« on: February 06, 2019, 12:03:47 AM »
Official Invitation from the Kingdom of Vaguzia

Dear leaders of Mundus,

As you know, our King, Leonard II, has died in a terrorist attack. Now we can finally fly him home together with his wife, the Princess so we can bury him at the Temple of Qa'aim in Vallis. You are all invited to the funeral and the ceremony. Foreign (Only Royal or Imperial) Troops are also invited to take part at the ceremony, in which the foreign troops shall march as the 2nd group (After the group of Admirals, Generals and other high officers), it is tradition that foreign troops from Monarchies march along together with Vaguzian troops to pay respect to the King. We are looking forward to see you at the funeral of our King.

Signed,

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Vaguzia, Aaron Kaalit
Regent of Vaguzia, Vincenzo Delacroix-Bruguière

To Aaron Kaalit, in his Role as Prime Minister of Vaguzia:

The Empire of Neu Uburzis will send an imperial Envoy for the Funeral. We do need to ask though to elaborate on what qualifies as Imperial Troops. Our Military is sworn to the Emperor, thus technically they are all Imperial Troops.

Do only ceremonial Regiments Certify? Please elaborate further so we can assure a potential Participants of the Ceremony adhere to your Protocol.

Please accept our Heartfelt Sympathies,

Prince Albrecht of Uburzis, Regent to Emperor Orion the First

To Prince Albrecht,

I can confirm that we consider your troops as imperial. It doesnt necessarily have to be a ceremonial unit, but the troops must march in their ceremonial uniform.

To:- Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Vaguzia, Aaron Kaalit and Regent of Vaguzia, Vincenzo Delacroix-Bruguière

Let me first express our deepest condolences and sympathies to the Kingdom of Vaguzia and its people. A delegation including my presence included will be present to stand by whom we call the greatest of friends; The ones participating in our parade will be members of our Foreign Legion, specifically those of Vaguzian origin, knowng fully they couldn't be more than honored enough to show their deepest of respects as well.

Take care and God Bless,

Tsar Viktor Gough-Petrov of the Grand Principality of Krimeon

To Prime Minister Aaron Kaalit

The Kingdom of Vaguzia is very much in the thoughts of Achkaerin, the tragedy of King Leonard's death and that of his wife is something that will leave a hole. I will attend the funeral in person, and we'll show our close bond with Vaguzia through the participation of a group of soldiers from the Rockmount Rifles, presently based at camp Maelstrom in the parade.

Signed

Emperor Peter Azurewind

To Prime Minister Aaron Kaalit

I am writing on behalf of His Majesty King David III of East Moreland. He wishes me to pass on his condolences to your nation, he considered the late King a good friend to both himself and East Moreland. With present circumstances however the King has requested permission to attend via helicopter as close to the ceremony as possible due to the fact he is currently required at Ostlake for family reasons. I hope this request can be accommodated without disrupting this vital and important occasion.

May The Gods Watch Over You and Your Nation Know Peace

Quinn Germaine

Head of the Royal Household.

Reply to King David,

Yes, we will allow you to attend via helicopter as close to the ceremony as possible.

Greetings,

Head of Ceremony, Quintin Arenos

Phuebra

It was sunny day in Phuebra as King Leonard's coffin was loaded in a Vaguzian OC-150 while Vaguzian soldiers saluted him. Soon after this the coffin of Princess Anna also was loaded in and the airplane took off from Phuebran soil to fly to Vaguzia.

Vaguzia

The AC-150 now was flying in Vaguzian airspace and 4 Polrevento Quentins now intercepted the AC-150 and flew together to the Military Base of Northern Saburi where the coffin of King Leonard was loaded into a funeral car and the coffin of Princess Anne was moved to a helicopter that would bring it to the Place des Princesses where it would be buried just like all other wifes of Kings. The funeral car of King Leonard was again saluted by Vaguzian soldiers as it rode away of the base.

The car drove to the rivages of the river l'Traque where the coffin was placed on a little wooden sailing ship, the boat left towards Vallis. Just before it entered Vallis, it followed the tradition and sailed through The Passage of the Kings, one of the holiest sights of the Cult of Izra. The boat now entered Vallis and now 8 Vaguzian soldiers started carrying the coffin to the Holy Temple of Qa'aim , while they were joined by the soldiers who would march along, the coffin of Leonard would be exactly in the middle of the march.

The Soldiers now all marched on Le Saint Boulevard, which was a big boulevard which lead to the Holy Temple of Qa'aim. In front of the march all the high officers of Vaguzia were riding a horse in the ceremonial uniform, behind them the foreign royal forces of Neu Uburzis, Achkaerin and Krimeon were marching. About 20 Polrevento Quentins flew in formation over the march and then over the Holy Temple of Qa'aim   as they made the flag of Vaguzia with coloured smoke. As the coffin arrived at the Holy Temple of Qa'aim  , 15 members of the Royal Guard fired 5 salute shots in the air. After the salute shots one member of the Royal Guard played the Last Post on a trumpet while all the soldiers of the march saluted King Leonard. After the Royal Guard finished playing the Last Post, around 50 Royal Guards started playing the Vaguzian National Anthem on Trumpet. When also the national anthem was finished, the coffin was carried into the Temple

Even though Prince and Regent Vincenzo was a half brother of Leonard, he wasnt really sad about the death of Leonard, he actually more hated Leonard than that he loved him plus the fact that Leonard had always bullied him in his childhood didnt help either, if anything he was probably even a little bit glad about Leonard's death, after all, he was now the Regent of Vaguzia because of the death of Leonard.

Vincenzo looked at how the coffin was placed on an altar and the Izraïte Choir were singing Izraïte songs then he looked behind to see who would be the first Leader to walk in.

Tsar Viktor, Tsarina Catherine and the rest of the closer family of Gough-Petrov, slowly yet eloquently entered the Izräite temple, wearing traditional and appropriate attire for events such as funerals; whether they were sad, happy or even a bit of both occasion largely depended on one's approach to life and death in general. For Viktor, he had learned such complicated concepts during his younger days when his father died in a play crash, and thus the inheritance of the throne was passed on directly to Tsar Cyril's grandson. Wearing a neutral facial expression and carrying a bouquet of flowers like the rest of the family members, it changed into a miniscule smile as his eyes were set upon Prince and Vincenzo, acting Regent of Vaguzia.

Knowing fully that Vincenzo would've received hundreds of sent and expressed condolences from near and far away, the Tsar simply greeted by a simple pat on his back and naturally a 'hello'. With the Tsarina and Royal Children kissing the Regent's cheeks, Viktor came last and did the same thing, whilst whispering: "It's great to see you once more Your Highness...if you wouldn't mind regarding the tragic circumstances, we could perhaps sit down somwhere and discuss privately important matters of state, how to further entrench Krimeonite-Vaguziase relations and such." he said, waiting for Vincenzo's reply.

"Of course it would be my honour" Vincenzo said to Tsar Viktor and Tsarina Catherine as he poured in some Vaguzian wine for his first guests "Here, our finest wine from the wine farms in Northern Saburi." He showed Viktor and Catherine the way and walked with them to a room next to the big hall of the Temple. "I hope you like our temple, it is one of the oldest temples in Vaguzia, it was originally built by cultist to be a temple for Rolaf but after the the Great Religious Enlightenment in 1113, the Izraïtes took over this Temple and changed it to a temple for the Izraïte god Qa'aim, the God of the Kingdom of the Death. Through the years a lot of art has been added to this temple, which has made this temple one of the most beautiful in Vaguzia and in my opinion in all of Mundus", but enough about this Temple, what are the things you would like to discuss with me?"

A few seconds earlier Prince Théodore had arrived. Théodore, unlike his cousin Vincenzo, was very sad about the death of his other cousin Leonard, as soon as he had arrived he laid his flowers next to the coffin of Leonard and gave a little prayer to Qa'aim. Théodore had come to this funeral, with his closest friend Layla Wallace , who he had known from the time that he studied Astrophysics at the Valtheim Metropolitan University, Layla was from Valtheim and basically made sure Théodore felt at home when he had first arrived in Valtheim. "Well at least i can now show you the most beautiful city of Mundus, and this temple of course" Théodore said to Layla "Well it is decent but it isnt of course the Pantheon of the Trinity or the Temple of Namis in Valtheim" Layla replied as Théodore started laughing.
