Lilith | Lilith is the Seraph of Retribution. She was the lover of The Red, and as such lost everything in the war with the Chaos Dragon. Unlike her lover, she chose to remain loyal to the rest of the Seraphim. Lilith has deep distaste for love, having been scorned by it. Myths of creatures like Medusa and the Sirens are often thought to be Lilith, praying on young lustful men. Unlike the other Seraphs, she is often not a permanent patron Seraph, but rather prayed to when one has too been scorn by love. |
The Red | This Seraph has been stuck from history. His name and what he ruled over has long been forgotten. He chose to side with the Chaos Dragon and for his treason, he is cursed to an eternal prison within the afterlife. There have been a number of heretical movements focused on The Red, often times believing him to be misunderstood. |
Jisu | Jisu is the Seraph of Blood. She is the chosen patron of the Maar Clans. She is a legendary warrior and cannibal. It is said that she gains strength by consuming the flesh of those she defeats in battle. In addition to her skills at warcraft, she is also infamous for her carnal appetites- perversions of the highest order. Jisu is thought to perhaps be the Seraph that spends the most time among the humans. She is disliked by many of the other Seraphim because she is seen as animalistic and brutish. |
Reaver | Reaver is the Seraph of Tricks. Reaver is a shapeshifter, and their true form is unknown even to the rest of the Seraphim. Reaver is genderless, often appearing in legends as both female and male. Reaver's personality is extremely hard to define, for they often take new forms and act in unusual ways. Reaver has become a patron to outcasts, actors, and artists. Despite this, Reaver is an extremely accomplish warrior, capable of even dueling with Jisu. Reaver is said to have gone mad in the final battle with the Chaos Dragon, as they were the one to strike the final blow. |
Necra | Necra is the Seraph of Death. It is her duty to guide the recently departed from Mundus to the afterlife. She often choses the shape of a ferryman for this task. She is said to be closed off and cold to outsiders. But those that she has left in know her to be extremely loyal and kind. Necra is deeply in love with Reaver and wishes for the Seraph to join her dominion so the two may live together forever. As such, she often appears in Reaver's journeys trying to kill the Seraph. Necra is also connected with Reincarnation, as she was killed by the Chaos Dragon before being reborn. |
Rizelthial | Rizelthial is the Seraph of Flames. While originally The Red ruled over fire, Rizelthial was gifted his powers after he was defeated. Rizelthial is the youngest of the Seraphim. He has a tendency posses some of the more traditional traits of the youthful; idealism, naivety, and hope. When waiting for good news, it is often for Nitehymn to light a candle as an offering to Rizelthial. |
