Tamoran Imperial News Service (TINS) - Zimalian Edition
« on: September 22, 2018, 06:32:13 PM »
TINS Zimalia was founded in 2018 and is a subsidiary of TINS. As a small and growing Tamoran community has been established in Zimalia and Tamoran investments in Zimalia are growing fast, TINS has decided to open a station here and dedicate an entire channel to local news. We aim to bring you a Tamoran perspective on Zimalia, the latest news on events affecting the Tamoran community here but also news about how Zimalia and its people are influencing Tamora.

We hope you will enjoy watching us.

Alborz ("the highest one") is a gift from the Eternal President of Zimalia to the Emperor of Tamora. The cub now dwells in a small "reservation" set up especially for him at the Imperial Palace in Djeb. It is a symbol of the bond between Zimalia and Tamora.

God bless the Emperor and the Eternal President! God bless Tamora and Zimalia!

Tamoran ambassador visits the Manist community established in rural Zimalia

Tamoran ambassador visits the Manist community established in rural Zimalia

TINS- Zimalia news anchor

The Tamoran ambassador visited the rural areas where villagers are increasingly choosing to follow the word of the Prophet Mani. The ambassador visited the newly established schools where students learn from an young age the word of the Prophet and has said the pledge of allegiance together with the students. He commended the students by saying he sees "a piece of Tamora" in each of everyone of them. He had also promised students that those that prove to be the most loyal to the word of the Prophet will get to visit the Great Temple in Djerb and attended religious service there at the first sermon given by the wife of the Emperor.

Afterwards, the ambassador, an Imam himself, met with the imams assigned to the villages and  thanked for their work but also insisted that much work is still needed in order to build a community with an identity centered around the Prophet rather than tribal affiliations.

The Manist Association of Zimalia(MAZ) announces new project to strengthen ties between Zimalian Manists and those back home in Tamora

The leading Imam of MAZ has said that after much planning and coordination he is ready to start a new program for the rural Manist villages. The program will link via the imams the rural families of Zimalia to more affluent Manist families in the Imperial Enclave in order to provide aid but also friendship and sharing experience.  The Imam said:

"It's one thing to have aid dropped "from the sky" without knowing who provided it for you or where it's going in case of the donor. The program which will be available for the Manist rural families that show a good standing with their temple will have a designated Manist family in Tamora. That family will be more than just a sponsor. They will, God willing, become friends. They would regularly communicate with each other, ask them what each other needs, because Zimalians have plenty to offer too, and mostly importantly visit each other.

So for example rather than receiving the standard aid from "abroad", our community in Zimalia will receive packages that are signed, books that have the signature of the family who donated, they would know each other names and share a bond. So when a family would come to Zimalia or they would go to Tamora they would be like friends who haven't met in a long time rather than strangers. When each family would do their daily payers, they would mention each other in their prayers.

Of course, the "regular" aid MAZ provides will continue to be supplied as before."

Tamoran mining companies are still looking for workers

Tamoran mining companies are still hiring for their mining operations here. They says they preferred to be more strict in hiring policy and as such have filled their positions at a slower rate than perhaps expected. Still, despite the small setbacks, the mining activity in the country will continue as planned.

Manist schools in the rural villages continue their program of one million letters of thanks to the Zimalian President

This week, the students were encouraged to write and thank their president for at least one of his achievement in his long rule. The more popular reasons students chose to thank the President were: ending tribal warfare, fighting corruption and bringing stability to the country.

God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Clean water, energy and internet access come to rural Zimalia
« Reply #2 on: September 29, 2018, 08:48:17 AM »
Clean water, energy and internet access come to rural Zimalia easier and faster than ever before

A Zimalian child and the Watly EM machine provided by Manist Association of Zimalia(MAZ)

MAZ(Manist Association of Zimalia) has announced that they have provided five Manist villages here, in Zimalia, with the latest Watly machines from Watly EM. The machines will be providing water and electricity for all villagers while internet access will be restricted for education at school, with limited access being provided to Manists in good standing with the Church. The Walty machines will be placed on the grounds of the Manist temple villages. The leading Imam of MAZ has said that the first 5 machines, priced at 800 thousands dinars (USD) each are the first phase of the project and that a reservation has been made for a further five  machines. According to the Imam, MAZ has limited resources available but has been in contact with the Tamoran mining companies that are setting up their operations here and it seems they are very willing to provide a contribution from their profits to MAZ. "Once the Tamoran mining companies will be fully operational, we expect they will help the local community just as they do back home. That will allow us to help more people here in Zimalia."

The machines are manufactured in East Moreland by one of their local companies named Watly. Sources from MAZ say they approached the Morelander company because they couldn't find anything even remotely similar anywhere in Mundus,  let alone in Tamora. Though initial negations were difficult because of cultural differences and a troubled political context, the Morelander company and MAZ managed to reach an agreement and, should MAZ get the funding it needs, they will be able to buy many more such machines.
MAZ has stated they are extremely excited by the capabilities of Watly machines and as they would greatly help in transforming the economies of the villages.

The first six families from Tamora came to visit rural Zimalia through the sponsorship program

The recently started program where local Imams are trying to link the small but growing Manist community from rural Zimalia to Tamora is moving forward. This week the first six families, together with their children,  spent a couple of days in one of the Manist villages of Zimalia. The six Manist families from Zimalia that were their hosts were all upstanding members of the community and highly recommend by the local imam. The visit proved successful as the visitors spent time together , explored the country side, the children went to school together and, of course, they all prayed together.
The leading Imam of Manist Association of Zimalia (MAZ) was kind enough to talk to us about how the program is going and what are its goals:

-Iman, please tell us a bit about what you are hoping to archive with this program:
-To bond our community together. The small Manist community here follows the word of the Prophet but is surrounded by people who do not share or understand our faith. If that wasn't enough, tribal and clan allegiance runs deep with the people here. People back home have no idea just how strong the tribal allegiance is for people living here and how hard it is to break those allegiances and have them follow the Prophet.  So it's very important for them to see that they aren't just joining a new religion but also a new "tribe", the only "tribe" we, who follow the Prophet, have: Tamoran.

-How did the Tamoran families reacted when they got to the rural village?
-Not very well, I can tell you that. They wanted to go back and said it was a bad idea.

-Really?
-Yeah, they were displeased about the poor conditions, worried their kids might get a disease etc.

- And what did you do?
- I said :"look, let me ask you this. If these people were not Manist but rich Zimalians that just happened to invite you for a couple of days to this rural area, in these same conditions, for a genuine Zimalian rural experience, would you have stayed if it meant you could potentially benefit from doing business with them?"
And they of course said that it is a different matter, that it could cause offense to the hypothetic rich ZImalians and ruin their potential business deal. So I pressed them and asked if they read the Book of Mani and of course they boasted how they read from it every day and pray daily. It was then that I told them to stop reading the book and stop praying because they must be reading it backwards or something since it's seemed to have the opposite effect than intended. Otherwise I couldn't explain how you'd honor the invitation of a rich heathen just because he might be offended and yet they'd refuse the hospitality of a fellow brother of faith and not even consider they could be offending him.

- I take it you were a bit angry then...
-Oh yes. I mean I always say in my sermons how if Zimalians leave their tribal affiliations behind their get to join the biggest "tribe" of all, the Tamoran "tribe". And when Zimalians finally get to see their fellow "tribesmen" coming here, Tamorans consider turning away. The hosts we selected were pillars their communities, they left their tribal affiliations behind, their children performed very well at school and followed the word of the Prophet and still it was not enough for some our people.

- But in the end they stayed. How did they find the "Zimalian" experince?
- After their initial ... "shock" let's call it, they discovered things are not that bad. That once you look beyond the veil of poverty, you see people who want to learn as much as possible about the Prophet and have the same aspirations as us. They also saw that Zimalia and Zimalians had a lot to offer, too.

At the end of their stay, the Tamorans were asking me what they could do to help and I said to them that I don't know. I know how to teach faith and the word of the Prophet. That's their job to figure out solutions. We are doing the best we can here but only if we work together, all of us, can we find ways to help. That's why it's important to have these meetings, only when you meet people in person you understand what the stake is. Once the Tamorans saw for themselves rural Zimalia they can now get a feeling about what they need to doand  how they can help. It also helps to spread the word in our communities about our work that is still needed here.

-So what's next?
-The Tamorans are anxious to return the favor and host the Zimalian families in return. We hope we can make the necessary arrangements for the Zimalians to get to Djerb (capital of Tamora) by the time the Mother of the Nation will give her first sermon at the Great Temple of Djerb.

-Thank you so much.
-Thank you.

Nothing brings Tamorans together like praying in public, under the clear sky for all and God to see.

MAZ and Zimalian Union of Labour (ZUL) continue to enhance their partnership to help combat homelessness in urban Zimalia

MAZ has said they will continue to work with ZUL to identify people in urban areas that have lost their homes and have no place to go. MAZ will offer these people the opportunity to move to rural areas where MAZ has plenty of land. Priority will be given to homeless Zimalians that are single mothers and parents with young children. The "newcomer" families in the villages will be provided a house owned by MAZ that they will be able to use for free and be helped to integrate in the local community.
"Thanks to machines like Walty EM but also the collaborated efforts of our aid works, the parts of rural Zimalia where MAZ owns land have seen a significant increase in quality of life. We believe that it's slowly becoming an alternative for those Zimalians in urban areas that are now homeless."

MAZ continues its acquisition of arable land in rural

MAZ have said they will continue to buy all available land in rural areas. They have also said that complaints regarding Afolayans who have been forced into bankruptcy through unethical contracts is not something that is directly connected to them and it is a matter between Tamoran agricultural companies and villagers.
"We are buying as much arable substance farming land and developing the villages where we have acquired a significant portion of the land. The legal matters between Tamoran agricultural companies and villagers is something that can best be addressed by the Zimalian courts. We would also like to remind people that, to the best our knowledge,  Tamoran companies are fully compliant with Zimalian law."

Drip irrigation explained.

Drip irrigation in practice.

MAZ is working with Tamoran agricultural companies to find ways to increase agricultural output in the areas where it owns land. One such way is using dripping irrigation which, although has its shortcomings, increases output production.
"Water is short supply in many parts of Zimalia. Dipping irrigation allows us to make better use of the precious few water we have and also see better harvests. Although there is a cost associated with the initial investment but we expect the costs to be recouped after a couple of harvests. "

Tamoran embassy organizes a screening of the latest Silence movie

The Tamoran embassy organized a screening of the Silence movie, which presents the ethnic cleansing of Tamorans living in Slava Lavosk. Those in attendance were deeply touched by what they saw and at the end of the movies, when DIlara's mother uttered the ancient Tamoran prayer, people in attendance stood up, held each other's hands and said the prayer in unison.

Our thoughts and prayers go to Dilara, her family and every Tamoran held in detention by the Slavan regime. Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Alya, the Mother of the Nation and Princess Thekla visit Zimalia

Alya, the Mother of the Nation and Princess Thekla of Royal Seleucid visit Zimalia

TINS- Zimalia's only news anchor

Our small community in Zimalia is honored to received as guests two very important royals: the First Wife of the Emperor of Tamora and the youngest daughter of the King of Royal Seleucid. The two ladies were greeted at the airport by a Tamoran delegation from the embassy as well as over one hundred people who wanted to see in person the two royal ladies.

The visit was not a state one and did not involve the Zimalian authorities in any way. All security as well as travel and accommodation were paid by the Tamoran embassy in Zimalia, the Tamoran authorities informed us. The aspect was necessary to note since Zimalia, under the current President, is engaged in rooting out corruption and cutting wasteful spending allowing public funds to be spent only on the most urgent and stringent of needs.

The first part of the tour took them to the Tamoran embassy where the Manist Association of Zimalia (MAZ) talked about the current progress they had in establishing a functional religious community but they have also adrressed of one of the gravest problems Zimalia is facing: AIDS. According to MAZ, AIDS is the number one threat to the future of Zimalia and so far MAZ has been unable to effectively tackle the issue. Information campaigns have begin in Manist villages but MAZ has said it needs skilled staff as well as medicine and medical facilities to handle the issue properly. Alya has pledged to personally get involved in the issue and has stated that the AIDS epidemic is now a Tamoran problem and the Manist community here will not be left without help. After the meeting with MAZ, a futher meeting took place with the representatives of both the Tamoran mining companies and the Seleucid ones (that are subcontracted by Tamoran ones) presented the progress they have made here as well as their expansion plans. Alya has asked the Tamoran companies to be generous and look to donate to the local Manist community 5% of their profits which the companies have pledge to do so. They have also described the cooperation with the Seleucid partners as "excellent".

The next day has seen the two royal ladies part ways as each went to their respective temple of worship to pray. A special mention here is that the Anahitaist temple that princess Thekla attended was built with Tamoran funds and staffed by a priestess from the federated kingdom of West Seleucid in order to attend to the needs of the Seleucid community in Zimalia.  Late in the evening, the two royal ladies departed Zimalia.

MAZ(Manist Association of Zimalia) tackles grains loss in rural villages

A silobag in one of the Manist villages in Zimalia

Substance farming faces many challenges and among it is grain loss. It might sound incredible but from the already low yields that such farm produce, sometimes more than 50% of the gain is lost due to lack of proper storage. While in most nations silos and other adequate string measures reduce the loss to less than one percent, in Zimalia such techniques are too expensive. So MAZ, together with Tamoran agricultural companies have introduce the silobags that allow storage for up to two years. The silobags are a much cheaper option than conventional silos and will allow the Manist villages in Zimalia to minimize grain loss and to sell their crops when prices are higher.

Conversion to the word of the Prophet is a beautiful thing

A young lady wearing the hijab for the first time. A sign for all to know, that starting from now, she follows the word of the Prophet Mani

Choosing the Prophet is not always easy, it means leaving behind the old ways, tribal affiliations and sometimes you have to face backlash from your community. This is why we congratulate all those in Zimalia that have chosen to follow the Prophet, we know that it is not always easy but our aim is not this life but the afterlife. And you can always take comfort and pride that you have joined a new family: the Tamoran one.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Tragedy strikes the Manist community of Zimalia

Tragedy strikes the Manist community of Zimalia

TINS- Zimalia's only news anchor

Tragedy strikes the Manist community of Zimalia, as one of the Imams of MAZ (Manist Association of Zimalia) was killed while on mission to spread the word of the Prophet in rural areas. MAZ has stated that the imam was clubbed to death by a group of suspects from the Afolayan tribe which claimed that the Imam and Tamorans were "stealing their land". MAZ is has reiterated that all land purchases in Zimalia are legal and in full compliance with the laws and regulations of Zimalia. Furthermore, MAZ reiterates that the land bought in Zimalia is not shipped to Tamora or anything like but remains in Zimalia and is improved and worked together with Zimalians. Unfortunately, such instances of tribal violence are a common occurrence in Zimalia and as the Eternal President of Zimalia has said numerous times are often started by the  Afolayan tribe which steels harbors resentment from having lost the power in Zimalia after their leaders greatly mismanaged the public funds in the country leading to widespread poverty.

The body of the Imam will be taken to Tamora later today. The funeral will taken place in the Imperial Enclave and MAZ has stated that the local Ayatollah will likely give the deceased imam the title of martyr.
MAZ has stated that while the incident in unfortunate and a tragedy, the good work MAZ is doing will continue in Zimalia not only because there is much need for people to hear the word of the Prophet but also because the Imam who was killed for spreading the Faith would have wanted for his work to continue. However, MAZ emphasized that the local Manist community needs to learn from the tragedy and that as our community grows it needs to organize itself and find means to protect itself from the threat of violence.

The Tamoran Embassy in Zimalia organized conferences and working trips to Tamora

In the last few months the Tamoran embassy in Zimalia has worked hard to convince the leaders of the legislative process of Zimalia on the benefits that a lifting of tariffs for Tamoran goods will bring. The embassy held a series of conferences and events on its grounds inviting various local economists from the University of Mogebbe (Zimalia) to explain the positive impact the Tamoran investments in mining and agriculture have already brought to the local economy. Afterwards, the new Tamoran ambassador has spoken of the aid mission to Zimalia and how that is slowly but irreversibly changing the face of rural Zimalia where it is present.

Zimalian leaders that wished to learn more about future plans for investing in Zimalia and what new technologies Tamora can bring in the mining and agricultural sector where invited for working trips to Tamora to see for themselves mining operations in Tamora. The trips were of course paid by the Tamoran embassy and guests were also invited to bring their families along as to not create grievances for their family members.

MAZ(Manist Association of Zimalia) aims for expand the artisan economy in the Manist rural villages

A Manist artisan working at a MAZ workshop. The works respect the standards of our Faith

The spokesperson for MAZ has talked at length with us about the progress being made to improve the artisan sector of the Manist villages of Zimalia. The artisan sector is the second largest employer after agriculture in Zimalia and thus MAZ aims to greatly focus on this sector as way to improve the living standards on the rural villages but also to create employment opportunities.

"We are currently bringing in homeless or at risk of becoming people from the urban areas to our rural villages. The population of the villages grows not just from natural growth but also from immigration but that creates a major problem for us. How do we find employment opportunities in our rural villages? Not everyone can be farmers and no factories are going to be built in the rural areas. So one of our solutions is to develop the artisan sector."

The imams of the Manist rural villages coordinate the effort and make sure that artisan work is according to the standards of the Faith. While artisan are of course free to manufacture pagan artifacts, MAZ will not distribute such artifacts to potential customers. "Tribal and pagan affiliations have no place in the Manist villages" said one Imam. "With the death of one of our own imams we have seen the violence that such tribal affiliations and pagan traditions can lead to. Our rural villages are increasingly more diverse as people from other villages or even urban areas come to our villages in search for a better life. We have one tribe here: the Tamoran one." added the Imam.

The spokesperson for MAZ explained how a previous project of MAZ, where Tamoran families came to rural Zimalia for short visits in the rural villages to help create a connection to back home is helping this project. The Imam said that one of the people that came to Zimalia works at the bank and has managed to convince the management to use part of the budget for decorations to buy works made by Manist Zimalian artisans. Another Tamoran who visited Zimalia works in the IT industry and has worked together with his collogues to build a website where MAZ will display the works of the artisans and customers will be able to purchase them and have them delivered to their homes. The site is currently available only for Tamorans but it is hoped that soon it will be able to expand to take orders from Zimalia, Royal Seleucid and then go international.
Thanks to the work of MAZ and the Tamoran embassy in Zimalia, Alya Safavid, Head of Foreign Affairs for Tamora, has announced that the Tamoran Emperor has issued a decree that will make all artisan works from Zimalia tariff free in an effort to promote the sector and encourage development of the Manist rural villages of Zimalia.

Spoiler:  Manist artisans and their works • show

Some of the Manist artisans, in good standing with the Church, have had their works put on sale on a Tamoran website. More artisans and works will follow soon as the business grows.

Answering to the critics of our Faith

As our faith and our community in Zimalia grows, so does the envy and hate of our enemies. Last week, in the far away nation of Slava Lavosk, the one that imprisons Tamorans for their faith, had one of their networks release a hit piece on our community here in Zimalia. While we won't comment on the falsehoods and outright blasphemy that were present thought their "news" piece, we will adres some of their criticism. Why aren't we always so happy and joyful after pledging to follow the Prophet? One reason is that our faith, unlike Christianity or many other faiths of Mundus, is not meant to produce joy and happiness, it's not a drug or something that makes you feel good. Our religion means submitting to the will of God totally and completely, and to follow the teachings of our Prophet as he laid them out. It is a lifetime commitment that makes you contemplate on that huge responsibility, not make you laugh as if it was a joke.  But a second reason we aren't always happy and joyful is because we have to deal with people like you, Slava Lavosk. People that hate and imprison us for our faith. So if you really want to see us happy, release the Tamorans held in your detainment camps and free Dilara. That will make us smile and bring us joy.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Fairuza Kuto goes into space making history for both Tamora and Zimalia
« Reply #5 on: November 04, 2018, 09:45:28 AM »
Fairuza Kuto goes into space making history for both Tamora and Zimalia

Seeing Fairuza Kuto praying and bringing the word of the Prophet in space has touched many of us

The Manist community here in Zimalia made headlines as one our members, Fairuza Kuto, has become the first Zimalian to go into space. Fairuza Kuto, a Zimalian born naturalized Tamoran citizen, is now with the Adora Space Station where she will be staying  for at least four months. Our Manist community is both thrilled and proud of her success.
The spokesperson for MAZ (Manist Association of Zimalia) gave us a short interview about Fairuza 's recent success, what it means for our Manist community here and what further plans MAZ has for Zimalia. Here are the main highlights:

-Millions of Zimalians have seen Fairuza go into space and celebrated her achievement. There have been reports of people flocking to our faith. What do you think of that?
-I wouldn't say people are flocking to our faith. What we see is a genuine interest and curiosity for our faith. People are asking about us, about our faith, they want to know more. And there is also a change of attitude in regards to us.

-A change of attitude, can please explain?
-As you know Zimalia is roughly a one third Muslim, another Christian and the rest tribal superstitions. Before Fairuza's  trip to space, most Zimalians would have never hared of us and assumed we are some sect or some weird branch of Islam because we share some elements with Islam. Now though, a lot of people have heard of us. We received thousands of letter of congratulations and of thanks, and I understand the Tamoran embassy has received similar feedback. When I walk the streets people now constantly greet me and even stop to thank me for our work here. Our faith now has notoriety and a positive image. I do not know how many Zimalians hold this view but we definitely see a notable increase. People now understand that Manism is here to stay and that it has a positive influence on Zimalia. People trust us more now, it is easier to approach them, to talk about our faith etc.

-What are your immediate plans?
- We have joined forces so to speak with the Tamoran embassy here to launch a campaign to convince Zimalians officials to lift their tariffs on Tamoran goods because it will have a positive influence on Zimalia by increasing Tamoran investments here and creating more jobs for the local population. We will see if our recent increase in notoriety has any effect.

-What other news do you have from the rural areas?
-We just entered into a partnership of with the Global Childbirth Initiative (GCI) which will allow us to have 20 midwifes in our villages. We also started a campaign against FGM, we are pleased to see that in some places people told us that they already knew much of the information we provided because of previous campaigns of GCI. I guess a refresh never hurt anyone.

-Do you have any new projects that you are planning to implement soon? Can you give us some more details?
-We do, we have one project that I personally believe will bring a significant change in the lives of Zimalians in urban areas who are struggling. I can't give you more details since we don't want to spoil it. But I would like to add that having too many projects can also be a bad thing and make you lose focus and also spread your limited resources over too many projects with the risk to slow their growth or even stop it completely. So I would like to point out that we are continuing to link Zimalians families in rural areas to families back home, in Tamora. It's a project that has taken off and haa expended naturally creating connections in our community that we ourselves didn't expect, we are also continuing our acquisition of land in the rural areas and continue our investment there. Right now, despite generous funding provided by our faithful back home as well as our mining companies here, we are finding that we are close to reaching the limit in terms of resources. We are now looking for ways to increase our funding and for ways to continue to do good but with little resources to spend. I am a firm believer that while spending money is indeed very important it is not a panacea for all problems. We will have to be smart and come up with ways of expanding our work here without necessarily spending lots of money. That's the next challenge for us.

Dear viewers, it would seem the future is looking brighter. Where there is faith, nothing is impossible.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Manist lending comes to Zimalia

TINS- Zimalia's new anchor
TINS Zimalia also observes the national mourning decreed in Tamora following the brutal execution of Dilara

Late last year the spokesperson for MAZ( Manist Association of Zimalia) was telling us in an exclusive interview that the association was close to launching one more project in Zimalia. Earlier today MAZ has made public their new project: Manist Lending Program (MLP) which is aimed at offering micro credits to poor Zimalians living in the capital. The program will respect the teachings of the Prophet Mani and will not charge interest. Aside from not charging interest, the borrowers can also pay back their loans by working for MAZ, attending Manist religious services regularly and keeping an upstanding behavior according to Manist teachings. The maximum amount that a person can borrow will be one thousand dinars (USD) which is not small for Zimalian standards. MAZ has provided initial funding of one million dinars but in order to be able to keep the program running has also opened a website mlp.org where it will upload basic information about the borrowers. Those accessing the site can check the information of the borrowers and are invited to donate money towards financing part of that loan and thus help the develop and grow the community.

MAZ stated that through this new initiative it aims not only to improve the living conditions of Zimalians but also their spiritual lives by encouraging good behavior and morals.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

The Tamoran Cultural Center (TCC) opens a branch in Zimalia

TINS- Zimalia news anchor

The Manist Association of Zimalia (MAZ) together with the Tamoran embassy issued a joint press statement announcing the that the Tamoran Cultural Center will open a branch in Zimalia. Many in the small Tamoran community in Zimalia have felt the need for the center to begin its activity here in an effort to promote Tamoran values. At first TCC will have an office only in the capital but depending on how things evolve there are plans to open one more regional office in another major Zimalian city. The press statement has also announced that the Honorific President of TCC will be none other than Fairuza Kuto, the Zimalian born Tamoran citizen that has made headlines in Tamora and Zimalia by being the first Zimalian/Tamoran to go into space. Ms. Kuto is currently aboard the Rokkenjiman space station and there are rumors that the Rokojiman authorities are planning to take her hostage in an effort to punish Tamora for not following Rokkenjima’s foreign policy dictates.

TCC will host a series of cultural events from movie screenings, to art galleries and religious expositions but will also provide scholarships to  Zimalians that want to study aboard in Tamora. Ayatollah Ramin Rafsanjani, the Tamoran ambassador, gave us a short interview where we talked about the necessary of TCC to operate in Zimalia:

-   TCC opening a branch here shows not only Tamora’s commitment to Zimalia but it’s also a much needed tool to combat the constant anti Tamoran propaganda and hate that is coming from some nations on this continent and on the other side of the Illumic Channel. While others preach hate, we help people learn and enrich themselves.

-   How would you describe Tamora’s relation with Zimalia?

-   If I would have to use one word, I would say: excellent. There is a lot of understand and cooperation between our countries. While initially maybe economic reasons where the main driver of the relation between our two countries, now it has clearly evolved to more than that. There is a small and growing Manist community here with some estimating the number at around ten thousand. We have seen temples being built in rural Zimalia. And I would argue that where Tamorans have got involved in rural Zimalia it shows from a mile away.

-   What is the next step for the Zimalian-Tamoran relations?

-   I don’t know if you are aware, but our staff here has been very involved in promoting the idea to the authorities that lifting all trade restrictions like tariffs or quotas for Tamoran products will bring a huge benefit to Zimalia. We have seen some positive responses so far but the government has yet to reach a decision. If we reach this milestone, we would enter the next stage of cooperation between our countries.

-   Can we see the TCC opening braches in other countries?

-   I am ambassador to Zimalia so I do not have all the information about the TCC’s plans in other countries. I certainly hope so. As far as I know there are plans to open branches in Socram, Noobia and Phuebra.

-   Thank you so much for your time.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Tamoran SU-35 crashed killing its pilot

Tamoran SU-35 crashed killing its pilot

The Tamoran SU-35 after the crash

Earlier today various media outlets in Zimalia broke the story that allegedly a Tamoran SU -35 crashed near the capital of Zimalia. Last year the Empire of Tamora has deployed in Zimalia a squadron of SU-35 to help defend the country against foreign aggression. Minutes after the story broke on Zimalian media, the Tamoran embassy has confirmed the crash and the fact that the pilot did not eject. While the embassy has denied speculation the plane was shut down it has not provided a reason for the crash. This has led many analysts to speculate that a technical failure might have been responsible and that the pilot did not eject in an effort to divert the aircraft out of the populated areas.

Hours later the Tamoran embassy has also released the name of the pilot after having first informed the family of the deceased. He was Major Nader Jahanbani and was 33 years old. He leaves behind one wife and three children who will miss him dearly until they are reunited in the afterlife. His remains will be repatriated as soon as possible.
Furthermore, the Tamoran embassy has reiterated Tamora’s continuous support for Zimalia’s security and has confirmed that a new SU-35 will arrive in Zimalia as soon as possible. The “current tensions with Slava Lavosk will not affect Tamora’s commitment to Zimalia” the ambassador has added.

The Manist Association of Zimalia (MAZ) has announced that a special religious service will be held in all Manist temples and chapels in Zimalia in the memory of Nader Jahanbani. All Zimalians regardless of faith are invited to attend.

Until next time: God bless Major Nader Jahanbani for his sacrifice! God bless Tamora!

Tamora’s Head of Foreign Affairs, Alya Safavid, makes an important announcement

Lady Safavid dazzled the attendees at the conference with her grace and confidence. This is the second time she visits Zimalia.

Tamora’s Head of Foreign Affairs, Alya Safavid, arrived in Zimalia for a working visit that will last two days. The visit comes after Zimalia’s legislature voted and the President approved a significant reduction in tariffs for Tamoran goods as well as increasing quotas for them.

Alya Safavid met with leaders of the growing Tamoran business community and they have expressed their enthusiasm following the change in tariffs. Some of them have said that they are already in contact with major Tamoran businesses back home which are now inquiring about the possibility of investing in Zimalia. Lady Safavid has also met with the leader of MAZ (Manist Association of Zimalia) and has praised the organization for spreading the word of the Prophet to the far reaches of Mundus. Lady Safavid was especially impressed with the work MAZ has done in the rural villages and how fundamentally they are being transformed.

The main announcement however came during the evening, when at the Tamoran embassy Lady Safavid held a conference with many Zimalian business and community leaders being invited. It was during this conference about the Tamoran business model that Lady Safavid announced that the Zimalian government has given the final approval for constructing a large dam that will produce hydroelectric power as well as well as provide irrigation water for the surrounding area. The mega project will take years to complete, will employ thousands of Zimalians and will provide cheap energy to the country. Furthermore, the location was confirmed to be in an area now mostly controlled by the Afolayan tribe but Lady Safavid has assured the attendees at the conference that relocations necessary for the project have already been discussed with the appropriate authorities and that Tamora will take care of the local population, mostly Afolayan, which will have to be moved.

The attendees were taken by surprise at the announcement of the project and had many questions regarding specifics like how much it will cost, who will be in charge of the project, who will be financing the project etc. Lady Safavid however informed the attendees that tomorrow a detailed plan will be presented to the public which will answer all the questions which people interested in the project might have.

Dear viewers, as we often say here: where there is faith, nothing is impossible. It would seem the future is looking brighter than ever.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

The Haghighi Dam already raised 60% of its financial requirements

The Haghighi Dam already raised 60% of its financial requirements

The Haghighi Dam will fundamentally transform the surrounding region to the benefit of Zimalia

Good news for the Haghighi Dam project, shortly after the mega project was announced to the public, it had already raised 30% of its financing requirement from foreign investors. Combined with the 30% contributed by the initial Tamoran investors, it puts the project at a comfortable 60%. Thanasis Polakis, the CEO and owner of Poliki Enenrgy, the company in charge of the project, had this to say:

“We are very pleased with the reactions and interest we got from investors. People are interested in sustainable development for Zimalia. In my opinion, one of the reasons why this project is proving successful is that it approaches Zimalia like a great opportunity and not like a country that needs help. In the end I think that’s the right approach”.

Mr. Thanasis Polakis has also said the project will now begin since the funding is adequate. One of the issues that will have to be handled is the approx. 3 thousand Afolayan tribesmen that will have to be moved in order to make room for the dam and its reservoir. Mr. Polakis has said that compensation will be given to the affected parties and that it will be according to the market value of the land. Furthermore, Polakis Energy has begun hiring construction workers and engineers in preparation of starting the construction site.

The Zimalian businessmen we have interviewed had positive things to say about the project and most expect the 5 bln dinars (USD) investment to have a noticeable impact on the economy of the region the dam is constructed.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Jalal Deer Agricultural Conglomerate (JDAC) comes to Zimalia

Jalal Deer Agricultural Conglomerate (JDAC) comes to Zimalia

The popular 6175M -175 hp tractor will soon be manufactured in Zimalia

JDAC has announced it has signed the preliminary agreement with the local authorities to build a manufacturing plant.  If all goes according to plan in about six months the factory should be operational producing the popular 6175M -175 hp tractor. The factory will employ some 500 people and many of the components would be manufactured in Tamora and assembled in Zimalia. According to JDAC representatives the investment is worth 30 million dinars (USD) and is the largest investment JDAC has made outside the Mindaranye region. Furthermore, according to JDAC much of the production of the factory will go to export.

The Haghighi Dam project advances at a rapid place

Polakis Energy have announced that the hiring of construction workers is going as planned and that soon they could begin setting up the construction site. Furthermore, the company together with Zimalian authorities has begun tackling the problem of the three thousand Zimalins villagers that will have to be moved in order to make room for the project. The Zimalian authorities have sent notifications to the villagers informing them of the future plans and the planed expropriations. Polakis Energy has confirmed that generous compensation will be provided to the villagers. The spokesman for Polakis energy had this to say:

“We know the compensation issue is a sensitive one and there is perhaps some mistrust fluid by some critics of our company. In order to avoid any misunderstanding and not leave any room for interpretation we have asked Zimalian Union of Labour  (ZUL)to handle the payments to the villagers. They have an outstanding reputation in Zimalia and we believe that will alleviate any concerns the public might have regarding the payments. I would like to thank ZUL for agreeing to manage the complex task of handling the compensation and for agreeing to do it pro bono”.

At the time of this report, the Haghighi Dam project is funded at 60% and potential investors can still apply to buy shares in the company running the project.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

The new Dena comes to Zimalia

The new Dena comes to Zimalia

The Dena was well received by Tamorans during last year's reveal

Our viewers in Zimalia can be forgiven for not knowing what the Dena is for until now it was not available in Zimalia. The Dena is the latest and most popular automobile of Tamora. While the Dena does not surprise with the latest technologies or the most powerful engines, it does surprise with very affordable prices which average around 10 thousand dinars (USD).

Khayami, the company that manufactures the Dena, has stated that at first the car will be available only in the capital of Zimalia with later this year expanding its dealership to include three more major cities. When the Dena was announced last year, TINS Tamora reported extensively about it and marketing director Halami of Khayami was saying to TINS that the Dena could potentially be the last model the company makes if it doesn’t prove successful. After almost a year the sales have been good enough to even allow the company to expand in Zimalia. The company has invested 10 million dinars(USD) so far and plans to invest 10 million more by the end of the year. Company representatives have said that ZImalia has the potential to be the number one foreign market for Dena since the car is well suited for the Zimalian market: it’s cheap, reliable and the local environmental regulations don’t hold it back like it does in the rich countries of Mundus.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

The other face of Tamoran investment in Zimalia
« Reply #13 on: April 15, 2019, 05:53:28 AM »
The other face of Tamoran investment in Zimalia

Apiculture is one of the many areas where Tamorans have invested in Zimalia

In recent months Zimalia has seen major Tamoran businesses come and invest whether is the Jalal Deer Agricultural Conglomerate, the huge Haghighi dam project or Khayami( the company that manufactures the very affordable Dena) but what’s often overlooked is the hundreds of small Tamoran entrepreneurs that have come to Zimalia and opened a business. While their initial investments are low ranging from twenty thousand dinars (USD) to two hundred thousand dinars(USD) they nevertheless make a significant contribution to the Zimalian economy because of their number. According to the latest data provided by the Tamoran emmbasy in Zimalia over two hundred small businesses have been opened by Tamorans in Zimalia. How could so many businesses open in Zimalia when there’s barely a couple of big business that have started investing in Zimalia? The answer is simple: they have been here longer. Tamoran investment has started quietly since last year after the situation with Rokkenjima calmed down and has contined and increased ever since. Some Tamoran entrepreneurs were willing to come and invest even before Zimalia has started lifting tariffs for Tamoran goods.

One such entrepreneur is the 39 year old Barin Kunashni who has come to Zimalia last year and has invested twenty thousand dinars (USD) in an apiculture business. Mr. Kunashni agreed to a short interview with us where we talked about his experiences in Zimalia:

-Fist of all, Mr. Kunashni please tells us why did you choose to come to Zimalia? It’s on a different continent and it’s not the richest of countries.
-I came here because I heard the news about Zimalia and started researching more about it. I finally decided that I was going to risk most of my money and come here.

-But why not invest in Tamora? You could have opened a business there.
-Don’t get me wrong, I love Tamora. It’s my home country but in Tamora things are different, they are established: there’s a lot more competition, everything costs more, it’s not as easy to start a business since people are more reluctant to do business with you if they don’t know you etc. Here I could do a lot with the 20 thousand dinars that I got.

-Did you experience problems here?
-Oh yes, while the Tamoran embassy and their staff have been great and have helped me understand how to work with the Zimalian authorities, I was not prepared to deal with Zimalian partners. The first deals I did I sold my products to various local businesses and asked for payment after 30-60 days as was the practice in Tamora. I never got my money back. I was shocked. And there was little I could do, the court system here is very complicated and takes a long time to sort things out and a lawyer informed me that even if I win the local businesses just file for bankruptcy and open another business. You can’t do that in Tamora! Paying our debts is sacrosanct back home and not fulfilling your financial obligations can get you in a world of trouble, including losing your freedom.

-So what did you to continue to do business here?
-Well, after I losing more than three thousand dinars (USD) and with them almost my entire business I understood that in Zimalia you have to ask for payment first and them deliver the goods: no exceptions no matter who the buyer is and how well he’s recommended. That simple rule has cost me three thousand dinars to learn but is one that I will never forget.

-Why apiculture?
-Because that’s what I did back home. I come from the kingdom of Akkar and there agriculture is on our blood. My family has been in the apiculture business for generations and I always wanted to have my own business.

- I assume most of your production goes to export.
-You’d bee surprised, at first that was the case but things rapidly changed and now over half of the sales go to the Zimalian market. The bee wax we produce is bought by many local businesses that deal in the cosmetics industry, there’s also shoe, furniture and candle manufacturing that also buys it. And of course the honey that is used by various bakeries etc. Zimalia is a huge market with lot of potential, sadly it’s not growing as much as you’d expect but there’s definitely a lot of demand.

-How many people do you employ and are there any plans to expand?
-I currently have five employees and I have informed the Tamoran embassy that I would like to hire two more. I always ask the embassy to help me find workers. Also, business despite some hiccups has been very good and I am planning to expand further. I want to get into the bee venon business, there’s a lot of potential there and it sells for huge amounts because of its therapeutical benefits, it can go as high as 240 dinars(usd) per gram.

-What can be improved in Zimalia?
-Oh, how much time do I have? But seriously, the infrastructure here doesn’t just need to be improved, in many cases it needs to be created from zero. There are many areas where I would like to deliver goods but there are no roads, there are often blackouts and dealing with Zimalian authorities has not always been a pleasant experience. If it weren’t for the Tamoran embassy things would have been much more difficult that it already was. And there’s also the issue of trust and contract enforcement here. I recently heard that Royal Seleucid has introduced some form of indentured servitude. I think something similar in Zimalia would go a long way towards improving things here.

- Thank you so much for your time.

Mr. Kunashni business is just one of the over two hundred Tamoran small businesses that now operate in Zimalia and according to the Tamoran embassy employ approx. two thousand Zimalians in various domains from agriculture, as we have just seen, to ceramic manufacturing, textiles and many more. They make a very important contribution to the Zimalian economy and help build bonds and understanding the between the two nations.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

How the Afolayan protests are hurting Zimalia’s economy
« Reply #14 on: April 24, 2019, 09:06:02 PM »
How the Afolayan protests are hurting Zimalia’s economy

The destruction left behind by the Afolayan protests is staggering. Despite their best efforts the authorities were overwhelmed and could not stop the protesters in time.

This week the capital of Zimalia was brought to a virtual standstill by the actions of the Afolayan Labour Front (ALF) which resorted to strikes following allegations made by a terrorist group with a recorded racist agenda. The damage done to the Zimalian economy is not to be ignored and unfortunately, despite President Elwes’ efforts to stop the protests the ALF are determined to continue the protests regardless of the damage they are doing to their country’s economy. It is hard understand where this determination to go against the country’s national interest for the personal gain of a specific group of people, namely the Afolayans. Their demands are to disband the Zimalian Union of Labour, a national union that caters to the interests of all ZImalins regardless of tribe and have it replaced with the Afolayan Labour Front (ALF) which obviously only represents the Afolayans. But their demands go further than that and ask for a “proportional representation” in the workforce of Zimalia which in reality will mean they will dominate all workplaces since they have 60% of the population. The idea to put quotas to protect the majority against minorities is an alarming development in Zimalia and shows that despite the great progress that has been made in recent years, tribal divisions still plagues the Afolayan community.

As one of the smallest minorities in Zimalia, we perhaps understand better than most the anger that President Elwes displayed following the protests and comprehend the real danger that a dictatorship of the majority would mean. We invited the Tamoran ambassador to our studio to talk about the recent crisis and what Tamora can do to help:

-Your Excelency, thank you for coming. Let’s get right to the point, who is right on this: the Afolayan Labour Front (ALF) or President Elwes?
- I am ambassador to Zimalia, a guest here. I am not in a position to tell which side is right on an internal matter of Zimalia. I believe Zimalia has the right institutional tools to solve the problems currently facing the country. What I can say is that all freemen have an inherit right to protest and express their grievances. I think many of your viewers have seen the massive protests in Tamora. However, there is a difference between peaceful protest and sabotaging the economy and indirectly helping the enemies of Zimalia. Because make no mistake, the terrorist group that has framed this on President Elwes the Tamoran government is a major threat for all Zimalians and these protests only help their agenda. Furthermore, I believe that citizens also have responsibilities: to listen to the leader of the country and to pay for any damage they cause. Right now, with all due respect to the Afolayan Labour Front (ALF) they are holding the Zimalian economy hostage and the protesters are causing physical destruction and damage to small business owners.

-So you don’t believe the Zimalian government went too far in suppressing the protests?
-First of all, the protests were not suppressed, the government has a responsibility to protect regular citizens from protesters and there have been incidents of violence incited by protesters as well as destruction of public property. Furthermore, the Zimalian government must also serve the interests of the people who have a job and need to get to work in order to feed their families. Also, people seems to forget that these weren’t just mere allegations meant to smear the reputation of the ZImalian president but also a personal attack on his family as many of the “allegations” were against close members of the family. In general there is a rule in politics, do not attack one’s family. You can be very critical of the personal holding public office but spare the family members, they are not involved in this. Unfortunately, the Afolayan Labour Front (ALF)  broke this unwritten rule and it doesn’t bring them honor.

- So is President Elwes right when he says that “Afolayan tribal elders wish to see Zimalia brought to its knees” ?
- I can’t comment on specific statements regarding the internal matters of ZImalia. What I can say is this: more and more Tamorans are asking if ZImalia is safe for business, before the crisis which was started by the Afolayan Labour Front (ALF) there were dozens if not more Tamoran entrepreneurs seeking to do business here, now they are not so sure anymore. Furthermore, the strike causes losses for ALL businesses each day. What does this mean? It means that ZImalia’s poverty will continue to increase. Who is poised to gain from this? Let’s just remember East Moreland and their breaking into Zimalian airspace just a few years ago. Why did they do that? First of all, because they could. Had Zimalia been more prosperous it could have afforded better military equipment and the Morelander operation could not have happened. Now look at this terrorist group that publicly states it wants to conquer the whole continent. A divided and poor Zimalia is in their best interest. I urge the Afolayan people to think about this.

-Many minorities feel threatened by the Afolayan Labour Front’s (ALF)  proposal to give at least 60% of the jobs in the workplace to the Afolayans. Is it something to worry about?
-Absolutely, it is a step backwards. It means that employers no longer can focus exclusively on the performance and the skills of the potential employees but also on their tribal affiliations. That proposal would overnight eradicate the Zimalian identity and divide people based on their tribes. Businesses would need to catalogue each employee's tribal affiliations and worry about quotas etc. But it’s worse than that, look at the studio around us. More than half of the people working are from minority tribes, a large part are women from what I see. Under such a law as the one proposed by Afolayan Labour Front (ALF), TINS ZImalia would have to lay off people despite them being competent and look for Afolayans to hire just so it can fill the quotas. The millions that are part of minority tribes of Zimalia need to consider this and come in support of  President Elwes if they think something like this is wrong.

-You said that has the institutional capability to solve the crisis, as a friend of Zimalia what can advise them?
-I haven’t been asked for advice so I would speak here hypothetically. I believe the crisis is fabricated by outside forces. The idea that President Elwes is somehow corrupt is absurd. I have had the pleasure of personally meeting the President and he was constantly preoccupied to root out corruption and to better the situation in Zimalia. Unfortunately, some individuals from the  Afolayan tribe are taking advantage of the fabricated crisis to push their agenda, the overwhelming majority of the Afolayan people are fine individuals which want nothing more than a prosperous Zimalia. So the focus should be on the few that are agitators, that cause destruction and provoke the authorities , they should be held responsible for their actions and pay for the damage they are causing. I believe measures like the ones recently introduced in Royal Seleucid, and I mean here indentured servitude, is the way to go but of course other means could be explored.

-Thanks you so much for the interview.
-My pleasure.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Reward to be given to anyone offering information that leads to the capture of AK terrorists

The Tamoran embassy has announced that it offers rewards of up to 1 million dinars (usd) to anyone who offers information that leads to the capture of the AK terrorists and the man who identifies himself as Trojan. The terrorists have published false claims that have led to riots in Zimalia and have disturbed the peace and it is expected that if left unchecked they will only increase their disruption and violence in Zimalia and the AK continent as a whole.

Expropriations done in record time thanks to Zimalian Union of Labour (ZUL)

Afolayan strike has not deterred Polakis Energy from finishing Haghighi Dam on time

Construction of the Haghighi Dam, one of the largest construction projects taking place in Zimalia, has started on time thanks to the great work of ZUL which handed out compensation to the expropriated parties in record time. Representatives of Polakis Energy have thanked ZUL for the hard work they put in handling the sensitive issues of the expropriations of the three thousand Zimalians that had to me moved in order to make room of the dam. Most of the people expropriated were Afolayan which further complicated things since leaders of this tribe have unfortunately decided to manipulate the population into believing the accusations of the AK terrorists that claimed some Zimalians officials took bribes from Tamora.

“The project in proceeded as planned” has confirmed the spokesman for Polakis Energy further adding that once the project will be completed it will fundamentally change the economy of the province it is situated in. The spokesperson was also reluctant to talk about the Afolayan strike saying that people have a right to protest but no right to engage in violence.

At the time of this report, the Haghighi Dam project is funded at 60% and potential investors can still apply to buy shares in the company running the project.

From a great dam to sand dams?

While Haghighi Dam is making headlines in Zimalia because of its huge seize, costs and impact it has, in rural ZImalia, in the villages where people have converted to Manism, a new trend in emerging: the building of sand dams. Thanks to Polakis Energy which has donated one million dinars(USD) to MAZ (Manist Association of Zimalia), several sand dams are being constructed as we speak with more to begin construction soon. Costing as low as ten thousand dinars( USD), they are a cheap way to improve people’s lives in the villages of Zimalia. They increase access to water, combat desertification, and help agriculture among other things.

The spokesman for MAZ has added that projects like these are important because they encourage sustainable development but also help create community cohesion as often most of the village is involved in building them under the supervision of engineers from Polakis Energy. They have also added that the dams will remain the property of MAZ in order to help with their maintenance in the long run and to help with the equitable distribution of water and benefits among the community.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

JDAC to give bonuses to employees who dress modestly

JDAC to give bonuses to employees who dress modestly

Jalal Deer Agricultural Conglomerate is the second most valuable business in the Tamoran Empire

JDAC, the largest Tamoran agricultural conglomerate, has announced a new bonus for the employees who dress modestly. In the case of men that means shirts with long sleeves and long pants while for mean women it requires for them to cover their head and cloths that fully cover up. The company has stated that any employee that complies with the new dress code will get a dinar/usd for each day he or she is in compliance. The company has stated that this is part of a new approach aimed that promoting good values in Zimalian society.

According to sources, the change of policy came after the owner of JDAC visited the for the first time the branch in Zimalia where they have a tractor manufacturing plant. The sources say he was appalled by how the employees dressed saying that they “dress like Lodjans” and decided to implement a new strategy in this regard. According to statistics, Zimalia is approx. 30% Muslim but many do not adhere to the dress code. JDAC hopes that with this bonus they will be able to greatly increase the number of employees who choose to dress modestly.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Machal mining wins another mining license in Zimalia

One of the mines Machal Mining already operates in Zimalia

Machal Mining wins another license to operate a large mining operation in Zimalia. The license is for ten years and Machal Mining has said that is a tremendous deal for both the company and Zimalia. Under the deal, Machal mining cannot fire any workers for at least 12 months and has to maintain a minimum number of employees at the site.

This latest licence that was won by the company makes the Zimalian operations extremely important for the company with analysts saying that with this latest mining operation,  the Zimalian business could make of almost 50 percent of the revenue of the company. Furthermore, analysts have raised concerns over the company's rapid expansion with one analyst saying:

" Machal Mining is expanding at a rate not seen before for a Tamoran company this size. Our companies unlike foreign ones are not known for taking loans so one has no wonder where is Machal Mining going to find the money to operate the latest Zimalian mines? They have spent most of the cash they had on hand on the current Zimalian operations.

We are not saying that Machal Mining is not doing good, the Zimalian operations are very profitable but we are saying that they rushed with this latest one as they simply do not have the money to raise the standard of the mine to Tamoran levels ."

Machal Mining has refused to comment this specific concerns saying instead that they will be adressed later. We remind our viewers that in Tamora there is no limited liability for companies and thus business are always private held and its shareholders are almost always close family members.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

The Haghighi Dam is nearing completion

The Haghighi Dam is nearing completion

The Haghighi Dam being built in Zimalia is the largest Tamoran investment aboard

The Haghighi Dam constriction is nearing completion representatives of Polakis Energy say. The massive project is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Zimalia and once completed it will have a significant effect on the economy of the Zimalian region it is located in. The project however is not running smoothly and has been plagued by delays.

One analyst familiar with the project said:

“ The project is too ambitious. 5 billion dinars/USD needed is an enormous amount to raise. The Tamoran economy, while not small, it is not the size of UC or Rokkenjima and is also experiencing a recession. On top of that, the Tamoran financial sector, which is fully compliant with the no usury laws (ooc: does not charge interests), is underdeveloped.  It is no surprise then that the project had to rely heavily on foreign investors in order to raise the necessary capital. However, what Polakis Energy has no doubt found out the hard way is that outside of the MidAranye region, few investors are willing to invest in the project. If you look at the where the capital raised so far is coming from we see that 30% is domestic (Tamoran investors), 10% is the King Akakois Foundation from Royal Seleucid, 20% from Pramoria State Oil Company, 5% from Clysperi Oil Corporation,5% Clysperi Refining Group and 20% from Muslim Association of Krimeon. So outside of MidAranye only twenty 20% was raised and that was thanks to a Muslim religious organization.

Mr. Polakis is now on a tour in several countries to raise the 10% or 500 mil dinars/usd that he still needs. We will see how successful he is that venture. “

However, analysts said that despite the delays the project has a good chance to be finished and once it is, it will be one of ZImalia success stories.

“All major international projects experience difficulties. The delays experienced and the troubles encountered with the Haghighi Dam is nothing new. The focus right now is on its completion. I have talked with many Tamoran businessmen as well as local Zimalians businessmen and there is a great expectation regarding it. Once completed, I expect we will see a rise in investment in that region as well as great improvement in the agricultural output. “

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Tamora remains committed to Zimalia’s security
« Reply #20 on: September 30, 2019, 04:56:17 PM »
Tamoran ambassador provides assurance that Tamora remains committed to Zimalia’s security

Ayatollah Ramin Rafsanjani, the Tamoran ambassador to Zimalia, has said Zimalia has both Tamora and God by its side

Ayatollah Ramin Rafsanjani, the Tamoran ambassador to Zimalia, gave a press statement following the announcement of the Conglomerate Rokkenjima treaty that sees Rokkenjima influence expand to the Illumic and Mhorish. The ambassador has reiterated Tamora’s support for Zimalia’s security and has reaffirmed that the Tamoran squadron of 24x Su 35 will remain stationed in Zimalia as long as it needed.
TINS- Zimalia has interviewed a Tamoran analyst in order to try and assess the security risk that Rokkenjiman expansionism means for ZImalia. Here are the main highlights:

-Does Zimalia have reason to fear the Rokkenjiman expansion to the Illumic and Mhorish?
-The short answer is yes. Rokkenjima has threatened the use of military force against Zimalia last year and only after several countries, among them being Tamora, had offered Zimalia military support did the Rokkenjiman Empire back down. With Rokkenjima back, it is likely they will soon begin to threaten Zimalia again.

-How likely is that Zimalia will be attacked by Rokkenjima ?
-It is hard to assess. Rokkenjima is engaged in a competition for spheres of influence with East Moreland and the rest of CNN so Zimalia is not the main target. Unfortunately, there is always the risk that Zimalia might be a victim of that competition and either of them could decide to attack Zimalia in order to boost their popularity back home or to further their "anti terrorism" credentials.

-What will Tamora do in the next weeks ? Can we expect Tamora to send further equipment to Zimalia?
-I think Rokkenjima expansion couldn’t have come at a worse time for Djerb. Right now Tamora is sending troops to Clysperis, its economy is not doing fine and I believe there is little desire in Djerb to send more troops aboard unless Zimalia specifically requests that.

-So Tamora is abandoning Zimalia?
-I don’t think that’s the case. One need only to look at how many Tamoran investments there are in ZImalia. Even if Djerb wanted to “abandon” Zimalia, it couldn’t because of the significant investments it has here. Not a lot people know this but Zimalia remains the country where Tamora and its businesses have invested the most of all the countries in Mundus.
That being said, things have changed a lot since last year. MidAranye is now the main focus of Djerb’s foreign policy, many of its resources are spent in Clysperis and in cross MidArnaye projects while Rokkenjima is now much stronger than last year since it has two new allies that have returned from isolation: Tytor and Novincia.

-So things do not look good for Zimalia?
- I think there are increasing risks for Zimalia’s security but not everything is bleak. As long as investments in ZImalia keep coming, the country will become more prosperous and in a better position to help itself.

That is all for today. While the news are not good, we must remain optimistic and continue to pray for peace in the country.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Those condemned by the wicked are commended by the righteous
Mr. Polakis was in the Allied States of Ardia when he heard the news that the had received the commendation

Mr. Thanasis Polakis was awarded the Order of the Lion for his contribution the betterment of Zimalians through his work at the Haghighi Dam. Mr. Polakis, who is currently on a business tour aimed at  convincing investors to invest in the project, has said that he is honored to have received such an award and is looking forward to meet Binyamin Elwes as soon as possible.

“Just a few days ago I was honored to have my name appear alongside the Tamoran Imperial family and the Supreme Ayatollah on the sanctions list of Rokkenjima. Today, I am deeply honored to see that president Elwes is now giving me award for what Rokkenjima has sanctioned me. This recognition of the efforts which are not my alone but also comprise many of the employees at Polakis Energy as well as the fabulous people at Zimalian Union of Labour is why I am determined to see the dam built and thus know that I did my part to help Zimalia prosper.”

The spokesperson for the Manist Association of Zimalia (MAZ) said that “Those condemned by the wicked are commended by the righteous” referring to the recent condemnation that Mr. Polakis has received from Rokkenjima because he has helped and continues to help Zimalia, one of the countries that was threatened several times by Rokkenjima.

Thanks to donations from Manists in Vaguzia, the capital of Zimalia has a new temple
The latest Manist temple in Zimalia

Thanks to the generous donations from the Manist community in Vaguzia, the Manist community in Mogebbe, the capital of Zimalia, now has a new temple. The Manist Association of Vaguzia has raised 150 thousand dinars /usd  which where used to buy and repurpose a house at the outskirts of the capital. The Manist Association of Zimalia reports that the number of Manists in Zimalia is growing and that there is ever increasing demand for more places of worship both in the capital and in the rural areas.

After much delay the Haghighi Dam has finally been completed

After much delay the Haghighi Dam has finally been completed

Haghighi Dam is now operational

Years after construction started and after experiencing several delays due to shortage in funding the dam has finally been completed this month. Construction of the dam had almost been suspended in the last stages of the project because of lack of funding with sources saying that the dam lacked the last 500 million Tamoran dinars/usd (out of the total of 5 billion necessary to complete it). Mr. Polakis, who was in charge of the project, had even went on a tour in Safren, Vanora, Abydos, Allied States of Ardia, Nueva Ardia, Toshikawa, Marseilles and Aquitaine in the hope that he could secure the funding necessary to finish it but he was unsuccessful. The last 500 mill Tamoran dinars/USD did eventually arrive perhaps unexpectedly from the Republic of Fleur. There was little comment from Mr. Polakis regarding Fleur’s investment in the dam with sources close to Djerb saying that most likely the investment was due more to a bilateral informal agreement between the government of Tamora and Fleur rather than Mr. Polakis’s ability to convince the secular republic to invest in the project.

Despite the setbacks, the project, now completed, is one of the biggest foreign investments in Zimalia and analysts expect it to have a notable impact in the economy of the Zimalian region where it is located. Furthermore, the dam now allows for the irrigation works to take place and vastly improve the agricultural output of the region.

Present at the inauguration were various local officials as well as the Tamoran ambassador, the Tamoran Head of Foreign affairs Alya Safavid and Mr. Polakis, among others.
We had the opportunity to interview Mr. Polakis at the event and we will mow show you some of the highlights:

-   It is no secret that the project experienced massive problems when it came to securing funding. Why do you think that happened?

-   There were many factors at play but I believe some of the key factors where that that the project was ambitions, some critics have even called it too ambitious. Another factor was that there is reluctance in the business community to invest in Zimalia and to partner with Tamoran businesses. They are used to working with Morelander, Ceinnselaig, Rokkenjiman or Arckaerin companies and they have little history working with MidAranye businesses, let alone Midaranye businesses investing aboard in countries like Zimalia. And lastly the geopolitical environment in MidAranyre changed significantly since we started the project. Midaranye has seen several huge political disagreements between Clysperis and Royal Seleucid, a civil war break out in Clysperis that drew not only a lot of Djerb’s attention but also meant a redirection of funds towards Clysperis. That environment did not create the conditions to foster a climate of confidence that would allow Tamoran businesses in particular and  MidAranye businesses in  general to invest aboard in faraway Zimalia.

-   This is the largest Tamoran investment aboard. Tell us a bit about the impact.

-   While the project was started and is managed by a Tamoran business only 30% of its funding comes from Tamora. 40% came from other Midaranye countries such as Royal Seleucid, Clysperis and Pramoria so in a way this can be called a MidAranye project.  As far as the impact goes, I can say that hundreds of companies were involved in the construction of the  dam in some way. Many of them were from Tamora and obviously that was a boost for the Tamoran economy but there were also quite a few from Royal Seleucid, CLysperis, Pramoria Abuqiya, Abydos and Quintelia. When the civil war in Clysperis started, there was some pressure to look for other partners to replace the ones in  Clsysperis because it was assumed the war would negatively  affect the ability of Clysperis companies to meet their assumed obligation under the contracts they had with us. We are proud to say that we didn’t and our faith in the Clysperis companies proved to not be misplaced. I also think the project was a great opportunity to have partners from so many MidAranye countries and work together on a project of such a great scale. I believe it created a networking that will  help the business environment in the region to better cooperate against outside competition and also create more opportunities in the future.
And there is of course the impact on the Zimalian economy which also benefited greatly, the project created thousands of jobs, invested in the local infrastructure and traning of personnel, attracted other businesses that want to benefit from the agricultural opportunities that are now available as well as the very affordable energy which  the dam will provide.

-     What is next for the project now that it is finished?

-     Now we reap the benefits so tosay. We expect the project to bring in for the shareholders around 200 million Tamoran dinars/USD every year. As I said before the shareholder structure is very diverse, a quarter of that will go to Tamoran companies but 10% of it will go to the King Akakio Foundation which will continue its great work in Royal Seleucid, 10% of will go to Clysperis Oil Corporation and  Clysperi Refning group which will allow those companies to continue to invest in CLysperis at a time when the Clysperi economy needs it the most, 5% will go to the wonderful people and organizations in Zimalia that made the project possible like the  Zimalian Union of Labour and various NGOs. As for Polakis Energy we are already exploring the possibility of starting another major investment aboard. Perhaps not as ambitious as this one but nevertheless one that will, I believe, make headlines.

Those were the main highlights of the interview. We would also like to add, that during the inauguration of the dam, a brief religious ceremony and prayer was held in the memory of Dilara Haghighi, the Tamoran martyr whose name the project carries.

Until next time: God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!

Massive irrigation system announced
« Reply #26 on: June 05, 2020, 12:56:51 PM »
Massive irrigation system announced in the province where the Tamoran financed dam is located

Jalal Deer will use its expertise to bring irrigation to the areas near the Haghighi Dam

Jalal Deer, the largest Agicultural conglomerate in Tamora, has announced it has won a bid to build an extensive irrigation system that will be linked to the Tamoran financed Haghighi Dam. The project is estimated to cost around 150 million dinars (USD) and it is financed by the Tamora Imperial Bank.

The irrigation project is a major boon for the landowners in the area since upon completion their arable land will be worth several times more than what it was worth just a year before. One analyst from the Tamoran Imperial Bank explained that the increase in price is due to the fact that the poor agricultural land will now produce rich crops yields: "Naturally this will increase the value of that agricultural land that has access to irrigation. And it's not only the landowners that will benefit from this but all Zimalians because a high agricultural output will benefit Zimalia as a whole."

According to sources, among the biggest landowners that will benefit from the increase in value are the Manist Association of Zimalia (MAZ), the Jalal Deer Agricultural Conglomerate and other a few other Tamoran businesses.

The Tamoran ambassador to Zimalia has said that the irrigation system is the 'final piece of the puzzle of a very large project that I can say, without modesty, that is of national importance to Zimalia. It has been a very long journey but the plan is now close to completion to the benefit of both Zimalia and Tamora."

Sources familiar with the agricultural farms in the area have said that one of the beneficiaries of the boost in agricultural activity is the Morelander company OsmanTech. That is because many of the farms in the region use the so called “golden rice” which was developed by OsmanTech. Though some analysts have said the use of golden rice in those areas might be uncertain as there are rumors that the CNN countries will use slavery as an excuse to push for further sanctions in an attempt to curb Tamoran activity in Zimalia in particular and aboard in general.

God bless the Eternal President! God bless Tamora!
