Major Cities - Harbordale The largest city at 600,000 and also the capitol is Harbordale, which resides on the Victoria coastline. The city majorly resides on a peninsula; jotting out into the Bay of Liberty with bridges connecting it to the mainland as well as the peninsula itself. The city is home to several miles of beaches, a bustling commercial center, Cascadia's national government and Victoria's state government.
GovernmentThe city is overseen by a Council, with no overseeing 'mayor' - This is not a coincidence, with Harbordale's position as home to the national government and Victoria's state government, the city charter is intentionally ran by a council of five members (each elected from a district) to avoid having a single executive figure in a city with a governor and the nation's Premier.
Emergency ServicesHarbordale as the largest city respectly carries the nation's largest municipal police force at 3,400. Emergency Medical Services are handled by the Harbordale Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, which handles all emergency medical services and heavy rescue. Fire suppression is handled by the Harbordale Fire Department. Several detachments of Cascadian Mounted Police are present, with the primary duties of protecting national government locations as well as the Premier.
