Press Office of the Great Kingdom of Asadal
The Official Press Office of the Great Kingdom of Asadal announces that the State Council and the Privy Council has agreed by unanimity, given the current circumstances, following the established grand royal protocol, to grant Her Highness Queen Hong the powers and titles of Regent of the Great Kingdom of Asadal permanently until her demise or resignation as long as the present situation does not present a change.
The Established Provisions establish that she will continue to exercise the mentioned powers until one of the following circumstances is met: a) the recovery of His Grand Majesty Grand King Wonhyo; or b) the unfortunate demise of His Grand Majesty (whom the Sun and the Moon long preserve). In those conditions, the Style and Title of Regent should be reviewed by a joint plenary of the State Council and the Privy Council, as established in the grand royal protocol. Despite the special powers established by the State Council and the Privy Council, His Grand Majesty Grand King Wonhyo will continue to be honoured as head of state of the Great Kingdom of Asadal. The current status mentioned above would be automatically suspended and/or reviewed following an official statement or health assessment by the Heavenly Palace head doctor.
As established by the Dynastic Code, the person of Queen Hong is granted the title of Queen Regent and should be addressed as "Her Grand Royal Highness" or "Her Royal Highness" in all formal and written communications.
