The Ministry of Labour has made a new controversial law, Labour Act 224. Labour Act 224 makes it illegal to stop working and retire from work. Although citizens are not allowed to retire, citizens past the age of 70 are restricted past certain jobs that may be too difficult for their age. Although, the government has generously offered an alternative. This alternative allows a person past the age of 70 to volunteer to be assigned a job by the Ministry of Labour.
