We wish to acknowledge the great democracy your nation have proven, through intense political debate taken in its life, making it meaningful, and good of sense, as you are neighboured by two of the most prominent monarchies. Your nation is spearheading in human rights, through free healthcare and public education, and for that I wish to salute you, as ambassador to your country.

In a spirit to honour your political system, as to fight against tyranny and oppression, I would request an invitation destinated to our D.A.D.C., Monsieur Debeauson, as to organise a visit and discover your beautiful country, alongside having the great opportunity to meet with your officials, and further develop argemonto-fleuroix relations.

KOMISARIATO PRI EKSTERLANDAJ AFEROJ
DE LA POPOLA RESPUBLIKO DE ARGEMONTO

EKSTERLANDO

Greetings,

Our nation would be delighted to host the most honorable Monsieur Debeauson in our capital. I suppose a tour around the city, visiting the historically relevant sights followed by an official meeting in the Red Tower with other officials of the State Council would be fitting? For the evening I recommend a visit of the state orchestra. This season they are performing music by Geroldo, a classic Argemontese composer of the 19th century who also happened to be a fervent advocate of republicanism during the brief period of Argemontese monarchy.

We hope for a soon arrival of the honorable Gentleman and for productive and friendly interaction between both of our nations.

Sincerely,

Julia Delgato
Commissar of Foreign Affairs

After the visit in Jugland, now was the time to visit another nation, which seems friendly to democracy, even if Debeauson and most fleuroix had growing concerns over it, because of the socialist and almost communist tendencies it may have. Yet it could be a great and trustful ally. Great constrains on economy would naturally be problematic, but since political, and individual freedom were checked cases, it was a good judgement to consider Argemonto as a C2 nation, granting it benefits in the bilateral relations with Fleur.

The Breça Concorde would see its use increased, as it would be the plane carrying Debeauson, still causing him the same concentration and headache issues. Fortunately the trip would be shorter than Fleur-Jugland one than Jugland-Argemonto one.

The plane would land without any issues, and the usual welcoming committee would be set up, respectively a red carpet, waiting at the end of it, the local Ambassador, in this case Monsieur l’Ambassadeur Gaël Mathieu Anthony Jobert. The red carpet was flanked by one side, of a contingent of guards from the Garde Républicaine, and the other, other guards, however forming an orchestra, all quiet for now. The symbolism there continually stood, as to remind him, wherever he would go, the Constitution, incarnated by the Garde Républicaine, which only reported and pledge loyalty to it, was above everything and everyone. Fleuroix and argemonto flags were flying in the wind, as Debeauson took the stairs, and went on the red carpet, as an officer would order loudly, « Présentez, armes ! », letting the contingent of guards show their sabers. Debeauson would stop at the middle of the red carpet, having in vision Jobert, yet slightly turning to face the orchestra, which would play the salute. After finished, he could at last see and greet Jobert.

« My dear, how are things going? » he asked as he shook hands.

« Welcome to Argemonto Monsieur le Directeur. Very well, the argemonteses officials are also there to welcome you » indicated Jobert, as he slightly turned to let Debeauson see his argemontese counter-parts.

Delgato had been looking forward to the visit of the fleuroix director. It was not often that her nation was treated with such seemingly sincere diplomatic interest. Especially not from capitalist nations.
She watched the welcoming protocol of the Fleuroix ambassador and when they had finished approached the Director.

"Bienvenue a la Montagne d'Argent! I hope that was right. Please follow me." she said shaking Debeauson's hand

Once they arrived at the Argemontese music corps, first the fleuroix anthem was played then the argemontese one, during which Delgato formed a fist and rose it as a salute. After that both officials continued to walk on the red carpet to the sound of the Argemontese presentation march and entered their cars to leave the airport.

Delgato and Debeauson met again inside the city of Rugaturo.

"Again welcome in Argemonto. We are all very happy to have you here. I'll now be showing you around Rugaturo. Sadly the press and Mrs. Benno await us in an hour at the Red Tower so we will only have limited time. While Rugaturo is only the political and not the cultural capital of Argemonto the city has still much to offer"

Delgato lead Debauson around the street accompanied by some security. The two rarely encountered small groups of people who did not show much interest for them.

"You have to know, Rugaturo is a planned city. It was constructed with the intention to make it the center of political and economic decisions. Around 65% of its inhabitants are officials, most others are working for the press. We are currently in an area which might already be known to you: the ambassador quarter. I think we cannot quite see from here but somewhere down this road your nation has its embassy I believe. Anyway, shall e continue?"

The cars proceeded to drive futher into the city. The image of the city changed. While all buildings in the ambassador square had looked architecturally plus but still modest, housing only maybe a few dozens of officials
These office buildings were colossal. The cars stopped before an especially big building, almost a skyscraper with a big sign saying "KOROMED". Nervous-looking people wearing suits scurry through the streets everywhere.

"As you might have noticed we are now in the economy quarter, perhaps the biggest quarter of Rugaturo. All state owned companies have their center of operations here. We are currently standing in front of KOROMED the state owned company for the production of pharmaceuticals. The building has recently been renovated and looks quite impressive I think. Over there we have the base of operations of Stanutrakav Argemonto's company for agricultural goods" Delgato clears her throat "Might need a new coat of paint doesn't it" she says smiling "Now lets continue"

The cars proceed to leave area. The environment changes again. Opulent modern buildings give way to seemingly historical ones which have been tastefully renovated. The cars stop at an avenue lined with statues.

"We are now finally in the heart of Rugaturo. Over there" -she points at the end of the avenue- "we have the Red Tower. Seat of the government of Argemonto. Before the revolution the building was a church named Sankta Arnoldo. It was surrounded by a trader town of the same name. Since our great revolution started here with the bombardment of the church in which Argemonto's king hid the later socialist administration chose to build the capital around it. The remains of the church were rebuilt as a monument of socialism and as our government building"

Delgato pulled out a silver pocket watch, looked at it and rose an eyebrow.

"Time's fleeting, maybe we should walk the avenue. Look over there, the honor guard is already waiting"

On each side of the avenue there are statues of famous socialist and communist leaders and thinkers, some Argemontese some not. Once Delgato and Debeauson arrived at the Red Tower the press started shooting photos. Director Franziska Benno approached the two officials and greets them"

"Saluton Sinjorina Delgato! Bonjour Monsieur! Let's not loose time, please follow me into my office."

They go straight through a corridor. The walls are decorated with red banners and Argemontese flags. All three sit down in Benno's office along with her entourage of government officials.

« Dankon » said Debeauson, as he shook hands with Delgato, « Thank you for welcoming me » he added in fleuroix, with ambassador Jobert translating the meaning in argemontese, before letting both advance further on the red carpet, for the photographers and journalists to enjoy the look. Both would stop-by in the middle, and listen to both nation’s anthems rigidly.

Following such, and being led into Rugaturo, the capital city, he’d listen careful to the introduction made by Madame Delgato. After being translated by Ambassador Jobert, Debeauson would interact, « I am certain Rugaturo have much to offer, and be certain I’ll have all the necessary time after the meeting to fully enjoy for half a day your marvelous city, a part of your country, before having to depart » added with a smile Debeauson.

« I see it’s well a beautifully planned city, that reminds me Cœur, which was also built from scratch fully for governmental purposes, with its beautiful fleuroix classical architecture, just like our embassy, it’s the signature of our people » said with a great pride Debeauson, as he observed the newly arranged area for him, with the ambassador quarter. « The architecture is very much refined and admirable » he’d observe enjoying more and more the thin elegant style of the city he had before him. « So this is where you work most of the time Monsieur Jobert? » addressed to the fleuroix ambassador Debeauson.

« Yes… And it’s quite a comforting city to live in » would compliment Jobert, giving a glance at Delgato.

They definitely were in a hurry, as Monsieur Delgato just spearheaded the tour, showing many accomplishment, from the great economic area with the great economic center of operations of an incredible amount of companies, it showed well how much Rugaturo had centralised power, something that had many downsides, but also some positive effects probably… The honouration of famous socialist and communist leaders and thinkers, was a bit too heavy to Debeauson’s taste, even if in some countries they did such for monarchs after all… He hesitated as to what to think about it, knowing it was about an ideology, and not some common background as to represent the history of their nation, something he was surprised, and careful to think with. However, at last, they would arrive at the Red Tower, welcomed by an army of journalists, before Debeauson would catch the glimpse of Director Benno.

« Direktoro de la Ŝtata Konsilio Benno, Madame » addressed Debeauson, as he tried his best accent, except for the end of the sentence, he bowed slightly, « Thank you for your warm welcome » addressed with a smile Debeauson, before being hurried once more seemingly and now finding themselves into an office, down a highly decorated in patriotic manners corridor.

The office of Director Benno is a simple yet elegant room. On one wall there is a big painting of a mountainous landscape. Another wall is decorated with portraits of former Presidents and Directors. However one portrait doesn't quite fit in. It's clearly a portrait of a monarch in a triumphant pose. The doors to the office are now closed behind the guests by two guards in dark red coats.

"Please sit down, a little refreshment perhaps?"

She goes to a small table in the corner of the office, grabs a bottle and two glasses. As she returns to her desk, she opens the bottle and fills up four glasses. The bottles label is simplistic. A dark red label with golden letter saying "Likvaoro"

"Now what exactly does the great nation of Fleur have to offer, or rather what do we have to offer them?" She leans foward a bit on her chair "We are not usually approached by other nations in such a friendly manner I have to say. Please, tell us what you have in mind!" she says smilingly and puts off her glasses.

Debeauson would take the time to admire the office he had been welcomed in, he’d give a rapid glimpse at Jobert, as it seems the ambassador too was discovering this new place.

« Certainly » would address Debeauson, turning his eyes back to their host, having caught back his attention, for refreshments. « I am willing to try an argomonteses speciality » he said in a good mood, as Jobert proceeded with the translation.

Debeauson would take a glance at the bottle that Benno was maneuvering with, « It’s excellent » commented Jobert as he saw Debeauson’s curiosity being most picked.

They’d all seat, having taken their glass, before Benno putting her feet into the plate as they say in fleuroix. The directness of her question surprised Debeauson, « I must admit to be caught off-guard your Excellency » added amused Debeauson with a smile, with Jobert as always translating his words. « I am glad you do recognise our most friendly approach towards your great nation » he kick-started, hesitating a bit, but then finally jumping in, « You are the only nation, with the Heyran Republic, in Alba Karinya to be true democracies, and respecting liberty decently, following the fleuroix categorisation system of nations, I am most tempted to say that you are “C2” » said Debeauson, with a cordial and warm tone. « We are looking to strengthen the relationship between our nations, we do naturally have a few things in mind, mostly in the cultural, educational alongside, potentially militaro-economic, to tell you fully plainly » added Debeauson, hoping to have served Benno’s curiosity, as Jobert continued his work as translator. « Plus to add all of this, we are greatly concerned for you and your people for what happened at Proksi Cevalo, we are glad that no one was harmed, and we were hoping that we may financially help you to repair the caused damages » continued Debeauson, having a history as Director to have drastically increased the foreign help budget on the condition it was used to buy fleuroix services and products. « We’d also be willing to help you solve the electricity supply… Permanently » he’d conclude, giving a glance at Jobert as he’d need to rightly translate this point, and make understand, from the fleuroix expertise in nuclear powerplants, the implicit proposal.

"We would be most interested in cultural interchange. In the educational sector however we have to be careful. To ensure an equal level of education schools are completely operated by the state. However perhaps you would be interested in funding the first Argemontese institute for fleuroix language and culture? Maybe then in 30 years the State Council's Director will even be able to communicate with you in your own language!

In addition our ministry of education and culture, since it just got its finds increased, could organise exchange programs and possibly even school trips to Fleur. Students would surely profit from such activities. We Argemontese do not leave our nation often and quite frankly I think it is a pity. Of course fleuroix students would also be warmly welcomed in Argemonto.

Now let's go on to military and economic affairs. I hope to not disappoint you but at the moment we are not interested in buying or selling any weapons, neither are we interested in military pacts or alliances. Our
interest in economic affairs and trade however depends on what you nation has to offer. I hope you understand that since our economy is mostly planned we have to protect our market vigorously. Therefore trade deals are signed on a case by case basis by a dedicated ministry.

I happily accept your offer to help with the damages in Proksi Cevalo. Once the case is closed and the repairs can start we will come back to your offer."

"Now-"she takes a sip from her glass, leans forward a bit and slightly squints her eyes "-what do you mean by solving electricity supply permanently?"

As soon as he was translated it, Debeauson would jump, « We’d be delighted to finance the education of the youth, and help you run the Argemontese institute for fleuroix language and culture », having already a few ideas in mind onto how to proceed and help them the best.

« If legislation can be passed to welcome Fleuroix students among the people of Argemonto, it would be a formidable milestone for us. We currently have legislation, offering foreign students the same generosity that we do to our citizens, in hope that with VISA facilitation we’d negotiate such if you were to agree, for our bilateral nations » commented Debeauson on the situation of education.

« Naturally, and we do all hope that the need of weapons is useless, until unfortunately one day it no longer is » Debeauson clarified his position, « And the funds for helping financially the repairs of Proksi Cevalo are available as rapidly as it shall suits you » he eased, all while Jobert would continue translation.

« As for the permanent… Solution » would go on Debeauson, focusing all his attention on Benno’s eyes, which he liked very much, wondering what closer they looked like, in deeper details, « Your neighbour, Vaguzia is a great uranium producer, so are we, which is most useful for 3rd generations nuclear centrals, which not only have the advantage of costing much less CO2 than renewable energies, but also, thanks to strategic uranium stocks, may hold longer, and fortunately, ensure that in a smaller yet more densely secured space, a great amount of energy is created, supplying an entire nation. We currently have 25 3rd generation, said +, planned, which shall power our entire nation. Such technology also cannot easily get sabotaged, nor is unreliable » said plainly Debeauson, letting Benno see the potential perhaps of those. « We are naturally ready to export such great piece of technology, which grants great national independence alongside national prestige, to friends such as you » admitted Debeauson.

"I'm pretty sure the coalition would agree to offer Fleuroix students a stay in Argemonto. It's the import of nuclear power plants that could be more problematic but I'm confident we will convinve the Reform Party of this great project" she said smilingly.

"Now that we have everything settled. One last thing before we move to setting up a treaty. How do you think we should handle the situation in Hassfurt. I'm sure Fleur has also realized that their system is extremely problematic and could use an intervention of some sort.  My government will start inviting Hassfurtians as refugees soon. Maybe if we could start a joint effort, the results will be even better?"

« That is marvelous » added with a smile Debeauson at the statement, and mostly the perspective of having for the first time, the possibility of maybe having a nation interested by 3rd generation nuclear reactors. Most of Mundus was investing on oil, or useless and expensive renewable energy which wasn’t a solution. Finding an ally on nuclear energy, would prove most useful into continuing the development of the next generation of reactiors, and fleuroix uranium production. « Last question on that, would you agree also, to the opening of school, and perhaps more consulates in Argemonto, as to promote cooperation between our nations, the same as a museum exchange process? » added Debeauson, wondering, after all those were insignificant steps, but they’d allow further connection between the people of Argemonto and Fleur, knowing more deeply of one another.

Once this matter settled, the question over Hassfurt would interest most Debeauson, « Yes I agree, it is a growing concern, which is why we have expressed our great disatisfaction, and condemned the act. Under our categorisation system, they already are placed under sanctions, and I am delighted that your government think so too », he’d mark a break thinking, « A joint statement is a great idea. If you wish, we’d also enjoy the idea of helping you, following their wishes, to dispatch refugees into implementing in Fleur if you have too many, or need help for helping them creating new lives » added Debeauson.

"As long as these dedicated schools are run and operated by the state and follow the national curriculum for the most part I see no reason to decline. I also agree to the projects mentioned to further improve the bilateral understanding and relationship of our nations."

Benno smiled, seemingly delighted by the idea of cooperation between Fleur and Argemonto concerning the Hassfurtian matter. Hassfurt had long been a thorn in the side of socialist Argemonto. The display of such extreme racism and classism had always disgusted Benno and many others in Argemonto alike.
"My government and I would be really thankful for your support in this matter. Indeed I think a joint statement might send the right message"

« When you mean dedicated are run by the state, you mean our state naturally? » wondered Debeauson, as if the answer was obviously yes, but wished to be certain and not create any qui pro quo for those which would be in charge of the project after the meeting, specially the Ambassador Jobert. « And I am delighted » said with a great smile of admiration, to the acceptance of the two other projects with his counterparts.

« Perfection. We can have our teams work on a joint communiqué if you wish, and also affirm our stance in the press conference following our meeting. Barbarians methods are a thing of the past, and I am truly admirable of the people of Argemonto for being among the very few to pass through » added Debeauson.
