This beer is dark strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring. | Very full, creamy smooth and round-bodied aroma, average to good carbonation. Tart dark fruit, raisins, caramel sweetness, warming alcohol, tobacco and leather. Very lush and sincere beer, good malt flavor. Balanced taste, exceptionally complex with an aftertaste that lasts and ends with a dry finish. A taste and experience that is as individual as the person drinking it. Gets its name as the barrels are left to finish their cask fermentation in the breweries original cave store. | Myth says that this ale takes its name from Lord Edwin who helped establish Bakkermaya. The story goes that the recipe was given to him by a merchant in return for being allowed to cross his lands. Fruity (freshly picked apples and citrus) and zesty (coriander, orange peel) esters and a slight touch of hop. Full in the mouth with quite a powerful taste, spicy accents (coriander, bitter orange peel), mildly phenolic, a subtle finish with some added hop bitterness. |

A yellowy gold beer with the aroma of Cedar, Caramel, Orange, Citrus. Flavours start off Biscuity fading to Fruity, Herbal and Piney before finishing with a Medium Bitterness | It looks like chocolate sauce and that’s about the texture it achieves too. The orange and chocolate here are both bitter, and intense but fade to taste like crystallised ginger and candied peels. | A really good Sour brewed with lactose and apricot. Not too sour on the palate but dry in the right measure. Medium and carbonation. Creamy texture and dry finish |
