The Empire of Tamora Press Office
« on: June 24, 2018, 10:39:04 AM »

Addressed to the Empire of Paracambi:

Following the recent statements and maseasures taken by your nation, the Empire of Tamora would like to inform your nation that slavery is an internal matter. The institution has always existed in our lands, it is part of our history, traditions and legal system. No amount of pressure will make us change an institution so ingrained in our social fabric.

In regards to the measures instituted by your country, which fall within your jurisdiction, we would like to express our regret that prior consultation with us was not engaged. Mature and established nations tend to engage in diplomatic solutions first before resorting to unilateral acts.

As a sign of good faith, the Emperor of Tamora has issued a decree allowing those convicted of violent crimes to apply for asylum to the Empire of Paracambi. We believe they will provide a much needed cultural enrichment to your country. Since the decisions made by your country were done without prior consultation with us, we reserve our right to keep the criminal records of the above Tamorans citizens confidential as to not influence your decision to grant asylum "to any Tamorans presenting themselves at any of your embassies".

We would also like to inform you that the Empire of Tamora would not retaliate against any Paracambi citizens or businesses in the Empire of Tamora. They are not to be held hostage because of the rash actions of your government.

In the hope of future cooperation, the Paracambi embassy in Tamora will be allowed to operate in normal conditions allowing them to process the asylum applications submitted by Tamoran citizens.

Response to the recent statement released by the First Empire of Rokkenjima regarding the situation in Midaranye:

The Empire of Tamora takes note of the recent statement released by The First Empire of Rokkenjima. We strongly agree with the First Empire’s assment that a potential war between the Empire of Tamora and the Republic of Slava Lavosk could potentially mean untold casualties on both sides. It is for this reason that we have resorted to the ultimatum after exhausting all other options. The Imperial government has had to consider on one side the potential loss of human life that a war would ensure and on the other,  the potential loss of life in case on inaction. And we count here not only the thousands of souls now imprisoned in Slava Lavosk but also countless others that could be imprisoned, face persecution or worse at the hands of foreign governments who could be embolden by our inaction into believing that persecution of Tamoran carries no repercussions. We believe that the haste to with which governments have lined up to sanction our people and worse is proof enough of the intentions they harbor.

We would also like to assure the First Empire that we have not made the decision of issuing the ultimatum because we were driven by anger. Furthermore, we wouldn't have issue it if we felt that there were other avenues that could still have been explored. We believe that the course of action employed by the First Empire of Rokkenjima during the Transval incident is not available to us since the Empire of Tamora is not part of intentional organizations and we strongly believe that the “international system” in place in Mundus does not offer us a reasonable chance to voice our grievances or a fair treatment. We believe the actions, or better said the inaction of other nations of the matter, speak for itself.

In the end, we would like say that the Empire of Tamora, though in the process of preparing for war, has not abandoned hope that our Eastern neighbor will, in the last minute, comply with the ultimatum and thus avoid conflict. God is all powerful, may he grant our neighbors the wisdom they lacked so far!

Statement on the latest offer by Commonwealth of the Unified Iwi
« Reply #3 on: February 15, 2019, 09:41:41 PM »

Statement on the latest offer by Commonwealth of the Unified Iwi

The Empire of Tamora has taken note of the recent offer made by the Commonwealth of the Unified Iwi to engage in slave trade by exchanging food for slaves. We would like to inform the Commonwealth that the Empire of Tamora will not be accepting the offer. Furthermore, we find it regrettable that the Commonwealth is using a humanitarian crisis to exert revenge on the people of Royal Seleucid. Nations all over Mundus have put their differences aside to come together to help the people of Seleucid and alleviate their suffering. The Commonwealth is joined only by the Republic of Slava Lavosk in refusing to provide aid in order to help their political gains. We suggest that the Commonwealth does not pass on this opportunity to heal the wounds between the people of Royal Seleucid and the Commonwealth of the Unified Iwi and join the rest of Mundus in proving assistance in this humanitarian crisis.

Statement on President MacPherson’s recent allegations against the Empire

Statement on President MacPherson’s recent allegations against the Empire of Tamora

President MacPherson’s bewilderment on why nations try to understand Tamoran culture rather than “crack down on it” is the latest example of the disconnect he finds himself with the rest of Mundus. Had Mr. MacPherson paid more attention to foreign cultures he would perhaps be in a better position to understand why most countries in Mundus have reacted the way they did towards the Bene Gesserit. We strongly recommend to President MacPherson that he abstains from making statements regarding the internal affairs of the Empire until he has developed a better grasp of Tamoran culture. The Empire of Tamora is willing to provide support to, though our embassy in Kataine, should the President choose enrich his knowledge of Tamoran traditions.

Warning to the nations of Mundus regarding the Republic of Slava Lavosk

Warning to the nations of Mundus regarding the Republic of Slava Lavosk

Following the release of the recent analysis made by General Joshua Rhodes of the Kingdom of Seafoth Armed Forces, we would like to the public confirm that our intelligence service has substantial evidence that the Republic of Slava Lavosk is the last stages of developing thermonuclear weapons. The prospect of Slava Lavosk having such weapons is one that should worry people all over Mundus whether heads of state or ordinary citizens as the Republic has a track record of displaying hostility and engaging in aggressive actions towards its own citizens, neighboring countries and other third parties.
We therefore ask all interested parties to use all available means to pressure the Slavan government to abandon its thermonuclear program.

Statement on CNN’s offer regarding the Jekar Shield Missile system

Statement on CNN’s offer regarding the Jekar Shield Missile system

The Empire would like to express its appreciation to the CNN for the swift reaction regarding the possession of thermo nuclear weapons by the Republic of Slava Lavosk. The Empire fully supports the measures taken by CNN and appreciates their impartiality. The current tensions between the Empire of Tamora and the Republic of Slava Lavosk are a separate issue to that of possessing and potentially using thermo nuclear weapons which is a matter that could potentially affect all Mundus nations.
Furthermore, the Empire accepts the generous offer by the CNN and will host the Jekar's Shield Missile Defence, fully agreeing to the condition that systems be manned by Morelanders forces. The system is purely defensive and not meant to be an act of aggression against Slava Lavosk.

Statement on the recent chemical attack that took place in Kaitaine
« Reply #7 on: March 08, 2019, 09:18:20 PM »

Statement on the recent chemical attack that took place in Kaitaine

In the last 24 hours we have seen the illegitimate government of Kaitaine ordering a chemical attack against its own citizens in a desperate effort to cling to power and the territory they are losing bit by bit each day. The attack was made shortly after the First Empire of Rokkenjima has made the announcement that they will be providing 2 bln dinars (USD) in military aid to the illegitimate government on Kaitaine. Actions like the ones the First Empire have done serve to embolden the illegitimate government of Kaitaine to use extreme measures against its on people in order to preserve their hold over the country. It is for the reason that the Foreign Office recommends that all nations of Mundus immediately stop providing any military aid to the government of Kaitaine, issue a condemnation for the chemical attack that has happened and consider issuing sanctions of their choosing. Fighting terrorism is a noble goal that the Empire of Tamora will always support. Furthermore, indiscriminate chemical attacks against military and civilian population alike, as we have just seen happening in Kaitaine, is also an act of terrorism and must be condemned like any other.

Statement on the recent Ardian crisis

The Empire of Tamora in concerned with the First Empire of Rokkenjima’s recent aggressive measures taken against the nations of New Derusmia and China. The speed with which these measures have been taken and the lack of prior consultation have led to the two previous mentioned nations to declare a state of emergency. This panic that has been created is a direct consequence of the Fist Empire’s recent actions and therefore in order to deescalate the situation the Empire of Tamora recommends that Rokkenjima suspend all actions or sanctions taken against the previously mentioned nations.

Not long ago the First Empire of Rokkenjima threatened the Republic of Zimalia with military action should Zimalia not agree to conform to the First Empire’s foreign policy demands. Thanks to an international effort that was initiated by Nya Aland of which Tamora played a role which saw fighters being deployed to the Republic of Zimalia to help defend its borders, Rokkenjima had no option but to give up its aggressive intentions against Zimalia.

It is for this reason that Tamora will offer to both New Derusmia and China a squadron of Su 35 fighters to help deter the First Empire from taking any aggressive action and also ease some of the concerns that the two countries have. Should the nations agree to our proposal, the squadrons will be sent to the respective countries as soon as possible.

We urge the First Empire of Rokkenjima to show restraint in this recent crisis.

Response to Rokkenjima’s concerns

We would like to thank Rokkenjima for the information presented but we would like to remind its government that it is not us that it has to convince that it has not take aggressive action against China and New Derusmia or that it plans to do so in the near future. Those two nations that are on the same continent have entered a state of emergency because they have serious concerns over the intentions of Rokkenjima and Tamora has offered to provide help to them. It is them that it needs to convince rather than us.

We would also like to remind Rokkenjima that it has no authority to speak in the name or Ardia and all its nations. Furthermore, our help will pe provided only if the Ardian nations of China or  New Derusmia agree to receive it. Surely Rokkenjima cannot speak for all of Ardia if at least one of these nations decides or help is needed.

Statement on the Ardian Assembly Debate - Slavery & Sanctions

Since the next debate of the Ardian Assembly is about sanctioning our Empire among other things, we would like to offer clarifications to the statements made by HM Grand Duke Hugo Lascelles.

First, we would like to attest and confirm the best intentions of the HoS of China and Quintelia. In the case of Quintelia, the Emperor of Tamora can personally attest that the HM King Lapu’s only interest was to free the slave families and thus end their suffering as fast of possible. During the whole process, King Lapu was personally interested in the affairs of the freed slaves and made everything possible so that their release can be done as swiftly as possible. For their part the Chinese authorities have also been in constant contact with us urging us to free the slaves as fast as possible.

Second, we are not sure exactly why the ethnicity of some of Tamora’s slaves has been mentioned and we refer here to the Maori. Tamora has millions of ethnic Parthians in slavery, we do not believe that ethnicity matters. That aside we are disappointed that so far the Commonwealth of the Iwi has not approached us in order to find a solution of the millions of Maori now in slavery. The HoS of China and Quintelia have taken steps and helped people that were not of their ethnicity or even race yet the Maori seem content to largely ignore their brethren.

Third, we would like to address the statement that the transactions have hardly made a dent on the total number of slaves in Tamora. I believe HM Grand Duke Hugo Lascelles has been misinformed as to the purpose of these transactions. While both China and Quintelia have expressed their opposition to the institution of slavery numerous times during our talks at no point were we under the impression that these transactions were meant to end slavery in our nation but rather to free approx. 100 thousand souls from slavery. We believe that giving freedom now to such a great number of people cannot be underestimated or swept away by saying it “does not end mass suffering”. We believe that ending slavery for 100.000 people means ending “mass suffering” and has made an immense positive impact for the said individuals. Furthermore, we do not believe the recent freed slaves would see the act of paying for their release as unjust or immoral and we speculate that given the change they would personally thank the HoS of both China and Quintelia for their actions.

Forth, we would like to thank HM Grand Duke Hugo Lascelles for the economic analysis presented to the nations of Mundus regarding our internal affairs. However, we would like to further expand on that analysis by thinking about the unfortunate soul in slavery on that Tamoran farm that HM had mentioned. The plan proposed by HM would lead to the price of slaves going down as slave work becomes less desirable and owners will sell their slaves gradually. A lower value for a slaves means poorer living conditions for slaves for an owner will not simply release his slaves if the values goes down. When a values of a slave goes down, he is worth less for his master and that is not a good thing for the person in bondage.

Fifth, sanctions so far have increased the number of slaves as a result of further weakening our economy and bankrupting more and more of our citizens. I fail to see how the plan proposed by HM Grand Duke Hugo Lascelles will help end slavery if it produces more slaves by the month.

Six, we would like to remind HM that the Tamoran justice system specifically mandates retribution for the crime committed by the guilty parties and retribution includes slavery. No amount of sanctions would change our justice system. Take for example the parents whose daughter has been killed and the murderer is now their slave after being sentenced us such. How will sanctioning Tamora and worsening their living conditions convince the parents of the recently deceased that it’s not in their interest to own slaves?

Seven, we would like to also address the premise that should Tamora give up the institution mandated by the Prophet Mani and taught by our Church since its beginnings, Tamora could become more prosperous and it could even bring in more taxes to the treasury. We strongly believe that many in Tamora would choose to be poorer and worse off but be faithful to the teaching of the Prophet and reap the benefits of their obedience in the afterlife than be more prosperous and rich now and spend an eternity in damnation. As for the government of Tamora, we would like to emphasize again that the institution of slavery is written in the Book of Mani and that no Emperor can abolish it even if it were to ever succumb to the pressures of foreign powers.

Eight, we would also like to further clarify the term “slave economy” that has been used in regards to Tamora’s economy. While I personally own slaves as have my parents and their parents as so do my children, there are millions in Tamora that do not. Some because they are too poor too afford them, others because just like HM or the HoS of China and Quintelia are morally appalled by the institution. While I do not agree with them as I do not agree with HM I cannot deny that these citizens exist in Tamora. Painting a broad picture over Tamora as a slave economy ignores the complexity of the preferences and conditions of each individual living in Tamora. After all, the people who have sold their slaves to China and Quintelia could just as well have used their money to replace the slave labor with machinery for example.

Lastly, I would like inform the Ardian Assembly that regardless of the economic sanctions taken against Tamora and the consequences of those sanctions against the people of Tamora, the Empire will not retaliate in kind. The citizens of your countries that reside in Tamora, though few in number, will continue to enjoy the same protections. Furthermore, on our part we will not prohibit our businesses to trade with your nations. We have not retaliated in the past and we will not do so in the future.

It is the hope of this government that despite the disagreements between the governments of our nations dialogue will be allowed to continue.

Respectfully yours,
Head of Foreign Affairs
Alya Safavid

OOC: I have by mistake addressed the Grand Duke as HM. It's an OOC mistake, if possible please assume the correct and formal title has been used.

On the liberation of Hako(Kaitaine) and the current civil war in Kaitaine

The Tamoran government welcomes the liberation of Hako by the forces of the Theocracy which is further proof that the rebel soviet government in the East of the country is quickly losing the little support it had among the population. We urge the rebel government to think of the loss of life and hardships it is causing to the country and to begin negotiations with the Theocracy for the peaceful transfer of power to the rightful government of Kaitaine.

Statement on the recent announcement that Nyx Investment Authority is considering to invest in Midaranye

The Foreign Office welcomes the decision of the Nyx Investment Authority to consider Midaranye for investment.  While the Empire does not allow foreign investment within its borders it nevertheless appreciates the intetion of cooperation towards insuring the prosperity of the region rather the unfortunate antagonistic attitude displayed by some foreign governments. And while as previously stated Tamora does not allow foreign investment that does not mean that the Empire is not interested in cooperating for potential joint projects in the region or other alternatives.

The Empire remains committed to the property of the region and is always willing to engage partners that seek peace and commerce.

Statement on the recent escalation of tensions started by Rokkenjima

The Empire of Tamora condemns the recent statements made by First Empire of Rokkenjima in regards to the incident of the Sea of Kyne. The presence of Rokkenjiman ships in the area of Northern Kyne only raises tensions in the region and escalates an incident that is between Commonwealth of the Iwi and the Emirate of Royal Seleucid only.

We would also like to correct the First Empire of Rokkenjima by informing the public that no act of piracy has taken place and statements such as these coming from a foreign capital is close to irresponsible and could potentially affect commercial traffic in the region.

We urge the First Empire of Rokkenjima to focus its attention on restoring tranquility with the Southern Ardian countries before making commitments in other regions of Mundus.

Statement of the recent foreign military forces which will be deployed in Kyne
« Reply #15 on: October 10, 2019, 08:44:53 PM »

Statement of the recent foreign military forces which will be deployed in northern Kyne

The Empire of Tamora strongly condemns the recently announced decision by the Kingdom of East Moreland to move military assets in Northern Kyne. The Kingdom is not a native nation of the Sea of Kyne and its strong links with the Commonwealth of Iwi only fuels the latter’s aggressive actions against the Emirate of Royal Seleucid as it was recently seen.  Furthermore, such presence here under minds the kingdom’s opposition to the presence of non native nations in the Illuminc and Mhorish seas. We once again remind the kingdom of East Moreland that no piracy acts have been committed and that they can better spend their efforts on attempting to restrain the Commonwealth of Iwi from the aggressive actions they seem prone to take.

The Empire of Tamora also condemns the announcement made by the Holy Empire of Achkaerin to deploy military forces and would like to remind the Holy Empire that both the Empire of Tamora and the kingdom of Pramoria have not signed the Fair Seas Concordat and military forces deployed in the region that seek to impose a treaty that several countries in the region haven’t sign is something will escalate tensions outside of the Iwi –Seleucid present situation.

Lastly, we would like to state that having non MidAranye nations deploy military forces in the region despite the protests of MidAranye countries will have long term effects on the relations of Tamora with the nations that choose to deploy such assets.

Statement on the Clysperi Free Army and its activity in the Kingdom of Clyspris

Following the assassination attempt perpetrated by the Clysperi Free Army on two members of the Safavid family: Prince Naser and the Pharaoh Akasha, as well as the use of arms against the government of Clysperis, the Empire of Tamora has designated the Clysperi Free Army a terrorist organization.

The Empire of Tamora will now use extra scrutiny in approving work permits for Clysperi citizens seeking to work in the Empire, will require Tamoran financial institutions to actively monitor financial transactions made by the Clysperi diaspora in Tamora to the kingdom of Clysperis. We urge Clysperi nationals residing in Tamora to inform the Tamoran authorities on any suspicion they might have in relation with the above mentioned organization.

Statement on the Juglander civil war

Statement on the Juglander civil war

The Empire of Tamora urges all sides of the conflict to show restraint in the ongoing conflict in Jugland. The current war has led to countless loss of civil lives and has forced a large part of the civil population to flee the affected areas.

While the Kingdom of Jugland and the Empire of Tamora do not share many cultural and religious bonds they do share a continent. A stable Kingdom of Jugland is in the interest of Tamora, the population of the Kingdom of Jugland and the whole continent. It is for this reason that government of Tamora has authorized the sending of medical supplies and will coordinate with the government of Kingdom of Jugland in order to see that the supplies reach their destination.

The government of Tamora is willing to engage in talks with the government of the Kingdom of Jugland to explore ways in which Tamora can help alleviate some of the hardships facing the civil population in the Kingdom of Jugland.

Statement on the recent developments in Nueva Ardia

The Empire of Tamora fully supports President Melos and his initiative to continue serving his people and providing stability for the country and the region. Most countries in Mundus are monarchies and the head of states of those countries dedicate their lives to serving and leading their nations. Nueva Ardia should look at these successful monarchies for inspiration and allow competent leaders to continue to do their work to improving the country without arbitrary restrictions such a term limits.

The Empire of Tamora also urges the opposition to give up on violence which does nothing but negatively affect the stability of the country and its social cohesion. The Empire of Tamora continues to support stability around Mundus from the region of MidAranye where it is actively involved in combating terrorism in Clysperis and is part of a joint naval taskforce aimed at securing the region against foreign aggression to cooperating with the Euirasian and Juglander governments which are facing various domestic issues at home and is looking forward to cooperating with the Nueva Ardian administration in the future.

New Derusmian embassy staff in Djerb declared persona non grata
« Reply #19 on: November 30, 2019, 12:54:59 PM »

New Derusmian embassy staff in Djerb declared persona non grata

Following the recent statement made by President Ebston Feish which has claimed that the Kingdom of Clysperis is not a “recognized state”, the Emperor of Tamora has decreed that all New Derusmian citizens which are employed at the New Derusmian in Djerb have been declared persona non grata and have been asked to leave the Empire in the next 72 hours. The Empire of Tamora will accept a new ambassador level position from New Derusmia only after the government of New Derusmian has reconsidered its position on the Kingdom of Clysperis.
The Empire has shown much patience with New Derusmia it the hope that its government will reconsider its position on Clysperis following discussions on the matter but unfortunately, the New Derusmia has saw fit to not only ignore the information provided by various sources but has now escalated the crisis by implying that government lead by Pharaoh Akasha Di-‘nh-mi-Re is not legitimate.

We remind the New Derusmian government that the Empire of Tamora offered support to Zimalia when that nation was threatened with military action by the First Empire of Rokkenjima just as we did offer help to New Derusmia and the Second Imperial Chinese Republic when they too were threatened by First Empire of Rokkenjima. Unfortunately, the irresponsible actions by the New Derusmian government weakness the security position of New Derusmia. Furthermore, since Pharaoh Akasha Di-‘nh-mi-Re, aside from having the near unanimous recognition as the sovereign government, has also received military support from nations including: Holy Empire of Achkaerin, the NQF and Dragovah. This leaves New Derusmia isolated further weakening its security and undermining its relations with various countries in Mundus.

We pray the government of New Derusmia will restore its wisdom and moral compass and change its current stance on Clysperis and no longer legitimize the terrorist organization there before it irrevocably ruins its relations with the Empire.

Statement regarding Fleur’s potential support for terrorist organizations
« Reply #20 on: November 30, 2019, 12:56:19 PM »

Statement regarding Republic of Fleur’s potential support for terrorist organizations in Clysperis

The Empire of Tamora is disappointed that the Republic of Fleur has proceed to recognize as legitimate and engage in talks with an entity that is labeled terrorist by the imperial government and is responsible for an assassination attempt on the Emperor’s son as well as a campaign of religious persecution and systematic killing of civilians in the Kingdom of Clysperis.

It is the belief of this government that the Republic has been not only been misinformed on the crimes committed by the so called “Confederation” but also on what the potential repercussions of supporting such an entity would have on the activities of the Republic in the Empire of Tamora.

The Empire of Tamora is fully aligned with the Republic in seeking to restore peace and stability in the Kingdom of Clysperis and our military presence there is meant to ensure that happens by stopping the current terrorist activities taking place in the country. We are therefore puzzled as to the reason why the Republic would condemn our presence there when its aims coincide with the Republic’s.

We ask the Republic, which is thousands of miles away from Midaranye and therefore unfamiliar with the on the ground situation and context of the region, to carefully consider its dealings with the so called “Confederation” by taking into consideration the implications such dealings would have on its relations with Midaranye countries. We would like to remind the Fleur government that our embassy staff in the Republic can help council the Fleur government on the intricacies of Midaranye history, culture, religion and general affairs.

Addressing the concerns of Vanora and Safraen

Addressing the concerns of Vanora and Safraen

The Empire of Tamora has taken note of the legitimate concerns expressed by the Heads of State of Vanora and Safren and would like to state the following:

1.   The Empire of Tamora has sent a small contingent of naval ships to Gulf and is part of an agreement reached with the kingdom of Clysperis before the current crisis begun.

2.   The Empire of Tamora is in agreement with both Vanora and Safraen that the ships dispatched to the Gulf must not become a permanent presence and is fully committed to this position.

3.   It is unfortunate the current situation in Clysperis which was started by the so called “Confederation” is causing economic harm to Vanora, Safraen and the whole MidAranye region. The Empire of Tamora has previously made public its commitment to the security of the MidAranye and it is for this reason that are prepared to provide assistance to the refugees centers in both countries. The assistance can come in the form of supplies, financial support or both and our embassies in Vanora and Safraen as well as the Foreign Office is ready to engage in talks to provide such assistance. Also, in a further effort to alleviate some of the negative effects on the tourism industry, the Foreign Office is prepared to engage in talks regarding the easier facilitation of transit visas for tourist wishing to visit Vanora or Safraen via Tamora as well as discussion other proposals that might help the tourism industry in Vanora and Safraen countries.

The Empire of Tamora, as previously stated, is committed to the security of MidAnraye as well as its self-reliance and as such we are willing to address the concerns of MidArnaye countries regarding the situation in Clysperis, the presence of non MidAranye forces in the region or any other concerns.

Statement of the Refugee Centers in Abuqiya

Statement of the Refugee Centers in Abuqiya

The Empire of Tamora welcomes the solidarity shown by the  Kamyarmuj Federal Administrative as well as the central government of Abuqiya with the refugees from Clysperis. The Empire of Tamora fully understands the pressures such facilities put not just on the public finances but also on the social cohesion of the country. The Empire of Tamora has always seen its neighbor of Abuqiya as a friend and ally as well as appreciated the fact that the Qiyadi State has given religious minorities such as the Manist the autonomy as a Federal Administrated Region.

The Empire of Tamora is actively engaged in fighting the terrorist threat in Clysperis that harms the Clyperi kingdom and remains firmly committed to the security and stability of MidAranre. We would also like help share the financial costs of the refugee centers in Abuqiya as well as provide any material assistance the government or local authorities might need.  We have instructed our embassy in Abuqiya to help coordinate with the central and autonomous government in order to help with the refugee centers and the Foreign Office remains open to further sharing the burden in the future.

Statement on the recent declaration of the Republic of Fleur

The Empire of Tamora welcomes the commitment to dialogue expressed by the Republic. Furthermore, the Empire would like to clarify that its statements were not meant to intimidate the Republic though considering the difference in size between the two nations, the Foreign Office understands how the Republic might have interpreted that as such.

Regarding the request made by Republic counterparts to place the Republic’s schools activating in Tamora under the provisions of the Rocheliee Convention, we would like to inform the Republic that their request is denied. Furthermore, any unilateral decision by the Republic to do so will be considered null and void by the Tamoran government.

Lastly, the Foreign Office will make the necessary arrangements for the meeting with  Mr. Alexandre Marc Michel Debeauson to take place.

Public condemnation of the recent border provocations of the First Empire

Public condemnation of the recent border provocations of the First Empire of Rokkenjima

The Empire of Tamora publicly condemns the recent provocative actions undertaken by the First Empire against its Southern neighbor, Toshikawa, and urges the First Empire of Rokkenjima to restrain its forces and purse the avenue of peace rather than issue veiled threats.

Should First Empire of Rokkenjima continue on this belligerent course towards its Southern neighbor which could destabilize the region,  the Tamoran Empire will be forced to explore other options in its effort to force the First Empire to return on the path of diplomacy.

Statement on the release of Seleucid citizens detained by the First Empire of Rokkenjima

The Tamoran Empire welcomes the release of the Seleucid citizens who have been detained without reason for more than a year. While the release comes after a very long period of detainment it is nevertheless a positive development for them to be released and allowed to return home to their families.

Statement of on the recent deployment of Morelander carriers

Statement of on the recent deployment of Morelander carriers

The Tamoran Empire condemns the recent announcement of East Moreland to deploy two carriers in an attempt to intimidate and provoke the Empire of Ubrriekland. The Morelander government has a long history of aggression against other states including, but not limited to, the Tribal Union of Zimalia and the Emirate of Royal Seleucid. Measures such as those announced by the Morelander government can only inflame a delicate situation and are an overreaction. We urge the Morelander to go back on its promise to deploy those carriers, as it has gone back on its word in the past when it promised to help Tamorans against the threat on nuclear annihilation, and seek first to talk with the Empire of Ubrriekland in order to come to a mutually agreeable solution.
