Announcement Regarding Upcoming 'White League' Military Exercise

As agreed and stipulated by 'White League'[1] member nations, the first of annual military exercises are to take place in a short notice. The overall premise is the employment of military resources belonging to the Ecclesiastical State and her allies in training for military operations, either exploring the effects of warfare or testing strategies without actual combat. This also serves the purpose of ensuring the combat readiness of garrisoned or deployable forces prior to deployment from home base / home station.

With almost immediate effect, WL member states will depart from their bases of origin and venture to the allied Republic of Muneski, specifically speaking the Island of Nuneski as displayed and marked red above. The exercise shall last 16 days and feature Army, Air and Naval forces, with rapid action taking place between the amphibious forces present. There shall also be defense and security convention held in the Muneski capital city of Lonport, between the ministers of defence and related military personnel, with topics including concepts, procedures, systems, equipment and tactics. The Norman allies participating in question include the Kingdom of Quintelia and the Republic of Miteravia, to name a few.

We shall do all within reason to stay clear of trade routes and in particular respect the national borders of the Lodjain Queendom, the nation in question an important and valuable CNN ally of the Ecclesiastical State as well as a integral Albionite regional partner. In the spirit of friendship and regional co-operation we invite the nations of Albion to send ten observers to be embedded with the various forces as observers.

If there are further inquiries, questions and concerns don't hesitate to ask the HSPO.

Greg Burke, Director of the Holy See Press Office

General Audience, 27.06.2018

Catechesis of the Holy Father

Greetings in various languages

Greetings to the sick and disabled in the Paul VI Hall

This morning’s General Audience took place at 9.40 a.m. in St. Peter’s Square, where the Holy Father Peter II met with groups of pilgrims and faithful from ES and all over the world. Before proceeding to Saint Peter’s Square, the Pope met with various groups of sick and disabled people in the Paul VI Hall. In his address in Italian the Pope continued his cycle of catechesis on the Commandments, focusing on the theme “God’s love precedes the law and gives it meaning” (Bible reading: from the Book of Deuteronomy, 4, 32-35). After summarising his catechesis in several languages, the Holy Father addressed special greetings to the groups of faithful present. The General Audience concluded with the recital of the Pater Noster and the Apostolic Blessing.

Ordinary Public Consistory for the creation of 14 new Cardinals, 28.06.2018

At 16.00 today, in the Vatican Basilica, the Holy Father Peter II held an Ordinary Public Consistory for the creation of 14 new cardinals, for the imposition of the biretta, the consignment of the ring and the assignment of the Title or Diaconate. The celebration began with the greeting, prayer and reading of a passage from the Gospel according to Mark (10: 32-45). The Pope then pronounced his homily. The Holy Father then read the formula for the creation of cardinals and solemnly pronounced the names of the new cardinals, announcing the presbyteral or diaconal order. The rite continued with the profession of faith of the new cardinals before the people of God and the oath of fidelity and obedience to Pope Peter II and his successors. The new cardinals, following their order of creation, kneeled before the Holy Father, who imposed upon them the cardinals’ zucchetto and the berretta, consigned the ring and assigned to each one a church of Celestis as a sign of participation in the Pope’s pastoral care for the city. After the consignment of the Bull of the creation of cardinals and the assignment of the title or diaconate, the Holy Father Peter II exchanged an embrace of peace with each new cardinal.

With immediate effect the payments made by the former Pope to several nations governments will halt. It is estimated that papal funds of at least a billion a year were given to several nations with no conditions attracted. As such these payments are not consistent wuth the new direction of the Catholic Church. This funding shall instead be given to NGOs assessed to best be able to improve the life of the poorest.
