BACKGROUND
Early HistoryThe first humans settled the region Polania occupies about 2300 years ago, the area quickly grew in population due to the natural harbors and good fields provided by the area, by 400 AD small kingdoms began to pop up in the area result. the kingdoms found themselves in near constant odds with each other and never really coming to any agreements. Around 1400 AD a large nation began to rise Under Iovov Edenso and consume the other nations declaring themselves the true rulers of the region, but after their great king that united the lands died in 1434 the whole nation fell to separatists seeking to restore the old kingdoms and the area was divided again, this time into 6 different kingdoms.
1700s-1800sthe 6 kingdoms existed in a state of near peace with some minor disagreements, but in the year 1754 a violent revolution began in the kingdom of Polania where the government was overthrown and replaced with a republic. the other kingdoms fearing the new nation might insight rebellions in their own lands quickly denounced the new republic as corrupt and violent, which was very true to some extent. The fledgling republic existed with much hate from its neighbors and even other nations far away, but around 1865 rebellions began stirring in the remaining kingdoms and in the Council of 1866 the 5 remaining kingdoms agreed to create constitutional monarchies to prevent further instability and allow the region to continue to prosper.
Modern History In the year 1926 another violent revolution occurred in Polania with the population growing tired of corruption and lies from the republic along with its continual grip towards communistic economics, they overthrew the current republic and replacing it with a new one; however, this time a man named Pelschev Niesky, a war hero from the second Polanian revolution, took the role as its first president, but he abused his power and loopholes in the new constitution to declare himself Supreme leader of Polania effectively instituting a dictatorship. The same year in 1927 two neighboring kingdoms in the area attacked, but their attacks had been prepared for and their soldiers were slaughtered. Niesky took advantage of their weakened state from the failed invasions and invaded them in turn, but his conquests did not stop. After he successfully annexed the two kingdoms that tried to see him gone he looked to the other kingdoms in the region and invaded them and annexed their territory reuniting the region and establishing Polanian dominance over the region. The rest of Niesky's rule over Polania saw a rapid industrialization and economic growth under his highly pro capitalist policies and for the first time created a sense of unity among the former states, and Polanian nationalism soared. After Niesky's death a new leader was appointed from the military the nation continued to develop and is now a major trading hub of the continent.
