The President Kadassa and the government of Lakhzovia wishes to extend to you our congratulations on your appointment to the Presidency of Valokchia; it is reassuring for us to see a competent leader take the reigns of such an important neighbouring state.
For two generations the relationship between our nations has been near non-existent, in large part due to the continuing border tensions originating from the period of the United Peoples' Republic. There is no greater symbol of this breakdown in neighbourly relations that the continued division of the border city of Gretzin.
With the end of our recent civil war and the unprecedented challenge of dealing with the displaced civilians on the Lakhzov-Valokchian border the government of the Lakhzov Republic feels that it is imperative to put aside past rivalries and establish a new cooperative framework to resolve the issues facing both our states.
As such we would like to schedule a meeting between the leadership of our two countries with the aim of establishing friendlier relations and the resolution of long standing disputes.
