Abbas looks at the paper and says "If the 1.5 bln dinars price for the slaves is okay with you then I'll go ahead and write that down" as he says that he signs the treaty.

After signing the treaty, Abbas resumes speaking:
"You made the right choice, Lapu. Going by car will be worth the extra hour or two.
It was a pleasure meeting you, Lapu. May this treaty be the first building block of our two nations' relation. Now if there's not anything else I can do then I believe the meeting has reached its conclusion." as the says that, Abbas moves to shake the hand of Lapu. He then escorts the king to his car.
Once inside the car and after Abbas went inside the palace, King Lapu is informed by the security personnel that because of unexpected issues in traffic, they would have to wait a couple of minutes before leaving the palace. The security personnel is calm without a hint of worry in his voice.
Less than five minutes pass before the palace doors are opened and two women wearing a hijab are running to the car. One of the security guards gets out of the car and opens the door where King Lapu was seating and says:" Your Majesty, I apologize for the delay. The women insisted they wanted to see you."
The security guard had barely managed to finish talking that the two women were already near the King and the older one was started speaking:
"Your Majesty, we apologize for keeping you from your important business. We only wanted to thank you for your generosity. Only the two of us could come on such a short notice but we bring the gratitude of all who work in the kitchen. We will mention you in our daily prayers and will forever remember your generosity. " the two women then make a deep bow towards the king as a sign of respect. The security guard closes the door and the convoy takes off. The two women do not move from the spot and instead look at the convoy until the last car could no longer be seen.
Spoiler: the women from the kitchen show The two women were both grateful for the King's gift and honoured to have met him. The convoy headed for Tamora's highway system but passing through Djerb, the capital of Tamora, the convoy sometimes had to go slow for various reasons giving passengers the time to see the streets of Djeb and its people.
Regular Tamorans were dressed very conservative and despite the heat none wore shorts or short sleeves. Also, most women covered their hair. Religious symbols abounded all over the city and were present not just on window apartments but also in windows shops , street ads and especially street art. Some Tamorans were sitting on the bench praying and there were even street preachers in the most crowded intersections reading passages from their holy books. Religion was everywhere in Djerb and an integral part of people's lives.
Spoiler: Street ads and art in Djerb show Aside from religious symbols and iconography, the Tamoran flag was present all over the city: on the balconies of apartment buildings, in window shops, as stickers on cars and even on Manist temples.
Once the convoy reached the outskirts of Djeb, it raced to the highway and once they got on the highway, the convoy switched to the emergency lane started going with at least 140 miles per hour. At that speed it didn't take more than four hours to reach the federated kingdom of Attica. As the cars greatly reduced the speed and left the highway, they skipped past the line of waiting cards that were waiting to pass the checkpoint to the federated Kingdom of Attica. Some foreigners might find is strange but the kingdoms of Tamora still carry considerable powers and they can limit the free movement of people within the empire. The kingdom of Attica was one such kingdom that reserved and exerted that right. As a diplomatic convoy, it passed with easy at the checkpoint and having barely stopped. In the few short minutes that the convoy went through the checkpoints you could see the flag of Attica flying over the checkpoint and the Armenian language becoming the dominant language. Signs were also translated into Parthian but Armenian reigned king in this part of Tamora.
Spoiler: the flag of Attica show In Attica, this flag is "king" Since Attica was the smallest kingdom in Tamora in both size and population, the convoy reached the capital, Alaverdi, in less than an hour. For a foreign passenger who had never been to Tamora, it could be a bit of a shock. Where Djerb was a huge Parthian(ooc: RL Persian) metropolis where the Manist faith had a clear and visible presence, here things were radically different. The hijab among women was in a clear minority, with men and women wearing clothing that resembled more the average Mundus country, though perhaps somewhat more conservative. The Tamoran flag was rarely seen outside major government buildings and instead gave way to the Attican flag. The religious buildings were also different, the overwhelming majority being (Armenian) Catholic, the official religion of Attica. A traveler used to the Imperial Enclave(where King Lapu had just had his visit with the Emperor) could be forgiven if he'd thought Attica was a separate country.
The convoy reached the destination: the Royal Palace of Attica.
Spoiler: the Royal Palace of Attica show The building was constructed under the reign of the first king of the Saroyan (the current ruling dynasty of Attica), almost 400 years ago. Since then it had been the residence and the seat of power of Attica's Monarch. The Queen of Attica,
Arpine Saroyan was waiting to greet King Lapu personally. As the king got out of the car, she approached him and extended her hand for a handshake.
"Your Majesty, welcome to Attica. Your presence here honors us deeply" said the queen to King Lapu. "I was informed you traveled by car all the way from Djerb, I hope the trip wasn't too tiresome. Do you still want to go ahead with the meeting or would you like to rest and reschedule for tomorrow ?"
Spoiler: Queen of Attica show The 31 year old Queen of Attica meets King Lapu, her first official state visit as Queen. The press was standing some 30 feet away from the two officials, taking pictures as well as transmitting live the reception of King Lapu. Tamora in general was rarely visited by foreign HoS, naturally the federated kingdoms of Tamora saw even less state visits, so King's Lapu visit was covered by both the press of the kingdom and also the national one. Arpine, the current queen of Attica, had ascended to the throne just two years before causing stir in the ultraconservative Tamora as the first woman to lead a Tamoran kingdom. Both critics and supporters of the queen would be looking at the visit as a test to see if she is apt to lead her kingdom.
