-All foreign monarchs are referred to with feminine titles in Xæthoon and their consorts are referred to with masculine titles regardless of the individuals actual gender. This is on account of the feminine titles in Xæthoon referring explicitly to ruling monarchs, whereas the masculine titles refer only to a ruler's consort.
-The Most Serene and Celestial Empress of Xæth is the only monarch on Mundus referred to with the highest-ranking title in the Xæthoon language. Xæth's Empress' Xæthoon title translates directly to "Queen of Queens", whereas all foreign monarchs are referred to with a title that translates into "High Queen".
-The name of the Thælyr tribe (which lends it's name to the Kingdom of Thælyrn and through that the Imperial House xy Thælyrn) derives its name from "Thæla Lyrr", which roughly translates to "Demon Child". This name comes from the tribe's founding legend, in which one of the Goddess Allaxara's demi-god daughters outwitted, defeated, raped, and killed a six-armed, city-destroying demon. The children she would give birth to would be the first of the Thælyr tribe.
-In terms of body modification, Xæth has one of the highest rates of scarification. There are some parts of Xæth where scarification is just as common, if not more common, than simple tattooing.
-In the past, many of the old coastal Queendoms of Xæth would give their younger daughters ships to captain as pirates in the service of the crown. The practice slowly fell out of favour as more and more of these younger Princesses realized they could use their ships, experience, and wealth to usurp the crowns of their elder sisters.
-The honey badgers which East Moreland so adores are actually descended from a species native to Xæth, given as a gift to a visiting King of East Moreland by the Empress of Xæth centuries ago.
