The First Empire has long viewed all Ardian states as her friends and, as one of the youngest nations upon our continent, I believe it is long overdue that our Peoples establish more formal and cordial relations. If it would so interest you I would wish to head a delegation to the Free Nations of Sirinisi to lay a foundation of friendship and cooperation, opening the door to a most mutually beneficial and prosperous relationship. The opportunity to visit your nation would be an honour, as would standing alongside you and your People as a friend and partner.

Austrana arrives in the Free Nations of Sirinisi

The voyage to the Free Nations of Sirinisi had been most relaxing, the purr of Austrana's engines nearly lulled Beatrice into a nap quite a few times as she conversed with Pyrena via video link. Cole had been working with Rowe in the weeks leading up to the transfer of power within Imperial High Command, a fact which comforted Beatrice in light of the failure which was the transfer of power to the traitor, Ichinose. Working the traitors out of the woodwork had been an increasingly successful endeavour, and one which would be more successful through working with Vicegerent Ravenswood.

Upon arrival word was sent to their hosts that the Empress had arrived and would disembark the Imperial Yacht upon receiving further instruction.

Rosasoro Dsatea was again chosen to welcome their foreign visitor for the first time as the rest prepared the residence and all the rest of the establishments under the charge and care of the Triarchy. Meanwhile, as Rosasoro Dsatea waited at the port for the guests to leave their yacht and make their way to dry land, the dark skinned Triarch who was dressed in a pair of khaki shorts and a sleeveless Tee Shirt due to the heat of the day, also wearing a baseball cap to protect her head, stood close to the main welcoming structure that was close to the part of the part that the ship stopped.

Beatrice made her way from the Austrana gracefully, bowing as she approached her hosts. The heat never bothered her much as she could be just as content on a winter day as she was on a summer day, the advantages of experiencing a variety of climates during her younger years. "I am Empress Beatrice of Rokkenjima, and it is my sincerest pleasure to meet you," she said as she rose. Presenting her hosts with a velvet-lined box she continued, "As is our tradition I present to you this bottle of Pyrenan Mead, brewed at Pyrena Castle from the honey of bees raised on the grounds of the Castle."

As she often did she took in the sights, sounds and aromas of this new country. Although a fellow Ardian nation the continent was so vast that all manner of climate and geography could be found depending upon where you were. She would look forward to welcoming them to Rokkenjima at a future date so that she, too, could share this experience with them in kind.

Rosasoro was not alone of course. Although she was the official who would greet them, her guards waited nearby. Together as one they marched until they were facing the Empress and saluted her as best as they could. They were a squad of guards, each armed with AR-05s or LMG-4s. The Empress could see that the officer was a man but his men were all women. Rosasoro nodded to the Empress as the officer bowed and offered the Empress his sword.

The Empress herself could see that the sword was in its sheath and written on the sheath was Sirinisian. The Triarch explained

"It means 'With warm welcoming hearts, we withdraw from ourselves this sword into your waiting hands.' Please accept it, dear Empress, as our gift. Welcome to Sirinisi."

The Triarch then accepted the gift of the Empress and told her "I thank you, Dear Empress, for this gift. Our country is honored to have this gift."

"And we are honoured to receive yours in kind," Beatrice said with a smile. "I don't often visit the northern shores of Ardia, but when I do in the future I will be certain to add Sirinisi as one of Austrana's stops. It is quite breathtaking. I certainly look forward to learning more about your nation and people, while also laying the groundwork for what I hope shall be a strong friendship between our nations and peoples. After the unfortunate setbacks facing the Trans-Ardian Railway, we'll have to find other methods of bridging the gaps between our nations in the mean time."

Rosasoro could only shake her head at the mentioning of the railway. What a shame, she thought. But she looked forward to something new with the Empress and said "I welcome that, my dear Empress. Anyway, it is best that we depart from here. Will you allow me to have the honor of escorting you personally to our residence? There, we may meet the other Triarchs and see what we can do together from there." She then nodded again with respect and told her "On the other hand, the Sirinisians are curious to know if there is an agreement that we all could create so that our nations may benefit. Will you be willing to discuss such a proposal?

"Certainly," Beatrice said to her proposal of escort. "I have come here with a mind open to any proposals you may wish to make, as well as some of my own, toward the mutual benefit of our nations. I look forward to sharing those ideas, as well as listening to anything you may have in mind as well. I'm sure there's many areas we could cooperate in, while building strong economic and diplomatic ties in the process."

The Triarch smiled at that and firmly invited her guests to come with them. She led the way, her guards following and flanking the guests. The Triach spoke as she brought them to the waiting vehicles "If I may begin, the Sirinisians have some interest in the world beyond their borders. We are seeking out friends and allies. We hope to offer whatever we could to secure such things and in doing so, we pray our relationships would last." Once they got to the vehicles, she smiled as she asked them "Would you like to sit with me or perhaps have the honor of riding a...more awesome vehicle?"

"I"m intrigued by this awesome vehicle," Beatrice replied, her interests gained. "Do show me; much of my travel is by way of the Imperial Yacht or Imperial Concorde so the opportunity for new experiences is something I'll never turn down. I only hope that I may return the favour," she continued with a grin.
