The News Outlets of Nichitishithat actually matter

The Altıntuğ Report (TAR)
Spoiler: show

The Altıntuğ Report was established by Vildan Aoi in 2001, the same day that the modern Nichitishi state was born. TAR handles international and national news, and is the leading news organization in Nichitishi.

Bostancı Worker's Newspaper (BİG)
Spoiler: show

The BİG, while initially a group of local village newspapers that initially only reported internal issues of the Bostancı region under one name, with the Bostancı region joining Nichitishi, expanded their operations to the rest of Nichitishi. The news network prides itself on "reporting what the TAR wouldn't report".

Himizu News (Himinyu)
Spoiler: show

Having been established over a century ago by the reigning duchess in the insular Serene Himizu Duchy, the Himinyu is the primary source for others in Nichitishi for what's going on in the isolated duchy.

The Politics of Nichitishi

Current Chancellor: Ziynet Mahvaş Yamadagil (CUP)
Current Vice-Chancellor: Vacant (N/A)

Minister of Defense: TBD
Minister of Internal Affairs: TBD
Minister of Industry and Commerce: Minister Itou Elmacıpınarlı (LUP)
Minister of Finance: TBD
Minister of Education: TBD
Minister of Infastructure: TBD

The government of Nichitishi is a federal bicameral parlimentary republic, with the Chancellor being the head of the government and state. Legislative power rests in the Assembly of Representatives, the Chancellor being responsible for the appointing Vice-Chancellor, ministers and cabinet members for the executive branch. Federal elections happen every 4 years, votes for political parties (seats in the lower house) and the chancellor are casted seperately. The 300 seats are divided by the D' Hondt method. The chancellor is elected using a two-round system.

The upper house of Nichitishi, the Council of Republics, consists of 80 seats, occupied by 10 representatives appointed by the Chancellor, 10 appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, the governments of states in Nichitishi appointing another 10 representatives each for a total of 40, and the rest of the 20 seats being occupied by representatives of parties proportional to the amount of seats they have in the lower house. The upper house has little power, being unable to initiate legislation, their primary goal is to provide advisory to the lower house, represent underpopulated regions such as Himizu and Bostancı, and scrutinise legislation. They may delay legislation for up to a month to be reviewed and the upper house may also suggest amendments to the legislation, though the lower house may reject these suggestions by vote.

The Current Situation of the Seats in the Assembly
(There's going to be the number of seats the each party occupies here when I finish it.)

Nation Name:- The Free Republic of Nichitishi
Type of government: Federal Parlimentary Republic
GDP per capita: 11.160 $
Population: 31,200,000
National Service: Yes, all physically and mentally fit citizens are subject to a minimum of 6 months of service. State law may extend this period of conscription, but not shorten it.

What if any military threats does your nation face? Different states of the federation who wouldn't mind seceding from Nichitishi or other seperatist movements.

What is your nations landscape like? The regions around the capital of Altıntuğ and the Bostancı state is flat, with forests dotted around the land. The Ortaorda-Chuorta state is hilly and barren. The Himizu state is mountainous and colder.

How technologically advanced is your nation? Most of the equipment Nichitishi holds was seized from warlords, who had either bought or stole various equipment. The development level is modern, but definitely not cutting-edge.

Historically how has your military been used? Unifying Nichitishi as a country, fighting warlords.

What is your nations current foreign policy stance? Preventing various seperatist movements from gaining power, and discouraging other countries from trying to help them. Also building trade relations if possible.

The States of Nichitishi

Altındağ Nichitishi Capital Region (ANCR)
Spoiler: show

"The one who controls Altıntuğ-to is also the one who controls Nichitishi. Forwards!"
- Chancellor Ziynat Mahvaş Yamadagil, during the siege of Altıntuğ-to.

While this states name is based on the region of "Altındağ" (Translation: Golden Mountain), it might as well only be called Altıntuğ-to due to the city's importance to the state and the general country of Nichitishi. Altıntuğ-to, since it's founding in the early 6th Century by native North Cabbagelandetians has inspired many upstarts trying to take it, and even the weak Imperial Nichitishi state managed to maintain a shred of influence due to being the one who controlled this city.

Government Type: Federal Capital
Population: 12.070.000
Capital City: Altıntuğ-to (5.270.000 people)
Demonym- Altıntağlin

ECONOMY

Altıntuğ-to, as the most populated city, also contains most Nichitishi industry. Raw goods from other states are bought by the local Altındağ and manufactured into more refined consumer goods. The city is most famous for its long-standing tradition of manufacturing sturdy furniture that "shall never break until all the water in the whole bloody world dries up" along with Altındağ garnaments made from Bostancı cotton that "are as sturdy as the farmers who harvested the cotton".

Currency: The Nichitishi lira (₺)
GDP per Capita: To be done (but it is higher than the other states.)
Unemployment Rate: To be done (but it is lower than other states.)
Main Industries: Furniture manufacturing, textiles and clothing items, other consumer goods

PEOPLE

The city of Altıntuğ-to is home to a unique Nichitishi group, the Metropolitan Nichitishi who are even a bigger homogenous mix of ethnicities that statistical officials gave up on trying to seperate. The rest of the more heterogenous population lives in the rural regions of Lesser Altındağ.

Name of Legislative Body: The Council of Republics

Ortaorda-Chuorta Republic (O-CR)
Spoiler: show
"So federal that we have a federal republic under our federal republic."
- Anonymous citizen

The Ortaorda and Chuorta regions were the original centers of the North Cabbagelandetian nomads, who used the regions rich mines to arm themselves and establish an advantage over other surrounding peoples, some establishing permenant settlements with the looted wealth from their neighbours. This came to and end with the arrival of the Mid Aranyans, and the North Cabbagelandetians were the ones being looted this time. The state was founded when the Northern Ortaorda state were subjugated by the forces of the local Southern Chuortan Warlord Hibiki Serpil Ono of the Ono Clique, who wasn't much of a supporter of Vildan Aoi's revolution, but decided to help her so she would not be deposed of by the new Nichitishi state later. This plan didn't work out as a coalition of Ortaorda warlords, concerned of the new upstart, forced her to retreat back to her home in Southern Chuorta. The Nichitishi state had to intervene, deposing the Ono Clique while at it and establishing the Ortaorda-Chuorta Republic as a new state in the Free Republics of Nichitishi.

Government Type: Federal Parlimentary Republic
Population::- 9.340.000
Capital City: Nevkara (1.270.000 people)
Demonym: Ortaordan/Chuortan

ECONOMY

Most of the economy of the state is based on the rich mines of the Chuorta, as the Ortaorda factories work day and night to refine the mined resources to other goods.

GDP per Capita: To be done (but it is higher than the other states.)
Unemployment Rate: To be done (but it is lower than other states.)
Main Industries: Steel, arms manufacturing, mining, other heavy industries

PEOPLE

Most of Chuorta and Ortaorda's population are distributed in small mining villages, with North Cabbagelandetian nomads being a surprisingly common sight.

Ethnicity: 34% North Cabbagelandetian, 31% Nichitishi, 17% Kyabetsunin, 11% Rokkenjiman, %7 Other
Languages: Southern Nichitishi Cabbagelandetian, Northern Cabbagelandetian, Rokkenjiman, other Mid Aranyen
Religions: 34% Northern Brassicanism, 27% Rosari, 23% Orthodox Brassicanism, 6% Manism, 10% Other
Average Life Expectancy:- ~65

GOVERNMENT

The Ortaorda-Chuorta Republic is also known as "little Nichitishi" due to its governmental system being very similar, and the Chuorta-Ortaorda state itself is divided into three smaller states, the Northern Chuorta, the Southern Chorta and Ortaorda.

Head of Federal Government: President Madenci Yamadağ Paşa
Head of Northern Chuorta State: Mayor Hibiki Serpil Ono
Head of Southern Chuorta State: Mayor Sevgi Yamadagil
Head of Ortaorda State: Mayor Demirci Çelik Bey
Name of Legislative Body: The Ortaorda-Chuorta Council

Bostancı Agrarian Council (BAC)
Spoiler: show
"Maybe they'd stop looking down at us if we just left."
- First Speaker Samet Hiroto Itogazi, adressing the Grand Peasant's Council

The Bostancı Agrarian Council is one of the oddest states of Nichitishi, as it isn't exactly one entity but a group of villages with independent councils who have loosely banded together in the name of defense. This odd construction came about in the Warlord Era, as the Bostenmedav region, which was and is a highly fertile rural region with scattered villages strewn about, found itself in trouble when the Empire collapsed. The pre-Empire lords had usually made sure to not let their source of income (the peasantry) fall to looting. With the Empire most lords had been attempted to put under the Empire's central control, but this failed and when the Empire quickly dissolved the villages had not much to protect themselves from warlords who needed food for their armies. This ended in a net of local alliances that slowly expanded and ended in the Bostancı Agrarian Council being formed. The council eventually had to accept to be under the federal government as even all the villages united wouldn't be able to stand against the rest of Nichitishi.

"Government" Type: Agrarian Communes
Population:: 6,270,000
Capital City: Kirazpoli (560.000 people)
Demonym: Bostancılı

ECONOMY

The title of "the Breadbasket of Nichitishi" is no exeggeration, as the Bostancı communes make most of their income by exporting produce to the other states of Nichitishi, though they also have to spend most of that income by importing most of their consumer goods from other states of Nichitishi as the industrial capability of Bostancı is very little.

Currency: The Nichitishi lira (₺)
GDP per Capita: To be done (but it is much lower than the other states.)
Unemployment Rate: To be done
Main Industries: Agriculture, fishing, forestry

PEOPLE

Due to the rural nature of Bostancı, the state is home to a heterogenous population that is rare to find in Nichitishi.

Ethnicity: 27% North Cabbagelandetian, 26% Rokkenjiman, 21% Kyabetsunin, 11% Mid Aranyen, 7% Nichitishi, 8% Other
Languages: North Cabbagelandetian, Rokkenjiman, other Mid Aranyen
Religions: 31% Rosari, 19% Orthodox Brassicanism, 18% Northern Brassicanism, %11 New Brassicanism, 8% Islam, 3% Manism, 10% Other
Average Life Expectancy:- ~65

GOVERNMENT

The Grand Agrarian Council in Bostancı has little to no power, acting as the representatives to the federal government. Most decisions are taken by local village councils.

Head of Council: First Speaker Pirooz Ducerbani
Name of Legislative Body: The Grand Agrarian Council

Serene Duchy of Himizu (SDH)
Spoiler: show
"What sort of republic has a monarchy in it?"
- A member of the Council of Republics, objecting to the addition of Himizu to the Republic

The Serene Duchy of Himizu is one of the states that never got ravaged by much war thanks to the virtue of not being worth to invade. The duchy was founded by Serene Duchess Yūko the First, who lead a rebellion of Himizuchin Rokkenjimans in the early 17th Century. The mountainous and barren lands of Himizu were deemed worthless by the local lord and the new duchy was allowed to be independent. For the rest two hundred years the duchy was idle, and it's only military action was gathering more mountainous barren land from neighbouring warlords during the Warlord Era. After the Republic was declared, Himizuchi reluctantly joined to not be bothered by the Republic and keep their isolation.

Government Type: Absolute Monarchy
Population:: 3.520.000
Capital City: Misudaş (1,100,000 people)
Demonym: Himizuchin

ECONOMY

Himizu is one of the most isolated states in the Republic, rarely importing or exporting any goods, though Himizu textiles are known for their smoothness and quality. Other than that, Himizu is a mountainous and barren land, meaning that there is not much to export anyways.

Currency: The Himizuchin mizen (#), the Nichitishi lira (₺)
GDP per Capita: To be done (but it is lower than the other states.)
Unemployment Rate: To be done (but it is higher than the other states.)
Main Industries: Agriculture, fishing, textiles

PEOPLE

The state of Himizu is the only state where there's a majority Rokkenjiman population, though the amount of Rokkenjimans is only almost equal to the minority Rokkenjimans found in Bostanlı due to the low amount of population in Himizu.

Ethnicity: 89% Rokkenjiman, 7% Kyabetsunin, 4% Other
Languages: Himizuchin Rokkenjiman
Religions: 87% Rosari, 11% Northern Brassicanism, 2% Other
Average Life Expectancy:- ~60

GOVERNMENT

The Duchess has all the executive power in Himizu, and the council is nothing more than an advisory council (as its name implies).

Head of State: Serene Duchess Yūko IV Himizu
Heir to Throne: Princess Shizukahime Himizu
Head of Council: Advisor Takahiro Fujimoto
Name of Legislative Body: The Advisory Council

Links to Important events?.
BiographyZiynat Mahvaş Yamadagil was born in 1990 to a family of Northern Brassican miners in the Southern Chuorta region, which was under the control of a local warlord at the time. She went to a local church school and worked odd-jobs around her village, farming and helping carry mined goods around.

Things changed for her as she managed to get a scholarship at the Imperial Altıntuğ-to University, moving to the capital of the Empire. There, she heard the radical ides of Nichitishi unification, though people there had different ideas who or what the country should be unified under. She joined a local political organization, the Nichitishi Abolition and Unification Organization, and quickly became its leader due to her leadership skills.

Her education and political organizing quickly stopped though, as the Empire fell apart and the May Revolution started. Ziynat enlisted under Vildan Aoi's troops. While she wasn't in any ways adept with military tactics, her fervent speeches were enough for her troops to march to victory. Even then, she managed to convince more capable officers by her side to do the military side of her work for her. Due to her efforts in the capture of Altıntuğ-to, Ziynat resigned from her military career as a war hero and got elected as mayor in her home region, and later, the Chancellor of Nichitishi after Vildan Aoi's resignation.

Known as a capable leader of men, Ziynat Mahvaş Yamadagil may not be capable in other areas of governance, but knows the value of gathering and listening to capable people. As an ex-military woman, one of her primary goals as Chancellor is to strenghten the capabilities of the Nichitishi army, experienced yet highly lacking in equipment due to years of war, to protect against any possible internal and external threats, and find allies to help the young Nichitishi state.

Received the "Commander's Medal of Honour" for "exceptional leadership in service to the Nichitishi state".

Niçitişi Özgür Halklar Respublikası (Cabbagelandetian)
二チジチシ共和国 (Rokkenjiman)
جمهوری های رایگان نیچیتیشی (Parthian)

Work to Freedom, Freedom to Us.
National Anthem: Break Your Chains, Nichitishi!

BACKGROUND

Nichitishi is an odd construct of ethnicities, originally formed by the slave owners from the Mid Aranye region looking for new ventures in the 16th Century. The traders set up trading posts along the Albion coast, bringing their culture and religion with them. What the traders didn't expect to find though, was the rich gold reserves of the Central Nichitishi. The slave traders quickly enslaved the local North Cabbagelandetian population to work in the mines, and when that wasn't enough, accepted free people from neighbouring countries. The once traders quickly became regional lords on their own right, declaring independence from their homelands to escape from taxation. Things continued in this fashion until the late 19th Century, when the gold mines started to run dry and the local rulers didn't have enough money to keep their people fed, and most importantly, armies paid. Many different people had, mostly involuntarily, immigrated to Nichitishi until then, and the already weak and small states shattered into smaller pieces due to ethnic and religious conflict (this period of mass civil unrest would come to be collectively known as the Great Nichitishi Wars) The Great Nichitishi Wars lasted until the early 20th century, until an alliance by the name of the Central Lake Federation (a union between smaller states which controlled Altıntuğ-to, the most prosperous city in the region) started to exert it's pressure on the smaller states, and eventually formed the Free Nichitishi Empire.

The Free Nichitishi Empire wasn't popular, as it again fell under the control of the descendants of the Mid Aranyen elite, who had managed to keep their wealth through the conflict. The Empire only lasted 23 years, and on the death of it's first Emperor fell into a long period known as the Warlord Era, where local warlords with no regards to central Empire authority ran rampant.

The modern state of Nichitishi was formed in the May of 2001, following the death of the second Emperor and the official dissolution of the Free Nichitishi Empire. An abolitionist by the name of Vildan Aoi kickstarted the May Revolution, quickly gaining supporters and seizing the former capital of Altıntuğ-to in 2015. The new government concerned itself with its own internal instability for the next five years.

With the voluntary resignation of Chancellor Vildan Aoi, the Republics have appointed a new Chancellor, Ziynet Mahvaş Yamadagil. The present day Nichitishi is looking to break its isolation and establish cordial relations with its neighbours, and strengthen its military against any who may threaten its freedom.

To: The the Different Nations of Mundus

It is with great delight that I announce that the wedding between I and Grand Duchess Alys Arsenault shall take place in the following days. The wedding shall take place in the Lahanezyan Square, near my palace. We hope that the Heads of State, along with their guests, will be able to attend to such an important event.

We look forward to welcoming you in Cabbagelandiet on the following days.
Grand Preacher Brassicus II of Cabbagelandiet

14
"Ah, bloody hell Alys! I'm not the man to let a woman like you be wasted in some abandoned-factory-palace!" said Brassicus. He was thinking of something more clever to say, but 'Alys' interrupted his thoughts.

Brassicus was quite shocked by the fact that 'Alys' wasn't Alys. But still, his shock was supressed by a sense of apathy. Did he really care about who the woman in front of him was? No, quite frankly, Brassicus didn't care. He had already 'accepted' Alys, so why shouldn't he accept Allyson? Allyson was better than Alys. She wasn't an incompetent hedonist who ruined her country, she was some poor soul who had been caught in the terrible storm called "politics".

Brassicus started laughing uncontrollably. He had noticed 'Alys' slipping down, possibly to a some sort of weapon. Brassicus then quickly got his pistol and mace out, throwing his weapons far away. "Oh you lovely fucking fool! Don't worry, you won't have to kill me! Here, I am now unarmed for Brassicus Prime's sake, kill me now if you want to!" he went silent for a second, having a slight fear of getting killed, before continuing "I 'accepted' your bloody sister, your inbred hedonistic mangy perfidious cunt of a sister! If that hasn't stopped a fool like me, then you needn't be worried, some secret isn't going to stop me from loving you!" He fell on to 'Alys's shoulders as he started crying, while still laughing. "Bloody hell! And I was worried that you were actually Alys, and that I'd have to make some sort of hard moral decision by accepting someone who caused war and hell!"

Brassicus stayed silent for a minute, calming down and wiping his tears. "Bloody hell... Bloody hell... You know my dear Allyson, if I didn't have an intention of being your partner, me being here is a pretty stupid idea. Everybody thinks I'm some lustful naive fool, blinded by some harpyinious Duchess. If we were to look at the side of 'politics' and whatnot, then marrying you, heck, being around you is a stupid idea. But here is Mr. Lahana Vaizi Brassicus, son of Ağustos Karınlıbahar Brassicus, believing that unconditional love between two invidivuals in this hellscape called 'Mundus' can still exist."

"Anyways, your secrets safe with me Allyson. You shall be Alys to everyone else, but to me, you shall be Allyson." said Brassicus, getting the black box containing the ring into his hand again. "So, I hope I won't have to repeat this statement again, will... Will you marry me Allysson?"

15
"Of course, I want you to spend more time here! It's pretty lonely and boring around here when you aren't around. Being Grand Preacher isn't anything exciting, Cabbagelandiet is a small, quaint place. Nothing really happens around here." Brassicus laughed "And of course... I'm flattered that you still want to finish that certain conversation after... my stupidly stupid rambles."

The rest of the trip went pretty uneventfully. Brassicus showed Alys around the Council Building, and it's wooden columns adoring the walls. After that, the Shortchurch Church, where his wife Bergit was in eternal rest. Brassicus made sure to mutter a few words of prayer while passing by her grave. The Old Isauros Palace was more important in historical aspects rather than modern day aspects. It was now a "publiceum", renovated to house soup kitchens, homeless shelters and whatnot. Brassicus told Alys of its original occupants, how they were deposed by his father, a commoner now known as Brassicus I. Brassicus then made his way to the Orgenizesanayi District, two places that were right next to each other. He showed Alys around the various massive Cabbagelandetian factories. Lastly, he showed Alys around the Lahanezyan Square with it's various quaint shops. He decided to buy Alys a fitting hat while he was there.

After the tour was done, Brassicus decided to go back to the palace, still hand-in-hand with Alys. He decided that he'd get Alys some tea. "You know Alys, I feel like I'm forgetting something..." he said, on the way to the palace. "...Oh right! Our little conversation that ypu wanted to visit!" Brassicus smiled and got out a black box out of his pocket, and opened the black box, unsurprisingly revealing a ring. "Well Alys, I think you can guess what I'll say. Ahem, do you want to marry me?"

It seems that fate had doomed Brassicus to waiting. Waiting for people in front of his palace in freezing, snowy weather. Normally, he'd complain to himself and question why he wouldn't just hire someone to wait in front of his palace for him. But he wasn't complaining today, as he was waiting for someone very special to him. Brassicus had of course went out early for such a special guest/occasion.

After waiting for half an hour, he finally saw Alys coming. He quickly ran towards her, kissing and hugging her at the same time before talking.

"Alys! I've been waiting for you for such a long time! I hope you've forgotten all the emberassing moments that happened last time we were together..." Brassicus was mentioning the Lodjan wedding, of course. "...But I'm happy to see you! And I hope you are happy to see me as well!" Brassicus coughed before resuming to talk "Ahem, anyways. I've heard you wanted a trip 'round Brasscirom?" he quickly whipped out a map of Brasscirom out from his pockets, the same pockets that carried the engagement ring he planned to use later in the day. "I think there'd be four major locations we could visit..." Brassicus pointed to the locations as he spoke "... The Cabbagelandetian Council building, the Shortchurch Church, a lovely building it is, the Old Isauros Palace, now a publiceum, and the Organizesanayi District, the heart of Cabbagelandetian industry. Also, thinking of it, there's also the Lahanezyen Square that could be of interest. So where do you want to start with?"

Brassicus looked over the ball room. He sat on the Cabbagelandetian table, waiting for Katarina and Peterhoff to come. He planned to see them before dancing with Alys, if he had the energy by then. He talked with Alys while waiting for the children.

"All these places in this... place sure are grand!" said Katarina, talking to Peterhoff and Cséynep while entering the ball room. "I do see a lack of hats though. No place is grand without hats." Peterhoff commented. "You and your bloody hats, Pete. Might as well stop being the heir to Cabbagelandiet and make yourself a Hatlandiet." said Cséynep, rolling her eyes at Peterhoff "Anyways, we should see your old man before we go off mingling with the Lodc- Lodz- Lodç-..." she paused a moment to try to remember how to spell "Lodjan". She gave up, as Cabbagelandetian didn't have the 'J' sound, nor did she know how to 'J'. After much thinking, Cséynep just gave up and blurted out "...Lodçalyalılar. Lanet olası Lodçalyalılar."[1] Peterhoff laughed "Hey, I think you just invented a way to say "Lodjan" in Cabbagelandetian. Congratulations Cséynep!".

Brassicus had noticed his fellow Cabbagelandetians and had been waving at them, hoping the three would notice him. After 5 minutes of waving his hands like a mad-man, the three noticed him and finally arrived at the Cabbagelandetian table. Cséynep shook hands with Brassicus and Alys, while Peterhoff and Katarina hugged their father.

"I see you have brought Ms. Alys along." said Peterhoff, proceeding to shake Alys' hands. "Anyways, I think I'll be off to find a partner!" said Peterhoff, quickly proceeding to leave the Cabbagelandetian table. He knew who he wanted, though hopefully the person he wanted to dance with was here. Peterhoff started searching around the ball room, trying to find Darya.

Katarina and Cséynep didn't really have a plan, so the two sat around, waiting for someone to offer them to join for dance.

To: The Members of Tuna

I apologize for my late reply to the whole debt situation, the press has reported it way before I could write any sort of reply. I underestimated the quickness of the foreign press, and I hope that this whole misunderstanding can be fixed.

Cabbagelandiet may have the money to pay the "debt", we do not wish to break up the previously proposed arrangements. It'd be tremendously foolish and impolite to kick out and ignore the nations who have helped build a modern port in Cabbagelandiet.

With hopes of relations turning back to normal,
Signed,
Grand Preacher Brassicus II of Cabbagelandiet

To: My dear Alys Arselnaut.

I hope you've been doing well, dear. It's been a while since you and I have had a private moment together in a non-diplomatic environment. I think it'd be lovely to go or do something together. Perhaps you'd like to propose somewhere we could go? Or should I find something for us to do?

Hoping to hear from you soon,
Lahana Vaizi

"Friendship, huh. What a queer word to hear when doing diplomacy. Anyways, you'll have my friendship, true and honest. Though I'll have to discuss a discount of the usage of facilities by Rokkenjima with Kara Rsizadam later." Brassicus then proceeded to finish his cup of tea, and then poured himself a new cup of tea before proceeding to speak.

"Well, I can assure you that yes, she hasn't said the nicest and the most pleasent of words about you..." said Brassicus at the mention of Alys "... but I think she is actually a lovely person now. She has been... Nothing but nice to me. I hope I haven't fallen into delusion... But saying that, isn't love a delusion in and of itself?" Brassicus took a second to think: He hadn't actually written to Alys in a while. Nor had he had a chance to go out with her expect the diplomatic occasion. Perhaps he would write Alys a letter, asking how she was and... Anyways he was getting a bit distracted. He'd think of such things after he finished speaking to the Empress. "Anyways, I'm getting a bit off-topic here. Pretty sure I'm not here to do philosophy about love, am I?" said Brassicus as he laughed and as he sipped his tea.

21
"Please, do not be sorry for what you haven't caused, it was all my foolish foolery that caused this whole quarrel." replied Brassicus in an apologetic voice.

"Yes, you would be correct. For the modernization of a port Cabbagelandiet incurred some debt..." Brassicus went quiet as the Empress presented the document. "Brassicus Prime bless, please do not-" Brassicus decided that resistence to the money would be futile, and decided that being in "debt" to Rokkenjima (he wasn't a man to accept something for free and not give something back) was better than being in debt to the any other nations.

"Well... I do... Erm... I am humbled." Brassicus stumbled as he tried to find words appropriate for the situation. "I hope Cabbagelandiet'll be able to pay you in an another way." Brassicus then took the document. "I'll have to hand this to Rsizadam once we're done. I do thank you for what you've done."

"And now that all the treaty stuff is done..." Brassicus took a long sip out of his tea before continuing to speak. "...I've heard that you have some concerns about a certain Duchess I've been courting."

22
Brassicus bowed down as well. "I think we should get inside before having any discussion. Cabbagelandetian weather is a cruel mistress and I don't think you want to catch a cold, Your Highness." said Brassicus laughing, he then went into his humble "palace", and reached his quaint living room. There he had prepeared tea for the Empress and for himself, and the tea sat on a table between two couches.

"Please, feel yourself at home." said Brassicus, taking a seat on one of the couches. He took a sip out of his cup of tea then slipped a the treaty Beatrice had proposed before in the letter on to the table. "I think it's time to right a mistake I made." said Brassicus, putting his signature on the treaty.

23
It was another snowy February day in Cabbagelandiet, the streets were empty and the Cabbagelandetian citizens were inside their homes, probably drinking thier tea. Grand Preacher Lahana Vaizi Brassicus II was standing in front of his "palace", if you could call an old factory a "palace", waiting for his guest, Beatrice, with a hot cup of tea in his hand.

After about 15 minutes of waiting for his guest, Brassicus had went out a bit too early to wait for Beatrice, he saw Beatrice coming. He sipped all of his tea down and then put his tea-cup away on a window sill and prepeared to greet the Empress.

24
(OOC - This reply is after Brassicus apologized to Beatrice over at the Xæthoon enthronement.)

To Empress Beatrice Anselmo

I hope that you've forgiven me for my uncouthness in our first meeting. I invite you to a meeting in Cabbagelandiet, in my palace, in hopes of signing the treaty and a revitilizatşon of relations between our nations.

May Brassicus Prime bless us all,
                   Signed,

Grand Preacher Brassicus II of Cabbagelandiet and the Church of Brassica Prime.

"Lahana you troglodyte!" mumbled Brassicus, realizing what foolery he had done.

"Sorry Alys... I might've gotten a bit excited when I found that box lying around." Brassicus decided to just shut up for once and just watch the ceremony, winking back at Alys' wink.

Brassicus was quite... bored of the Lodjan ceremony. People were getting wed or whatnot, sure, but couldn't they just get to the bloody point? Brassicus' boredom didn't last long as he fell asleep with his head on Alys' shoulder. His sleep was interrupted by someone shouting "MAKE WAY FOR THE ESCORT!" Brassicus woke up, a bit annoyed, then made his way out in his sleep-drunken state.

"Bloody hell, I need a drink." mumbled Brassicus, trying to get his flask of tea from his pocket. Instead he accidentally got out a small black box from his pocket. Then he remembered why he had gone to this whole wedding thing: It was to propose to Alys of course! He quickly put the ring-containing box into his pocket and started thinking of ways to get Alys into mood for a proposal. He stood still, not really listening to Dragan and planning what to say to Alys.

Brassicus waited for Dragan to finish speaking and then turned around to Alys, holding her hand. "Alys, you know, with all this 'wedding' stuff going on... Don't you think it'd be nice if we... Erm..." Brassicus took the small black box out from his pocket and opened the box, revealing a silver engagement ring. "... If we... Ah, Brassicus Prime damnit, let me just cut to the point. My dear Alys, would you like to marry me?"

"Bloody hell!" Brassicus exclaimed as King Lapu bumped into him. "Urm... Hello. Nice to meet you aswell. My official title would be... Grand Preacher." Brassicus, happy that he managed to not screw up meeting Lapu, turned around to Alys.

"Wait... What were we talking about again my dear Alys?" said Brassicus to Alys, as he had forgotten his conversation with Alys while talking to Lapu.

"Uhh... Alright Alys..." Brassicus said confused, trying to understand what just had happened. "D-did I do something wrong d-dear?" he said calmly, finding a seat for Alys. He started twiddling with his thumbs sitting idly. "You've been a-acting like there is something w-wrong with me, and you've been acting a bit... s-strange."

Brassicus' voice was getting a whole lot shakey and stressed as he went on talking. "And... Err... Umm... Would-d y-you care to voi... T-tell me what is wrong m-my de... Umm... Dear?"

"Thank you for the advice, but I don't drink. I think I'll be drowning myself in tea if you have any, and last time I checked tea doesn't make you get hungover." Brassicus laughed and made his way to get salted. He had gotten purified before, so he could pass, but he decided to stay with Alys and get re-purified while waiting becouse why not. He had time, he wasn't rushing for anything.

"Bloody hell, pretty sure they purified my hat, not me!" said Brassicus to Alys, beginning to shake the salt off of his hat. He continued to shake the salt off of the rest of his clothing items while on his way to the palace, which irritatingly his coat had caught a lot of salt.

"I believe I've never met you before! You're King David aren't you? I'm Grand Preacher Brassicus II, an honor to meet you." he said replying to King David's hello. He then managed to find himself a seat, dissapointed by the fact there was only wine.

"Well then, thank Brassicus Prime I brought this over!" thought Brassicus, finding his emergancy flask of tea and pouring it to a nearby wine cup. "So Alys, how have you been since the last time we met?" said Brassicus, hoping to spark up conversation.
