Family Parents - Father was Simon McPherson, a supervisor in a tractor factory who was also a representative of the Tractor Manufacturers Union in the Workers Congress. Mother was Ruth McPherson, a kitchen assistant at the same factory as her husband
Siblings - Oliver McPherson (1949) was a dockyard workers in Arrakeen, conscripted into the USR military in 1974 and died in the Truthsayer War of 1979. Left a widow (now deceased) and two children who Stephen looked after.
Adeen McPherson (1950) a nurse who now advisers on health care matters. Has two sons both officers in the military.
Wife - Kimberly McPherson (1949) was a secretary at the Workers Congress when the two meet. Married in 1973.
Children - Rufus McPherson (1978) currently a police detective in Seitch. Has a young daughter
William McPherson (1980) a pilot in the Air Force.
Education1957-1964 - Geidi Technical Academy, graduated with good grades and was a gifted engineer
1964-1968 - Stalingrad University, graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During this time he became a member of the Universities Student Soviet Congress.
Employment1968-1975 - Was an officer in the Soviet Forces of Kiataine in the 3rd Combat Engineers. Saw action in the Truthsayer War where he personally executed 20 members of the Bene Gesserit.
1975-1980 - Entered government service as an advisor on Public Works.
1980-1985 - Assistant Minister of Public Works
1985-1987 - Minister of Public Works
1987-present - Following the assassination of his predecessor Hamish McEachren he was named President.
