KING WILL CONTINUE "ON PATH" FOLLOWING CLYSPERIS STATEMENT Following statements made in the Clysperis Media where the Pharoah was reduced to name calling against King Heydar the monarch has made his own statement.
"I am saddened that the Pharoah has stooped to this point. At no point during my reign have I seen fit to even attempt to degrade a monarch of another nation. Perhaps the worse that can be said of me is that I refused to comment on her response regarding the situation with the Unified Iwi, if that is enough to make her angry then I apologise however we reject her notions of us looking for a schism. Despite all that has been levelled at us by the Pharoah we have never ceased to seek to work with those around us including her own nation. We have this week signed a trade agreement with Altromine, allowing even the construction of Temples to Aten, a deity that Altromine connect to the Pharoah, if we wished her harm or had evil in mind regarding her we would not have permitted this worship that will elevate her. Later today having meet with officials from Altromine I fully intend to support their admission to the Oil (and Gas) Producing Exporting Nations (OPEN) organisation and we look forward to working with them. Add to this with our friends in Waddan we have worked to help connect them with the rest of the world by working with Tamora to build a modern airport, in the next few days we will open with the Sultan of Waddan a construction known as Waddan Blue, a similar concept to the Blue project we have constructed in Ipsus to promote economic co-operation across Mid-Aranye. We then have our deep ties with Tamora, my sister now a member of their Royal Family, Emperor Abbas holding territory as a noble of Tamora and honouring me with a Dukedom in his own lands. We have completed a tremendous number of ground breaking projects together. We have built one of, if not the largest, rechargeable batteries factory in the world staffed equally between our nations, a factory so big it physically stands either side of our border. We have welcomed Tamorans into Blue, they purchased part of the Palm, we became the first nation to my knowledge to develop an entirely electric land combat vehicle. When pilgrims of the Manist faith in Lakhzovia were banned from direct travel to Tamora it was Royal Seleucid who offered ourselves as a travel corridor to ensure pilgrimages could continue. This catalogue of example to me do not scream of a nation that is forcing a schism in Mid-Aranye.
Now while on the surface it may seem that perhaps we are ignoring Clysperis and this has been far from the case. When their nation was rocked by civil war we did not send troops, we did not feel that appropriate or necessary with Achkaerin, Dragovia and Tamora sending troops. It is my hope however the Pharoah has since been made aware of several things we did do. When nations from Southern Ardia threatened to get involved it was Royal Seleucid who made clear in no uncertain terms that any Ardian forces trying to head to the Clysperis would be halted by the Seleucid military. When war made Clysperis citizens homeless we offered refuge, we sent food and supplies via Clysperis to ensure no-one was without as far as possible. We switched production of our all electric combat vehicle to allow Tamora to have the whole of the production run so it could be pressed into service. We permitted our revolutionary airfield construction methods to be used to help operations. Since the end of that war we have offered Clysperis access on equal terms with Tamora to our projects at both Blue and the KHELPS, none of which have been accepted, those invitations remain open. Alongside Tamora we have both taken money from our own people to support victims of the civil war in Clysperis through the 4C Charity which gives 10% of the Gigafactory money to their nation. I would therefore argue that between ourselves and the rest of Mid-Aranye their is no schism just ever greater co-operation which we would be delighted if Clysperis joined us in."
The King is due to travel to Waddan for the opening of Waddan Blue in the next few days. The visit will mark the first visit of a Head of State to Waddan in living memory and will also allow the King to visit the Banu Lakh tribe which are the only one in Waddan which follows the Anahitaism faith. It is expected that some Priestesses will travel with the King having volunteered to act as missionaries to replace the recently murdered Dana and Soraya. Following a memorial service for the two girls a reported 180 Priestesses from across the nation have volunteered to travel to Waddan however King Heydar explained, "Sadly the Banu Lakh tribe are as of yet small in number. Perhaps should our nations faith spread we may need more volunteers however at the moment sending so many would be overkill. We are proud to support our brothers and sisters in faith through their journey to embrace the Goddess and shall continue to do so." It is also expected that during the visit to Waddan the King will spend time in the desert travelling with the tribe.
