Euirasian State Monopoly Breakup
« on: December 14, 2018, 11:35:02 AM »

Commonwealth of Euirasia

The Commonwealth of Euirasia is instituting a policy of domestic market liberalisation to remove barriers to competitiveness and bring our economy into line with the international market.

As a part of this ongoing programme of modernisation the government has approved the breakup and sale of the following state owned monopolies:

Euirasian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC)
Euirasian Coal & Gas (ECG)
AirEuirasia
Euirasian Electric Company (EEC)
National Rail & Omnibus Corporation NROC)
Euirasian Steel, Aluminium & Alloys (ESAA)

Euirasia is happy to receive bids from international businesses for the purchase in part or total of these monopolies. In addition to this the markets that these companies represent will be opened to fair competition and barriers on international investment in the sectors will be dropped.

Interested parties should contact the Ministry for Trade and Investment as follows:

To:-  H.E Carl Argent, Minister for Trade and Investment

Greetings, as Swastria's and one of the world's premier commodity trading and mining companies, GLENCORE (GLobal ENergy COmmodity REsources) hereby wishes to acquire the rights pertaining to the Euirasian Steel, Aluminium & Alloys (ESAA), primarily speaking and if possible, the Euirasian Coal & Gas (ECG).

Founded in the 1970s as a trading company, we have grown to become a major producer and marketer of commodities - employing 146,000 people under our care. Our operations comprise around 150 mining and metallurgical sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities. Using our sector knowledge and extensive supply base, we source and market commodities to industrial consumers who need them - such as steel-makers, vehicle manufacturers, power companies and processors of oil and food. In this way, we produce and market resources that play an essential role in modern life. People are at the heart of our business. That’s why we prioritise safety at all our assets; why we seek to minimise our impacts on the environment and communities; and why we aim to attract employees who strive to be leaders in their field.

It is with our great hope that thee consider our generous proposition, and thus looking forward to the awaited reply.

Sincerely,

Adelger Herreshoff, CEO of GLENCORE

Minister Argent;

Abstergo Industries has long been a leader in providing solutions in a variety of fields, both in domestic and foreign markets. In telecommunications Abstergo has been a pioneer, preparing for the rollout of 5G services in the Rokkenjiman and Lodjan markets and providing an unparalleled level of integration in data services as well as consumer-facing services in the form of our line of mobile operating systems (AbsterGO and its successor, Ambient). As Euirasia borders the First Empire we are in a unique position to leverage our Rokkenjiman network and resources to ensure Euirasian consumers have access to some of the highest data rates available throughout Mundus, while also ensuring a calling network with levels of reliability enviable by any measure. Furthermore, with investments focused on future computing technologies such as graphene not only does Abstergo posses the capability to redefine Euirasian telecommunications, but also provide leading edge solutions to Euirasian energy needs.

Having reviewed your notice it is our belief that acquiring the Euirasian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) and Euirasian Electric Company (EEC) would be natural fits for Abstergo and would allow us to provide the best levels of service to your customers, businesses and government organisations. With the First Empire right across your border Abstergo is, again, in a unique position to service the electrical needs presently serviced by the Euirasian Electric Company. With a proven track record in conventional and sustainable energy solutions Abstergo is best positioned to service the present electrical needs of Euirasia while building a power generation and distribution network geared toward the future. Our solutions will ensure that the Euirasian market is on the same leading edge as the Rokkenjiman market; this will bring greater efficiency, lower costs, as well as greater capacity which will fuel Eurasian industry and progress well into the coming century.

As an example, at present, seven percent of energy which is produced by electric companies is lost simply in transmission. Through the utilization of future graphene solutions we can work towards eliminating such losses while powering the next generation of Eurasian innovation. Leveraging a portfolio of sustainable and contemporary energy resources Abstergo, as it has done for the Rokkenjiman market, is best positioned to power Eurasia in the present era while preparing it for the next generation of energy and technological innovations. These are positions I am comfortable in stating that none of our competitors can meet.

I look forward to the opportunity to continue our discussions and to engaging in business within the Euirasian market.

Albert Relkin
Acting CEO
Abstergo Industries

To Minister Argent

Here at EMAC we have always sought to be an industrial leader in aviation however as yet that has always confined itself to being a producer of equipment, we feel that our business is now in a prime position to diversify and we believe that by assuming some, or all the services undertaken by AirEuirasia we can create an Air Transport network second to none. While there may be other bidders for this position you can be assured that none will have the unique position we have. Our company has through the CNN and various other East Moreland treaties the ability to open up a wide reaching network with little or no issues. Furthermore no other bidder will be quiet as qualified as us in terms of procurement or maintenance of aircraft. We are immensely confident that should you elect to work with us you will have a world class state of the art airline.

Should you require anymore details please feel free to contact us.

Sir Alan Maybury
CEO EMAC

Minister Argent,

I am the Director for Ardia at LS Railways International. LS Railways is one of the two largest railway companies in Dartfordia and one of the most successful in the world. We were founded in 1603 as the Gardner and Williamson Wagonway Company, and in our 400-year history have led the world in railway technology.

We would be interested in the partial acquisition of the National Rail & Omnibus Corporation (NROC). Specifically, National Rail passenger and freight services , subject to an assessment of the viability of the Euirasian rail industry.

Kind regards,

Julian Askrew

Zenith Data Systems are a relatively young company and have a small stake in the Bakkermayan mobile phone networks having only emerged in 2013 at a time when bandwidth bids were being undertaken. Our network currently has some 300,000 customers and we are the fastest growing network in Bakkermaya. We may be a small company but our recent developments in "Biohacking" show the level of innovation we bring to the table. As part of our plan to grow our business it is hoped that we shall bid for further bandwidths as they come onto the market in Bakkermaya and have not ruled out aggressively pursuing acquisition of rivals allocations if possible. As such we believe the Lakhzovian market is in need of a company such as ourselves. We are customer focused, innovative and growing rapidly. We would love to have the opportunity to show the world just what a company such as ourselves can do. We therefore would request an opportunity to pick up either all or part of the networks currently run by Euirasian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC). We would be willing to buy Bandwidth in Lakhzovia to operate 4G networks at $9.8million per Mhz up to a maximum of 20MhZ, however should we be given exclusivity we would be willing to negotiate a mutually beneficial price.

Thank you for your consideration

Peter Simod
CEO of Zenith Data Systems (ZDS)

Minister Argent,

Riviere Corporation has always maintained a high standard of work in a multitude of different areas such as computing, specialist manufacturing, research and development and energy, we are a business with a proud history of providing employment opportunities for all levels of workers and a strong reputation and excellent customer satisfaction at the other end. Having looked over your information and having done our own due diligence we would be interested in acquiring either all or a significant amount (70-75%) of the Euirasian Electric Company (EEC) and around 15-20% of the Euirasian Coal & Gas (ECG) - these estimates are based out of an initial projected plan to achieve what we believe can be accomplished with these industries to provide the relative service at a reasonable and above all safe cost while working within our capabilities, these being well documented and at the forefront of the industry. We recognize we may not be the only bidder for either of these industries but we feel that there is a solid plan behind this interest and are prepared to negotiate a reasonable price for what we're looking for.

If you wish to discuss this further or have any other questions please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Signed

Catriona Rowan
CEO Riviere Corporation

To Minister Carl Argent,

As the largest Quintelian oil company, we'd like to bid for some control of the Euirasian Coal and Gas. We have had experience in the extraction of natural gas in highly efficient and nondestructive methods. With Quintelian government subsidies, we can ensure state of the art facilities for extraction and refinery of the said natural gas. We are looking forward to cooperating  the you.

Truly Yours,

To Minister Carl Argent,

Dalton Motors is a car manufacturing company based in Quintelia. Ever since our establishment in 1972, we have expanded to manufacturing other products such as trucks, buses, trains, factory robots, electric trains, and even drones. Therefore, we are asking to acquire a sizeable percentage of the National Rail and Omnibus Corporation. We are willing to cooperate with other companies that would bid for the same company. Thank you for considering, and may God bless you.

Truly Yours,

Ian Dalton

To: Carl Argent, Minister for Trade and Investment

A thousand greetings from Xæth, Minister Argent. We here at Haxa Steel would be most interested in the partial acquisition of Euirasian Steel, Aluminium & Alloys (ESAA), in particular that which is related to steel and other ferrous alloys. Haxa Steel, a subsidairy of the Haxa Group founded in 1910, is the largest private steel company in all of Xæth with a long tradition of producing cheap and high-quality iron and steel and products constructed from such. With over a century of experience and success, we believe we will be more than able to assist in your nation's modernisation program. We feel that our acquisition of ESAA assets would prove to be an arrangement mutually beneficial for both our corporation and your government. We eagerly await your response.

Sincerely;

Alaxa Ooran, CEO of Haxa Steel

Commonwealth of Euirasia

My Ministry is extremely encouraged by the interest shown by various global firms in purchasing part, or all of the state monopolies on offer. Some sectors in particular have proved to be very popular investment opportunities and where this has happened we will seek to find investment arrangements that benefit all parties.

At present we wish to offer the current allocations:

AirEuirasia - To be sold to EMAC subject to appropriate valuation

Euirasian Steel, Aluminium & Alloys (ESAA) - To be split between Glencore and Haxa Steel. Allocation of assets will be determined by a combination of investment size on the part of the two corporate groups and area of specialisation.

National Rail & Omnibus Corporation NROC) - To be split between Rail and Omnibus services:

-Omnibus services to be sold to Dalton Motors
-Intercity and International Rail links to be sold to LS Railways
-Provincial Rail network to be sold to Dalton Motors

Euirasian Electric Company (EEC) - After carefully weighing the merits of the two bids for the EEC it was decided that the advantages of geographical proximity of Rokkenjima and the potential this offers for infrastructure integration makes Abstergo Industries the preferred party for the takeover of EEC. As part of our market liberalisation plans however we intend to remove barriers to competition in this sector. We therefore invite Riviere to independently invest in the sector if it remains interested in securing a share of the Euirasian energy market.

Euirasian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) - We are happy to invite both Abstergo Industries and Zenith to purchase physical assets of the ETC in proportion to investment. We intend as a part of reforms to further remove barriers to sector expansion allowing ample opportunity for both groups to expand operations in the country. Much of the countryside remains without adequate mobile network coverage and this provides a significant area for market growth.

Euirasian Coal & Gas (ECG) - We are happy to offer Riviere the requested 20% of assets in the ECG breakup. SeaOil and Glencore are then invited to purchase the remaining share of ECG's assets according to investment and preference.

If any party is unhappy with allocations and wishes to withdraw their bid or enter into negotiations with the Ministry and other bidders we are happy to attempt to make accommodation.

Sincerely

Carl Argent
Minister for Trade and Investment

To:- Minister Argent

We are delighted to have been announced as your preferred contract to take over the duties of AirEuirasia. As we enter discussions regarding price we would like the following considerations to be taken into account when a price is being set.

1. That we do not wish to take ownership of any aviation asset older than 20 years old.It is our aim to ensure that the routes we fly will be serviced by a fleet of modern, well serviced and economical aircraft.

2. That we intend to take on all existing AirEuirasia staff who wish to continue their employment. This will be done simply switching their AirEuirasia contract to an EMAC Airlines one.

3. Over the coming months we intend to expand the routes flown by AirEuirasia thus making job opportunities for expansion within the Lakhzovia aviation industry.

We look forward to fixing a price in the coming days and beginning our services.

Regards

John Renshaw
Director of Operations EMAC Airlines.

To Minister Carl Argent,

It is with our delight to receive your announcement that we will take a large part of your mad transit system. We can discuss about the price later, however, we'd like to clear  up a few things namely:

1. Employees of NROC that are associated with the bus services and provincial rail network will be kept and their wages adjusted to be the same as those who work in Quintelia.

2. Any trains and buses that have less than ten years of service will remain in service, otherwise they will be scrapped for parts for maintenance or if possible, manufacturing.

3. We will build a factory and maintenance depot for buses and trains in your capital city, while a maintenance depot for trains will be built in each province's capital city.

4. We shall cooperate with LS Railways on how the rail lines will work, and if the situation arises, we can temporarily give control to them until the said situation is averted.

We are looking forward to an agreement where we can work together smoothly and without any problems.

Truly Yours,

Ian Dalton
CEO of Dalton Motors
