to get someone from the Quintelian forces here, because we must make sure that we manage carefully what happens should the illegitimate government surrender."

After Cpt. Valenze and his men had a few days of rest, they had orders to search the area for any muslim rebels that were left from the guerrilla warfare in the jungle. In order to find the rebels, Valenze asked  around  the locals. He first asked an elderly woman, ´´Misses, have you seen any muslim rebels lately?´´. The woman answered: ´´No but maybe they are somewhere hidden in the rice fields.´´ After hearing that, Cpt. Valenze decided to take a look. The rice fields were around 20 miles from their current location and considering they also had to walk through hills in tempatures above 40 degrees, Valenze knew it was going to take a long time to get there. After 2 hours of walking Valenze gave his men some rest. When one of the men of Cpt. Valenze sat down, he spotted something weird, when he gave it a better look he saw an head of a skeleton. ´´Sir, i think you might wanna take a look at this´´ When Valenze saw it too he was shocked for a short moment before he ordered to look for more bodies. Valenze´s men eventually started digging in the ground and found 100 of bodies and they were quite sure this was just the top of the iceberg. ´´ I think we just found a mass grave of muslims´´ Cpt. Valenze said. ´´What makes you think these people are muslims?´´  Sgt. Henriques asked. ´´Well first of all, look at their clothes, typical Phuebran muslim clothes, and then second, in this area majority of the people was muslim and now it is majority buddhist, and i am pretty sure not all muslims have joined the rebel army. We have to tell this to high command right now.´´

el-Kamal was blown away by how fast this all had went by, a few months earlier his army had almost full control of his beloved nation Phuebra, now the only thing he control over was if he would surrender or die as a martyr, but he then realised that these Achkaerinese soldiers were probably skilled enough to shoot him somewhere that would knock him out but not kill him, so he surrendered: ´´ I beg you dont hurt me, i am so sorry, i beg you dont put me in prison i wont survive it there.´´

In the streets of Khyat a huge party broke out when the people realised that the Achkaerinese had reached the Presidential Palace, waving flags of the Free Phuebran Army, the only thing they were waiting for was the official news of el-Kamal´s surrender.

Rhyth spent the journey to Khyat in silence, the surrender of the Phuebran army or at least the portion of it that had started the uprising was a huge milestone in the stabilizing of the country. It meant that one of the biggest hurdles to peace had been overcome, now the landscape changed, now this became a case of rebuilding a broken nation and combatting the remaining fighters but according to their intelligence they were guerrilla insurgents rather than a professionally trained force, the nature of the conflict so to speak was now moving into its next phase. The radio traffic continued to come in, messages and confirmations, reports and double checking. But for Rhyth it was more about reflecting on the achievement of taking control.

When the vehicle carrying her arrived in Khyat it went straight to the Presidential Palace, other Achkaerinese units had been moved into the capital as well in order to ensure that the Phuebran's that surrendered were without question afforded their rights as prisoners of war under the Uppsalla Convention. Rhyth looked around as Sally and her troop brought out El-Kamal.

"General El-Kamal I am Lieutenant General Icerider of the Achkaerinese army and commander of the international force here." Rhyth said, as they were soldiers they saluted each other "On behalf of the international force I accept your surrender. You'll have to go with these soldiers sir."

With soldiers having secured the centre of the city Rhyth now looked around, the party atmosphere was becoming more and more apparent, the Free Phuebrans wouldn't be that far behind now. But with the changing landscape of the situation it was now time for the politicians to show their abilities and that meant Sorya sitting down in a room with some people and hashing out a roadmap to a new Phuebra.

In Gowu, Cherry Lotus House, once the seat of the Gowu-Toshikawa liaison office, had for the last few months been home to the members of the Phuebran Government, the legitimate government ousted by the uprising, the government that the international force had been fighting to reinstate, but now that was changing as well. James Black led a group of armed police into the building, this wasn't something they'd ever imagined they'd have to do but the information received regarding mass graves of Muslim victims in Buddhist held areas, traditionally and historically, warranted a response. It took a couple of minutes for the police to round everyone up and gather them into the function room.

"Ladies and Gentlemen." James said "As of this moment you are all being detained due to recent discoveries of mass graves inside Phuebra. I hope you will cooperate with us in ensuring that this is no more complicated than it needs to, but know that we will find out if any of you are culpable and they will face justice."
