A Summit for the Sake of Security
« on: May 02, 2020, 10:53:43 PM »
Building the Foundation for Diplomatic Relations with Ubriekkland

To our northern neighbors, I feel now that we have broke the ice by assisting eachother and monitoring the rebellious activity near our border, it is time to start formal relations. This is an invitation written by me, the Executive Senator of the Commonwealth of Soleimani, to Ubriekkland’s general government, for a summit between me and your High Lord, Perceval Martialis Jundt. I feel this way, we would be able to further discuss how to improve our military relations, and hopefully set the foundation for a diplomatic relationship in the future. We would be able to discuss certain topics, such as the construction of your Navy, and how we would be able to assist.

The summit, if you agree to come, will take place at the High Council Building in Tehrestan. During the summit, I’ll make sure your High Lord will become familiar with all eight members of the High Council, as well as our Chief Justice. Your High Lord and any accompanying personnel can land by helicopter at the Capital Heliport, where we’ll have Executive Transport waiting for you.

Sincerely,
The Executive Senator

To the Soleimani, i am really grateful to be invited. first thing is i will inform and ask the emperor permission first which i assure you it will be given by him. next is considering our southland is in turmoil we ask a docking right for our entourage to dock and proceed to the summit by car. for the entourage we will have the 8 representative from the 8 region to discuss with for the future of our country. i sincerely believe you can agree with this and understand from where the reasoning for this come.

Sincerely,

Absolutely, we will be more than happy to have your representatives visit as well, as they’ll be able to cooperate with our High Council members. As for the transport, rest assured we’ll make sure you can dock by boat at Bostonia, where we’ll have Executive Transport waiting for you and the Representatives. From there you will travel to Tehrestan where the official summit will be held. As an option for extra security during these rebellious times, we may have your boat escorted by F-23s the moment you enter our waters.

Sincerely,
The Executive Senator

Perceval Martialis Jundt

Being in the sovereignty bay looking through the fish and blue sea and sky help calm you down. it is really needed to calm oneself before a meeting, especially when your nation is in a constant state of emergency and you are one of the leader, it might be help if he is not in a great war era ship with a plane escorting you, so to avoid the pirates and separatist that might trying to hunt you. now with other 8 representative, he hope that this visit and meeting might be another bridge mended like in moreland. it a shame he cant see the wrestling match of hastfurtian, but he prided himself on his smooth black hair so going to there will be another ego fighting ego of an "important person".

"Well lad there it is, bostonia where our host will welcome us. hope you guys mind your word because  we cant fail this more like an old ship, am i right forgemaster Grünewald?"
the representatives of the southern region is ironically is from a forge city who in their own nature should not want to be tangled in politic. their 3 way conflict is the reason and i can see in the future the forge city will not support any communist or religious party in the future.

and a land, well it still near the sea but the sense of relief in landing is always a welcome one either. it's not like he cant swim but dying in a vastness of "nothingness" still not a good way to die.
"hello gentlemen we are the representatives of ubrriekland, and myself is the high lord of Ubrriekland Perceval Martialis Jundt. you can call me jundt if that was too long."

Perceval Martialis Jundt

As the roaring sound of the fighters faded away into the distance, he greeted and introduced himself to the several people dressed in suits who accompanied him as he exited the ship. They quickly transported him to a luxurious vehicle, and the motorcade surrounding him got rolling. As they drove through the city, the High Lord took in the busy and lively surroundings. This was his first experience in Soleimani, and he watched as they passed skyscrapers, then shorter buildings, then houses, and now they were on a busy highway traveling through the woods and hills. The High Lord was anticipating his meet with the Executive and the other High Council members, this was a much needed summit. After a while, the High Lord was informed by his driver that they had arrived in Tehrestan and were approaching the High Council building. This city was incredibly different from the port city in which they entered. The High Lord exited the vehicle and him and his representatives were quickly brought into the grand halls of the historic High Council building.

Secretary of State

“Welcome, High Lord, let me introduce myself, I am Benyamin Nahal, Secretary of State of the Commonwealth of Soleimani, you are Mr. Jundt, correct?”
“Indeed, but you can call me Perceval. These here are my representatives from the different regions of our country.”
Benyamin individually shakes everybody’s hand and greets them
“Well then, please, follow me, we will be starting our meeting in the Carlias room. There will be members of the press there, obviously, but you can feel free to walk around the area as you wish during your meeting. We will be dining in the Banquet Hall at 7:30.”

Perceval

As he walks towards the room where the meeting will commence, Perceval continues to take in the grand architecture of Soleimani. Reporters follow him and the representatives at a distance, with cameras flashing away. He wonders to himself what the Executive will be like, what exactly they will talk about. He does have a basic idea of topics he wants to get to, but he is unaware of specifically what they’ll achieve tonight. Finally, they open the doors to the room in which their meeting will commence. At the end of the room sits a smiling man in a leather chair, with several other men and women standing beside him. The High lord walks towards him and the man gets up from his chair and shakes his hand.
“While hello! Greetings! I have been long awaiting you’re arrival, I am the Executive Senator of the Commonwealth, please, sit down, make yourself comfortable. I feel like first we should get to know everyone, these people beside me are the other members of the High Council, and I see you’ve brought your representatives as well.”
After taking a moment for everyone to greet everyone else, the Executive sat back down and pointed to a row of chairs right next to him for all of the representatives and the High alors to sit in.
“Well, Mr. Jundt, what shall we discuss first?”

"lets talk about security first, i have several suggestion in here:
1. collaborated border patrol
2. maritime patrol cooperation
3. joint officer school/training
4. joint military training
as of now that is what i can offer in this situation. and hope this might open to future alliance and partnership military and economically. so do you have any suggestion for this?"

perceval then give the formal document, and let his discussion partner read and process it first.

The Executive looked and scanned at the document, but tried to do so quickly due to the fact that the surrounding press was anticipating an answer. Something on the document caught his eye.
“Well, Mr. Martialis Jundt, I am interested in exploring all of these joint opportunities between our nations, however, I believe especially that Maritime patrol is a key factor to defending our countries from threats both internal and external. I also would obviously be very interested in collaborates border control as you have previously stated. I think there are many ways we can work with this. For example, I believe we could work together on official standards for our military, especially in the maritime patrol department.”

The Executive glanced once again at the paper, and thought for a second.
“Is it possible that somehow we could base our patrol aircraft and sea craft models off of the same design. Have brilliant minds from our two nations work together to create designs that we could share and modify ourselves to fit our demands. This would drastically lower the cost of designing new military craft as we would both be investing in the design. This would also allow the opportunity for our engineers and revolutionary thinkers to work together, hence further increasing our relationship between our great nations. As well as opening up maritime air-space between our two countries. That way military planes would be able cross into the other country’s airspace without raising suspicion. This would certainly make it easier when we need to respond to emergencies in our waters. On top of that I suggest we begin participating in cooperative military practice tests and operations so we become more comfortable and adjusted to working alongside eachother.”

that an interesting proposal, an attractive one even. but like many seasoned veteran of an diplomatic affair, every offer have a catch. and as far as he know every ally spy on each other not out of hate or bad intention, but to cover his friend weakness without announcing to the whole world.

"fine addition Mr. Senator, but i need to discuss it more to the emperor for this joint design operation. mind you our hand still open but we still need a guarantee as an equal partner in this."
he put out another document of proposal and give it to him.
"this one is a proposal asked by the northern coastal region. they would like to improve our relationship beyond military cooperation. theres 2 offer from them:
1. an easier student exchange program for our law and politic school
2. an offer to build an SSCARA circuit in the northern coastal region.
they hope this can improve our economy and friendship by boosting soleimani citizen to travel to us and improve ubrrieklander interest to non violence sport."

Executive Minstra:
The Senator was very glad that the High Lord has brought up the topic of expanding past military relations.
“Well, I myself was interested in discussing topics beyond military. I am incredibly glad that you brought this up. I for one completely agree with the idea improving our current student exchange program. By sponsoring more frequent exchange trips we can build a stronger understanding of each other’s cultures. This I’m sure will also create the opportunity for our young and aspiring college students to work together, hence improving our citizen’s relationship between our two nations. I see so many positives to that. I’m sure we could invest in more frequent exchange trips. As for the SSCARA circuit, I am incredibly excited to allow SSCARA to go multi-national. I can imagine this will improve your local economy through ticket revenue, as well as improve the SSCARA brand by introducing a whole new region to the series. I absolutely think we can further discuss the SSCARA circuit in further detail later on, hopefully with the emperor as well.”

Well, Sir Jundt, those are all the talking points I had intended to get to. Unless you have any other suggestions, I believe it is time we make things official. We can have dinner, and then afterwards cooperatively with our represent work on a short-term treaty which our respective governments can then modify to make it official.

indeed it has been a long day and extending the hospitality of the host is not really appropriate, yet there is one other important thing need to be talked. but it can be done for a latter days. for patience is a virtue and what Ubrriekland lack in soft power, a patience is their strong points.

"well then, i suppose that all for today meeting but i do love it to invite you to us for the next time. there we can discuss more for the benefit of our nation. Other than that i hope we can formalize thing and let the ball rolling smoothly. may The Soleimani will be one of our friend now and the future too."

putting his best diplomatic face, and shaking the executive hand. he let the official and his host lead the way for the next event and agenda.
