With the invitations sent out, Prime Minister Domini looks outside his office window. "This is likely the most important event of our republic. This event will set the course of our republic with the rest of the world." Domini looks down at his phone. 14 new messages. The security brief sitting on his desk. Newspaper sitting on the arm of his chair. '14 Dead in Terrorist Bombing of Constantinople Metro'. Yet another security briefing, but this one with bold lettering. A memo open on his computer. 'Security for Gala to be all time high'. The stress of being the first Prime Minister of a democratic revolution is not something they teach you how to handle in primary school. He sips his coffee while holding his head. He opens the window and lights the last cigarette in his pack, blowing the smoke out his window.

"This job will be the death of me." He mutters, returning to his desk to send out a memo to all chiefs of staff instructing to keep on highest alert for the next week leading up to the event. 'NOTHING CAN GO WRONG' in bold, red lettering on the bottom of the memo.

Taking the hand of their host, Alesandro says, "Apologies for not responding formally, as you may or may not be aware of our country has been in a sort of... unstable state as of late." He says as he scratches the back of his neck in a state of nervousness.

"In any event. I am most honored to be here at this conference and while we weren't able to bring anything to expo this year, we have high hopes for next year."

MP Alesandro of Novum Vespuccia accompanied by his security entourage enters the grand showroom. He looks at his pocket watch nervously, as this is the first foray into a global stage for his nation, and all eyes at home will be on him to make a good showing. His home country wasn't a backwater, but seeing the newest and best technological innovations on display had him incredibly nervous.

"They had to send me, didn't they" Alesandro mutters under his breath

"You understand this is a great honor, as you are the face of our entire country in this moment, an honor that even our highest lords couldn't be bold enough to take" Says Darius, Alesandro's attendant, clearly overhearing his utterances.

"I suppose you're right, but I still feel uncomfortable" Alesandro replies offhandedly as he takes a drink and begins walking the showroom, meeting and greeting the most powerful people in the region.

The UEM is a small autocratic republic with ideals for a hedgemony of all people, led by a benign but all powerful state. The state focuses it's effort to the betterment of it's populace, and hopes to work with other countries to further it's goals. The UEM is a small, insignificant city state now, but efforts are being made to rise like Rome and other great empires to become a predominant power in the region. The UEM is no stranger to warfare, and a sizable amount of it's budget is spent of defence. We are more than happy to assist other nations from persecution and terror, and are a part of most international conflicts regarding them
