Townsend, a former Red Legionnaire, held the attack off using an old hunting rifle, pistol and at the very end his sword despite having been severely wounded. His actions prevented an attack on a nearby royal estate and saved the lives of his grandchildren. Two years later he was shot again stopping an armed robbery in a local bank and despite being shot twice in the stomach and once in the leg prevented the thief from escaping. |

He was a gifted scientist at school but choose to serve in the military as he feared that as a non-Morelander native the family would always be seen as outsiders until they had served the nation. He was a gifted Logistics NCO dealing largely in NBC specialist units. In 2006 he attempted to join Red Legion and failed, however he was then head hunted to join a unit specialising in "Special Duties" this saw him deal often with Red Legion and he planned the initial infiltration into Safraen at the start of the crisis there. When the Nightwitches were formed by Redfern he was recruited because of his family loss in Freestone, a desire to end the Borlanders and his expertise with complex logistics operations. |

She saw Redfern as an ideal role model for how to escape the poverty and degregation of that area of the city and so embraced a career in the military from a young age. Her parents were determined to help her go to University if she got the grades and so worked extra hours which meant they actually ended up earning too much to qualify her for a full scholarship. Her parents continued making as many savings and as much money as possible to get her through her studies, Hope even worked part time as a tutor to High School students to get through. She also was a member of the University Air Squadon. She graduated as an officer in the Air Force alongside Sophie Harrison-Ironside, also winning the Air Commodore's medal for graduating as best Officer Cadet. She is about to begin her pilots training with 6 Squadron, known affectionately as the Flying Can Openers because of the units anti-armour specialism. |

At basic training however he became interested in all things that go "BOOM" and ended up working with what is effectively the bomb disposal team. He worked his way up to Sergeant and after winning the Distinguished Combat Medal for his actions Seaforth disposing of IED's and assuming command of his unit after their officer was wounded he was nominated for officer training. | Biography | One of the most trusted of King David's ambassadorial appointments as they served in the Alpine Cadre together. In 2011 James lost his lower right leg during a routine patrol when an IED exploded. He founded the Legionnaire Legacy charity which helped injured veterans overcome their injuries as well as the Battle Back programme which sees sport used as a rehabilitation process. He was knighted in 2014 for this work and has continued to support the charity. He was sent to Lodja by King David and helped form the bonds that saw the creation of the CNN. |

| Biography | A man who has dedicated his life to serving East Moreland, he is in fact the Shield Father to King David III and was also in many ways a keen part in the King's diplomatic education. He has always been rather straight to the point in his diplomatic dealings and has steered East Moreland through several key talks overseas. She is also a keen photographer and used to submit stories and photos for local print media since the age of 12. During the Regency Crisis she was on a placement at a local EMTV studio in Roberton when the station was stormed by troops loyal to King David. She helped the King set up for a broadcast to the people of the nation however the message was cut almost instantly, she did however use her mobile phone and social media to get the message out. She was awarded the Moreland Cross for her role in helping the King. Since then she has graduated from University and found securing a role with EMTV simple thanks to her connection to the Crisis. | Biography | Since an early age she was extremely devout and would often spend much of her free time in the various Temples in the Temple District sketching. She attended University to become a Priestess and was considered very highly by the senior leadership of the faith. She however begun to get disenchanted with the faith when King David's sister Princess Joanna was made High Priestess of the Cult of Helus. It was then that she began dedicating her time to creating a new modern guide to the faith during which time she had a revolation about the Cult. She determined that the faith had in fact twisted itself and that Helus was in fact female, Marissa male and that Riamond Unasson (the most beloved human) is the actual offspring of the two Gods. She also firmly believes that the Ironside family are direct descendants of Unasson and as such Denman believes the royals should be accountable for the future of the family line. | Biography | Through her youth she was always a tom boy and a keen member of the Air Cadets. She naturally wanted to join the Air Force and ended up serving as an Intelligence Officer for 8 years. During her basic training she became more "girly" as she puts it and got interested in fashion. She earned a reputation among her fellow young officers for spending most of her wages on designer gear. She also began a small sideline making custom dresses for friends. | Biography | Grew up around the servents of the royal family as her father spent his life since the age of 18 serving in the royal household, first as a stablehand following national service with the Cavalry until he became the Royal Chamberlain. Henrietta was lucky enough to be supported through her education by King Sven (King David's father) who recognised her as academically gifted and arranged for her to attend a private school. She was fascinated by other nations and their cultures and development and specialised in Anthropology intending to spend her life travelling and researching. She however found herself being drawn to follow her father's footsteps more or less and entered royal service first with the Council of Culture which was responsible for organising the nations major events such as the Festival of Greenflowers. She was then appointed as a government minister where she hoped to make people with similar interests to her have an easier time pursuing studies. As such alongside King David they created the Cultural Exchange Treaty Organisation. Following the resignation of Sir Harry Samuelson the King offered her the position of Prime Minister. She has remained single for much of her life, something she puts down to being a workaholic while others believe it is because in her mid 20's she was engaged to a young army officer who died in a boating accident and in many ways she never recovered. |

| Biography | At a young age her parents moved her into a religious commune known as the Fellowship of Helus. They believed that to truly live in the way Helus wants humanity to do life must be simple and more intune with the way our ancestors lived. The Fellowship also believed that the bloodline of Raimond Unasson was infact holy and must be expanded and protected. Her parents both died of illness, sadly the Fellowship shunned outsiders and lacked health care, leaving her to be raised for most of her life by the Commune's matriarch. In 2015 the escapee prisoner Prince James stumbled across the commune and the Fellowship protected and hid him thinking that because he was a descendant of Unasson he could not be guilty of any crime. Claire was encouraged by the matriach to try and form a romantic relationship with James and she succeeded, although it was largely her who loved James with little emotion being returned. Eventually James was discovered and the group helped him escape however by this time Claire was pregnant with his child. Claire was taken in by the Ironside family as even though James was out of favour King David believed that the child should not have to suffer because of who his father was. Tristian was born in early 2016 and has never meet his father. Claire now resides in a small lodge within the Northfort Palace grounds and while shameful of her time within the Fellowship she still harbours some of its teachings such as a devotion to the Unasson line which she now protects in her son. |

| Biography | As a young boy he didn't get on with school so well until at the age of 13 he joined the 4th Rockhampton Detachment of the Army Cadet Force. He became obsessed with a career in the armed forces and thanks to a committed Detachment Officer was pushed to complete his Highers. He first applied to join the military as an officer but was turned down but was offered entry as an NCO. He took up the offer and served in the Light Infantry reaching the rank of Corporal. Following acing a leadership course designed for those hoping to make Sergeant he was recommended for Officer training and upon successful completion transferred to the Queen's Regiment of Footguards. Keen to keep pushing himself he attempted to join Red Legion in 2010 and was successful catching the eye of the commanding officer he was ear-marked for several significant courses. He served tours in Safraen, Seaforth, Academica and Marseille. He was asked by Brigadier Kelly to act as the units liason with the National Intelligence Agency which has seen him sit in on several key briefings or national security as well as undertake some more unusual and secretive work for the NIA. He spent much of 2020 in Lodja helping train their armed forces. Away from military duty he is interested in different martial arts and has belts in Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu-Jitsu and Eskrima. He has competed in several MMA competitions and even tried to make the East Moreland Medieval MMA team for the Mundus Games. | Biography | Keir was a young man torn between two paths, his love of sport could have seen him become a professional Medieval MMA fighter after finishing in the Top 3 of several junior and amateur national competitions however even at these events he could often be found with his nose tucked away in a science book. Between Medieval MMA, School and his membership of Air Cadets his youth was a packed one and while at University he joined the Air Force reserve and managed to gain his pilots licence. With a dream of becoming a fighter pilot seemingly in his grasp his 6ft 4inch and 17stone frame was not suited to the small cockpit and so he found himself flying Twin Lifter (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_CH-47_Chinook) Helicopters. He put himself through his Masters degree while serving as an officer on 159 Squadron. He wrote his research project on chemical warfare and found himself in demand by the military for several operations where there were concerns over the use of such things. In 2007 he was transferred to the Joint Special Forces Aviation Wing which undertake a variety of roles requiring specialist flying skills and learned to pilot several fixed wing transport aircraft. His stay with JSFAW saw him become well respected as alongside his flying duties he did his best to learn the skills of those he was a "chauffeur" for and at the urging of Sgt.Olly Thomas tried out for Red Legion and passed selection with relative ease. He served just two years with the unit when Alex Redfern recommended him for service with the Royal Protection Agency primarily as part of the King's Advanced Party due to his knowledge of special forces operations and deep knowledge of chemical weapon use. The stability of a more routine job allowed him to indulge in a variety of sporting passions and as technically members of the Royal Protection Agency are only on secondment from military units or police forces he still represents Red Legion at the Ostlake Games. Since King David's operation he has often been seen out rowing with the King on the Lake along with several other members of the King's Security detail. He has also filled in several times as a close protection agent for Queen Stasya and Princess Freya. |

| Biography | Was always a bit of an outsider at school as she didn't fit into any particular "clique" She enjoyed building computers, kickboxing and photography. In 2013 she won the East Moreland Universities kickboxing championship and signed up to the Army as a Reservist. Upon graduation she was commissioned into the Royal Signals Corps and found herself in a unit responsible for working out programmes and systems to intercept electronic data that could be used by front-line forces. When in 2017 King David ordered the formation of a specialist cyber warfare unit she was headhunted to the unit and gained a fast track promotion to Captain. She found herself in 2018 educating Red Legion about the finer arts of computer hacking and various other aspects of cyber security. As it was believed at some point someone with her skills may be needed on a Red Legion operation she undertook the Combined Special Operations Course which is seen as a half way house towards joining Red Legion. Her handiness with firearms alerted the Royal Protection Agency that she may be a potential agent to work with Princess Rhiannon however instead she has found herself attached to Queen Stasya. In 2017 she began a relationship with former Air Force officer Lindsay Easom who had also been brought into Cyber Legion. |

| Biography | From a military family her father was a Wing Commander in the Air Force and from a young age she developed an interest in military aviation. At school she got interested in computing and programming. As soon as he went to University she joined the REMAF Reservists and became an Electronic Warfare Officer onboard AEWACS aircraft. She was head-hunted in 2017 to join the newly formed Cyber Legion and fast-tracked to the rank of Major where she serves as a "Electronic Warfare Specialist" responsible for finding and utilising enemy electronic signals in the theatre of battle. During her time in the new Legion she meet fellow officer Tille Breckenridge and the pair began a relationship. |

| Biography | A student who perhaps enjoyed the social aspects far more. She was a journalist on the Silverhills University newspaper and covered lots of the social events put on in the student union. She also accompanied her mother to lots of royal occasions as her "plus one" and it was during these at one Ostlake Games she meet Queen Stasya. The pair hit it off and bonded over a shared love of music and shoes. When Stasya became Queen she resurrected the traditional role of Lady in Waiting and offered it to Jessica immediately. |

| Biography | Sir John comes from a long line of aviators with his grand-father being one of the first Morelanders to train to be a pilot. He followed in the families footsteps and joined as an Officer in the Air Force straight after University. He flew fighters for most of his career before joining the General staff and reached the rank of Wing Commander. When he finally retired from the military he was recruited into the diplomatic service and has served within it ever since. He was appointed to Aosta for what he has confirmed will be his final overseas appointment when he retires in 2022. |

| Biography | A rather quiet member of the diplomatic service she is essentially the calm quiet one in department meetings however when she does speak it is from a position of well considered logic. She is a keen player of chess and also plays the harp considering herself to be rather old fashioned in many respects. She served a military career in the Air Force as a fighter controller both in ground based and airborne capacities. Upon leaving the military she was persuaded to accept what was supposed to be a short positing as a security adviser at an embassy in the Union of Nordic People. It was a role she enjoyed and she remained there for a number of years picking up Norse during her stay. Both of her children were born in Uppsala and posses Alander citizenship as well as Hygelac. She inherited the title Duchess of Pembleton following the death of her older brother who was childless. He died from alcohol related issues in 2015 however as Duchess she has spent little time at the ancestral home. In 2008 she married William Gregory, a pilot in the Air Force. |

| Biography | Considered a rather controversial scholar in East Moreland. He has advocated some rather unique insights into East Moreland history such as the traditional narrative of Paul of the Explorer being carefully crafted by the Royal Family. He was at University during King David's time at Royal Northfort University however the pair are nothing more than acquaintances. Walterson is intrigued by merging some religious ideas such as militant orders with the teaching of the Cult of Helus and has therefore sought to establish his own. |

| Biography | Was considered a bit of a weird kid at school. He would rather had spent his time wandering around the woods and messing about in old industrial buildings than spending time with friends. He had a bit of an obessession with firearms and was arrested in 1999 when he was caught shooting out the windows of a newly built warehouse with a high powered air rifle. He however seemed to find a home in the military where he seemed to excel. At his commanding officers encouragement he was selected for Red Legion at his first attempt in 2007. He developed a real knack for close protection work and for the final year of his military career he taught recruits about the skills required. It was suspected he would end up as a key part of a royal protection team however he opted to leave the military and began operating security for a highly exclusive nightclub in Silverhills. He soon made contact with many high flyers and celebrities and did some private work on the side. Eventually he took over the nightclub entirely and also invested in a series of other entertainment related industries including a casino, a small private cinema and a greyhound track. Despite now being considered a reasonably wealthy man he still likes getting his hands dirty and is often found working the door of his venues. |

| Biography | Managed to stay in education until 18 by a pure miracle of having a languages teacher who would tolerate some of his negative attitude. Originally had no intention of joining the military beyond national service but finding himself attached to the Army Aviation Corps he formed an interest in aviation and managed to transfer his national service into regular service in the Air Force. He served first as a loadmaster responsible for the rear of the various types of aircraft he worked on. Eventually he wanted a greater challenge and so enrolled for training with the JSFAW which is the unit that provides a great deal of logistic support to Red Legion. He seemed to excel on the course and was assigned to a helicopter team responsible for inserting and recovering Red Legionnaires on ops. This often lead him to have to man door guns, provide overwatch and various other tasks for the elite unit. He became friends with many of the Legionnaires and even considered trying selection however didn't want to give up flying. In 2007 he even qualified to fly helicopters himself and soon after a C-130 however he never had an opportunity to do so operationally. In 2016 he began trying to spend more time with his daughter and left the military to work for Red Legionnaire friend Bryson Kemp. It soon became clear that attempts to spend more time with his daughter were not paying off and so he threw himself into some of the more shady work Kemp was involved with that used his entertainment company as a kind of front. Earle is now seen as somewhat a key part of Kemp's enterprises. In his time with the military Earle was Armed Forces Middleweight Boxing Champion on two occasions. |
