A Letter to Himeyama
« on: January 08, 2018, 07:25:06 PM »

The Kingdom of Vaguzia
Ministry of Foreign Affairs

To The Syndicated Confederacy of Himeyama,

Considering our two nations are practically neighbours and also both having an healthy and prosperous economy, it is a shame our two countries have not got any real diplomatic ties yet. We see great chances in working together with your country in both economic and military ways. We also think it is necessary to work together to strengthen our position in the Mhorish Sea. We would therefore like to have our Prime Minister, Xavier Jésus to visit your nation to set up diplomatic ties between our two nations.

Signed by,

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Vaguzia, Xavier Jésus
King of the Kingdom of Vaguzia, Leonard Delacroix II
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Vaguzia, Angelo Ximo

To the Kingdom of Vaguzia

Coming into the new year, it's important for us to remember that we have many diplomatic ties to uphold, Vaguzia being an important, but somewhat neglected one. Himeyama and Vaguzia, despite being brothers-in-arms during the war in the Mhorish Sea, and a short boat ride away from one another, haven't truly solidified ties and worked together to make the Mhorish region a prosperous part of Mundus.

We will happily accept your offer to have His Excellency, Prime Minister Xavier Jésus come on a state visit to Eizomutsu, the capital city of the Tsuyariko Province. There are some things I personally wish to discuss going forward into the new year with our honourable Vaguzian friends.

Signed,

Shiina Musashi
Premier Executive Administrator of Himeyama

Kusae-Iwara, Eizomutsu, Tsuyariko

Eizomutsu famously enjoyed a light snowfall during the mild Himeyan winter months, it was the sort of winter you could easily throw on a coat and go enjoy yourself outside during the long nights, without having to worry about your fingers getting too cold. One could see the steam rising from Eizomutsu's many world-renowned hot springs as they walked the small city at night. Premier Musashi walked through the long hallway leading to the Kusae Iwara Airport's airstrip, the building was consciously designed to mimic the classical Himeyan architecture that Eizomutsu was famous for, with a modern twist. The floor beneath her feet was a series of thick glass panels that showed off the river that ran under the building, lit up just well enough to see fish swimming through; the roof on the other hand was lit by hundreds of glass cubes taking the vague form of traditional paper lanterns.

Hearing the distinct screeching of jet engines closing in, she hurriedly finished the last drops of her spiced green tea and made her way outside.

The plane made a quite hard landing, which was not suprising considering the weather conditions. Xavier Jésus was from the province of Verdia which was basically the hottest region in Vaguzia, so snow was a quite special thing for him. When Xavier was in the plane he already saw a blink of Himeyama and he had to admit that Himeyama, touched by the snow, looked absolutely beatiful. From the moment that Xavier stepped out of the plane, he realised that snow also had a downside: it was very bloody cold. While Xavier was walking down the stairs, he almost fell because it was quite slippery. Xavier now finally had walked down the stairs and he walked towards Musashi "Good day, Premier Musashi, it is so nice to finally meet you"
