Title: Request for Aid
Post by: Sparta on September 01, 2017, 01:16:11 AM
To the international community,
The children of Tumaini are in great need of help. Our government is trying to combat poverty and eliminate illiteracy but we currently lack the funds to construct public schools and hospitals in all the districts of Tumaini. We humbly request for aid to help us with our mission to improve the lives of our children.

On behalf of the Global Childbirth Initiative I would like to offer support for projects in your nation. The GCI has a track record of supporting maternity health care and I am sure we can support your attempt to improve health care. As such I would like to offer the following.

1. A team of 10 midwives to come and work in your nation supporting current existing provision and helping train local community providers.

2. An invite for 20 nurses to come to East Moreland for 12 months to receive training in midwifery.

3. Funding provided by GCI and OsmanTech to support the building of a training school for midwives attached to a current University.

4. Resources to equip two mobile health clinic such as this (https://www.theguardian.com/news/2016/nov/23/enormous-pop-up-clinic-trying-bridge-americas-health-divide). This will hopefully attract international voulenteers and provide health care until such a time as permanent hospitals can be built.

We realise this does not directly solve your issue but we firmly hope that it can lead to less women dying in childbirth putting further strain on a family unit struggling with day to day life. We shall shortly be meeting with others who can hopefully add more to these projects.

Best Wishes

Matilda Osman
Patron of GCI.

DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ARSTOTZKA/ALEXANDER NOVOROG FOUNDATION

The government of Arstotzka, and entrepreneur Alexander Novorog, has been monitoring the Tumaini peoples and their struggle to live or learn, we have been deeply saddened by the amount of illiteracy and lack of GDP per Capita. The cooperation with the Novorog Foundation and the Government of Arstotzka, we would be happy to donate atleast 5 Billion Striks, split between Alex Novorog and Arstotzka. Our givings will be spent on building schools for kids, which is a main priority for our donations. We hope this donation can be beneficial for the Tumaini people, we may also revise plans of donating food and water, and even more money for services to the govenrment of Tumaini.

On behalf of Orania and Rhodesia, both President Francis E. Urquhart and I President Francis J. Underwood wish to contribute to the development and secure a better future for the children of Tumaini. Together, we'll provide the following through the "Aid to Tumaini" (ATT) programme:

- Humanitarian assistance: $127.6 million for water sanitation, hygiene, health, shelter, and infrastructure.
- Food aid: provide an annual $30 million for a multi-year food aid development program as well as almost $680 million in emergency food aid.
- Peace and security: although it may not be critical within that area, we would like to provide consultancy for educational purposes, to address the causes and effects of political conflict, violence, and instability. Civil and community organizations in Tumaini are also to be supported. A major goal is to promote participation in the civic process, consensus building, and international observation.
- Investing in people: to focuse on health by supporting mother and child health services and reducing the impact of HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, and other infectious diseases. To support training medical officers to increase access to health care and immunizations. To support education by training teachers, improve schools, and encourage parent participation in education and also promote the importance for the education for girls.
- Economic growth: by improving infrastructure for a more favorable environment for market development to attract corporations and other investors. Improved land management for areas rich in possible biodiversity is also a focus.

We hope as fellow Presidents to another, that it'll be to your liking for a better future for Tumaini; if there's anything you'd like to take away from this programme, no problem at all.

Best Regards and May Mithras Bless You,

- President Francis J. Underwood of Orania
- President Francis E. Urquhart of Rhodesia
