I have been thinking for a while now that we should come up with a name for the region of Venora-Tamora and Royal Seleucid. Maybe even include Slava Lavosk here. I am thinking of a name that would particularize the region a bit. Like when you say Middle East, you tend to have a picture in mind.
The way is see it V-T-RS-SL(?) tend to have the following things in common:
- religion is important though the landscape is very diverse.
- not the best record of human rights
- rich in resources (I don't know of Vanora, but the others have oil)
- not the most developed of regions.
- a lot of sites of religion significance (Vanora is king here, but Tamora and RS also have some sites).
Now I don't mean for the name to appear on the map or have any implications other than simply identify the region of the continent better.
I haven't managed to come up with any reasonable suggestions. All I have is:

OK, so a very good suggestion from Dave is Midaranye. It's simple. easy to remember and suggestive. I'll leave the thread/discussion open for another week. If we don't get an even better suggestion (and nobody objects) we go with Midaranye.
