Regarding the recent communication raising concerns about the operations undergoing in the Mhorish I wish to point out some errors in your communication and then reassure your concerns.
Our vessels are not in any waters controlled by or under the authority of Ubriekkland. We are currently in international water and shall remain there. We are acting within international recognised treaties and rest assured this will be the case unless lives begin to be lost within Ubriekkland or the government of that nation invite us into their EEZ.
Second of all you state that we must respect the sovereignty of Ubriekkland, as was announced earlier today that is exactly what we are doing. Currently our Foreign Minister Duchess Orlaith Kade is in Ubriekkland discussing the matter with local authorities in order to put in place assurances of the safety of innocent civilians and should the situation change facilitate the evacuation of refugees. These talks are just the latest step in an ongoing chain of communication between our two nations and shall continue as long as the government of Ubreikkland wish to engage with us.
Next you question the utility of drone carriers in case of evacuation. The drone carrier is exactly the kind of vessel for this type of operation. Should an evacuation need to take place the first order of any operation is to locate and identify areas capable of supporting the evacuation of those in danger. Having the use of surveillance platforms such as the drones kept on board these vessels is a must have. Once these areas have been located their must be the capability of landing numerous aircraft. While the drone carriers carry the name "drone" in their title each also carry a number of helicopters meaning they can lift off a large number of individuals. The platforms also carry a significant number of amphibious assets meaning that should the situation arise we could evacuate people from the shore line. Each of the two carriers is capable of carrying around 500 individuals and with a capability of launching boats from its rear ramp can act as a funnel to off load refugees onto other vessels including but not limited to vessels such as our Global Pre-Positioning ship for the region that could be in the area within 24 hours and capable of carrying some 1,000 individuals. Furthermore we are the only nation to utilise ground effect vehicles as part of our military in regular operations. These are capable of covering vast distances at speed and with the capacity of picking up several hundred passengers each journey. The Global Pre-Positioning ship and the Ground-Effect Vehicles however require a platform to load passengers from, the drone carrier is just one such ship. As the nation on Mundus with perhaps the most experience of refugee operations we have learned lessons from each and every operation we have carried out, these lessons helped develop the drone carrier and its procedures, we believe it is the perfect platform for the type of operation we perceive as potentially taking place. The fact that we are capable of boarding some 500 individuals per ship means we also are not carrying any armoured vehicles as normal operating procedures for the drone class usually dictate. This alone should be reassurance that we are not seeking a full blown military solution to this issue.
We hope this news reassures Heyra of the situation. East Moreland has seen Cultists targetted before globally and has learned the lesson of having previously not taken action until their murders began. We can not make that mistake again and while we have every faith the government of Ubriekkland will protect its citizens we must, as always, hope for the best but prepare for the worse.
