A Story About the Haalglandian Civil War
« on: September 06, 2017, 07:17:02 PM »

Alexander was a young man by the time, he had a house, a family and a job. The war was raging at the time. The future was unceirtain: His home city was a flashpoint between the government and the rebels. Night by night, he and his family heard shots, and even cannons. The rumble was growing even harder every night.

They chose a descision. They would flee from the city, and find home somewhere.

Just before they were preparing to escape before dawn, her neighbor came, and bursting into tears she said: They killed my family!

Alexander, shocked ,asked :W-who?

–The soldiers! The soldiers! They-they, shot my spouse and his brother, after they questioned the orders from a KTH officer commanding us!

Alexander realized that they must escape there, and he also was a member of the opposition underground parties(specifically a member of the Workers' Confederation, member of the coalition called the Liberation Front, pursued by the KTH).

At the dawn, they exited the city in a truck along some friends, camouflaged as one that transported food. They were luckily enough just by the guards of the post let them pass through.

A entire day took their trip to the city of Tobenburg, a lot more peaceful than his old hometown, and also controlled by the Liberation Front...

Alexander and his family thought that they would be safe in there. They were right. They saw how the men said goodbye to their families, and saw his country wearing out. The fields, once green, were gray. Those picturesque towns, now properly called as ruins.

Eventually he had the day in which the army conscripted him. More than fighting, he worked rebuilding. The war was coming to the end, and also the winter. Spring was coming, also like a new episode for Haalgland full of hope and joy. This was the spring of a new Haalgland.
